Macy's hilltop Review

Good place to find what you're looking clothes,jewelry ect.

It's in a tough place right now but always has nice people willing to help.

I love the last act section great finds if you take your time and go through the racks.I love putting color pallets together I always find myself assisting other ladies shopping #passion for fashion #showcasing outfits purchased at Macys..

Make up section crew know their stuff. Good deals on clothes on Saturday

Poor selection and minimal available help, people that were available to help were barely willing to help. Looks like it's Kohl's for me!

Neat and clean. Staff were pleasant and ready to assist.

Pleasant customer service, timely "lunch break" transaction. Love the new Shoe Dept. layout! Much appreciation.

Macy's Richmond seems to be a forgotten site. It feels like it's become a dumping place for what other stores don't want. Shopping here is not enjoyable. Racks are so disorganized: sizes & styles are mixed on the same racks. The fitting room floors littered & dusty. Checkout process is always slow.

The gal who helped us with costume jewelry was great!

We really want to thank Singh Sethi at the jewelry department for all his help on helping us with the engagement ring we purchased. Thank you again and we'll definitely come back.

Thank goodness for the salesperson Yolanda, I think that was her name she was nice however the store didn't have much merchandise that I liked and I had went back a few hours later noticed that I was being watched and followed "as if " I was a shoplifting. I will never forget nor will I shop there again!

It was ok but the guy at the pick up station allowed a woman to bring a pile of clothes she wanted to purchase. That was not suppose to happen at the service desk but he did it anyway without directing her to the proper place to purchase clothes. This was a major delay for me and I didn't appreciate it. Maybe you should sit the guy down and explain what the function of the service desk.

Terrible experience at Macy's in Hilltop the associate was not friendly didn't know the merchandise I wasn't able to buy something that I already had at a gun on it because she said it was damaged awful they need to close that Macy's every experience I've had for the last 6 months has been negative

I like shopping at Macy's. However it does not have the same merchandise like concord, walnut creek, San Francisco.

No salespeople area. Had to walk across the store to find someone. Not only myself, but at least 10 others were in same situation.

It's horrible. THE CASHER TOOK 120 DOLLARS FROM ME.

Horrible customer service.

I tried to make a return at the customer service desk and I was denied. I was informed to go to the return desk. I have never encountered this problem with returning an item at any other Macy's customer service counter.

They will not allow me to return an online order item (with receipt) because of a wrong size. They told me that the system will not allow the return due to a different product number and that I have to call customer service myself.

Customer service over the phone informed me that they should have no problem with the return upon manager approval...

I DO NO RECOMMEND THIS MACY'S IF YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME.

We found good deals and with the coupons we saved about $150

Great prices, and great service! More customers on this Saturday than I've seen in a long time. I would love to see this store, and the entire mall make a comeback, just like the El Cerrito Plaza did about 20 years ago.

I went in to purchase a pair of sunglasses. The young woman that assisted me was very professional and knowledgeable (also beautiful ). I described what style I was interested in and the first pair she brought over matched what I was looking for perfectly. Also she was helpful saving me $90 by mentioning the brand (Prada) being on sale 5-23-18 great customer service!

Worse customer service. Walked around for more than an hour and no one asked if we needed any help.

Love Macy's but Hilltop location not a good one. I prefer the Concord store or SF, much bigger and so many more selections!

We always finds good deals in every Macy's store we visits. I love to check their "last act" section were you can get Tommy Hilfiger shorts for 8$ not bad right?

Store was moderately busy, yet still quite organized. Lots of coupons and discounts were available. Given the fact that several businesses have left Hilltop Mall, it's good to see Macy's is remaining.

I really got some awesome deals at Macy's today and the cashier was really really nice and helpful Richmond Macy's is the way to go

Long time since I have been in Macy's. They got almost everything on sale. 50% off almost everything and some really good regular prices. Clean store and pleasant cashiers!

Lines were long because there are only 2 registers at the online pickup & return counter. Having this new service is great but should have anticipated lots of customers using the service. If line is slow, close the register as would with regular registers, but to be restricted to only use that line for pickup & returns make unsatisfied customers & impatient spouses. Also know that waiting in line for a long time looses shopping time.

I love Macy's for being the best store stocked with perfumery and cosmetic clothing

Good customer relations and older experienced sales people. Prices reduced Friday .

Need more staff to clean and organize things around. Looks messy but only depends of the area. Walnut Creek store for example, it's amazing...

If it wasn t for the Macy s sign on the building, you would never know this was a Macy s.
I have never been to a Macy s like this one!
Lots of clothes littered all over the place, almost no staff! Huge piles of clothes on the floor near the fitting rooms. Not like any other Macy s I ever been to.
I tried to make a purchase at the main customer service counter where there were 5 registers and no staff! I waited 20 minutes and still no staff, so I called the store on my phone to get help and even the operator could not reach any staff or even the store manager. Unbelievable!
I finally went to the security alarm near the front door to see if having the alarm sound I might get some attention, still nothing!
I finally found a staff person who said all the staff had their hours cut.
Terrible experience, I couldn t believe I was in a Macy s.
The mall is in a terrible decline. Don t be surprised if this store shuts down soon!

Shoes selection is sometimes good, for other things you have to search to find a good quality/price combination.

Always like to shop at Macy's. When they have sales., OMG you can get nice stuff at rock bottom prices.

A woman came to ask the price of a dress without a line when we had about 6 people lining up to pay ... Even if they did not believe it was an hour with the cashier discussing the price that was 25% off the original price plus the 30% extra for using her Macys card .... Ridiculous ... The cashier had to call the manager to solve her problem and continue attending to those who were standing in line ... In the end the manager came and He gave all the discount she wanted and I apologized for the inconvenience and I told him and what happened to the inconvenience that we had had all of the us in line and of course he did not answer anything

Terrible service will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. don't ever ever ever go to the makeup counter. They will treat you like trash and over charge you for items YOU DIDN'T EVEN GET.

Went shopping for mens clothes and store was crowded yet staff on hand helped me out..when available..store was clean ( sometimes stores around the holidays have clothes in the isles or not put back in place and that creates for me a not pleasent shopping experience) overall in and out of store without any drama-

The place where weary hearted people try to fill the lonely chasm in their underloved souls, by buying more and more stuff, until like a homeless teen runaway in a snowstorm, finally, they have eaten enough cold dumpster pizza, (metaphorically speaking) to sate their unyielding sense of doom and sadness,.

Place is now back open with requirement of mask and social Distancing. Good customer service. Only small improvements needed for the phone system. Hard to get to the live person

Ordered online got to store waited in line fourty-five minutes to pickup. Unbelievable.

They had offers so have to be inside the mall but kids section is so disturbing dresses are all around on the floor and no one to care for, broken elevators

But ladies section was much okay and picked some good items
