Here is a little information about me before I begin. I am Marine corps veteran currently attending a University and am one year away from completing a bachelor's in biology. I have had many experiences with different schools because of the military and traveling.

Majority of the reviews discuss how terrible registering for classes are and they would be correct. Not only are the staff at FSCJ incompetent, but the management have a zero ability to help with student's issues. I recently took medical terminology and was not impressed. The homework assignments through "blackboard" would continuously go down, which would make it very difficult to stay on track. As a result of the course having issues, the assignment and quizzes would be moved to a later date. I usually would be grateful, but since this course was an 8 week course it made it difficult to keep up with everything, especially if you have other courses. Do not go to this college. I understand they are one of the only colleges in Jacksonville but that is their angle. They get money from the state but do not know jow to allocate the funds. Stay away from UNF as well. Look at the reviews.

Small can be good! Much easier to navigate than UCF and FAU, from my experience teachers are better, too. Find someone in Student Success to be your guide, use same person all the time so they know you. Easier to park, find classes, but they should allow Drop/Add in first week of classes (not just Drop!)

I attended this university as an online transient student and I feel they are completely unprepared to handle any type of online course work. They funnel all calls to an online call center with techs who have little to no ability to do or explain how anything works at the university and just recommend that you make an appointment on campus. Since I lived two hours away, this wasn't an option so I essentially got stuck playing phone tag for a week before I could get any issue resolved with this University. Do yourself a favor and do not attend this institution. The staff is unresponsive and unhelpful, the online learning systems are convoluted and circuitous. It feels less like a college and more like scam designed to take your money and run you around the ringer.

Very unorganized with any type of paperwork. I had to send 3 copies of my high school transcript before it was correctly entered into the system. Each semester has atleast 1 major issue from the staff from financial aid to general questions. They will run you to every office they can before anyone gives an answer and everyone will have a different answer.

I really hate that I have to do this, but in all seriousness, I'm just going to put it plain and simple THIS SCHOOL SUCKS! I am new to the college scene, and I was excited to start my journey here. I really wish I would have looked at the reviews to see what everyone else was going through before I applied. I enrolled in 2017, and it's been nothing but hell since then. I paid my $25 admission fee and signed all of my papers , as well as taking the pert test and then a few days later, they said they haven't received any of my information or the admission fee and they wanted me to start all over. I know it's just $25, but I am a mother and $25 is a lot of money when you are taking care of kids. So they finally told me that they switched over to a new computer database and all of my information was in the old one but they finally transferred it over. But here we are 2018 a year later, and they are asking me to fill out another residency form, and they lost all of the paperwork I previously sent in to enroll so I have to resubmit..again! I was born and raised here in Jacksonville, and I have bills employment history and a mortgage to prove I live here but that doesn't seem to be enough. They have put extra things on my to do list in the my FSCJ portal, and when they realize their mistake they took it off. I had to skip out on fall and spring term because financial aid and admissions couldn't get their stuff together. It's one thing after the next with this school!!! I am really upset with the way I've been treated here. I have been placed on hold several times and hung up on. There is only one person in this school that has helped me more than anybody has, and her name is Miss Christy V. She has been amazing, and I am so thankful for her. The teachers are great, but it's just everything that goes on behind the scenes that was driving me batsh*t crazy . As soon as I can, I am getting the hell out of this school, and heading for the hills.

Update: I have to resubmit a clarification form for financial aid. This will probably take another month or so to process, so it looks like I may have to give up my seat in the classes I chose for the upcoming semester...again! Get it together FSCJ!!!

Update #2: Here we go again.. Luckily, financial aid came through in time for me to start the summer semester. However, I received an email saying they have a hold on my account because of my past due balance? I have a full scholarship, so why are they sending me a bill for almost $900???

