Stunning place, tired my kids out and did not even see half it. Worth getting up into the canopy climb above rain forest as early as possible as heats up and queues grow. Veggie curry was lovely

It's obviously a very cool 'must visit' destination for most people interested in nature and botany etc, and I appreciate that it is run as a charity. However, the prices are surely prohibitive for the vast majority of families in the UK? More

We came from eastbourne especially to visit the Eden project and we really enjoyed the Rain Forest Dome but were deeply disappointed to find the Mediterranean Dome was closed for a wedding. The signage was obscured by the crowds entering the main building. We do not feel that we were valued as customers.

What an awesome place, what an experience, I am not honestly sure how it will help the world, but it is a great thought, mammoth project, and gives people a nice experience about nature and environment.

Must visit! Family and kids will all enjoy this. It's a very nice place to connect back with nature and become aware of what is happening in the world to our environment etc. Nice walk around the park and the food court is good as well. A very good day out experience.

This was the most beatiful place I have ever been in my whole life. I love it. The flowers are really pretty amd smell amazing, each of the different habitats are great expiriences too. There is two big gift shops which both sell ethical things and I really wish I could have bought the whole shop. Everyone should go there, it's a must-see.

Upon my recent holiday to Cornwall, this was my number 1 place to visit. It didn't disappoint at all I could have stayed there for the whole time it was open alas the kids didn't agree so we didn't!!

Upon arrival please think about the gift aid option so they can claim gift aid back from the government to continue to do the stellar work they have been doing there, in return though you will get an annual pass to return as many times as you want for a whole year.

We didn't visit on the funniest of days but it didn't spoil our visit at all, we started of on the left hand path and made our way down that way to where the main attractions are located. Take note on the way down of the various picture frames which give information of how it started and the work they have done over the years to get to where they are now. As it's ever changing due to the nature of the place it will look different during the year so is defo worth another visit.

Once at the bottom we first went into the core where the invisible worlds exhibition is currently on lots of really interesting facts and information and there is something in there that is guaranteed to keep the kids amused!! I won't spoil it but is a clue

Both the biomes are jammed packed with flora and information about them, they are pretty full of people too but that won't detract from the experience.

We ate whilst there from the bbq grill near the main stage where the space exhibit is on and the food was really good some would say expensive but no more than anywhere else I visited in Cornwall. The coffee is great also.

I'm looking forward to visiting again and will be entering the photo competition they have running also

Well worth a visit, all on a one way system with social distancing in all areas, amazing plants, lots to read and learn, took longer than expected to walk around, best bit for me was the rain forest

Wonderfully managed for covid 19, some parts are closed off due to this, but does not make this experience any less enjoyable. Pictures do not do this place any justice. It's impossible to capture how breathtakingly spectacular it is when you first see it and the sheer size of it is incredible. I was in awe of its beauty. People were mostly distancing with masks on, obviously can't guarantee this on your day. Comfy shoes are a must and next trip I will take a fan and a bottle of water to want to spend more time in the biomes..

I was staying in the area and the Eden Project was something that was on my bucket list and have just got round to doing it - yes it is expensive but the money needed for the upkeep must be astronomical and well worth the effort

There are two biomeds and a large grounds (which takes time in itself

Demonstrations go on and also there is the viewing platform in one of the biomeds (restricted to numbers and on time slots which I did not realise!!)

Good for local schools as an educational base and worth spending time there too

YHA accommodation is on site

A public bus runs near to the main entrance/ticket office

Everything is well signposted - things are being changed all the time and whilst I will not be back within the year I hope to be back in a few years to see how things have developed - the two domes are linked

cafes etc are on site too

I went there 2 weeks ago, it was the best decision ever! Not too many people, and there were so many things to explore. The "Look out" in biomes is recommended, it allows you to see the whole dome from the top. The Mediterranean restaurant located between 2 biomes is a must try. Me and my friends had a wonderful time and we can't wait to go back !

