Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Reviews

We were visiting primarily for work, but extended our stay for some relaxation. This was our second visit to the Fairmont scottsdale, but our first time staying in the sunset beach wing. We loved our room, didn't love that there was no bath tub, that there was no option for flatter pillows, and that the sunsets beach location was SO far from all the restaurants and other pools and meeting rooms. Next time, we would probably choose to stay in the main area and just head to sunset beach pool once a day! Loved that pool! Service and everything else was an absolute 10/10!

I go here every year its beautiful, they keep improving every year too... very fun for the family...

Service was great and the Staff was very friendly and helpful rooms were very nice room service was great we are looking forward to going back again.

Good but not top tier. Sprawling property with some lovely landscaping but room was not much. And paid wifi at this price? Really? Cobblestone walkways right outside the room meant that every rolling suitcase was a annoying, at all hours.

Just came back from a fun trip to the Princess. While the property is gorgeous it is the service that makes it a standout. Shout out to Dragon, an employee who went above and beyond , to make our families stay that much more comfortable.

After an unpleasant experience at Toro that stained an otherwise extremely pleasant stay for my family and I, management spent tremendous energy learning about and educating staff on the improvement opportunities. The staff have overwhelmingly exceeded expectations and we look forward to another stay soon.

I wanted to check out options for reservations. Taylor answered and was short and curt with her responses. I've stayed at the Fairmont multiple time in different cities. It's sad I was brushed off. Now I will move on to the Ritz and 4 seasons. Very unprofessional job Taylor. Not what i expected from the Fairmont.

Take my Family every year. Its a Fun, safe place full of Christmas Spirit, Lights, Music, Joy. A Must!!!!

Attended for a conference and was very impressed - beautiful rooms, friendly staff, fantastic restaurants, and an absolutely gorgeous property. I would love to come back for a non-work event.

Christmas at the Princess is a MUST!! They have a Groupon out for it too! (A no brainer!)
I would say it's geared towards older children, as some of the rides had a 42" or 48" height requirement. But my little guys sure enjoyed the lights, train, santa, and the carousel. And who doesn't love s'mores!? I will definitely make this an annual thing.

The staff at the hotel, restaurants and spa were fantastic! Very helpful and accommodating. The resort is beautiful and we discovered something new everyday! We have been here before and we will be back again!

This hotel venue was stunning, wish I could have been there longer but I would love to go back!

What a wonderful experience! Clean facilities, friendly staff, and lots of fun activities.

We stayed at the Princess to celebrate our birthdays and it was amazing! Any issue we had was immediately fixed and the staff were so happy! We had an issue with the remote in our room and it was fixed within ten minutes, and upon checkout the front desk manager helped fixed an issue with our receipt with just one short call. They had a continuous golf cart service and their Plaza bar had the best drinks and appetizers to end the night. All of their pools and lagoon are within walking distance and have the perfect amenities , we loved the hammocks. Thankyou for such a great stay!

Stunning, large facility. Difficult to navigate until you get comfortable with the layout. Great staff.

The room was great. The bathroom was huge with an awesome tub. 2 pools with water slides. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Give Christmas at the Princess a shot -- it was amazing!!!!

We went for the Christmas event that they have. It was a lot of fun. The only thing I wish they had is maybe more options for quick bites/snacks. However it is worth the money and great place to create and charise memories.

Spent the day at spa! Love the waterfall spa treatment!

This is the second treat we've gone to Christmas at the Princess. The grounds are set up beautifully and the kids really love all the fun things they have to offer. There is so much for the kids to do... ice skating, Farris wheel, ice sled, carousel, roast marshmallows, train ride, sit on Santa's lap etc... This has become a great family tradition.

This is a marvelous resort! The spa is wow!! You must catch at least one meal at the Hacienda!

Always good service. Wish more Internet areas, areas to charge your electronics and free WiFi covered whole conference area.

This is for Pumpkin Nights: I arrived with my daughter and my friends two kids and from 6-7p seemed fine and at 7p We were on line for Spider ride and looked up and saw how many people were there and how close everyone was and masks were not being enforced at all, especially hotel guests who felt priveleged to not wear masks and be one foot or inches from me.... I am appalled at this and took a chance at a reputable place as such and thought this was a controlled environment and it was not!!!! This was a waste of money and my daughter was in tears at how many people were there and so close and we left. This was so uncontrolled and very disappointing. I m reporting this to every social media outlet to warn others like me who are concerned about health and to be involved in this new norm responsibly.

Perfect staycation or getaway. It's located in north Scottsdale and has plenty to do in the area. Just twenty minutes south and you'll be in old town Scottsdale!

We had a blast staying at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. We spent three days straight at the pool going down water slides and swimming. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were friendly and quick. Great place to stay.

Nice resort, but they have a stupid rule which you can not get in the pools when lightening is near by. We could not swim at all while we stayed here. I want my money back.

They do an excellent job at Christmas! This might become a new family tradition!

Great resort but the AC in my room was not cold enough for the Arizona summer weather. Also wifi signal was weak in my room.

