The worst shoe store I've EVER been in! The staff make us feel super uncomfortable and some of them were talking behind customers back and giving eyes. Extremely unpleasant and I would never step in this store again.

As for finding quality shoes, this store is one of Montreal's top destinations. They don't have everything, but one can usually find a good fit there nontheless. As for the staff, quite pushy indeed!

I order some boots for a gift in store, the store would call me to pick them up in 1-3 days and nobody called. 1 weeks later I call them and they said they will never have the boots again, and that many customers are in my situation.

Why did they make me pay for the boots at the first place, and why nobody called to inform me before? Now I have passed my gift's date, and I'm without ressources.

I wanted to order a pair of white FILA shoes from Browns. The seller clearly did not want to order a new pair. I did not want to have a dirty pair that was worn many times by customers. Obviously, since I strongly insisted on the command, he finally decided to order a pair (with a rather lazy attitude / beast). So I ordered the WHITE FILA 8 1/2. I was told that it would take about 2-3 days for the order to arrive in the store. Six days later, I call them because I have never received a call from Browns. So I ask the lady if my pair of shoes arrived and she said: yes for 4 days! Then I emphasize the fact that I was never called. The lady at the end of the phone answers me very stupidly saying: yes! you have already been called ma'am. Then she hangs up on my face without me even thanking her. The next day, I arrive in store and ... the pair was colorful while I mentioned that I wanted them WHITE. So, I return them and re-order for a second time. The second time I arrive in the store, I am given the white pair but with the wrong size (8). Frustrated, I told them I wanted the 8 1/2. The lady is going to look for a dirty pair in the warehouse. I said that I absolutely wanted to order them because I did not want a pair SALE (seems to me that it is clear no?). What's the point of ordering a pair if you give me a dirty pair? Then, they invent full excuses for me to take the shoes from the warehouse. They start talking on my back and give me stupid glances between them. The cashier FINALLY orders me a new pair, but so roughly ... On leaving, I do not get any excuses (like what they missed my order 2 times). The 3rd time I came back, I was finally given the right pair with the right color and size.

Worst service ever. I am sincerely disappointed, because I often shop there, but this experience really traumatized me. I will not return to shop at Browns. No respect, no worries for his customers. Silly sellers. -5 stars.

I ordered Some shoes at this store in Montreal .They told me the item will come in three days , five days later I called and they tell me the shoes came the next day but they mistaken my phone number . they had my email where they kept sending me their promotions message , but nothing about my order . And the lady was so rude in the phone I had to call her back to let her notice that she just hanged the phone on me .

In spite of what people will say about this store , I found the service very petty. They behave as if they just want some kind of people to come in there , very sad for a retailer, I don't see why they should try in a very clumsy way to be snobbish . May be it was also me , a handsome black guy shows up , even if in Montreal we should not talk , because it's '<<' perfect place with happy people >>'' right ??? Very sad !!!

Large selection of mid range to high end shoes, presented nicely in a bright and sunny store. Service staff are always attentive, but sometimes I get a sense of being pushed into a purchase or into being upsold. The prices are higher than many competitors nearby even on sale, so the main reason to shop here is the wider range.

Has a great selection of shoes but the workers tend to ignore you unless you are as flashy as the store is. When someone does help you, they act like you're bothering them when you ask for different sizes of shoes. If it weren't for their selection I'd rather not return.

Purchase a pair of B2 winter boots online ($ 159.9...

Purchase a pair of B2 winter boots online ($ 159.99), less than two months after purchase, the sole comes off at the heel .... some glue is visible + holes in the boot.
It seemed extremely tedious to make the return with a smile in person when I was the only customer in the store. I am told several information contradictory to the site. We refute my questions about quality.
However, the exchange of the same value was successful.
High prices for poor quality.
I do not recommend this branch.

We weren't even greeted! and I'm still waiting to be asked if I need help. 15 minutes of waiting and no salesperson showed up. My congratulations to Browns! You really know how to serve your customers badly.

Zero teamwork between commission based salespeople...

Zero teamwork between commission based salespeople. I worked my whole life in sales and it's sad to see when they are competing to the point that they need to take back a sale when a colleague clearly initiated a relationship already. Do it quietly amongst you by speaking to head cash who gets what but its distasteful especially when the person who says hello and asks to help first should really get the sale. It's how it works; my team never fought we all knew who was doing what and never had to resort to desperation. Your store is rocking and rolling. Relax. There's enough for everyone. 5 stars to the new guy who was sincere and kind to back down. Stand your ground though next time; being a rookie doesn't mean you can't be assertive to senior colleagues.

Already we are more or less ignored by my saleswom...

Already we are more or less ignored by my saleswoman when we arrive. There were 3-4 on the floor talking to each other when we arrived in the shop with a friend and I had to "interrupt" them to ask for a size.
Then, at the time of checkout, the salesgirl tells me that she exchanged the model tried for a new, to avoid that I have the shoe in explosion. I thank her for his attention .... except that when I arrive at home, I discover that the soles of the shoes are dirty. In particular one of the two, which even had a stapled price tag underneath (and the sale price plus I paid full price!) ... and so was an exhibition model that was probably much more worn than the one I tried since this road went through sales!
So in the end I am really disappointed by this shop, despite the beautiful shoes it offers!

Was passing by and needed try on some winter boots to figure out my size for future reference and for a friend who has the same size as me and was going to buy boots soon. I asked a sales associate to help me out. I had an idea already to what size I must be so it legit took only 5 minutes and I thanked the sales associate and told him I would be buying next time. He got mad at me and told me I wasted his time, making me feel bad and apologizing to him, to which now that I think about it, I really shouldn't have. I also tried to ask him a question and he answered in a way as if I was bothering him and dismissed me. I left the shop feeling guilty and upset. Coming from an older adult man you'd expect a little more maturity :/. I then went to the Brown's at Mirabel Premium Outlets and the sales associate there was so much more helpful and such a sweetheart.

Great service from the girl who helped us, Kayla!!! 5/5. However, the check out girl was unfortunately really passive and rude. A bit disappointing to start on a high and end with a low. 3.5 starts.

I had to return my pair of shoes after a month of usage they come with a one-year warranty just bring them back to the store and the store was very happy to return them and replace them with no problems.

I always buy shoe in this store "Browns" cause i always found the shoe that i wanted in here. In addition they have a good stuffs and good service and i love it, which is the reasons why i always coming back in Browns. One time i was disappointed, as soon as i paid for the the lady in cashier asked me, she said "why your still standing there?" And i said where is the shoes, cause she didnt give it yet. Instead of giving me the shoes after i buy it she put it in the corner of the table and she gets mad while im still standing there and she gossip something to her coworker while in front of me which is unnecessary cause shes talking something about me and i heard the "F" word and i didnt like that act cause its a form of insulting. Since they have a good stuffs and i got the shoes i let go of it, and i hope they will not going to do it next time. However i still recommend this store if your looking for some trends and affordable shoes.

Workers gaslight you for their commission if you mention the shoes don't fit your feet. Sales people here are slimy and don't seem to be terribly knowledgeable about their own products. I have visited this location 4 or 5 times and it's always the same disappointing story.

Gonna use them to find my size and buy online instead...

The sales assistants seem to have very little patience with customers and trying many models seems to frustrate them. On the other hand, the shop has amazing selection of shoes for everyone.
