We went to Christmas at the princess. Expensive extras but beautiful!
We went to Christmas at the princess. Expensive extras but beautiful!
We had a great visit there. Staff was excellent. We were treated like kings period only negative was the air conditioning in some of the areas was not up to Snuff. Rooms excellent, with great AC. Worth of visit
Can clearly tell from the response of the hotel that they can care less of poor experience. I own a business myself and would have handled this way differently especially if it had to do with racism and how someone was treated in my business. They basically said sorry for everything you went through but hope you come again and pay $300 AGAIN for one night. No thanks! Poor customer service skills. I wouldn't bother coming here if your a person of even the slightest color..
Attended an event, enjoyed the food, ice skaters, shopping, s'mores area including build a bear shop, the hot chocolate and fresh cookies. Wounderful family experience.
This place was absolutely perfect and very accommodating. The general manager Rob took care of our request and we were able to have the best staycation ever in Arizona. We will return even if we pay extra.
The Bourbon Steak Restaurant was absolutely delicious and perfect from food to service. Just wish we had more time to spend here to get the entire experience.
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is one of the best places to stay. The service is amazing, the property is beautiful, and the event center is perfect for professional events.
Beautiful Hotel and the breakfast buffet is amazing!
The staff is attentive, the food is good and there is plenty of space (both inside and outside the rooms)
Clean, spectacular grounds and rooms. Friendly staff and overall an excellent experience
Our family went there for see Christmas at the Princess event and really enjoyed it. There was plenty to see from ice skating to Ferris wheel and an amazing tree lighting ceremony. Our kiddo loved it! My only critique of this what's the sponsors of the event droned on for a long time and the kids seem to be getting quite restless in the crowd.
Pricey, but beautiful! Very convenient for the class I was taking
Went for the Christmas celebration, was very fun, and would be great for families and kids. Skating, rides, food and drinks. Amazing lights as well!
The service was exceptional. When the room wouldn't cool enough, they brought a fan. When I got sick, they drove me to my room and sent up water, Sprite, and ginger ale, then checked on me the next day.
FWD from wifey:
Omg last night was the worse night of our lives .... we tried to do something fun as a family and went to the Princess Resort in Scottsdale 2 hr check in wait not enough staff to hold the kind of event they had ... not to mention My husband and I walked miles just to get to our room even though I'm 20 weeks pregnant. Bell men were lazy and a jackass name chris at valllet asked me to get out of my car to prove I was staying there.... I have never been so discriminated in my life .... To top the night off we were finally relaxing and laying in bed when the hugest most disgusting roach was above us on the sealing I mean it was huge I had had enough my body was ran dry yesterday I'm emotionally and psychically exhausted not to mention we drove home at 1030pm at night !!!!!! I can barley walk today we are all so so tired and cranky for just a horrible experience..... I will give Sean the manager props for not charging us and taking everything SERIOUS AND APOLOGIZING BUT YES WE WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK THERE AGAIN !!!!!
Beautiful place with gorgeous views... Service questionable. Overall, we had a great time; just watch out for the bartender in the main bar area, we were off in a corner table and when he approached for last call, promptly says, "nevermind, I'm cutting you off".... We truly were just minding our own business and had no idea where this came from. I spoke to the evening general manager who said he couldn't do anything because it's a different department but offered to let their managers know. Of course, no one ever followed up, apologized, or made it right. ... Still really put off by the ordeal, we were probably the quietest couple there lol, truly no reason to single us out or worse, make us feel like we did something wrong - at a resort like this. Note, I've been here many times before on business and loved it, this was our first pleasure stay. All I can say is I've had far better hospitality elsewhere.
Everything was wonderful... Christmas holiday wonderful...
Super kid friendly. My little one loved the water works and slides. The entertainment area is pretty awesome with ping pong, shuffle board and pool. They've got about 4 different pools. The rooms are gorgeous and roomie. There is a small kitchen and decent size rooms. Definitely booking here again!
Went to see the Christmas light show. It was amazing.
Excellent resort, huge family rooms, large pools, fun kids club and impeccable service.
Explore the opportunity and treat yourself to a worthwhile experience. I will return !!!
This place is incredible! Service is incredible, rooms are very modern, well furnished and great size. Several 4 star dining experiences on site with easy access to plenty of shopping and restaurants. For the best food (value considered), head to old town Scottsdale.