Current online student working full time to afford school. Classes are great, very thought through, professors are on par but in all seriousness, DONT EXPECT TO GET ANYTHING ACCOMPLISHED ON THE PHONE!!! ALL student aids are overly impatient, eager to end the call, and EXTREMELY incosistant. DONT RELY ON WHAT THEY TELL YOU. The information you are told on one call will be the exact opposite on the next call. NO ONE truly knows what the h*** theyre talking about. I've spend more than 12 hours of my life on the phone with different individuals and I've NEVER been so frustrated trying to resolve simple things. Again, LOVE my professors but seriously the background operations of this school are WACK!!!!!

this school is awesome bro! I have very little loan to pay off bro. I hate how others be hating on this school!!! like yall saying that they be scamming us but you may be scamming them!!! why did yall say that this staff here is rude and don't know what they are doing. i mean i walked into the classroom the teacher just gave me some candy. they be right thou. dude i like this school and yall maybe need to be better with the staff. I'm wanting to be a state trooper so their program has helped me. ive been very good at shooting the guns at the shooting range. and the dorms are great!!!

Good luck just getting in. I m not talking about admissions standards, since this is a community college it s not that bad. I m talking about the fact that I ve turned in 3 documents FOUR times since April of 2018. It is now August 2018 and I m not enrolled for classes that start at the end of this month. At my previous college on the other side of the country, once you applied you had a representative assigned to you, who was pulling for you, no they wouldn t do all of the work for you but if you turned things in and showed effort they tried to help you out. In April they somehow never got some of the documents I handed in. In June the same documents were handed in with pieces missing, which is not true in the slightest. I ve since sent multiple emails with the documents and nothing. No one is so much as saying they received them.

First week of classes and their website hasn't worked in days!!!! So glad I took a hybrid class ugh

Books on required materials list don't match requirements of class. Books returned for refund, book required not available. Trying to drop class as I type and I'm being told I will be penalized for dropping class after cutoff (Sept 3). I only want to cancel because they don't have the book they require for the class. I requested my scenario be elevated to a higher level of management but no one seems to know who could make a final decision. This is second consecutive semester where required book list doesn't match reality. I do not recommend FSCJ.

Love this school!!! Mrs. Debra was so awesome & helpful with helping me get everything situated with my pert scores! So dissapointed that i had to transfer! The staff here was so kind & helpful! I will keep the new school I'm transferring to anonymous but I do want to mention how hard of a time I've been having with this new school! Nobody ever answers the phone there, when they do they give me the runaround, and its like pulling teeth to get a call back after leaving multiple phone calls! It makes me realize how great I had it @ Jacksonville College! If you want a school that is very friendly, attentive, & nonjudgmental, this is the one I'd recommend!

this place has the absolute worst administration I've ever seen. Requesting the same paperwork be filled out multiple time on threat of being removed from the program even though it was their mistake. requests to send information to people via email without providing their email address. conflicting emails about mandatory events, some people got it others didnt but somehow its mandatory. Every campus has a different parking pass. Provides temporary parking passes to a campus students dont have classes at. Just pathetic. Sad to see my family have to put up with this nonsense just to get towards a higher education.

This school is not bad for the price, but the financial aid department is the worst. I've been trying to get financial aid for the longest and still have yet to receive any. There's nothing due on my end they just been giving me the run around every time I call smh..

I have a hold on my account for a book that I did use for a course I was enrolled in, only to be dropped two weeks into the semester. I decided not to attend the school anymore, because I was having similar issues with financial aid when I was attending back in 2014. I decided to attend college where I reside to make it easier for myself and needed to my transcripts from FSCJ. When I ordered my transcripts, there was no issues ordering and I did not have a hold. Two weeks later, I get an email from the college I plan to attend, saying that I need to contact the school in regards to my student record. Call the school to find out its a book hold for the book I ordered I was going to receive financial aid. I decided to return the book, to only get it sent back a week later, saying all items must be returned unopened.
Your admissions and financial aid department lack serious communication with students. You don't want to help students in their post secondary education plans; you want to see them fail and take their money.
Save yourself the time, money and effort and go somewhere else.

