I sent my OnePlus One to Futuretel because the screen was unresponsive. They replaced it and shipped the phone back to me in less than a day and a half. I would rate the service 10/5 if possible!

So bad. First I send phone in informing them I have a cracked screen. They then said warranty will not cover it and the won't send my phone back unless I pay the 35$ because a technician looked at my phone. There was nothing to inspect I told them the screen was cracked.

Its been 2 months I send my phone to repair. There is no mails and no notifications. Every time I called them and it is like I am doing the repire. I paid $169 for the repair on last month. This is not a good way of doing business

Was hesistant to send my phone here for repair (LG G4 stuck in bootloop) after reading the reviews but decided to go for it. Polite customer service, had my phone back in about 3 days. Cant speak for the others but had a good experience myself.

Terrible repair service, I had to send my Huawei 4x phone because I have a microphone problem, to be told every time there is no problem. I'm just waiting to finish my contract and more Huawei for me.
And there a second bad experience with a new Samsung tablet sent for repair (the wifi is constantly falling) the UBreakIFix technician saw the problem himself and sent for repair. Again, they do nothing and return the tablet saying no problem.

My luck is that I bought it from Costco and I could return the Samsung tablet without any problem and buy another one. I am lucky to have had an alternative because this repair service is really bad.

I used chat in Samsung website to let them know that my Note 9 screen had a weird yellow tint on 3/4 of the LCD. My phone is still under warranty, so they sent me a shipping label to send my phone to this location. I was extremely busy with school and family that I forgot to send it until the week after, and I was leaving on Thursday. I emailed them if it was possible to have it sooner, and they said they'll do whatever they can.

I mailed on Friday after pickup, so Fedex sent out on Monday after 4pm. FutureTel received it Tuesday afternoon, fixed it on Wednesday, shipped it overnight and I got it on Thursday! My phone feels brand new, LCD is replaced, and I got to enjoy this phone on the trip!

Love this company for fast service and quality replacement service.

This is by far the worst experience I ever had. Don't understand how LG decided to be partner with this company for their repairs. The customer service is not reachable. The service is super slow.

We have sent our LG Nexus 5X phone to futureTel because of BootLoop issue. They have given a quote of $578 to repair it. Funny thing is new Phone cost is less than repair cost. If you don't respond to their email with in 30 days , they will recycle it . Good luck with your phone .

I cannot begin to express the frustration of being tossed back and forth for some simple information. I called in today and had such a wonderful experience with Vanessa. I believe many service representatives should get some tips from this individual. Thank you dear for all your help.

I sent in the phone for repair through LG for a boot loop issue (LG denies that a boot loop issue exists in the G3 model lineup)

Misdiagnosis of my LG G3. Email from FututeTel read LCD, motherboard and battery were ALL faulty. Here is the kicker, I'm a phone technition so I know very well my battery (brand new one used before sending in) and LCD including the digitizer were perfectly alright.

Extremely overpriced $612.81+tax in November of 2018. Brand new LG G5 cost that much at the time.

These Guys fixed my One plus 3T screen.

These Guys fixed my One plus 3T screen.
A total of 5 day turn around, from initial contact, over night shipping from Alberta, and fixed and shipped back.(way under the expected turn around time) Price was very competitive, and phone is so far working perfectly.
Could not say a bad thing. Thanks!

Do not send warranty work here for samsung they will rip you off!
Rodeo dr mississauga is an amazing place for samsung warranty work the best warranty work is usually done by your phone carrier as they are on your side fighting on your behalf.

FutureTel has an extremely inconsistent approach to repairing smartphones. They were charging me $92.16 to replace the battery of a LG G4 (please check the picture I posted) even though my device was under warranty (which again they got wrong as you can see in the photo). I did not tamper with the device before sending it to FutureTel and the battery was perfectly fine when I was using it.

The main issue was the LG G4 boot-loop issue which is a very common issue on the G4 (shame on you LG for releasing such a poorly tested device). So basically, FutureTel said that if I do not pay for the battery they will not fix my phone at all which is absurd considering the battery in this phone is user--replaceable and cannot possibly cost $92.16 to replace. I now call LG and ask them to talk to FutureTel to eliminate the quote I received. LG gave extremely bad customer service as well and were not willing to help me out initially. Finally, I had emailed LG my proof of purchase and and they provided me with an approval number. LG said to give it to FutureTel so that they may repair my phone completely under warranty (which included the battery).

