If I could, I would give this dealership zero star...

If I could, I would give this dealership zero stars. We were contacted by a salesman today about a 2019 Acadia for $26,388. When we got to the dealership I confirmed the Acadia would be $26,388 plus TT&L. We went on a test drive and I told them we may or may not trade in my car depending on the deal. After going back and forth they offered $4,500 less for my trade-in than I received at another dealership. I wanted to move forward without the trade. I was then told they had to receive a trade because they would lose money. I asked why we were not told that up front and he said the manager just told him. The website showed the price we were quoted and then changed after we left. I did buy a Buick at another dealership.

I purchased my 2012 Buick LaCrosse here and the Service Department was always a good experience till here recently. I took my car in to get diagnos for repairs on Monday evening 2/12 waited a few days never heard a thing...I was then told they were backed up. It literally took the Service Department a ENTIRE week 2/20 to give me diagnos for repairs....Very inconvenient. They then came back with outrageous cost for repairs. My husband and I decided to pick up my car and have repairs completed elsewhere. I called Service Department to advise and was told they'll call me when my car is ready for pick up. AGAIN another delay and being inconvenienced. Once I arrived to pick up my car my tire pressure was low on 2 tires, No one bothered to air up my tires. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I will not purchase a car or use this service Department again!!! Customer Service sucks....Definitely not what they use to be!!!!!

Bought a 2012 Sierra 4 years ago and everyone I need them to check it and make sure there's nothing wrong with my engine cause it shakes just idle while on, their explanation is "stuff" that does not tell me what's wrong with my truck and they are trying to give me the run around so my warranty can expire and they won't be liable to warranty it out this is my 3 time talking to CHARLES the older man, about it and nothing. Worst customer service ever and when you walk in to the service everyone just stares at you with no response, they need to take them through training for mechanic class l, they don't know there stuff

Used vehicles dont last 90 days. I purchased a used 2014 GMC Sierra from here. The salesman was extremely pushy, but whatever. What I didn't realize is that I would be paying for it at 90 days. I am currently sitting at a mechanic as they review my vehicle. Gateway stuck it to me!!
Will update after their inspection.

On Dec 26, 2015 our home and cars were destroyed by the tornado that hit our area. We were left with a lot of work to do on top of finding new vehicles and no home. Finding my husbands truck was easy because he had just bought his dream truck 8 months earlier so I new what to look for and Gateway Buick GMC had it. We called and worked with Dustin Moore who understood our situation and helped us do everything over the phone sending us pictures thru text and working out the final numbers and financing all over the phone. Since it was New Year's Eve we could not get anyone to drive us to the dealership so Dustin had his Supervisor drive the truck all the way to us which was 45min drive and we signed the papers on the tail gate. Despite everything going on this was the smoothest car buy I have ever made and my husband has his dream truck back. I could not be more thankful to Dustin and Kelly at Gateway for making everything possible. They truly went above and beyond!

I received Bill Lavender's name from a friend. I met with Bill and just after a few minutes I was really impressed with him. He was basic in his sales approach which I considered to be an excellent way to deal with a customer. I really thought he was outstanding and did everything right in showing me the Buick Envision, especially all the features it had to offer. I love the car and the relationship I have built up with Bill. Thank You Bill and Thank You Gateway.

The salesman wanted to negotiate my trade in value in exchange for accepting my supplier pricing benefit and in fact denied me the opportunity of getting a GM rebate for using GM financial alleging that the dealership did not do business with them anymore.

Stopped by today after losing my wheel lock key and they were more than willing to help and remove my wheel locks for me. However, upon entering my car the gentleman wanted to make sure he couldn't find it before they did any unnecessary work and turns out he found the key (even though I thought I searched everywhere). No charge, great service with complete resolution of my issue

UPDATE AGAIN: my husband was told that all their oil filters at their service center collapse once they've gone over 3,000 miles. Acdelco filters. When they kicked him out per my last update, they told him this. Now we are doing an oil change at home because my 1st review explains the filter issue. Now, 5,000 miles and I have pictures and a video to prove that the filters are NOT supposed to collapse when changed at the proper times and mileage.

UPDATED: I took my car in because my car had been making a weird noise and feeling like it was jerking while sitting at a light. It also would smell like burning rubber when my A/C kicked on. Less than 24 hours we get a call they cannot find anything wrong with my car. The paper given back to us says "attempted to remake customer complaints but was unable" or something similar.3 weeks later on our way to vacation my car breaks down. It ends up being an easy/simple fix if your familiar with cars- VVT solenoid. So no one actually checked for issues or to test parts out. Instead we had to spend lots of time in a hot parking lot and spend our vacation money on parts. We are going to a new dealership for now on. Somewhere that honors our warranty and doesnt tell my husband to get out of their building.