This is such a magic place. Family friendly and even dogs are allowed in a good amount of areas (domes excluded). Each dome has a different climate zone to explore from tropical to desert. There s a few areas to eat and shop as well. Lots of parking but can be a bit crowded, a bus picks you up so you won t have to walk far to the entrance. There s a massive zip line, beautiful statues and gardens to enjoy as well. Perfect for a day trip while visiting Cornwall.

A really good day out in Cornwall and you can come back again within a year of your visit.
Social distancing measures are very good and does make you walk round the whole site so you do still get to see everything. Only downside is my favourite quiet section is now busy.

Fabulous reinvention of a Cornish claypit. The biomes are physically impressive and the contents spectacular. Add in the Eden Sessions gigs and you've got one of the best things to happen to Cornwall in a very long time.

Ok - in reality.. everything which is serious fun here is going to cost you extra! At the top of the park they have all the slides and the rides but they are all an additional cost (sometimes quite expensive - in addition.. for a lot of the rides they have height and weight restrictions so please be careful) The gardens themselves are quite interesting but (IMHO) it's a bit like walking round an oversized green house - probably not the best place to take a disgruntled teenager who is probably going to moan all the time! Food is expensive, drinks are expensive another problem (in summer) is the amount of wasps! If you are going to visit... Probably best to go early/late afternoon to miss the crowds and enjoy an amazing sunset

The exhibition area is about the same size as all ...

The exhibition area is about the same size as all restaurants, design was confusing and felt like a bunch of random things was thrown there. A lot of vegetable exhibitions are not taken good care of. Seems like the purpose of the park is not to exhibit but to profit . Plus the overall operation is extremely inefficient - waited for ~1h to purchase tickets, and every facility inside the park has a long queue, web purchase tickets, restaurant, ice cream stand, etc. Not worth the price and a waste of time!

Missing a huge opportunity to educate on the importance of plants, trees and the rain forest to our planet. For example, I visited during Bees' Needs week (an annual event coordinated by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to raise awareness of bees and other pollinators) but there was no mention or promotion of this. Maybe reduced staffing due to the Covid lockdown has limited what they can do. However, it just felt like a tourist attraction and their mission/purpose has got a bit lost.

Been here 4 times now really good make sure you wear good walking shoes as lots of walking and on busy day you will find it a big walk from the car park to the entrance remember to take lunch with you if your going don't leave in car as fair track back

Have to say the Eden Project have excelled themselves this Christmas, firstly with a staff Christmas party evening for 65 of us. We were looked after like kings with a lively fun evening of good music, dancing and food. We used the complementary tickets a week later for a amazing night tour of the beautifully lit biomes. The live orchestra and choir really topped of a first class evening. Eden is the pride of Cornwall!

The Eden Project is a great place to go. It is both educational and visually spectacular. I have been 3 times in the last 10 years. It hasn't changed much. This year there was a cold room in the tropical biome, which was very welcome and the restaurant has been made more upmarket, to it's detriment.

Had a wonderful day at The Eden Project. It is worth every penny as there is so much to see and experience. We spent 5 hours in total which included an hour for lunch in the lovely Mediterranean biome restaurant. I thought the prices were very reasonable for this type of venue. The food was hot and very tasty and there was a good selection to choose from.
I would advise that it is very hot and humid in the Rainforest biome. It seems obvious but it was an overcast day so everyone was wearing light coats and some people were in sweatshirts so they were really feeling the heat!!!
I would highly recommend this great, unique venue.

Eden project is a fantastic place to visit for all the family with its expanse of planted grounds and two brilliant biomes both tropical and Mediterranean, there are plenty of food outlets around the site selling lovely food. Definitely a great day out

What a great day out, the gardens are beautiful and wonderful to walk around.

The domes are great, both giving you different experiences and a great view of the plant life of different regions.

Pricing was not too bad and enables you to return for 12months which is a nice bonus.

