Their service department has quite the business model. I scheduled a time to bring in my vehicle then when I brought it in they told me it will be about $200 just to diagnose the problem but the $200 can go towards the cost of the repairs. Most places will diagnose it for free, go to any auto parts store. I had already had a friend diagnose it for me and I told them what to fix. Well, they try to tell me I need $1500 in work done. I know that's not true as I get my vehicle serviced regularly and this is the first time I went to Edwards. I told them to fix what I knew needed to be fixed. The cost was about $350 from Edwards. After I got the cost from them I got a quote from another mechanic for $180 for parts and labor everything included for the exact same fix. Well, I was already indebted to Edwards for $200 JUST TO LOOK AT IT so I might as well just pay the extra $150 at this point because I had already signed the promise to pay $200 they have you sign when you drop off your vehicle.

In addition, when I go to pick up my car I have to pay to get my keys back (which took 15 minutes just to locate my keys) and before you can pay they make you sign something that says:

"THE SELLING DEALER MAKES NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER AS TO THE MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRODUCTS LISTED HEREON OR AS TO THEIR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY WARRANTY WHICH MAY EXIST IS AN AGREEMENT SOLELY BETWEEN THE MANUFACTURER AND THE PURCHASER."

This tells me that Edwards does not stand behind their products and work performed. If I'm going to pay a premium of double the cost, why would I, or anyone, be ok with this? Do yourself a favor and do not go here. I asked around the community and everyone I talked to told me it was a mistake to drop my vehicle off there. I understand now that they were right. I won't be returning and I don't know why anyone would.
