Excellent service, Thanks Eddie Vargas for the help. I didn't know that I could buy with itin and with a passport and they helped me in Gateway.
Eddie Vargas is very kind and gave me a very good deal. Tania Hermandez referred me to is to see Eddie and the truth that Tania was right because Don Eddie was asked to approve me. I recommend Gateway and Eddie.

Women BEWARE! Gateway was THE WORST dealership I ve ever dealt with. I went alone since my husband had to work thinking it wouldn t be that bad but I was WAY WRONG! First round of negotiations with Bill and his finance team they started out with the MRSP price. I told them no, here is the advertised sale price and that s where we start. Bill didn t seem to like that.. maybe he didn t think I did my homework on the truck.. so he went back to his finance guy & came back but had added in ridiculous fees and low balled my trade. I told Bill no, that wasn t going to work and try again. He snickered at me, shook his head and said things like it s just simple math . He went back again and he came back with an even more ridiculous offer- Bill and his team at Gateway obviously didn t take me as a serious buyer. I m sure if my husband had been with me, he wouldn t have treated me that way, saying thing like maybe it s too much car for you . But this NIGHTMARE gets better.. when leaving I asked why they gave me such a low offer on my trade..Bill told me it was in excellent condition except for that long scratch down the drivers side. I was shocked to go outside and sure enough they had put a 24 inch scratch down the drivers side door which WAS NOT there when I drove it in! Extremely upset, Bill told me yes it was there, Amy . Back and forth he was arguing with me outside the dealership until I just LOST IT!! Then all of a sudden he gets a magic solution and buffs it out!!! Never in my life have I seen a tactic like this used to low ball my trades! It was some type of black rubber compound to make it look and feel like there was a deep scratch on it. No apologies from Bill he just said it must have rubbed up against something back there. So upset at how I was treated I told my husband who emailed there general manager Jamie Juarez, with no response from him either. So save yourself money and a big headache and drive a little further down to HERITAGE GMC in Rockwall. They reasonably negotiated with me, gave me $3k MORE for my trade and I got exactly what I wanted!!
This incident happened 9/5/18- and never heard a single response from them so this must happen often with this dealership. I know companies pay for reviews but this one is for FREE! I would like to tell Bill, Jamie and the finance manager that yes I do know how to do simple math I am a CVICU nurse so I use simple math daily and I would LOVE to send you a copy of my bill of sale from Heritage GMC Rockwall so you can see exactly what you laughed at.

We found the exact truck my husband needed for work with Miguel - all because I stumbled into the wrong lot and he was so kind to help me find where I was going I had to go back and see what they had! Everything happens for a reason. He was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. He made this the easiest most pleasant buying experience we have ever had. From the minute we walked in the door to working with Don in finance everything fell in place without making me want pull my hair out which has NEVER happened before when buying a car! Thank you Gateway and Miguel for restoring my faith in car dealerships and their ability to not make you jump through hoops to get what you need!

We just bought a 2015 GMC Terrain last week. What a wonderful experience. Bill Lavender and Robert Pope were great people to work with. Very patient and not pushy at all. I would highly recommend this dealership to shop for a vehicle.

Mr.Bill Lavender was GREAT! This was the BEST ever automobile buying experience I have EVER had! I will highly recommend Mr.Lavender to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable! So thankful he called me when looking online for my new truck, which I absolutely LOVE!

Salesman Marcos Flores was polite at first but ended up being extremely rude and pushy towards us. During our negotiations with pricing and monthly payments he decided to describe our math as mexican math . We then decided to move past that racial slur and continue negotiating. He also brought up his personal house payments which we had no interest in knowing about. Once we came to the decision of no longer being interested in the deal, he accused us of not being ready to buy even though clearly we were looking to drive away with a new vehicle that day. As a first time buyer, he tried to take advantage of knowing that fact. Word of advice, look for a different dealership.

I bought my 2016 Jeep Patriot from Gateway Buick G...

I bought my 2016 Jeep Patriot from Gateway Buick GMC last May and wasn't too pleased with the patronizing behavior I was met with but it was a decent deal for the car I wanted including an all right warranty and brand new tires according to my salesman so I proceeded with the sale. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when I go to a Discount Tire to have a flat repaired and I find out that my tires are completely shot. I immediately thought there must be a mistake since Marcos Reyes insisted they were brand new tires at my test drive but I had my tires checked again and much to my chagrin, it was confirmed that these were the ORIGINAL tires. Marcos had LIED TO ME. I typically never post negative reviews (only positive ones) because I always go to the establishment first with complaints so they have a chance to rectify the situation; that being said, I spoke with Jaime Juarez, the General Sales Manager, about the situation and he refused to do anything to right the wrong that his salesman, Marcos Reyes, committed. PLEASE do NOT make my mistake and buy your vehicle from people who LIE to close a deal.

Don & David were both outstanding! Their patience ...

Don & David were both outstanding! Their patience even when we initially were only test driving but were interested in a used car elsewhere all the way up to somehow buying a new vehicle from them was amazing. Even after we nearly bought one from them the night before Thanksgiving (but held up cause we wanted an additional feature) & ended up the day after the Holiday on our way to another dealer. While on our way David called us to verify the exact features we wanted. He called back 20 minutes later to let us know he'd located & obtained one! We were able to literally turn around immediately. They were aggressive & fair on our trade in allowances & matched another dealer's price on the one they had to obtain! Just phenomenal service & we're thrilled we were able to purchase from them. Highly recommend these guys!

I had an emergency and had my vehicle towed to the dealership. The next day I received a call before a could call them. Discussed the issue and plan of attack. Mario my service manager was honest and forthright with the expectation of repairs. When parts were available he had them. Promptly installed and on my way. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

Was shopping online for vehicles. Saw a pop-up from Gateway Buick GMC about a lease and sent in an inquiry. Bill answered my inquiry but started asking me questions I thought he should know about the lease - it was their pop-up that I saw. When I said it was sad he did not know about the advertised lease, his boss, Trevor, the new car sales director sent me this E-mail:

Hello David,

My name is Trevor Horton and I'm the New Car Sales Director here at Gateway. The add that you are refering to is on a Denali Sierra not the Yukon. That add is for 36 months $539 per month 10,000 miles per year with $4000 due at signing.

It's sad that you didn't read the add right.

If you want good customer service, I would not recommend this dealer.

After visiting more than a dozen (12+) GMC dealers...

After visiting more than a dozen (12+) GMC dealerships, vis PS or in person, I was contacted by Sales representative Randy Morgan, Gateway Buick and GMC in Garland (near Dallas), Texas. I was advised that the truck of my inquiry (a very specific and detailed vehicle) was at his dealership. Mr. Morgan negotiated the price over the phone (something other GMC dealership sales representatives refused to do), advised me of all my discounts and even took photos of the 2015 GMC Sierra Denali crew cab truck and texted them to me, all within a very short period of time. I sensed that I had his undivided attention. Mr. Morgan returned phone calls and texts in a timely manner and assured me that the truck that I was looking for was at Gateway Buick and GMC. I traveled to Gateway (from Houston)arrived at the dealership at 7:30PM, test drove the vehicle and decided to make the purchase. Mr. Morgan was the most knowledgeable salesman I had encounter during my eight (8) week journey looking for the right vehicle at the right price. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a GMC Sierra Denali to purchase it at Gateway GMC and insist on salesman RANDY MORGAN.