I recently dropped off some luggage for some guests that we're going to stay at the Fairmont princess that our regulars that stay at least 3 times a month. When I went to speak to a bellhop you question me and make jokes about me driving around in my vehicle with people's bags and I explain to them that he was at dinner and I was dropping off their and then he asked me who I worked for which was absolutely none of his buisness. I felt like I was being talked down to and I don't think that's the way anybody should be treated especially when I was very professional during this ordeal. It essential until I left and called and talked to the same supervisor that I spoke to in the first place that what my client there customer got what was requested which was to have his luggage in his room. Is not hard to be respectful and accommodating.
Beautiful resort. Christmas at the Princess is a nice experience.
It was really nice, lights were unique and there were fire pits every where. The restaurants were pretty expensive but what can you expect? It's Scottsdale. I imagine it was better pre-covid.
It is beautiful and big!!! The employees are very nice and helpful
Beautiful facilities and rooms. Not inexpensive but the location is very good if you are attending courses at the Spears Center
Really enjoyed all the Christmas lights, the Skating rink was awesome, fun to watch the kids.I loved the train ride to see the lights. The red theme Christmas tree theme in the lobby was nice. And a display of white roses when you walk in.Beautiful room with golf course and pond view with Christmas lights. Nice outdoor bar with lots of fire heaters and fire pits and fireplaces.Had dinner at El Torro, good food and nice Cuban band
Rooms were very clean. Staff was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.
Place was packed over labor day weekend, but the staff managed to stay on top of everything, so there wasn't any delay in getting poolside service, and no long lines for food, bathrooms, etc. Rooms were impeccable and the facility is amazing (if you don't get lost)
I'm so glad we chose this place to have our company Christmas Party. There was plenty of activities for everyone, amazing views, and the food was delicious!
My stay was wonderful with the exception of one night. I was put on a waiting list (5-6 weeks prior to my arrival) for one night. I arrived on a Wednesday and checked out on Saturday. I was told not to worry and a room would be available once I arrived. Unfortunately once I arrived I was told everything was booked and I had to relocate to another hotel for that night and return the following day. It was not convenient
The hotel is a paradise. Incredible to spend a weekend consenting.
Was there for Phoenix Open, loved it. Golf coarse was beautiful.
Our first time doing Christmas at the Princess, and honestly think we've found a new tradition. My family and I had an AMAZING time. From the moment we walked through the lobby we were greeted with smiles, the front desk staff was so helpful and friendly. We were taken to our room by a golf cart since the resort is so large. Now the rooms, oh my goodness are gorgeous. Tons of space, the beds are super comfy, absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
Now for the Christmas part, this year at the Princess they had over 4 million lights, Smoresland and an ice skating rink. Now usually these kind of events can be somewhat chaotic but they had it so well organized and thought out. Again no complaints. Thank you for the wonderful memories, we'll definitely be back for more!
They Lost my reservation. Absolutely terrible. Kept us in the lobby at night with waiting for over 30 minutes to call and get the reservation sorted out at 12am while my toddlers to slept in the lobby.
This is the worst part.... I offered to just pay for the room and told them to credit me when they got the reservation sorted but the girl at the front desk was not willing to help while my kids slept on the couches in the lobby. Finus the night manager was terrible and Taylor the front desk reception girl was clueless. Customer service here is terrible. Neither of them could create a solution only more problems.
Add to the fact they left me standing at the desk for twenty minutes while the staff waited in the back room.
Last time I will ever stay at this place.... terrible.
.
Amazing place to stay at. Every single staff member was friendly and made us feel welcome. The food and pools were incredible, the "casita" we stayed in was perfect and very spacious, we will be back! If your a family try going on the weekend since that's when all the kids activities are.
Love it , come every year, van full of kids. Love my Sister Dino so much.
Best of the Best. Excellent food, best service ever.
Amenities and activities are top notch. Service is just ok.
Accidentally got routed here when dropping a friend off at a rental car place (there's an enterprise in the lobby and a full enterprise about a mile west), and it's a lovely entrance.
