I brought my 2011 Buick Regal Turbo in for oil/filters change and to solve an ongoing issue with the passenger side headlight...Blake was awesome in every detail, keeping me informed and shepherding my car through the process and returning it to me ready to go..

You know, people constantly complain about "their car dealership" as if they go to war with them when the drive into the service bay. I am confused by this and simply tell them, "the problem is your going to the
WRONG dealership!! Go where I go, to Gateway GMC-Buick, they treat you like a friend, and friends treat you right. I have only had exceptional experience with Gateway Buick, maybe its time you changed dealerships!!"

My daughter bought a brand new GMC Sierra truck from Gateway. It was paid for in cash so the inside transaction was easy. Had to take it back a couple of days later because there was a problem with the lights. They tried to tell her its because the lights run hot so they create moisture inside. The headlights do not run hot, they just didn't want to replace them. Also one of the front tires rubs the wheel well liner and they were only going to cut one, not both. It would look bad if they were not both cut. The new lights came in and my daughter went up to drop off the truck. She was treated poorly.....maybe because of her age. Should not matter, she is a CUSTOMER!! Not very professional. The service department treated her like she had no idea what she was talking about. She had to explain to them again what they needed to do. She received her loaner car and was told not to smoke in it (she doesn't smoke). When she opened the door, the inside stunk of cigarettes. Did they even check out the car before they gave it to her? Not good customer service. I told her she should have purchased her truck at a different dealership, one with much better customer service. I would return the truck if I could and purchase it elsewhere. Never taking it back there for service.

I went into Gateway just to kind of look around and check out som. e options on maybe trading up. Greg was very kind and a very good listener. He wasn't pushy at all. He got me the best deal for my trade in and help me up grade to something that fits my lifestyle perfect. It was a good experience especially the part in not dealing with a pushy salesman. Once all the paperwork went thru Carlos went over all the paperwork with me and he explained everything very well he was great to. There was another guy working behind the scenes he popped in the office when we had an issue with the loan and fixed it so that made him absolutely great also, even though I only saw him for a split second. Great Experience will be recommending to all

I bought my husband a new 2020 GMC Cierra for Father s Day. We were so excited because it s a beautiful truck. We are so disappointed with the level of service we ve received from this dealership and the performance of this expensive vehicle. My husband has found himself stranded because several times the truck wouldn t start. We dropped it off to the service department, they changed the battery. It s currently in the shop and second time (computer issues). It s been a week and the service department had the audacity to ask us if we wanted to pay for an oil change. This should have been a done as a courtesy!!! Please see the complaints online about this vehicle before proceeding!

Horrible service all the way around. Waiting on floor mats for 3 and half hours after having to pry the mats out of the sales man. Couldnt even stay on subject for five minutes during the sale without trying to purchase my other truck from me off the books for his brother. The Spanish sales man told me and I quote "I hate dealing with Mexicans they never have credit and always want the best deals. They never have credit and just waste my time." Held extra key and fob until I gave them the spare to my Cadillac. Within 5 minutes of waiting for my floor mats two gentlemen were talking about there brand new purchased Buick. He came to pick it up from service and the bay door crashed slamming the hood of the vehicle. The other gentleman replied with he had an appointment on Saturday, came an hour early and he wasn't even on the schedule. From the top of the food chain, this so called managing partner Charles, all the way down to the bottom this place is a sham. If you want to waste time, get taken advantage of, lied to, and made fun of please visit this dealer. Go straight to the owner and see how things are run. He is the lead chief in this horrible establishment. You will be talked to like gum on his shoe.

The service that Anthony Rainey provided was excellent. He was courteous and not "pushy" for a sale. He gave us the opportunity to explore our options with the vehicle that we wanted. We felt like family there and Anthony made the sale go smoothly. I will recommend family and friends to Gateway....to see Anthony of course. I found my own lender and financing. I found the vehicle on the dealer website. I spoke with Larry Muller, salesman, with whom I had previous purchased vehicles. I was comfortable purchasing online because the vehicle was GMC Certified Pre-Owned with a Warranty. He helped narrow down the final numbers before I arrived. I test drove. I found a couple small details that were placed on the "we owe" list. Pretty simple. The best part of the experience was streamlining so I wouldn't be spending time waiting at the dealer. Also the followup for the "we owe" list is important. The we owe list items were completed efficiently. Thanks for a good experience again.

