Steve was very personable and explained what he was doing. He also shared a bit of knowledge to help me keep our air conditioner running at peak efficiency.
They were so rude to the owners of the house we are buying we had to make multiple phone calls to repair the damage they caused. Totally unprofessional, out of nowhere, we just wanted AC in the house. 100% would never consider them again.

We had Matt Motz fix a leak in our upstairs bathroom. He was absolutely terrific. He came in at the early hours of the morning to fix stop the leak and then a few days later to finish the job.
He was courteous and understanding even though he had worked a really long day. He also understood that we weren't happy that we had a leak--and he did his best to serve us and make sure everything was ok so that things did not get worse. I'd give him 5 stars for his customer service and work.
The only reason I put 4 stars though is the price. We weren't anticipating to pay what we paid for the type of leak we had.

Noah was great! He identified that my geothermal system was set up for zones but was not installed. He explained to me how upgrading my system with zones would make things run more efficiently and also gave me a logical explanation how my geothermal system operates. Very helpful! I purchased an A/C tune-up through Groupon. Jory called me on the morning of the appointment and arrived about 10 minutes early. He wore shoe covers in my house, and was very polite, and professional. He did a thorough examination of the unit and then gave me a full report.
I feel that I can trust the report he gave me. There was no hard-selling, no inexplicable problems found, nor any kind of up-selling.
Overall, I was very happy and will certainly use Genz-Ryan again.
Scott arrived on time, he called first. Introduced himself, immediately took off his shoes before entering.He tried to fix the garbage disposal but the barrings (sp) were shot (his words). So he explained all of the different types he could put in and we chose one and he installed it immediately. I was impressed that he brought his own drop cloth and cleaned up everything when he left. I might add that he was a pleasant person and very respectful. I think you are fortunate to have such a person like Scott working out on the field. He represents your good company well! I might add that this work was done for my daughter Andra Hentges but she wasn't home when he arrived.

The actual plumber I dealt with was great. The office staff and pricing information not so great. I could not get a decent quote for the repair I needed and it turned out to feel like a bait and switch at the end. I would not recommend their service for the prices they charge.
Josh was very transparent, honest and upfront about what to expect. My only disappointment was getting the total cost of repair upfront from the customer service reps on the phone prior to the visit. Feel I got the runaround on that piece but in regards to Josh, the service was great.
One other piece of feedback is on the estimated time of Tech arrival. The times quoted were 40 minutes to an hour and in actually, I waited 2+ hours each time so maybe want to rebook at how those times are being estimated and communicated to the customer.
The service I needed was to fix a shut off valve assembly for my sprinkler system. Dan was courteous and gave me several service options. The work was done much quicker than I expected.

This company is joke. Ryan A tried to defraud me of $1200 and then I tried to follow up with Natalie to address my concerns but she was always too busy or unavailable to talk. These people are not interested in helping you, only in separating you from your money.
Oh and by the way, I got a second opinion on that $1200 repair and turns out no repairs are needed. At least I now know an honest company to call and it sure is NOT GenzRyan.
Originally scheduled an appointment for later in the week, however I got a phone call a couple hours later that an electrician was in the area and could stop by. Ryan was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. All in all, great experience, would definitely use Genz-Ryan in the future.

Service technicians are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, timely, thorough and honest. The company sends out email, text and phone call verification of your appointment and the bio and picture of the service technician you can expect to see at your door. I appreciate these safeguards.

Our furnace needed to be replaced (we had been told by another company) and so we called Genz-Ryan. Ryan A. told us exactly why the furnace needed to be replaced and gave us options for the work (including a new AC, which we had requested), along with estimates for each option. This was not your ordinary estimator!!! High praise to Genz-Ryan (and Ryan A in particular) for having the smarts to send technicians to do the estimates. Ryan gave us so much information, without pushing us to buy from him. He told us the pluses and minuses of each system and explained everything so that we could understand. He was AWESOME!!!
Mike Busher was easy to work with. Open and honest. Inspection was thorough and explained well. Our furnace is older and options for a replacement were presented and pulled up on his tablet.

Zac Benson quickly identified and fixed the issue we where having with respect to our furnace ductwork. He was informative and professional.
I hired Genz Ryan back in January for a rental property I own. They never completed the job that I hired them to do which included mold removal. I paid the bill under the assumption that the work was completed and it was not. They hire third party companies to do some of the restoration work and no one is accountable for the work being done. The walls were unfinished, mold still remained in the property, and contstruction debries was left behind for my tenant. I have called and spoken with many individuals at the company with promises of the completion of the project...now it is June and the condition still remains the same. I would highly recommend using another company for major projects.

