They deserve negative 5 stars.

They deserve negative 5 stars.

Completely and utterly incompetent. The application process is ungodly long, the company they work with to vet you ( Hireright ) is also worthless.

I basically did my own background search by providing them documentation to correct all of the incorrect information they collected. I provided BC Forward documents to verify employers and later found out because it was over 5 years ago, their own policies dictates it's not needed. Waste of time and energy for a job that pays minimalistic and expects someone with actual compliance experience. My compliance experience is vast enough to fail them in any type of audit for failure to adhere to their own guidelines.

They're rude and obstinate and completely the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. And just when you think you've completed the process they'll throw another brick through the window. They've threatened to rescind the offer several times because I wasn't working fast enough to prove their information was incorrect.
1. Dates of education years off.
2. 3 employers who supposedly stated they had no information of my having been employed with them.
3. W2s and tax transcripts to prove something when all they needed to do was call the (Work Number) ( HR) and perform their actual jobs!!!!

I find it incredulous, this is the caliber of people hired to make sure we're worthy of a job. They all need fired!

I have received several calls for a position, the guy talking with me does not speak English, does not understand english, and is a complete waste of my time and effort. I told him I had a doctor's appointment so I would not be available for an interview and he scheduled the interview anyway. Talking with there representatives is no different then talking to a wall.

I had a similar experience to those negative reviews and writing to warn others. I received 2 calls at different from recruiters from this company. With the first one we had a long conversation what they were looking for and my expectations. It seemed fine until he asked me to email personal details including last 4 digits of SSN and copies of various personal identification cards. All this without company name provided. This was enough for me to stay away. Didn't even respond to the rest of communication from other recruiters from the company.

Do NOT work with this company; it s a Pyramid Scheme. When they call you they don t even state their organization, nor do they give you straightforward answers. Not only have they lied to me, they flat out cold called me saying they were going to put my information in with Google. Save yourself the time and effort to not work with these people. ESPECIALLY with Amtul Rafey. I NEVER gave them my number or any contact information. They search through Indeed trying to find their next victim(s). It s ridiculous how they operate. Please don t fall for their antics.

I dont trust any place that calls me for an interview that I didnt apply to. Guidelines? Audits? Pffffft get out of here. There are lots of places like this available online. It's still a complete joke but at least you don't have to leave your house to get the run around and deal with people that have no clue what their own "guidelines" are. Just look at "Social Media Evaluator" and "Search Engine Evaluator" jobs online. You can easily deal with auditors that think you are a moron from the comfort of your own home. No need to waste gas money to deal with the abuse in person.

Worst company I ve ever had to deal with. The application process was ridiculous and required outrageous amounts of paperwork. I was told different things from different recruiters on a daily basis on how to complete my background check and even after following instruction it still wasn t enough. My advice is stay far away or else you ll find yourself bending backwards trying to finish verification and get a start date. Don t be fooled by the Facebook job title it s all a joke and your not actually allowed to say you worked for Facebook in your resume according to bcforward. Huge waste of time and now I am looking for other employment and have bills to pay.

They are nice and helpful until you get assigned. Once you are assigned, God forbid you have a question or issue, you are on your own. My recruiter Teddy aka Shannon with Staff FowardF which is apart of them, would call me daily through the hiring process as it took a few weeks to get started. Once I did start, she told me SHE would be my reference point and to call/email her with anything. Needless to say, she'd deliberately ignore my voice mails and emails, and when I would call the front desk about her, they'd say oh she said she got your emails, she's in a meeting. She'll call you back. Never did. Totally unprofessional.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience . I was initially contacted by this company in May 2020. The entire onboarding process was very long, frivolous and abnormal. I was also given incorrect information which lead to me not starting the position despite the fact that I was hired by the client (Fiserv). At that time I had a part-time position so it was a let-down but thankfully I had other employment which ended soon after. Due to a need for employment I made a second attempt to work with BCforward and this time I also referred 2 candidates, both are currently working however I was told that a third party cancelled my job offer. When I tried to find out why I was told that I didn't complete the background in time. I later spoke with a direct employee of Fiserv who started he didn't see that the offer was cancelled and he directed me to speak with the recruiter at BCforward to find out what is going on. I reached out to the recruiter D.Kent via phone and email but didn't get a response. I also reached out to a few other contacts of BCforward and I was able to get a response but no clarification on what was going on. I am still waiting for a follow up. After viewing the rating of BCforward and reading the reviews, I have completely lost what little faith I had in the possibility of successful employment with BCforward. What a waste of my time and efforts.