Richy place, nicely done. Ate at one restaurant and saw 4th July fireworks, both awesome
Outstanding is the right word for this lovely place. The Christmas days were a big treat we didn t expect. The staff from the valets, front door, desk and servers were exceptional, thank you. My best days were going to the lobby were the gentleman and his dog friends were there to greet you and make you start your day off with a bright smile. Thank you and God Bless all of you during this Christmas season, Gayle Farage
This is an outstanding resort. Everything is top notch: rooms, amenities, food, service, facilities, staff, cleanliness. The grounds are immaculately well-kept with nothing out of place and every single employee is smiling and helpful. Fairmont always has a high quality product and Princess showcases that beautifully. This property delivers at every turn.
This place was wonderful! The staff was courteous and professional and the facility was very beautiful! I recommend this hotel not only for business events but also romantic get-aways, family vacations and even weddings! I will be back for sure! Thank you!
Scottsdale Princess, what else is there to say? It's incredible! Always beautiful, always friendly and accommodating!
Nice place, but too big it's not a hotel, it's a city. Good for a conference of 300 people but not for a night with friends. We have been placed at the opposite of our friends and it is too far, impossible to find them ...
Everything was great - the only potential flaw was one of the bellmen offered to drive me in a cart to my room near casitas, but also commented that I could walk, it was only a 2 minute walk.... I had a 50lb suitcase and also a handbag with me. He did give me a ride, and they were busy, but made me feel bad about getting the ride. It was also very hot out... Other than that little glitch, everything was wonderful.
Location is kinda out of the way but service was amazing
We went to Christmas at the Princess. Great rides and beautiful lights. You can ice skate for an additional charge. Tons of firepits to make Smores. Lots of places to buy cocoa for the kids. They even have a Build a Bear on site.
The grounds are kept up so beautiful and the staff is so friendly and the restaurant was awesome.
One of the nicest and most expensive hotels I've ever been to.
Beautiful resort, stunning spa with amazing services, and the most friendly and helpful staff around
Kids LOVED the water slide! Gold Lounge and Rooms fantastic and the huge bathroom was a plus. Staff are the best in the industry.
The family and I went to Christmas at the Princess. Absolutely beautiful. The property was light up beautifully and the festivities were amazing. Lines were a little long but so worth it.
When I arrived I told the attendant I was there to check in and asked where to park. He replied "there's 6500 acres here I don't know where you're going". Obviously I meant where to park while I checked in. At the front desk I was told I was getting a room with a view of a pool. There was no view of the pool or anything else scenic from my room. When checking in I was asked which newspaper I would like delivered to my room daily and I asked for the Arizona Republic. No newspaper was delivered to my room on any day of my stay. I called about the missing paper once and the front desk replied " I think we're out". On one day I was resting in my bed in midafternoon when suddenly a worker entered my room surprising me while I was partially undressed. He said he knocked first - maybe, but I heard nothing and I wondered what privacy if any I had in my room. On the day I checked out no bill was sent to my room. The map of the facility I was given at check in had very small print, very difficult for me to read. I was very disappointed with my stay. I've had much better service at hotels costing half as much. There was a considerable walk from my room to the parking lot.
Great place for family during the holidays....Tune up the train. The exhaust stinks.
I went to a trade show for Outstanding Women of Business being held at the Princess. The grounds were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The event was catered by the resort and the food was good. I'd recommend any of the Princess conference rooms if you have an upcoming business professional event.
I was very impressed with their Spa! A coupleof friends and I booked a spa appointment to celebrate Mother's Day and we had an amazing time.
Our massages were delightful, they have a beautiful waiting area were you can relax before getting your message and then we enjoyed the pool and had lunch by the pool. We had a fantastic day being pampered. We also arrived a few hours earlier than our appointment so we could join an aerial yoga class which was the first time any of us tried this class. I fell in love with aerial yoga!
The staff is truly fantastic and our day couldn't have been better.
We will definitely be back for another Mother's Day celebration
Beautiful at Christmas. Room was nice and spacious. The grounds were beautiful.
One complaint would be that we asked an information booth how late the Christmas festivities were going and she wasn t sure.
I was there for a charity gala. I don't mind paying $14 for a bourbon on the rocks. I do mind paying $14 for Evan Williams bourbon period for that price they could at least sell top shelf liquor
Attended an event at the Princess. Lovely location and facilities.