I came here to take a few prereqs for graduate school and I was met with nothing but obstacles. Registering as a non-degree seeking person took forever and I was told to register as the wrong thing and then had to re register. Then, registering for classes I had to come in to advising so, they could take holds off my account despite the fact they had my college transcripts. I had to go in twice because the first time they did not take off the holds correctly. Advising is always full and I had to wait at least an hour to see anyone. They will not answer questions or help you over the phone you have to come in. The first week of my A&P class my professor did not show up because the school had told him he was not teaching and then did not call him when they did schedule him to teach. After all this, I left to go to St. Johns River for my remaining prereqs and sent my transcripts to my graduate program. They left off my Fall grades and now I am having to deal with that. Hopefully it will get resolved and not jeopardize my graduate school applications.

Worst college ever!! I been applying for four years now and they are still still having problems with putting me in there system. I had to do the applicantion two times for the same thing, and thats the times they accepted it. I also did the florda residency two times They had me redo it half the time because they thought something was wrong when nothing was wrong with it. The one class i took was in the campuses and the teacher was late everyday took her forever to let you bring up your grade. I then tried to pay for my next two classes and they wouldnt take my money a month early. So i couldnt take any of the classes because something came up. Then when i have been applying for a grant to pay for school ever time its something new every time. We dont have you on file but i submited it? And they hve you do it again. Now that the grant you think would have went through they hit you with long times it was only suppose to take 30 days its been 40days and now they said they dont have me on file

Sadly I have taken all my social science and won't see Professor Carl L Brewer anymore but he made me laugh plenty of time when I didn't feel good... Professor Webster, D, Stark and Comb are very sweet and willing to work with you... While Professor King is very laid back... And Professor Graham make sure he motivate you in class and in personal life! These professor's are just purely awesome!!!!!

I went to academic advising and Ms. May Mason was prompt, courteous and friendly. She was able to point me in the right direction on my registration problem and help me solve a few other problems with my financial aid.

Worst school in Jacksonville, staff ( not teachers) don t care about your college experience. This school is in it for the money. If your thinking about college, go somewhere else 1/10 would not recommend to anyone.

After having moved a couple of times during my college career, I attended my fair shared of Florida colleges. This was by far the worst. Don't bother calling, you'll often sit on hold for a God awful amount of time before you can speak to someone. My most recent hold times were 92 minutes in March and 79 minutes in October, which aren't peek months for enrollment or admissions. Also, I attended this school for two semesters successfully with no enrollment issues until my third semester when they would no longer let me register in classes because they "did not have a copy of my high school diploma on file." I asked Admissions to be sure that this is something that's required before registering for any classes, and they confirmed this to be correct. It's mighty convenient that I took classes for two semesters, until FSCJ lost my diploma. Not to mention, the staff is not knowledgeable. There have been times where I called with an admissions or enrollment question in which I was transferred four or five times until someone finally told me that they couldn't answer my question and I should try to call back next week, never mind the fact that I needed this information before the end of the current week as deadlines were at the end of that week. I have poor vision and wear glasses to correct my sight, and there have been test moderators that would refuse to allow me to enter the exam room unless I took my glasses off. Problem being, I can't see the computer screen without them. I've missed more than one exam due to this, and even a final exam. I wouldn't recommend this college to anyone. UNF has plenty of undergrad classes, more so than FSCJ; and their tuition rate is only a dollar higher per credit hour. I eat the three dollars per class just to not have to deal with FSCJ.

If I could give this school negative stars I would.
They don t explain anything and hook you for charges beyond what you sign up for. Do your research!!! Don t sign up for a school hastily!!

Great school, for an affordable price. 90% of the teachers are very nice and knowledgeable, but like everywhere else, there are some teachers that need a reality check, regarding their humility and willingness to help the students. Overall I would encourage students, which are of all ages and nationalities, to take courses at FSCJ!! They offer free tutoring, great food at the cafeteria, like mentioned earlier knowledgeable teachers. Good luck to you in your future quests and see you at school!

FSCJ has the staff of nightmares. I put a request to get my financial aid taken care of 8 days ago and they ignore students. I have commented over ten times and no one responds on the ticket! I walked into the school to get the situation handled and they said there was nothing they could do and to send a ticket or contact the one who is assigned the ticket. I tried to explain to them I have tried and they simply said to wait. I had this all taken care of months prior to try and avoid these terrible staff members who treat you like garbage. They say that they are trying to be better and we take these surveys but NOTHING CHANGES!

