Used the $59 special to have our furnace checked. Technician said we had a crack and carbon monoxide was leaking out. Would not turn the gas back on. Got 2 more professional opinions...no crack at all. Stay away from Genz Ryan.

This is a quality employee. I do find that your prices are too high and that may make you loose as a client. It s sad because they are promo and fast. But those prices are a rip off. You have become too expensive for the average working g class. Beware because there are much cheaper prices with individual wit those silly iPads.
Be careful trusting these guys. I can t believe the call I had with one of their reps and how much he charged for not fixing or diagnosing anything. He took advantage of my panic and the emergency I was having to make a quick buck. He even tried to sell me elongated toilets - while my basement was still flooding!
The toilets were not even part of the problem. I can t believe these people. Read the other one star reviews and be careful Hiring these guys.

Mike was outstanding. He covered all the issues with my service call. His thorough approach is the reason I entered a service program. After waiting 6 months for my tune up, I was not happy. Mike is an asset I hope G/R appreciates.

Polite, professional, and very helpful. At my request Tyler put mothballs in the AC by the hole mice where coming in. He was also very patient with my hearing impaired husband.
Zac was great. He answered my questions and inspected and showed me how to operate humidifier. Told me what humidity levels to have in my house and when to change filter. Very nice person.
Beware! We invited Genz Ryan to come out to our home to provide a proposal for water heater replacement. On completion of their assessment, they advised they would be willing to go over their proposals with me, but would not provide me with anything in writing. No written estimate, no email, nothing we could have which would specify the equipment and labor being proposed. Lead technician informed me it was 'bad business' to do so. What's bad business is doing business with anyone unwilling to leave you with an estimate or proposal to review and consider!
Billy and Jeff are Awesome with their knowledge and expertise. Friendly and courteous!! What a Great Team Genz-Ryan has in these two! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again for your help with my 17 year old furnace.
The technician who arrived at my condo, for what will now be a yearly check-up of my air conditioner, was very friendly, out-going, professional, and thorough. Hope to see him again in the fall when my furnace will need to be tuned up for the fall and winter months.
Too many problems with the boiler that they installed incorrectly! I spent $8,000 and I've had to have the boiler repaired 4 times. It didn't even have the water supply connected to it which is very important with a boiler.
Bought 2, one as gift. Biggest rip-off I ever experienced. Technician looked at my furnace 10 or 15 minutes, said carbon monoxide was at high level and I needed a new furnace, I said aren't you going to at LEAST clean it? Said CAN"T, crack in heat exchanger, but will have a company sales rep come by to talk about new furnace. Called another company, inspected (with remote camera as well), said furnace is fine, heat exchanger looked good,no cracks (even showed me), finished tuning and furnace has ran well all winter. (And we're all still alive!). This was back in December. Needless to say, I'll eat the gift card bought, wouldn't do business with Genz-Ryan (no pun intended) if my life depended on it!
Technician s they sent were friendly, professional people, problem was even though I asked for someone knowledgeable about my equipment they did not send one and then wanted to reschedule during my work week. It took 3 tries to fix my humidifier. I think the people that work there are great, but they need to improve the way they run the business.
The technician did a great job explaining the technical information. I'm not too happy though with how Genz-Ryan sets appointments: They don't make appointment times. You pretty much have to be home all day or be able to be back at your house when you get the call that they'll be there in 30 minutes.
Andrew seemed very knowledgeable and honest. He spent time addressing the electrical problems and fixing them. He was very professional. He did an excellent job.

Just wanted to determine if my water heater needed to be replaced. The first estimate I received was for almost $10,000 to replace several things in our home. Not the experience I was looking for.
I received a phone call from Genz Ryan today, just 8 days after my first review, to discuss my experience and they were extremely helpful and understanding. My service technician was great and extremely knowledgeable, and I didn t want anything negative to happen to him. The manager explained in detail what Genz Ryan was all about, he made me feel more satisfied and I will say in the future I would try them again. It just wasn t the right time for my project.
Dan W. came to my house for a furnace tune up today. I was worried because I thought my furnace and fan had been running more than usual over the last month. He took his time and didn't rush like I've had other companies in the past do for tune ups. Dan made sure to answer all my questions and was extremely professional. He gave me tips for conserving energy, and made sure that my furnace was in tip top shape . I am extremely impressed with the customer service, skill set and knowledge that Dan had. Thanks Genz-Ryan, if I ever have HVAC issues again I'll definetly call again and ask for Dan!
Very poor service follow up. Would not recommend - don't take the first people that appear at the top of the list when doing a search.
1. I had an emergency over the weekend. Could not use toilet, sinks, anything with plumbing. Flooded first basement, bathroom and TV room.
2. Technician was late getting to my home. He advised the diagnosis/work couldn't be completed until Monday. He didn't have a camera.
2. On Monday, I was told they had fixed one of the lines and I could use the plumbing. Technician advised all was good.
3. BTW, I stopped by on Monday and they had dug up my backyard. The guys doing the digging were both sitting around having a smoke. My entryway smelled like smoke.
4. Tuesday morning, I did dishes/showered and used toilet. Remember, I was told I could. I went downstairs and had more flooding.
5. I called again and someone came out. Advised they had misdiagnosed and it was a different sewage pipe that was backing up. They fixed it.
6. Because the problem reoccurred, I needed to keep the clean up by Service Master. We ended up starting over again. Additional costs by me the homeowner.
7. Most problematic: the Customer Service Team. a. I called numerous times to find out where the field guys were. 3 times, customer service told me that the service people in the field are not "good" at following up.
8. Because I wasn't confident that the work was completed properly, I requested a copy of the inspection report. Only when I stated I was going to be posting on YELP/etc. did anyone take any action. Then it took them a week. They emailed it to a misspelled Email address.
9. I have asked for the owner of the company - they were hesitant - as I needed to work up the chain of command.