Changing my review from a 3 to a 1. And if there was an option for zero stars I'd choose zero. We bought a used car with a certified preowned inspection sheet starting all parts of the car had been looked over and check to be working properly and safely. 1st, a button on the dash popped off. The button cannot be replaced on it's own, so they had to replace the entire assembly on my dash. Then, less than 2 months of having the car we noticed a tire was wearing down funny. Thought we just needed an alignment. Come to find out the rear control arm was bad. But had been checked off as fine on the inspection report. We never hit a pothole close to big enough to had damaged that nor did we even hit anything. We took the car to the dealership to have it looked at and fixed. The service center here is A JOKE. They insisted we hit a pothole, that this was our fault, and that it could not have been an honest mistake or accidental look over. They continue to tell us we dont have a warranty, we are not in our 1 year/12,000 miles limit, and every other thing to avoid helping us. The preowned sales manager ended up speaking with us, getting the problem fixed, and even replaced the tire. He made no fuss about it and was extremely kind about it. After the 2 free oil changes, I needed a 3rd. We where unable to get an appointment in time to have them change it. So my husband decided to do it this time. When he pulled the oil filter out, it had sludge and was collapsed. Which means no one actually changed the filter as we've put over 12,000 miles on the car now. And we had been there twice for an oil change. My motor has been starving for oil which now explains the rattaling noise my car has been making. I'm beyond disappointed with this dealership. I feel like I was sold a lemon. I hope my motor has no damage to come, because it's going to be hell trying to get them to look at the car and to take ownership of their mistakes. I will not buy another vehicle from them. Once my car is paid off we will look elsewhere to upgrade. Save yourself from this nightmare of a scam and look elsewhere.

I bought a 2014 Sierra from these guys. After I purchased it I noticed a vibration in the rear end at highway speeds and also when your driving and let off the gas. I have spoken to the service department several times on this matter. They always gave me the run around one of the older service guys even told me to replace the exhaust ! With that being said I did and that still did not resolve the issue. So I did research on this and found lots of people where having the same issue online. Well the other night my drive shaft snapped in half. The service department is now giving me the run around and are now trying to put the blame on me ! Even tho this problem was there from the time I bought the truck. The service department manager and one of his team members were both trying to team up on me on the phone pretty much telling me I was at fault !
I do not recommend this place due to the fact they will do everything they can not to warranty there vehicles. I still have not heard back from them on my truck and it's just sitting there. Bad customer service. 9/15 Update Gateway Buick GMC Did not honor there warranty !!! THIS LOT IS A CROOK ! THEY ARE MAKING ME FIX A TRUCK THAT WAS DEFECTIVE OUT OF MY OWN POCKET

When I get to the dealership money in hand, the salesman informed me that they added $3295 worth of window tint, bed cover, and speakers in the tailgate?? but forgot to update the website

I had a Great experience here!! I was in and out very quickly. I got an amazing 2014 Buick Verano with more features in it that I was looking for like onstar, and xm radio. After having a very bad experience at Mac Churchill Automall, and almost giving up on getting a new car, Kenny quickly turned that all around. I highly recommend Kenny at this dealership he helped find a car to fit me and told me everything I needed up front to avoid a lot of coming back and forth. And best of all I get free car washes for life on my new car here and they handle all of your service needs too My new favorite place

Avoid the used car sales...specifically Ben Halter. He is cheesy as all get out and gives used car salespeople a bad reputation. He straight up lied to me and my whole family heard it. Oh, and he got my name wrong twice and had no idea what features existed on THEIR vehicles....after continuing to show me vehicles that didn't meet the description of what I wanted.
Gateway....you're only as good as the people representing you.
I then had the opportunity to speak to a sales manager since Ben never called me back after lying to me when he said that the truck was mine if the guy didn't show up that night with the downpayment. The sales manager said he'd call me back by that evening and I never heard from him again either. Oh well....just a waste of my time and their credibility I guess.