This school has been the worst school I have ever attend! I will happily leave this school once I finish this semester. The staff is unhelpful and sent me on a wild goose chase on a time sensitive issue. If you're a veteran or in the military just go to another school because their veteran office is horrendous. It has been one issue to another every single time and jumping through endless hoops for them. On top of everything you have to make sure that they submit your VA forms because they tend to forget about them. You'll have better luck going to PSD for a refund from the military instead of trying to get into classes at FCSJ.

Absolutely horrible school. They'll drop your classes if they haven't received your financial aid, but in reality they've received it, they just make you go through the works to get it. Horrible administration. Corruption is certainly present in their financial aid office. They "verify" your information when you've claimed Independent status by outsourcing it to some company. This process takes 10 days. Then they tell you you haven't filled out the correct forms. This is all a lie. My parents are dead. I do not need to prove that anymore than the original death certificates in the long form which I have provided. Crooked beyond belief. I don't need a pastor to confirm they're dead. Let me give you some perspective on this matter. One of the few ways you can enter the United States of America from abroad is by proving your American nationality. The obvious document is a passport for most. The other would be your birth certificate. Death certificates bear the same security features and come from the same office where my birth certificate came. How could you possibly believe you are above the federal government? Good enough to cross a border but not good enough to receive my educational funding? Please avoid this school. This will not be a pleasant experience in the slightest, no matter who you deal with here. They simply do not care. They don't want to help you, only profit from your misguided choice in attending this sorry excuse of a school. I dread this semester if I must attend.

FSCJ Kent campus has a great academic staff, who really care about the subjects they teach, but MAN their support line SUCKS!!! The actual technical support team is great. Vince and another staff member helped me as fast as they could, but i waited on the line for 45 minutes for the student center!!! then got hung up on. Now i'm waiting on the phone again!! 53 minutes and counting!! you guys need to get it together!

Not military family friendly. They will give you the run around and solve nothing. I see why I left this school and didn't look back.

My husband and I have been trying to attend school here, and the process has been horrible and just difficult. Financial aid should have been processed months ago, and we have been emailing/calling to get an answer. No one responds promptly, and we are lucky to even get a response in two weeks. We've submitted help tickets that just get ignored and never followed through with, and if we call we are put on hold for an hour. If I could personally walk to the office to maybe handle this, I would. However, we are distant learning students as we are a military family overseas. PHYSICALLY GOING TO THE SCHOOL is NOT an option for us. We've both attended college elsewhere prior, and I never remember it being this difficult to get enrolled into a school and/or have financial aid disbursed. I was really looking forward to starting school again, but I don't know if that is going to happen now. This experience has truly ruined all my excitement. FSCJ GET ORGANIZED, AND DO YOUR JOBS!!!!

theyll get you where your going, south campus is the best one. would get 5 stars but the office is slow and misplaces some paper work.

I love that there are small class room count available. I love that the teachers listen and talk to the students. I love the fact that everyone at every campus is approachable and knowledgeable. However, I have visited a few campus and every class room that I sat in I could not get wireless internet complementary for being a student at JSCJ. I always get the message, "If I could get a little closer to the router." I wish as a student at FSCJ I can get everything that I signed up for. I feel as if FSCJ gets everything we signed up for. $$$

Excellent college with a reasonable cost. Wide range of 2 and 4 year degrees. Vast dustannt learning options.

Has anyone expecting funds today (2/21) received their refund? I promise it is something with this school every semester, and I have a feeling MANY students experience the same pattern. It has been 6 weeks since classes began -- they officially end next Tuesday. Refund date was supposed to be Feb. 19 -- then they secretly changed it without notifying students, to Feb. 21-- and yet, still no refund disbursed to my account. If you call to ask about anything they tell you it's because of something THEY have yet to do.

