Christmas activities didn't worth the money unfortunately. Waited close to an hour for 5 second slide. And an hour for Farris wheel. For train ride they told us its gonna be over an hour so we went home. Not coming back.

Went here during Xmas and stayed at the Casita - very spacious and great for families. Best Xmas Buffet, Xmas light shows and events for the family! Will make a tradition every year. My daughter truly enjoyed the festivities - build a bear, train ride, ice ski, ice slopes, and santa station.
This hotel blew our expectations away. The staff is absolutely delightful and the grounds are beautiful. We had a very nice room overlooking the pool and loved watching the sunset from our balcony. They had Christmas at the Princess while we were there, which was a delight. The trees and lights were beautiful and they played Christmas music all evening. We even got free access to the little carnival and were able to enjoy a ride on the Ferris wheel. We will be back.
A group of us were at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess for a spa day. For the most part it was a fabulous experience. An enjoyable way to spend a day. Very nice amenities and very friendly staff. A little spendy.
This place is beautiful inside. I atteneded a event there and i will definitely say i will be back to stay for a weekend. The staff was polite and very helpful. Give this place 5 stars!!
Extremely disappointed with Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak Restaurant. All the food wasn't not cooked properly. They restaurant manager attempted to make it right but the kitchen was off, way off. I walked away with food poisoning
Stayed here on a business trip. They were setting up for Christmas so equipment was all around. The only issue I had was the room was consistently not cleaned until between 4 and 5. Kind of a pain spending the day out, wanting to come back and relax in your room in the afternoon only to find housekeeping either hadn't been there or one time was in the process of cleaning.
The Scottsdale Princess holds true to its name. During our recent stay, I FELT like a princess! My husband and I stayed in the beautiful Fairmont Gold section of the hotel. The room and the grounds were amazingly beautiful, spotlessly clean with very comfortable contemporary furnishings. The staff were attentive and always eager to help make our stay delightful. We have stayed at this Fairmont in the past but, I have to report, this stay surpassed other visits. The Well Being Spa and Bourbon Steak House cannot be missed! (I am a vegetarian and enjoyed a great dinner.) A special acknowledgement to Sturart Diminie who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. It was such a great experience we are returning next month.
I attended the Christmas event for my visit. The attractions were on point. Between the singing reindeer and giant lit up ornament to greet you at the entrence anf the lighting throughout the resort; it was a true magical Christmas experience. The train ride had broken down as my party got to it. However, it was up and running again after we had passed. The only negative was the food by the singing christmas trees in the middle of the resort. The chefs were half-effort there when they fried the waffle fries that tasted like they were barely cooked at all. Overall, it was a fun experience for me, my sister, her husband and my nieces seemed to really enjoy it too. I would recommend this attraction to anyone looking for a enjoyable family friendly time.
We had the pleasure of spending this past weekend at the Princess for my daughters fourth Birthday. It was awesome and she did not want to go home. All of the employees were very friendly and welcoming but one in particular went above and beyond to make our stay there very special. Her name was Casey And we ran into her around the resort she pointed us to where we needed to go. Actually walked us there and chatted about our reason for visiting so I said I was there with my daughter and the two of us were gonna celebrate her day together. Casey later that day had sent a gift to our room and a card for my daughter then later that evening we got a beautiful dessert delivered for her also. She was so sweet and I really appreciated her making my daughters day more special. We will definitely be back and hope to run into her again.
Loved the quiet atmosphere. Enjoyed my spa...sauna and relaxation room. It felt great!! Service is good. Bathrooms are clean and towels are constantly stacked and prepared. Great place to send family and friends for a weekend or a day spa as a gift. They will enjoy it and love it.
We went for the Christmas at the Princess. It was AMAZING! What a great job they have done. It was our first time and it will now be our tradition to go every year!
Came for conference, had an excellent stay. Great service, nice pools, fishing pond, golf course, Bourbon steak was an excellent place for dinner albeit expensive
I've stayed at the Princess many times and the rooms, service, and amenities are 1st class. They are also excellent at putting on special events for the holidays...kids always have a blast.