I visited this dealer earlier this week to look at a truck and was told that I would get $11,000 off of MSRP. I went back with my wife a few days later to buy the truck and was given a price breakdown with an MSRP of $47,000 with $6,200 in rebates. I asked about the $11,000 off and the salesman went and took care of it. He brought me back a new form with the same VIN. The new MSRP was $53,000 and$11,000 in rebates.

This dealership constantly has deals on both kinds of inventory (new and used) my family has purchased cars,suvs,vans, trucks from gateway all ways treated us right. Kelvin Arellano helped my family and I get in a preowned yukon in about 3 hours this guy was helpful, attentive, not pushy at all which I liked the most and all around good guy. Consider gateway for your next purchase.

The sales experience was exceptional and Gateway was very diligent in cashing our check for the car we purchased and paid cash for.

Now we are trying to find out when our tags and title will be available to pick up and the accounting department and dealer receptionist have hung up on us twice and have been uncooperative in answering our questions. They have refused to connect us with a manager type individual and instead place us in a voice mail loop.

I work in the medical field and treat my customers with the utmost respect and courtesy. If I have a patient that is uncooperative, I STILL provide the absolute best service that I can provide. It is my job.

Unanswered requests, unanswered phone calls, non return of phone calls, and we are still waiting for an answer.

Just all around a bad place to do business with. I tried to buy a truck there and they told me one deal over the phone stating that the contract was written up just come in and sign. Got there had to wait for an hour for them to come back and say that they needed me to do things I told them I did not want to do. But tried to pressure me anyway. Also bought parts from there as well never got them and was never refunded was actually doubled charged and the parts department could care less about correcting the issue. Over all just bad place to do business with and the management and owner could care less they are just about ripping people off and don't care about doing business the right way.

Loved this place. We went at 8:30 on a Saturday night and the salesman that helped us was very friendly and helpful. Brad Carroll went above and beyond to help us get a vehicle. Everyone was helpful and friendly no matter the time. Marcia in finance spent a lot of time talking with us and they had to work until 11:30 with a smile on there face all the time. We picked the New GMC Terrain up on Monday and Brad was there to show us all the bells and whistles. Thanks Brad and all at Gateway Buick GMC.

STAY AWAY FROM SERVICE DEPARTMENT! We have taken our 2012 Acadia in for service several times. The vehicle has less than 65K miles on it yet we've had to change the water pump, fuel pump and two catalytic converters. While these could be results of GMC's crappy manufacturing, it did not help that after the last service Gateway's service department gave me our car back with TWO Freon leaks! They had the car for a week and tried to tell me I must not have noticed the leak before I dropped it off (after they drove it 100 miles). We live in Texas, I would have noticed if my AC did not work. I took the car to two different mechanics and both told me it had to be caused at dealership. I tried dealing with assistant service manager who was rude, tried to put words in my mouth and basically told me I didn t know what I was taking about. I called the service manager several times and emailed him but he never even had the decency to return my phone call. The service at this dealership is awful!

Honestly becareful with everyone this dealership tricks you different ways to buy a car I bought a dem 2018 GMC Sierra sign the papers with financial actually the first door by the last truck on you right when you first entrance. sales person didn t want to wash the truck because it was too late supposedly so I took the truck home sign the papers my truck was actually the price of $45k and my payments were $628 so I decide to take it home because was a good deal and next day I notice the front window was already giving crack but I knew something was weird since they refuse not to wash the truck until the next i mention them about the crack the only thing they said we cannot do anything sir since is already out of the dealership tell me why didn t wash the truck cause I could of find out the same day about the crack ! Also i had sign the papers my payment we re going to be lower to they raise them up to $735. tbh was the more terrible sales I ever got for been my first time buying a car. Trickers

Gmc service dept. Is terrible. Dropped off my gmc acadia. 4 days it took them to call me about my car. I have transmission issues. Thinking it was the wave plate. When i called they told me it wasnt. Which i dont believe because they gave me no explanation. Just said it would cost over 4,000 to rebuild. Which is total b.s cuz any other car shop will do it for 2,000 or less. On top of me having to pay them 95.00 to tell me i have a transmission problem. That i already knew about. They didnt offer me any finance program.. which they claim they have. GMC does not take cake of their customers. Mind you this car is used, however i have only had it for 3 months and only 1 previous owner. And it has 80,00 miles on it . Still they were no help. Do not even buy from GMC!!