For example, last semester they said it was because the payment had not been posted to pay for my classes (keep in mind this is after my funds were available to pay for them). I mean, geez, it's not like the students can take the financial aid and pay for it themselves! It's like the financial aid department relies on people who don't care or know how to do their darn job. I am SICK, BEYOND SICK, of never being able to rely on this school for the funds I am owed.

My advice to any students looking to apply here, please know that the reviews are not from angry students looking for $$$$. My GPA is over a 3.6 and I have been nothing but a dedicated student. In my opinion, based on the way my financial aid has been handled the past few years, feel that the school should be investigated. Also, I am looking to transfer by the Fall term.

This school/campus is terrible,because of it being in the heart of town,there is alot negative activate going on fights,drugs etc.And security are so low payed/low classed and have no professional training on dealing with people or problem solving and they are so and bored and misrable they will create a problem that is not even there,man I tell you what happen to the honor these days. My choice would be KENT or SOUTHSIDE Campus.Please save your self a headace and lawsuit dealing with this place and people.

Been calling and going to the school for months now . No one emails you back and every time you call it s s different answer. I was even hung up on once after calling 15 min before they closed . They lost my paper work and no one has answers . Don t waste your time . I m going to another school .

The school itself is good. However the financial aid department is a mess. I dont know if it's because of their recent problems with the Federal Aid people (they are being investigated), but now their financial aid process is severely backlogged, and you run a good risk of not getting aid in time. They nit-picked every little document, wanted back-up documentation to support the back-up documents of the documentation I previously provided. On more than one occasion they just lost the ones I sent and asked me to submit it again...months later. My husband and I were both planning on attending this semester. Financial Aid Dept rejected documents I submitted, while simultaneously accepting the SAME documentation from my spouse (huh???). One person there would tell me they accept faxed docs while another said they never have and I had to go in person (I still faxed and they were still accepted). I've been through the process before at a previous school and even with the new requirements, this should not have taken this long. This school's FinAid Dept is very disorganized and inconsistent - in desperate need of a streamlined process. As it is now, it is a freaking nightmare of monumental proportions. (Really...this school has invented a new form of psychological torture and if you want to go to school there, you just may have to become the next variable in their experiment). I never did get my aid on time and decided to go to school elsewhere. So word of warning: if you plan to go here in the Fall, file your taxes on Jan 31st and start applying for aid Feb 1st. You will need all that time to get the aid at the rate they are going. And GET THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE YOU SPEAK WITH THERE. Trust me, you will need it because they seem to have different ways of doing things depending on who you're taking to. Good luck.

I read that the school lost 10% of students this upcoming year and it hit them pretty hard, but truly are they at all surprised? If you look at the reviews, the comments on social media, etc you will see the loss of students is justified. They give you the run around to enroll in classes and also withhold your financial aid for a ridiculously extensive amount of time. There has never been an instance that I have not received financial aid before the 4th week of class. How do you all expect students to even afford books? Also, the financial aid office is in shambles. You will have to wait 30minutes to an hour just to get clarification on your funds. They re incredibly rude and act as though you re inconveniencing them cause you ask for assistance. If you come across this institution, all I can say is RUN.

The best school in north Florida.The faculty go above and beyond in providing instruction and knowledge. I did my LPN, RN ASN, and RN BSN in this school. There are free tutors and the tutors are very helpful. I graduated with a 3.7 GPA and with no loan. The school is affordable.

Don't go here especially if you're using va benefits.

In my experience this have been one of the greatest schools I've ever placed my children in. The teachers are caring, professional and all around Awesome.

I've been waiting for my transcripts for a month and it's almost impossible to get through on the phone

I've been trying to attend school at FSCJ since last year. Paid the application fee, submitted the application, got approved (October 2017), and ordered official copies of my high school and previous college transcripts and had them mailed to the college. I'm military, stationed out of state, so I needed virtual advising before I could register for classes: there was about a 2-3 week wait for my advising appointment. Due to the hurricane, my appointment was cancelled and rescheduled. I can't have personal electronics in my office so I missed the call. I returned the call (997-2776) numerous times later that day, the next few days, and for two weeks after that, and no one ever answered or returned my call. At this point, I knew there was absolutely no way my TA would be approved in time, and since no one ever answered or returned my call, I submitted an email requesting to be enrolled in either the summer or fall: again, I received no response. Needless to say, I've been looking at other colleges/universities to further my education and throw money at for at least the 3 years I'm guaranteed to be in the area. It really shouldn't be this hard to attend school: especially after being accepted.