I recently took my Lucerne to be diagnosed for an engine shutdown condition. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted promptly by the service writer and I explained the condition I was having and the trouble shooting I had already performed. I give them good marks for their customer service as far as dealing with people, they are courteous and accommodating. They called me the next morning after the technicians had looked at it and determined it was the pcm malfunctioning, which I would agree with. So they successfully diagnosed and performed the repairs. Which proves that their technicians have adequate training and are proficient in determining the cause of failure. However in performing the repairs collateral damage was caused. When I first got in the vehicle I noticed the A/C was not blowing cold air. So before I left I went back inside and informed the service writer of the condition and he promptly took the vehicle back into the bay and had them troubleshoot it and they determined that the relay for the A/C compressor had gone bad and they replaced it. Not a big deal, they made it right. But once I got home and parked the vehicle overnight I went out in the morning and noticed a coolant leak underneath that was not previously there. This is easily something I can identify and correct myself so I'll be doing that today. Just a bit of an inconvenience.

This is our second truck from Gateway. We returned to purchase because we really liked Larry- a genuinely nice man who will gladly put a deal together for you, but who is a no-pressure salesman. We had a hiccup with our brand new truck immediately after purchase (less than a week in and no fault of Gateway s) and we were very grateful for how Larry, Don, and Jaime, the General Manager, handled it. They made the situation right and took care of us, which is ultimately the true test of customer service- what do you do when things go wrong? If we re in the market for another GMC down the road, we will be back to purchase at Gateway.

My experience with Anthony Rainey was AMAZING! Even though I caught him on his 2nd day there he was very informative and listened to what I wanted. He didn't pressure me like other sales men did in the past. He helped me walk away with the car that I wanted. He answered all my questions even when I left. The whole process took about 45 minutes and after service was complete I asked Blake to show me how to use a few features in my truck and he did. Your waiting room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Coffee was good too.

I always do my research when buying new cars, and have bought many of my cars sight unseen from out of state. I've had my new 2020 GMC Cierra for less than 6 months. It wouldn't start several times and now it's in the service department for computer issues for the second time. This is the worse experience. The poor customer services here only magnifies the issue. If you're going to by this poor performing truck and least go to a dealership with quality service.

Went in to get a rough estimate of what my payment would be with my trade it (negative equity) the salesman acted as though he was not fully listening, I knew all the info he needed but kept asking to run my husband's credit (we also knew the score). He was pushy, I wanted to take a day to rethink and gather my thoughts, but he wouldn't take that as an answer. He made my husband very frustrated too.

I bought a used car($45,000) on last week, June 20 at Gateway Buick and the main point I was really disappointed was that the floor mat was disappeared after it was sent for car detailed which happened after the purchase. There are other things to be taken care of and I have asked the dealer to drive the car to my house. After the car was drove by him to my home, I found there was no floor mat at all. I raised my concerns and I told him I saw the floor mat was there, but he said he didn't. I have asked to see the car photo on their website to verify the floor mat was on the car, but the car in the web site went down because the car is sold. The dealer I worked with keep saying the car is sold as it is... I know and I understand.. but what about the thing missing which it was there? It is a matter of courtesy problem on Gateway Buick GMC.

My experience was PAINLESS! I was afraid of the car buying process because of the horror stories I have heard. That was not the case in my situation. Kenneth McKnight made the process seem almost effortless for me. It felt like the only thing I had to do was show up and test drive my vehicle, sign a few papers and I was driving away in my new beautiful Buick Encore! Stay away from the service department
I called at 1:30 to check if there was an available service appointment that afternoon or the next afternoon to bring in my 2014 Sierra for an oil change as part of the dealer service plan. I was offered an appointment at 2:00 that day and brought the truck in. After waiting a hour an a half, I checked to see how much longer they expected it to be. Turns out they had not even started on my truck, said it would be another 45 minutes. I told them forget it and to bring my truck back out. One gentleman in the service department tried to apologize and said they had a service technician out and they were short that day. I told him that is supposed to be the point of making an appointment. Its not like he left between when I called at 1:30 and when I showed up at 2:00. Now I am an hour late back from lunch with no lunch and no oil change. Basically if you value your time and quick considerate service, stay away from this service department. There is a reason I went somewhere else when I purchased my new truck and this experience has reinforced that decision.

My experience at Gateway Buick GMC .... Well first of all Anthony Baltazar was great he really knows alot about what he is selling and is really helpful he goes Above and beyond to help you out. Iam a first time buyer and as always things are harder for frist time buyers but he did everything he could to get me my new gmc terrain 2015 ! What I like about Anthony Baltazar is that he can always answer my questions and listens to everything I ask and he follow up whit you even after doing business.