Do not work for this place. They are evil. I was wrongfully terminated with a hostile work enviornment from their client. I filed charges with Equal Emploment opportunity commission. It has made me homeless and unemployed. BC forward and their clients have ignored me and have refused mediation to correct this wrong. BC Forward also agreed with me, I should not have been let go. Avoid this place. The CEO is a person of color which makes this even worse. Smh

I've received more than 1 call from BC Forward: Ea...

I've received more than 1 call from BC Forward: Each position presented was appropriate for their call solicitation. However, my challenges began once I acknowledged this.
To skip reading the rest of this, bottom-line from my standpoint: BLOCK/ignore/don't answer or respond to BC Forward!
1st, for those who don't exactly know how recruiters work: They don't necessarily reveal the name of the company. To my understanding, this in order for them (the recruiter) to receive credit for a hire (vs you applying directly to the company, which would cut them out of the process/credit/compensation). Knowing this, I did request to know the company so I personally wouldn't have duplicate applications - either directly to the same company or for the same position with another recruiter.
My challenges with this company are similar for each of my experiences with BC Forward: 1. Couldn't understand what the recruiter is saying (strong/nearly unintelligible accent), and 2. "Odd"/awkward wording that didn't make sense to me (lack of command of English language). 3. Most recent experience, I needed to verify the "agreement" email because I had an inkling they called me for the same position I applied directly for a company (duplicate applications make a candidate look bad).
1st time I tried to work with BC Forward, I attempted to overcome the language barrier challenges. It was almost PAINFUL for me to understand & answer "screening" questions. Countless times, I asked him to repeat the question. My attempts to understand seemed to only confuse the recruiter more. Tolerant, patient, and accepting of other cultures/accents, there's a threshold when one is trying to get a job and just wants to merely respond to move to the next step.
Concluding the "screen" call, BC F recruiter reassured I'd be kept informed. HAHA -Apparently, JOKE on me! Even being given a timeframe of response, I never heard from him despite my efforts. My thots: he didn't give a hoot about me: He was working on other recruits/accts.
1st experience with BC Forward: job description was changed - I found this out from the EMPLOYER (I called them directly): different type of license desired (so mine wasn't a fit). No call back from BC Forward explaining this.
2nd experience: Never received any response from BC Fwd recruiter following up from a submission. No idea why. As a job-seeker, I appreciate SOME communication!
My realization: BC Forward recruiters only care about positions they fill/contracts they get: They don't give a darn about WHO they're working with (potential employee/hire)- it's ONLY about whether THEY fill a position. Doesn't matter if you're human too: it's all about them/their job.
Recently called for a different position. Hearing BC Forward, I was hesitant but agreed to the next step(s). Wow, I was bombarded with calls & emails that had almost threatening undertones bc I didn't respond immediately! Hello, if you're busy in a current job and have a life outside a job, who are you to sound so threatening?! Same experience speaking to someone who barely speaks English (at least I was prepared from prior experience). Ended this nonsense regardless of my interest in the position (& yes, I contacted a different agency displaying the same ad).
I'm saying all this so others don't get their hopes up for nothing or expect that a BC Forward recruiter is working for you because they're not - it's only about their recruiter and for THEM to fulfill their required quotas/contracts. BC Forward is the primary reason why I NEVER want to work with nor will ever trust ANY recruiting company. Sucks for other recruiting companies & for my potential prospective jobs.
My conclusion of BC Forward:
Can't understand what recruiters say. Emails aren't intelligible either. Hire people for English-speaking positions who KNOW English, and hire/counsel recruiters about their approach to not be threatening to a candidate!
Hope this helps all!

So recently, BCForward found me an opportunity to follow my career path. Before I could progress any further, there was an extensive background check that must be completed, I had nights where it kept me up and @BaileyJurasevich helped me out through the whole entire ordeal. Step by step, very attentive, highly professional individual. Thank you so much Bailey for the awesome experience.