Enrollment process is horrible you can barely get ahold of anyone on the phone without waiting almost an hour. When you do reach the advisors they just rush you off the phone and tell you to go online. I missed summer term and maybe fall because I can't get anyone in financial aid to actually be helpful.

Advising needs SIGNIFICANT improvement!!! More often than not I was given wrong information from advisors, which nearly made me take courses that were not needed. I also heard from many classmates that they had the same experience. Some even having to pay for classed that were not needed for their degree. I had to call repeatedly to try to ensure accuracy because I learned that I could not trust the information was reliable. This is absolutely unacceptable and is the main reason I would not necessarily recommend FSCJ.

Also, another negative impact was the fact that it did not seem as though teachers were held to any standards of responding to students in a timely manner or with grading expectations. Especially with online classes. For instance, you would have a 2nd paper or assignment due prior to the 1st assignment being graded and so you didn't know what the instructor was expecting, without having that fdbk to be able to have the opportunity to improve. One of my instructors didn't grade ANY assignments until Spring break and then she started, but was not consistent. She provided zero information on instructions for assignments, as far as what she wanted out of the assignment. We relied on our own class group texts to support us through the semester. I liked her as a person, but as an instructor, it was really difficult to go through the semester under that sort of stress.
This should not be acceptable for instructors to do this. As students, we are paying for a service and in my experience we are not getting what we're paying for.
If students are expected to have assignments in by a specific date, then it should also be expected that the instructor provides fdbk within a specific time frame to help the students learn and be successful. This lack of care tremendously and devastatingly impacts the student's understanding & expectations of the material, GPA, financial aid, and overall college experience.

I really think FSCJ really need to re-evaluate their mission to serve students.

I really wish i could give them negative stars ! This school is THEE ABSOLUTE WORST COLLEGE THERE IS! Every single department, except the book store ! The financial aid office SUCKKKKSSS! I think they are taking peoples money ! Now what School has no financial aid advisors at the schools?? We have to call a call Center and each time told different information!!!! My fedloan Services has sent the school money and they refuse to disburse my money saying it s a technical error ! I have never ever known for a technically error to last longer than a month ! This is a poor excuse for a school ! As soon as i get enough credits i will definitely transfer ! It s worth spending the extra money ! I wouldn t refer ANYONE to this institution! FSCJ you have failed me along with a lot of other students ! I now see why the graduation rate is in the 30% ! You have to do better !

Cant complain with this college. It has exceeded my expectations.

I was working on the road, moved here to settle for awhile. I just parked here because of the rain, but was told to go park somewhere else.

FSCJ is the worst school you could attend. You have to hop through hoops in order to get financial aid. I have been to the school several times in the last few months trying to get my financial aid issues addressed. Several times I was told the issue was not my fault and to wait for financial aid fix this. I have spoken with Managers Mrs Howard at North Campus, the manager at Downtown Campus no one has fixed this. Today I got a piece of mail that this debt was forwarded to collections.

Don't go into the welcome center expecting to be in and out. Very good school regardless, thats my only complaint.

Been trying to get into school at FSCJ for the past four years and it seems every time you go in to finish the process, they want you to resubmit the same paperwork you ve already completed and turned in, which means means you enter a cycle of getting together that same paperwork, waiting in the waiting room and being told deadlines are already past. They re not making this process easy or a priority. I m already so confused on what the next step is.

I missed the whole summer term due to them processing and disbursing my financial aid and student loan slowly..they said I waited at the last moment but I applied two months before summer term even started..i applied again for fall term but they still are doing the same thing so i probably go to a different school...I wouldn't recommend this school... financial aid dept is horrible.

