Dream come true vacation resort, so peaceful. Best resort stay must visit
Gorgeous property with extremely kind and attentive staff. The spa is top notch and lobby dogs are a heartwarming touch.
So far our experience has been stellar! We decided to stay here after we usually staycation at 2 other local hotels. But this time we shoes the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and we are glad we did! So far it has been great, they are having a summer of fun with every day filled with fun events for both adults and kids!
Excellent stay in the hotel I recommend it if you want to go with the family and be comfortable and the affordable price at least for me was accessible not so exaggerated, I recommend it
Staff was great. Well kept facility. Will be going back again.
Wonderful resort. Lots to do. Close to highways making it easier to get around. Will be coming back
I didn't stay in a room just there for an event everyone was very helpful and courteous the hotel is beautiful
Lovely ...must return treated royally. Great staff Warren, Sergio to name a couple.:
Lovely interaction with food service staff that aided in making it a splendid dining experience.
My wife and I staycation here a few times a year. We live in the valley and love being pampered by the princess for a few days. We own and run an a.c. repair and replacement business here in Phoenix. I love your bed and breakfast special in the villas. Never have we had a bad experience. When we have our children, they love the pools and the gym. They love the pond and fishing. My wife and I love walking along the pond to get away from the Arizona sun and the serenity of it all. As always, nothing goes exactly how you plan it and if there was ever any small issue, you guys took care of it usually within the hour. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE , THIS PLACE. Thank you for your wonderful staff also. I wish I could remember their names, especially the night girl in the bar behind the main pool and most especially the girl working the main pool bar during the days. As you can see we like the bars too. Lol
Really liked the holiday festivities but it's way too expensive, I see where you can find a deal for 55$ for up to six people, but for people in parties of 3 or 4 it was a total rip off. Plus they rip you off literally. I purchased a can of coka cola for $5.40! One small can of coke! That same price I could've bought twelve for. That's why I give this place 3 stars, they know what they're doing when it comes to festivities for sure and it's a great way to spend time with people you enjoy. But definitely not a great place to spend money. The only reason I give it 3 stars, like I said, is because of the lights there were amazing and it was fun!
Just beautiful. Expansive grounds. Excellent, accommodating, and very friendly staff. Amenities are 5 star all the way.
The brunch on the weekends is not unlike any hotel chain. Self serve large families lots of kids running around putting their fingers on everything. The menu for ordering individually prepped meals was limited. Noise level was loud. The western theme was amusing. It is what it is.
Very nice rooms but few electrical outlets. Large and nicely done. Well done but big. Event centered.
Nice property but spread out so requires a lot of walking. The cobblestones and uneven pavers make it a little tricky to get around with heels on.
Facility was great... however after drunken guests waking me multiple times, i should have just stayed at a cheap hotel.
To have an experiance like this at a 5 star resort was unacceptable.
Also I was unable to eat at any of the restaurants on site becuase i had no reservation.
The room service was more expensive than the on site restaurants and charged a delivery fee and 22% of the total bill.
Honestly the only thing worth was the Christmas experiance for the kids, but that won't be enough to bring me back.
Waste of money!
It's the Princess in Scottsdale of course its 5 stars... But really if it's your anniversary or something special or you are just naturally a baller you will love the Princess. It's Classy on top of Class. Plush everything, First Class all the way.
The grounds were beautiful. The food and service were mediocre at best. Not worth the expensive price tag.
Beautiful facility. Attentive staff. My restroom didn't have a functional toilet due to someone tampering with it on a previous stay. Their staff was quick to answer my call and resolve the issue.
The lobby dogs are the most precious creatures I've ever had the pleasure of seeing! Made this work trip something to remember.
By far one of the nicest hotels I stayed at. The outdoor bars are fantastic.
The room is very nice - the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The property is nice, once you figure out your way around and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint is that the on site food is all so expensive, and there aren't many other options if you don't have a car.
Great service and food. Bugs in the room
but no big deal.
Went to attend Christmas seasonal event. Limited activities with long lines
Great experience! Beautiful property and wonderful staff. Will definitely return
Attended the cocktail class at Bourbon Steak and learned so much from Kenneth. Highly recommend this class!
Went here for a spa day with my girl friends. The spa was excellent, one of the best massages I've ever had. The roof top pool and the waterfall pool were great, I could've spent all day in there.