FANTASTIC! We have been coming here since my son was little for all the major holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Christmas at the Princess). The way the princess treats you, and puts so much attention into each detail these are now OUR family traditions and you won t find a better place to celebrate with your family or friends. It doesn t matter if you are local doing a staycation, or coming in from out of town. The amenities and service here is the best place in Arizona and for holidays you won t find a better place ANYWHERE. I normally wouldn t mention someone by name in a review but there is one person that has gone above and beyond and truly treated us like family, thank you Stuart Diminie for excellence in customer care. If you are looking for a place to stay to relax, be pampered and have a fantastic time you will find it here!

Enjoyed everything about the Princess. The hotel and service is impeccable. The staff is very accommodating and the grounds are exquisite. We relish in the Christmas lights and decorations every year and this year was no exception. It's a must see!

My only experience with the Scottsdale Princess was strictly professional I delivered a car to employee out there sure looks like a five-star resort to me

Overall a fun experience. The lights are pretty. We went earlier and avoided the crowds. THe main reason I went was for pics with Santa. The pics are expensive and the photographer wasn t aligned and all the pics have the ugly wires and ceiling in them instead of the back drop. They rushed us through even though there was no wait so no time was spent reviewing the pics and making sure they looked ok. Would not recommend spending the money for the Santa pics.

Unfortunately my experience was a subpar one. Although this hotel is rated 5 diamond OT doesn t live up to that standard. The Gold Lounge folks are spectacular in their service, however, my spa experience left a lot to be desired. The spa pool staff is rude and inattentive and you wait for food will be over one hour. Although management apologized and went overboard trying to say sorry my day at the spa was ruined. My plan was to eat at the spa Pool and the go to my treatment. When lunch didn t arrive one hour after it was ordered I canceled it and went to my treatment. After my first treatment I tried to eat before my next and was told the kitchen was backed up and food would take 45 minutes. Well, once again not enough time before my next treatment. I went the day without eating. Adding to that was the very rude server at the pool so my spa day was ruined. I would have canceled but the cancellation policy prevented doing so. I d visit other properties in the area for a spa day if that s what your after. No way should this property be 5 diamond. Again the managers in the Gold Lounge were extra spectacular but unfortunately the rest of the property is no where near that level of service

Don't really believe this is a 4 diamond resort. All of staff was nice, but when trying to get food and drinks by the bar they were incredibly slow. We sat for over 30 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. One member of our party had to go to the bar and get our own drinks, and order chicken wings which took another 30 minutes to arrive. The room was nice, but even though check in was at 4 o'clock, our room wasn't ready until a little after 6. Overall it was a decent stay, but I expected quite a bit more from a 4 diamond resort.

I ve stayed here every year for the last 6 years. Great service. Staff is always attentive and polite. Restaurants and facilities are top notch.

Went while my wife was attending a seminar, enjoyed the grounds, had to ask for the public wifi password. Beautiful resort, great food and drinks.

I bought a Groupon for this resort for a birthday celebration and I was very very pleased, there where there ups and downs, but over all it was a lovely stay. The patio screen was broken and I wasn't able to open it and it was a lovely view right over the pool. The reception there horrible but, those are only bad specs of our stay. When I called the front office and stayed it was a birthday celebration they gave us complementary birthday bits & gave us 2 free breakfast vouchers. Every time I called for a ride to a destination for the spa or restaurants they came asap. The room was amazing I loved the glass shower. Room service was on time and where very friendly. The manager upgraded our room free of charge and the resort was so peaceful and clean. We went there right when it opened at 6am when know one was around. This is my first time going to a resort and they made it a very special day ! I plan on coming back in the winter when the Christmas lights are up and bring my family this is defiantly the best staycation & I highly recommend for family's ! There are plenty of things to do for the kids and they have 5 pools as well you'll never be board staying here it was worth every penny !

If you're looking for a desert oasis, this is it. Rooms are super nice, restaurant by the main pool serves amazing food for the price (about 16-25 per plate). Make sure you get a map , this place is huge. If your check out time is noon and you have something going on past noon they will store your luggage with a tag and you can come get it whenever you are done. Shuttles and rides are plentiful and attendants are great. Well worth the trip if you take advantage of amenities. Obviously at this price, no room refrigerator and no microwave. Event catered food is the best food made at this scale I've ever eaten.

I loved the stay! My boys had an amazing time. So many activities for children firework show, foam party, movie night, neon party!!! Definitely worth the stay.

The resort has everything my kids wanted. Their white sands area for kids to build sand castles and the kids friendly swimming pool were the reason we chose them for our staycation

We always have a great experience at the Princess, but this most recent stay has been our warmest. Our air conditioners are out so we booked our stay here and everyone working apologized for our air being out, they gave us such a warm welcome and gave us some cookies on the house. We left and forgot our toddlers pillow which is like his security blanket and his pillow happens to looked similar to the hotel pillows with having a white case (our fault for leaving it!), so we figured it was lost, but Dusko, not only searched and found our baby's pillow he also gave him a stuffed animal dog! Dusko! Thank you so much!!

A very nice hotel and very accommodating for the conference I attended.

Lots of cool stuff, many many lights to look at. Lines are quite long on weekends though.

Beautiful, private facility w/lots of amenities & conveniences. Staff is friendly & professional.