Now, I call FutureTel and they said that they cannot fix the phone under this approval number since it doesn't cover the battery!! Since they would not replace the motherboard of my phone (again because of the boot-loop issue) without having me pay for the battery, I had no choice but to call LG back. So, I call LG again and then told them what FutureTel told me. They got all confused as to what was happening. Mind you, I had to make all these calls during business hours at work and spending several hours on this. At long last, the LG rep told me that they will ship to me a brand-new battery for the LG G4. LG would get FutureTel to return my device back to me without attempting any repairs to it. I would then have to insert the new battery into it and then send it back to FutureTel!!

I mean why wouldn't LG send the battery straight to FutureTel! This is absurd! The lack of coordination between a multinational company, LG, and FutureTel is unreal. I am now awaiting the new battery and my LG G4 from FutureTel and will post an update.

DO NOT TRUST FUTURETEL AS THEY WILL DO THEIR BEST TO RIP YOU OFF!! (Even the iPhone costs $100 to get its battery replaced and it doesn't even have a user-replaceable battery and you get extremely good customer service). I am extremely fed up of both companies customer service at this point and told myself to never buy an LG mobile device again.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. LG is also at fault for this but I found working with FutureTel to be extremely useless and a waste of time.
I would never recommend their service to anyone unless there was no other alternative and they were bound like how I am. They are greedy money grabbers. TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!

P.S. If you cannot afford the repairs, FutureTel charges you $35 for sending the phone back to you. That is again absurd!!

Terrible company Sent in a device to get the battery replaced and they billed me for parts that were not needed to be fixed and they wouldnt do partial repair. And even if you don't want it to get repaired you will still have to pay them. Also the device was sent back because the screen stopped working and sent it in free of charge for repair. And received it all scratched on the screen.

Edit. After 8 months device begins to have the same issues

I encountered a boot loop issue with the LG G4. As the phone was still under warranty I was instructed to send it to this service centre for repair, specifically for the motherboard to be replaced. I must admit I was scared when I saw all the negative reviews but my experience has been awesome. It took exactly a week from the day I sent in the phone to have it repaired and sent back to my home address (and I live 400+ km away). It works perfectly now.

I had to have my LG G2 sent in for repair (via Rogers store). It left the store on a Monday and was back the following Tuesday! Yes, just over a week! The circuit board had to be replaced. The phone came back in perfect condition - no scratches, scuffs, or anything negative. And, most importantly, it worked perfectly again. I was very impressed with the speed and quality of the service, especially after reading some negative reviews. I have no complaints at all.

After the runaround from Rogers, LG Canada Support...

After the runaround from Rogers, LG Canada Support assigned a CNN (their RMA) and instructed to send it to FutureTel. Dropped it off as this is no less than 10 minutes away from personal residence.

The address (570 Alden Road - Unit 12) that LG Canada Support provided was for Phone M.D. which has no direct relationship with FutureTel, but stated that they do accept LG service items which they pass on to FutureTel.

Without any hitches, the device (LG Optimus G5) was repaired and ready for pickup the next day with a replacement motherboard and a new rear backing installed.

As the G5 is still under warranty, it was a great experience.

Brought in my LG phone because vibration and mic was not working randomly. They said some part was replaced and refused to tell me what part exactly was replaced even after asking them 3 times.

Well, I don't think they ordered and replaced any parts nor did they ever open up the phone because my phone is exactly the same. Same mic issue and same vibration issue.

I was pretty worried when I looked up this company...

I was pretty worried when I looked up this company's phone number online and saw all the negative reviews AFTER I had already shipped them my defective phone. But, they received it on a Friday, shipped it back to me with a replaced motherboard on Tuesday, and I would have had it before the weekend if I'd been home when Purolator knocked at my door. Pretty good turn-around time.

My only problem with the process is that I had to call the company to ask the status of my return before I learned that they'd already shipped it and received my tracking number. And a tracking number was definitely needed considering that Purolator didn't even leave a note on my door for the "delivery attempt." So, next time shoot me an e-mail or something to let me know that you've shipped my stuff back, but other than that? Positive experience.