Fun experience for any age. Your entrance fee is by car. If you don't split the cost it can be pricey. I would suggest visiting at night so you can see all of the lights. Santa's workshop, write letters, take a selfie with an elf, was super cool. They have an outdoor skating rink, but you have to rent a spot to sit at a firepit. The rides are included with your entrance fee.
We attended Christmas at the Princess. It was absolutely fantastic! The decorations were amazing and everyone was so friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the minimum purchase of $45 to download 5 pictures of your kid with Santa (you're not allowed to take your own photo). Also the $25 for a s'mores kit seemed a little steep. All in all, though, it was a great evening out with the family and we would definitely go back.
Attended Christmas at the princess. So fun for the family. The train's line was long, but the lights they have set up are so worth it.
This is great for both couples and families. My husband and I did a 3 day staycation babymoon, but had the other kids come up one day to play in the pool. The entire experience was amazing!
The location is secluded but still within reach of some market. The property's grounds have been very lovingly maintained. Though I didn't stay, but food at the restaurant was very good with great service. The hostess and server were both great and accomodated our requests with a smile. A little pricey but worth the money spent.
Went here for the Christmas lights exhibit and loved the property, great experience
The hotel was beautiful from the room to the property. We went during Christmas time so you can only imagine how beautiful this place was with Christmas lights everywhere. They had a build a bear workshop, ice skating, & making smores. There was stuff for everyone to do there.
Pools are fantastic. Christmas lights were so pretty and well done. Highly recommend this hotel, especially around Christmas!
We did a family staycation and it was fabulous ! The rooms were great , alot of fun activities for our Grandchildren. Pools were Awesome , Fireworks spectacular. Great choices of restaurants.
Great rooms with amazing views, something to do for all ages.
Big property. The US President is here today so there s that
No one has better customer service. Time after time it's true.
It's as if they're a customer service company that runs a 5-star resort for the single purpose of creating customer service opportunities.
You won't be disappointed.
Absolutely beautiful place. All of the staff are so nice and accommodating. Truely great experience! I highly recommend it.
Awesome venue, conference facility and food was great
Staff was freindly, food amazing and the place was absolutely beautiful.
I've only been there during the Pumpkin Nights and it was a clean establishment.
Very happy I chose this resort for Mother's Day weakened. Staff was more than friendly and courteous to our family. Thank you.
Beautiful room, nice amenities. Great staff. We were here for our anniversary and the staff was very helpful and caring.
Beautiful resort. Takes some time navigating around as this place is huge. Some of the features in the room felt dated.
Beautiful resort with great customer service, outstanding spa treatments, and large comfortable rooms.
Favorite Scottsdale hotel. Christmas at the princess is always a great time.
Love this place..
Here at Christmas is awesome
This Fairmont is excellent. We dined at La Hacienda and it was excellent as well. Margarita's were perfection. 3 meals.... Everyone LOVED their meal!
Great place because it's high class and right off of Scottsdale Road
Fabulous place for a holiday visit! The event shuts down at 9pm; early for us but understandable for hotel guests! Sit in the courtyard next to the lobby to enjoy a beautifully synchronized light and music show! A holiday must in Scottsdale! In the Plaza Bar, Lauren took excellent care of us and went out of her way serve and seat us in a perfect location to see everything!!
The property was very well kept and the staff was excellent. My only issue was with the coffee maker in my room. I called to have it replaced due to a malfunction. The following morning I found that it wasn't replaced AND the coffee supplies weren't restocked either. Really disappointing at 6am after a request was made.
4/28/17 Update:
In response to my previous comments, the management offered a partial refund of charges. This unexpected surprise demonstrates a touch of class and earns 5 stars. Thank you.
The meeting room was nice, and there was plenty of parking. The food was okay.
Great resort !!! Close to everything and they have a great property !
This has always be a top 10. As resorts go this is remote and quite .
This beautiful property with excellent service is a hidden paradise in the middle of a city. Six pools, spa, gym, well manicured and pristine grounds are just some of the amenities and attractions that make this resort and spa excellent for staycations if you live in the Phoenix area or vacations if not. The concierge is helpful and courteous as are the entire staff. My only gripe would be the ridiculous parking fees, $6 bottled water and $30 extra charge for a one hour late check-out time of noon.
Came on a TZ deal for the Well & Being Spa. The facility was amazing, the amenities fantastic, and 60 minute signature massage was the pinnacle of relaxation.
Been coming here for years, and it still looms pristine! Fun options.