We visited on a trip my wife earned through work and it was nothing short of spectacular. The resort has quite a few restaurants to choose from, and a bar right in the middle of the resort with plenty of seating arrangements and fire pits around. Be wary of parking because I got sucked into valet for $24 a night not realizing how much it cost. I quickly switched to self park for $15 a night. They also have Cecil the tortoise on-site along with Hawks to keep the birds away.
Stayed here for a company retreat. Service was amazing. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly. The site itself is beautiful. A true gem in the dessert.
My wife and I stayed at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess for a night as we stopped in Phoenix on our way to Hawaii for our honeymoon.
We were thoroughly impressed by the room and the grounds at the resort. Our flight arrived from Louisville at 6:30 AM local time and were able to check in early to the resort.
Once we got to the resort the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. A bellhop was very nice and took us on a tour of the grounds on the way to our room. He was very informative and accommodating.
We stayed in a new Sunset Beach room --- which was very, very nice and spacious. The room had a very large bathroom as well as nice amenities like USB plugs on each side of the bed.
The food was great. We ate breakfast at Ironwood and dinner at La Hacienda. La Hacienda had great, authentic Mexican food with a great selection of wine, tequila, beer, and bourbon.
Although we stayed for just one night I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants a nice, relaxing vacation.
Hot dogs at 8 dollars? Seriously? A can of coke 4 dollars? Rip off. The festiveness is very good but don't expect anything in a reasonable price range.
My mom was down for a conference at this resort and had the most wonderful time. In particular she said she was well taken care of by Stojanka, Senada, Branko and Lili during her stay. They took extra care and made her feel very welcome. Kudos!
Beautiful resort, so relaxing and quiet. Just returned home from an amazing stay. Ian Frazier, the Mananger of the gold level was so great and made our stay perfect for our 10th Anniversary. Thank you so much!
Attended Christmas at the Princess. Lovely family event. Worth the price of general admission. Recommend dining on site, then general admission is free. Very festive. Staff helpful and engaged. Grounds well kept.
Not what I expected honestly . I was expecting amazing not good for the price of this stay being a local I have vistited many resorts and i have to say this one was not my favorite.I much rather go to Point hilton sqaw peak or The Wigwam Definatly my 2 favorites of the valley
The Good
Staff was great Room was amazing very modern Bed and bedding super comfy Pool closes @ 10pm Family Friendly environment
The Bad
No in room dining ( could have been due to covid 19) Bar and Food stops serving @ 5pm 24$ overnight charge for valet ( ridiculous most places are free) Food and drinks @ pool extremely expensive Drinks 7-14$ bucks 17-24$ bucks simple burger Slide closes @ 4pm ( whole reason why we chose this resort my kids wanted the slide) Food at the pool not good and too expensive
La Hacienda Restraunt Staff was amazing Horrible Guacamole taste powdery and acidic Queso Fundido was great Hubby loved it
Thoroughly enjoy my stay here. The rooms are impeccable. The staff is fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant selections are wide and there is something everyone would enjoy- and all the meals I had were delicious. The property is large, they do have golf carts to help get around. The pools are lovely and so are the cabanas. The falconers that come around are amazing, all the birds are gorgeous. They love to show them off and answer all your questions. Can t wait to stay again.
Very quickly the resort reached out to me to correct the problems I had. I must say that I am satisfied. Only thing keeping my from 5 stars is that any families like mine that are attending for the pool slides will not have a long time frame to do so if they plan on just staying 1 night. Checkin is 4pm slides turn off 5pm. Slides turn on 10am following day and checkout is 11am if you are a member. So keep that in mind. However the customer service is 2nd to none. So that alone will keep my business and restore my faith in this legendary property.
I love Fairmont Scottsdale Princess resort it s always the most amazing fun and people they re so awesome I have nothing but a great time food was amazing the rooms were perfect.
Event was set up nicely, the only problem is only 40 percent of the people are wearing mask, it's no wonder we are still so many new cases. Some people just have no compassion or consideration for others. I know the staffed were wearing masks, but they surely not enforcing the regulations, people are standing in line back to back waiting to get on the rides and ordering food.
