This site is a scam without name, do not order anything above, I had made a reservation on June 3 for the dorada palace of salou, once arrived on site, the hotel did not have my reservation .... and for good reason, the dorada does not work with expedia, which nevertheless appropriates this partnership..a real scandal..it was the director of the dorada in person who settled my concern, because expedia wanted to relocate me elsewhere, which the director and I refused.
I had a type of expedia on the phone that wandered around for 50 minutes, making me believe that the reservation email had been sent to another hotel mailbox ... so I naively waited 3 hours at the desk of the dorada palace hotel to hear me say that expedia did not work with the dorada .... a big thank you to the manager of this hotel who saved the nightmare situation in which expedia immersed me .. . moreover, I wanted to cancel the stay before the intervention of the director, and expedia has the nerve to answer me that that would involve penalties ... My flight was canceled by the airline, but I bought the tickets at EXPEDIA and not on the airline's website. However EXPEDIA refuses the reimbursement and on their website and on the airline's website there is no choice to modify the flight, or to receive a credit instead, but only to cancel the flight and lose the amount of the reservation .
So I was deceived by the amount of the reservation without giving me the possibility of modifying the flight which I did not cancel.

At the counter, the renter requires the subscription of additional insurance on the grounds that my VISA PREMIER credit card is debit (and not on credit) and does not allow to take a "deposit" (which is a pure scam) .
Expedia does not clearly mention this point (it is drowned at the end of the terms of use, after several clicks on links) and refused any assistance / refund.
Contacted, Expedia responds "All the rental companies today require that a credit card be used for rental".
So, if like the majority of French you have a debit card (it's written on the credit card), you should not buy through Expedia.
I have rented cars dozens of times via other sites, which make sure that their customers' CBs allow an effective rental without surcharges.
The lack of seriousness of EXPEDIA cost me 180 and doubled the rental price.

Arrived at the end of the conversation, she asks me my credit card number, until the nothing abnormal but that's where my ordeal begins.
First attempt at booking, the operator tells me that my payment is refused (I had made sure not to have reached my ceiling).
She tries a second time and again refused. She advises me to call my bank, which I do. My bank informs me that both requests have been accepted, even gives me the authorization numbers and explains that it is up to the merchant to accept or refuse the transaction.
I recall expedia who tells me again that the requests have been refused and that my bank is lying to me. I remind you that I have the two authorization numbers of my bank ...
After more than 6 calls and more than 3 hours on the phone, expedia tells me that in fact the money will not be debited but it is just pre-authorization. The problem is that there is 3900 per request and they have done two. So I am now stuck with my card that has largely reached its ceiling ...

In front of their incompetence and their lack of consideration, we go on Twitter and Facebook to intervene on their page and as if by magic, the customer service answers us but asks us to continue in private. As I am confident and have to book the trip for my children, I ask for an exceptional depletion of my card, which is accepted.
I do not pass obviously by expedia but I reserve via booking and the company live. Everything is going well until today. We are more than 72 hours after my first contact with expedia and not only the first two pre authorization have not been canceled but in addition these charlots have represented another 2544 ! and without my permission! So I'm stuck with my card again. The hotel where my children are trying to pick up but can not (ceiling exceeded due to expedia).
We contact them again on twitter. Their answer: they are pre-authorization, everything will be canceled tomorrow. Except that last time they said that and they took it again. In front of so much bad faith, I decided to go on the spot at expedia France in the 9 th in Paris. so expedia would only be managed by level 1 agents with no power and no emergency procedure? It's pretty scary for a tour operator who sends thousands of people all over the world, right?
What would happen in the event of a SERIOUS problem? well ... the client should take care of himself. expedia is only a (poor) provider, expedia does not have the power to discuss with its (poor) providers ... and above all, expedia has a lot of customers, so losing one or two in the process ...