SALES MANAGER TRIED TO ASSAULT ME TODAY. -UPDATED AT END

During a conversation where I was trying to purchase one of two lifted Sierra Trucks from Gateway GMC's lot today I was cussed out and threatened by the sales manager on duty who's name is Aaron or Ayron not sure. He has a scar on one cheek and had a bandaid on the other. I was simply trying to get an explanation of what the differences were between the Texas Edition Sierra SLT and the Premium Plus SLT. The sales manager tried to lie to me and say there really wasn't any difference. When I pointed out that one had a spray in bedliner he said, "Oh well we can add that", and that other than that it was the same truck. I then tried to show him how one truck has LED turn signals in the front and the other one didnt and he said "Ugh you know what.... then turned to walk away." I told him not to get mad at me that he clearly didnt know his product very well and I just wanted a straight answer about what I was buying and then he started cussing at me. I fired back and then he started mumbling some kind of threat and started walking quickly toward me. One of the other salesmen intervened and held him at bay. When I asked to speak the manager immediately I was told that they guy who had just cussed me out was the manager. The vehicles I was looking at on their lot today were Stock#G9035 and #G7937. The salemen contacted me to apologize and has promised to make things right. I am quite certain that is impossible now.

Salesmen just called back to apologize on behalf of the manager, explaining he manager got upset because he thought I was accusing him of lying and wanting to see what they could do to make up for it. I will update this post with the results!

Sales manager called back and apologized profusely for the way things unfolded at the dealership today. I must say as upset as I was when I left today, it took very big man to apologize in the manner that he did. We are currently working on salvaging something from all the time that everyone involved has in this deal. Will update further!

FINAL UPDATE 6/28/2018

Following the above experience I actually went back to the dealership as they promised to make things right. When I got there they came out with a new offer that included lowering the amount of money they originally offered me on my trade. That was the final straw. All and all I am thankful for the terrible service I received at Gateway Buick GMC because I spent the last week working with the amazing people at Audi Dallas and am now the very proud owner of the Audi Q7 Prestige Edition. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE ABSOLUTE SCUM BAGS THAT WORK AT GATEWAY BUICK GMC!!

I cannot say enough good things about Gateway Buick and it s employees! I have bought two vehicles from them (pre-owned and new) and both times I have had amazing experiences. Thank you to Jesus for working with me on getting the best deal possible on my new 2018 Buick Encore. He is incredible and makes you feel very comfortable. I never felt intimidated or pressured like I have before in other dealerships. Everything was explained very well and 3 weeks into my purchase, I am still bragging and recommending them to anyone who asks me about where I bought my vehicle. Thanks so much to them for everything.

I still don't have my car back. Dropped it off on Monday afternoon (for a continuing issue with the back seat) and they just broke the seat apart today, Friday. I had called them yesterday, left a message and no one called me back. Called them today, left message and got a call back to let me know it would probably carry over until Monday.

Not to mention the issue with the warped rotors that I HAD TO PAY FOR even though it's at 23K miles and still under the bumper to bumper warranty. To be fair, Omar Fernandez has been very nice over the phone and in person. I understand that he is the contact person who relays the information he is given but I was disappointed on the actual timeline and delivery date. An entire work week went by and my car just sat there until today.

My wife and I went to several dealership (Buick)Heritage, classic, swells, Ewing, and no one gave us the treatment as the staff at Gateway. Robert came out and explained the car in detail to told us he was going to do thing the right way (him not knowing what we had been subjected to with the other dealers) offered us to test drive the Buick Lacrosse, in which we did we then went in and begin the paperwork to get our credit and financing completed we left and went home fingers crossed were called back in an hour to come in and pick up our new car. it was this simple after running around to the aboue car dealerships for 3 weeks it took a matter of a few hours to get a car financed and drove home the same day with it these guys rock and are spirit filled and treated us with great respect we will truly recommend this dealership. thanks again for the new ride. If I could give this place zero stars I would. They are crooks and if you have any other place you d like to buy a car please go to it. My daughter s first car purchase experience was trashed because of them. They sold her a used Chevy Cruze and on the way home from the dealership the car overheated they supposedly fixed it and here it is again not even 2 months later overheating again. We wanted to trade it in and get another vehicle for my daughter and they told us she d have to start the buying process over again with another down payment on a different car and new contract. The repair isn t covered on her warranty and it would have had to been repaired for over $400. We called someone we knew to tow it off the yard because we re having to take the car to our own mechanic. They still had the audacity to charge us $95 for a diagnostic of the car. $95 for a piece of paper that tells you what is wrong with the car! My daughter is in college and working she can t afford to have such high costing repairs especially because the holidays are coming up. This dealership failed to take responsibility on this issue and handled the situation very poorly. Never buying a car from this place ever again!