If you plan to attend this school, keep all written records. After 2 years I was ready to move up to the Bachelor's Program. A couple of Advisers said I was possibly 2 or 3 classes short of my Associate's Degree, then they mailed me my degree. Because they decided I was finish with my education they dropped my financial aid, now I am struggling to get finished without any money.

I've never experienced a more unprofessional and disorganized facility in my entire life. In trying to apply for summer classes and after submitting all of my paperwork nobody had gotten back to me nobody notified me that my paperwork was denied spoke to more than 10 representatives getting different answers and they failed to process any of my paperwork that I submitted five months prior in December. It is now March and I am still not enrolled into classes. How do you expect people to want to attend your college if the people that want to attend are being responsible and doing their part to get enrolled but yet your facility is either losing their information putting them on the back burner and not processing it and overall not doing their job. WHAT SRE YOU EVEN GETTING PAID FOR. Basically they do not care if you attend their facility they do not care if you go to school they do not care if you get a degree they do not care about you. Save yourself the stress apply somewhere else

WORST SCHOOL EVER. They made me lose a lot of money because they kept losing my documentation and kept labeling me as an international student when I M A CITIZEN!? They have the worst administration system. I m so sad because some professors are great and work there, but the administration is horrible just read the comments don t go to this school, UNF or St. John s community college are so much better options!

Great teachers, wide range of classes. Terrible payment options! Come on FSCJ your installment payment plan is a joke. You should be able to enroll in that year around.

This school is completely disorganized. You walk into one office they tell you one thing. You walk into another or call and they tell you something different. It's all about how much money they can squeeze out of you.

I am trying to set up an appointment yet I have called 8 different numbers and all of them are busy or I've called outside business hours. It's 2:30 pm. FSCJ PLEASE DO BETTER!!!!.... THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE

Possibly one of the most unprofessional schools I've thought about attending an gone to. No one answers emails in a professional manner (rude most of the time). They don't answer phone calls and just hang up when they do. DO NOT waste your time with this school.

The registration process for school is horrible. The customer seems is horrible. Fscj really needs to do better because they re going to lose a lot of money. Trying to meet with an advisor is very discouraging & disappointing.

VETERANS FIND A DIFFERENT SCHOOL. Ever since I started with this school it has been nothing but trouble. They CONSTANTLY lose your paperwork, run you ALL over the many different campuses trying to find the "right person to talk to", they have calculated my benefits wrong multiple times and now have caused me to have an $1800 "collections" notice. The communication between staff and students is zero to none. I've NEVER had this many problems with a school. If you count on your benefits to pay mortgage or rent, or any bills for that matter they will surely screw it up and you will probably go months without pay.

Worst college to try to get into the experience was so horrible I applied online paid the $25 fee went in for advising thing. Instead of them encouraging me to join their school it was like they were discouraging me by saying negative things in the room and I felt like they didn't want me to come into their school because of my skin color. Calling into the school is also a disaster they put you on hold for over an hour and they give you the run-around. I filled out the financial aid and then they kept telling me they never received it and they kept making excuses and giving me the run-around just a horrible place to try to get into. And then I decide to go to another school and I went and applied somewhere different and they took me in right away they took care of everything immediately they were helpful they were encouraging never this school again.

By far the most incompetent institution I have ever encountered, the employees are under trained and clueless and seem to governed by the computer system that no one seems to have authorization to utilize?

Went to speak with an advisor and she asked me what did I come for. Really, I came to be advised about being a student. What else what I come here for ?

The faculty seems burned out and are always extremely rude and do not care. I kind of regret going here honestly, but it was the only community college in the area for the time being.

Two Whole Days And Still Have Not Got Anything Accomplished With This College...

I have been fighting with this college for almost FOUR semesters and have yet to take one full class because the communication skills and professionalism of the employees are lacking to say the least. No one will return a phone call, they drop classes from your schedule without any warning (no email asking for needed documentation) and when you try to get a hold of someone to figure out what is going on, no one has any answers. I provided everything that was required from me and MORE, and they could not get it together. I am Very disappointed in how this college has handled everything.

HORRIBLE ADVISING AND ORGANIZATION. I cannot wait until I am DONE with this place.