Spectacular hotel and grounds - great place for a company meeting! We had our annual team meeting at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and the entire event was top notch from start to finish. The hotel has excellent conference facilities and the hotel rooms and grounds are truly 5-star. We ate 2 meals a day for 3 days at the hotel and the food was outstanding.
Next time I ll come back for something a little more enjoyable so I can take advantage of everything else they have to offer.
The Fairmont Princess is the place to stay! Amazing service, great rooms(which are thoroughly cleaned), and so much to do! Great for families and couples! I go there a lot and have an awesome time! It is so worth it! Everyone should give this luxury resort a try, you will not be disappointed!!
It is such an amazing facility and the staff is wonderful. I request Darcy for my massage therapist every time. Completely worth every dollar.
Had a great time at the facility. Howver, the deluxe rooms are really outdated. Needs a refresh. Also I thought your practice of closing the water slides at 5:00 and then reopening them at 8:00 PM was bizaare. I hope you consider changing that. All in all, a very nice get away. I will be back again next year. As always, service at Fairmon hotels is very good. Good service at the lounge on one night extremely poor on the second night. Servers standing around not working the floor. Afgter a 15 minute wait we went to up to tbe bar to serve ourselves since service was clearly not happening at the tables. there for an hour and a half and not one server spoke to us. This is not how a Farimont should be.
Christmas at the princess was a fantastic event. We loved the train, the s'mores, the lights and the staff
This is about the fourth time that we have used the Princess for a family vacation - we have been there 3 times for Thanksgiving and this time for Easter. The entire family gets to enjoy the many aspects of your property - great restaurants and other facilities for the adults and not only facilities that cater to the kids, but great activities aimed specifically at the kids.
In the past 10 years we have also taken two vacation trips to Maui and found the Kea Lani to also be a fantastic property.
I have always been impressed with how well trained and how attentive the staff has been to all of our needs. I would like to mention that on this past trip I felt like a few of the staff were not quite what we have experienced in the past from everyone that we encountered - everybody was very polite and professional but it seemed like some were not as familiar with the hotel and what was available. I don't know if the expansion last year has caused this or not. Not a major criticism at all, but actually a compliment on the norm for your organization that has the bar so high that any small blemish becomes noticeable.
We have always used one of the Cholla Suites as the base for our family and were disappointed when we could not get our "normal" accommodations - that is until we got to our Master Suite at Sunset Beach, which turned out to be even better than what we have had in the past.
Another Great Fairmont Experience!!!!!
Great customer service! The pools were clean and the staff were very nice. Every thing was taken care of.
Amazing resort. Beautiful grounds, lots of things to do in the area. Highly recommend.
We unfortunately had a poor experience here. We booked a stay here with some friends so our niece and nephew could experience the Pumpkin Nights. This was our first time spending the evening and of course this place is not the most inexpensive place to go. We were really looking forward to it as we haven't really gone anywhere with everything going on. However, upon check in our room was HOT so we lowered the thermostat and left. Upon our return around 11pm it had barely cooled. So our options were, call the front desk at that hour and have someone come service the room OR move rooms so we just thought we'd deal with it. Unfortunately we couldn't even sleep so we just got up around 4 and just left as it was unbearable. Upon check out we mentioned it to the desk clerk and he just said you should have called and we'd send someone up. No apology or anything. For the prices you pay here (for literally EVERYTHING - we honestly had $42 drinks!) you'd think you'd get an apology but clearly good graces goes out the window - too bad the hot air in our room didn't go with it. Very disappointing. We left a review with management and never heard back so clearly the overpriced bar must be making up for it.
Beautiful! Friendly employees, prices at bar are high, but most likely the going rate for resorts like this.
My co-workers and I spent the day at the Well & Being Spa. I got one of the best pedicures I've ever had. The ambiance was relaxing, the staff was wonderful, I loved the cucumber, lemon, lime water. After pedicures we spent a few hours by the pool and enjoying the other spa amenities - the inhalation room was my favorite. I will absolutely be back - and I look forward to trying some of the other services provided in the spa's extensive list.
Extremely professional, accommodating, and clean! Caters to singles, couples, and families without any of these groups encroaching on the other's activities. Amazing experience!
The hotel has beautiful grounds but that is where it ends. We stayed in a Casita and it was in need of a major re-model. They charge a premium for these rooms and they are old and tired. I also question the cleaning process especially given Covid. We opened the ice bucket and found it was half filled with water from another guest and there was no bag for the bucket anywhere in the protocols Would not stay again.