So dissatisfied. Wanted a simple leak fixed, from a company that I thought I could trust. They quoted 8k in work after walking through our whole house and assessing everything, which I did not ask them to do. Priced the initial leak at $800 to fix. We fixed the issue with a $2 gasket. Unbelievable. Called the company several times to discuss this terrible experience. No one will call me back. I just want my $100 back for the joke of a quote they gave me.
I wish I could go lower. They are highly overpriced. The people quoting can t give you a break out on why the price is what it is. Brought them in for furnace. Gave 2 options for replacement. $5500 was the lowest. Which is a bit high. Then they wanted 4500 for water heater and softener. I went to Home Depot and had installed for half that. They came to Install the furnace and missed the humidifier and wanted to requote. I think because they were dealing with my wife they were trying to take advantage. Will never call again! EVER! I really can t believe that they have a high rating from so many others. This may be one of my worst home repair experiences. But to each their own, I guess.
Was going to amend my review, because after complaining it sounded like things would be better. However, they left a mess outside and were called to clean it up, and now found a mess behind my dryer were they left debris after drilling holes for new vents. On top of that, they did get the old humidifier working but didn t change the filter which need to be changed annually, by heating contractor. Guess it won t be them. Instead of adding new gas supply, tried to bend existing pipe around and left it touching the heat ductwork. Not up to code. Expensive and not professional at all.
We can add losing my phone member and not answering when I call the number provided on this post to your list of issues. I left a message, doubt I ll here anymore.
Amended again. After much complaint they came back and corrected the issues. Still can t rank high, because of the hassle but at least they eventually made it right.
Spring time. Air conditioner comes on, but furnace fan does not. Can t say I m surprised. Seriously people, do not call this company.
Fairly sure this should be my last update. Had a real professional come out. Furnace was not set up properly for my AC. 2 ton vs 2.5. We also found I was mostly heating and cooling the utility room because Genz Ryan, when putting in new vents for the furnace, disconnected one of the ducts to the house. This was not reconnected and thus much of my heat and air was blowing right back into the utility room vs other rooms in the house. The vent pipe needed to be rerouted to put the air duct back.
I m out another $500 but at least I feel this time I have quality and found someone I can trust. If you are in the New Brighton area and have issue with your furnace and air, I beg you call someone else. It will avoid this pain.

Screws hoses aluminum chips from the replaced appliance all over the floor. 3.AND POOLS OF WATER EVERYWHERE. WHAT HAPPENED TO TREAT SOMEONES HOME LIKE ITS YOURS? A product that was still under warranty NO PARTS? No problem! The sales rep Steve was great. Hope this DOES NOT HAPPEN TO YOU. THEY SHOULD COME IN HERE CLEAN MY HOME. AC went out on Sunday July 1st. I called Monday. Scheduling with them is tricky. They only give u a 30-60 min notice before arrival, so that makes it hard with work. But anyways, it's Thurs, July 5th. And Brian came out this afternoon .He gave us pricing options and several options for repair to chose from. A few hours later we finally had cool air again! We are only halfway through the repair tho. It still needs a transfer line replaced, but happy to have it cooling again. And Brian was very nice to work with. He was very friendly and even talked to my dogs

Why isn't 0 stars an option? They will not give a simple ball-park quote over the phone for something as common as a refrigerator water line. When they get their foot in the door they say it s a $1,000.00 or we ll leave and do nothing after wasting 3 hours of your time for $100.00. It s extortion. It was a 1 hour job with $30.00 of materials and easy access, I even drilled the hole through the floor, provided the ladder and my bathroom twice. The plumber was there from 8:30 am until noon. They say the don't bill by the hour, they bill by the job. What a crock. Thieves. Genz Ryan ripoff artists will never darken my door again.

Purchased a heating and AC tuneup. While they pointed some things out that were wrong, it seemed like more of a scare tactic. They didn't really explain the issues...and my furnace didn't work after they came out. It seems they fiddled or bumped some wires and this caused the problem. When calling the company, they wanted to charge me again to come out and look at the problem. Since I wasn't satisfied I called a different company to diagnose the problem. and correct it. I think they need to pay for all the advertising they do...so maybe they try to scare you and or create problems.

This company does not backup their warranty for repairs. They gave us a one year warranty on an expensive repair for our AC which didn't even last 4 weeks. They refused to honor the warranty. I would not trust this company again, nor would I recommend their service to anyone.

Our shower handle was broken - the shower wouldn't turn off. The technician didn't even look at the handle and told us it would be $600 for a fix that wasn't a guarantee and $1000 to replace the whole fixture. He said it was our water softeners fault and we need a new $10,000 water softener. He also pointed out several thousand dollars worth of other work we should do, like get our air ducts cleaned, when we already did have them cleaned a couple months ago. We sent him away and had someone else come do the repair. It was $300 and had nothing to do with our water softener. Just a broken piece inside the handle. At least they gave us back the $100 trip fee because I told them we were unhappy.