Love this place and just spent 1k on rooms this weekend. Service has really not been on pair though anymore. I waited 2 hours for a drink delivery that never showed up. I have been ignored constantly when trying to order drinks. Hopefully it gets better as I have been coming here every memorial for almost 7 years in a row with family or friends. I miss the old great service and hopefully my review will ignite some excitement to return to being great. Sorry for the review but I fits.
Hotel stay for 4 days overall was very good. The room was spacious and clean and staff were very nice. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the huge markup prices on food. I understand it is a resort and has high overhead costs but $20 for so so pizza and $15 for frozen chicken fingers you can get a costco wasn't great.
We took a family day and treated ourselves to a stay-vacation at the spa doing a facial, massage, pedicure, body scrub. It is serene, well maintained and full service. Their massages are some of the best around. I was most impressed with the nail salon. The ladies who did our pedicures were experts, very kind, friendly and engaged! Prices are very reasonable and they are extremely accommodating. Highly recommend!
It was the night my five year old said to be The best day of his life! It s like I m in heaven, or a Christmas dream. & he was right. Thank you Arizona for all the amazing things you gave this California family. Going on two years here n we re loving each new adventure.
I do however have a suggestion.
I called ahead a time for better information on what to expect so my family could fully injoy wat i had set up as a surprise for them (5 & 9 year old plus husband) I just started working three months ago n hadn t been able to do anything with the three of them. But i saved up n thought this would be perfect. I called to ask any extra cost for rides n things that I could make sure I had enough for. Sandy was really informative n told me about the s more kit so I was ready. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed when I was told after waiting in a line that was extremely long but surprisingly fast Good Job on that but to find out that the only form of payment at this event was credit card. That hurt me extremely. I saw their smiles go away and couldn t help to cry thankfully my husband and kids said it s ok were still here together. I wiped my tears away n said ok. We saw it all the restaurant looked amazing n the train seemed fun but I didn t have the proper information about wat to expect. Thankfully my family allowed me to see the real joy of that day.
Review for 'Christmas at The Princess' - So fun. Lights are incredible. Lines are long if you have general admission. I would suggest prioritizing the train ride, definitely worth the wait. The Princess puts on a first class Christmas experience.
Visited the Princess for a work Holiday Party and had a great time at the event, but also participating in all the Christmas Village events. Our party had a kids zone and all the staff went so far above and beyond in making it a great experience. My wife and I live locally, but we'll definitely be back soon for a stay-cation at this beautiful resort.
5-star, upscale resort in Scottsdale, Az. with all of the amenities one would expect. The property is beautiful and well-kept, however certain facilities could benefit from a slight "refresh."
Clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent amenities, easy to access at night and good parking available. we recommend staying on the first floor and close to the pool. great hotel
The kind of resort you go back to! Thank you to Jacqueline at the front desk who welcomed us and started the amazing experience. She saw what room we selected and recommended upgrading for better views and access to the pool which was worth it. Also a huge thank you to our server at the American Grille who paid for our meal after mentioning my husband just returned from deployment. Amazing time there! Spent 2 nights which was just enough. Enjoyed a nice couples massage, expensive but worth the money. We had a private tub and treats for the massage. Extremely family friendly resort but there's still an adult only pool and bar accessible. I recommend checking out Scottsdale nightlife in the area if you're young since all the night events on the resort had too many kids there for us. Great food and great service. Got a deluxe room with a view (E wing) and it didn't disappoint and having a mini bar in the room was impressive. My favorite restaurant was the American Iron Grille and the Plaza Bar for drinks.
Visited for the Christmas display. Started with toasting marshmallows. Watched children on the rides. Held my wifes hand while ice skating (we were both terrible lol). We then proceeded to walk the grounds looking at christmas light. Stopped for hot cocoa with a splash of rum. Met other people touring and stopped to talk. Overall a nice evening spent enjoying Christmas night. Would recommend to others