It's a shame their the only option for Canadians to get their motorolla mobile products fixed through the manufacturer. Had a horrible experience getting my Nexus 6 fixed(still not done yet) They do not know what they are authorized to work on, and expect me to figure that out.

I was extremely skeptical sending my oneplus 3 in to get the screen replaced because of all of the negative reviews. I sent an email with picture stating that I needed a screen replacement, they gave me a very reasonable quote and then sent me shipping instructions. I shipped out from Edmonton, Alberta and got my phone back within a week. Screen looks great, no additional damage anywhere, I would definitely use again.

Terrible service and experience with this company... I sent in my phone for repairs a bit over 2 months ago because I was unable to hear anything throughout phone calls and paid for the repair fees, the same issue started occurring again. I called in and was informed that repairs would be a minimum of $130, the person I spoke to was very rude, saw my case as hopeless and asked to why I even bother calling. I emailed my local phone repair shop and they contacted to me and gave me a solution that was easily done through a FREE app... Basically paid this futuretel for something that was not fixed, Local phone repair shop workers have better knowledge and are more friendlier than people in this company. Will not be using them ever again.

Futuretel replaced my 128gb phone with a 64gb one....

Futuretel replaced my 128gb phone with a 64gb one. They originally denied I sent a 128gb phone, stating that they upgraded me from 32gb to 64gb. After admitting their mistake they stated that I could keep the smaller phone or they could do is break my phone by putting in the non-working part if I sent them the phone again (yea right)

Terrible company. No accountability, transparency,...

Terrible company. No accountability, transparency, or proper communication. I sent my device for repair in perfect condition, and they reported a crack, which was not there in first place, and claimed it voided the warranty. On top of that, they provided me a quote that would not specify parts and labor - which defies logic.

Can you imagine taking your car to the mechanic, and receiving a quote but you don't know what is being fixed, and which work is being done?
Ludicrous.

In their words: "It is the only quotation that we can provide for customer reference. We don t have a breakdown pricing for quotation."

I am still waiting to receive my phone back; it has been 11 days since they shipped it under Purolator. I had to message them to ask for the Tracking Number, which they should have forwarded me in first place.

If your manufacturer tells you to send your device there, ask for another authorized repair centre (and read the reviews).

P.S.: LG was not a bit helpful in producing the quote with parts and labor. I have been an LG customer for 4 consecutive years. Never again.

This company is brutal, and any company that forces you to use them (Huawei, Motorola, et al) should be boycotted until they find a repair depot that is good for more than;
-making up problems that don't exist
-making it damn near impossible to speak to anyone in the phone
-taking way longer than estimated to get the job done
-losing devices outright and refusing to be accountable.

Horrible service by people working inside Phone MD (futuretel) specially Benny who is the incharge in service and repair. Its a samsung authorizd service center and i dont know how. I gave my S8 for screen repair and this person screwed up with phone earpiece. Gave back in service and he didnt find any issue with phone. 5 minutes out of store with phone and the problem was still there. Showed the issue live and found that this person glued the back cover so tight that it screwed up the phone. That is what they gave me as an explaination. Seems like the incharge of the service center doesnt know how to fix phone. Certainly don't deserve to be samsung authorized service center. I dont know for how long now this phone will work.

Been over two weeks since my repair was started, was told my phone would be shipped out 27th of October, now its the 30th of October and still nothing has updated

Received replacement phone Nov. 5, and it's showing same signs as the previous phone. Should've researched this phone prior to even getting it.

When I got my rma request complete, Samsung told me to send my package here, I saw reviews online and I was very worried. However, this is by far the best repair I have ever done. My motherboard was faulty and it required replacement(Bluetooth wouldn't work), and they fixed it in 1 day. It took a total of 4 business days from the time I sent it and it was returned to me. Service was amazing and now I have a perfect phone again.

They are the authorized service center for several big Mobile Tech companies in Canada. Including, LG, Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus, and others. You don't get to be where they are in the service industry without knowing what they're doing. I've dealt with FutureTel on 2 occasions, in both instances they were extremely professional, and you can't ask for more from a service company. I can say that sometimes it's difficult to reach a representative by phone, but that's because they specialize in digital customer service. Being able to track the status of your repair online is the way of the future. Highly Recommended.