The biomes are pretty cool, but we didn't enjoy anything else. The tickets are horrifyingly expensive and so is the food, yet it's tasteless and cold. It's also very cold in the restaurant and it's very difficult to find a seat.

Overall, the biomes are okay but I'd pack my own lunch for sure next time.

If you want to pay an extortionate entry fee to walk around and look at plants then this would be great for you, if you would then like to pay even more extortionate prices for food and drink, than this is also the place for you. An impressive set up and array of plants but hardly worth the money and if anything a bit boring, waste of a day

The reason i give this one star is because, i booked on line for the zipwire skydive. We were booked at 1.24pm and were told when we arrived they were busy and would be bit of a wait. The wait being 2.5 hrs which is absolutely ridiculous. There were many very stressed families waiting and i had a very agitated partner. As for social distancing this certainly was not happening, even though a member of staff made an anouncement and apologised for being so busy. This should of been a fun day out but sadden to say it was not. The quality of the photo was rubbish and for what we paid for this event was a rip off. Im a local person that will not be returning.

Visited whilst on a weeks holiday, awesome place plenty to do. It was raining, so we looked at indoor projects exotic gardens of the East and rain forests with different temperatures, humidity amazing like visiting different parts of the world. It covers a very large area beautiful flowers, vegetables, water features, exciting events in the arena. Definitely going there again as we couldn't go around at once, hopefully weather will be lovely.

I came here expecting to find lush, green forests full of the marvels of nature, but what did I find instead? Trees. Trees make me very sad, so I stole a car from the car park and tried to drive it into the main site so I could run over as many trees as possible. I instead ran into a large bin, which made me even more sad. In order to vent out my frustration and grief, I left the car and screamed into the nearest person's ear. The police was called soon after and they have been trying to track me down for several days now. I am therefore leaving immediately for Nepal, where I intend to live as a goat.

A great experience. Being here was just great. I would never have thought so fascinated with plants and nature. At the beginning, I was a bit shocked at the box office what you have to pay here. The price / performance ratio does not quite work for me. Therefore a star deduction. Still, I did not regret being here. A visit with a dog is possible, but if you want to go to the Biome, the highlight, you must leave your dog outside. But who was once in the biome can understand why that is so.

Whilst the place is impressive from an architectural and botanical point of view, the experience for me was let down by the patronizing and political nature of the presentation. Rather than focusing on the interesting scientific aspects of plant life and the ecosystems they inhabit, the site instead peddles a lot of rhetoric about its opinion on sustainability and ethics in a very sanctimonious and irritating manner. I saw no attempt to explain the workings of the natural world to young children (i.e the water cycle, the Krebs cycle, atmospheric respiration, the way energy is used by humans), instead there was a load of preachy nonsense about fair trade (a cause I am sympathetic to) and sustainability which actually said nothing of substance. There was a couple of interesting exhibits such as the way in which the properties of rubber were vastly improved by vulcanization, unfortunately this was the exception rather than the rule. What epitomized the whole thing for me was a cartoon storyboard at the end of the tropical dome which depicted caricatures of our ancestors exploiting developing economies along a timeline which juxtaposed images of money and banks alongside dying crops, this sort of simplistic rubbish does not belong in a public exhibit that has received considerable public money.

Impressive transformation of disused clay pit, but with tired looking displays and masses of shops the emphasis seems to be on retail rather than education.

It was good, there are sockets in the bedrooms (two if I remember correctly), there is a double bed and two bunk beds with the shower next to it which closes with a sliding window the size of a door but without lock, which is a bit of a shame is that there is Wi-Fi only in the main room, and also the fact that the only time we were eating there, the meals didn t had no taste, neither salt nor pepper, it was a weird omelet in the shape of a pot with a salad on top.

We used clubcard vouchers which brought the price down a lot and they came by email almost instantly. Don't work as annual tickets but we were only in the area for a week.

We were there on a saturday in June, arrived not long after it opened at 10 and it wasn't too busy all day considering.

The rainforest biome is the highlight and we went through it twice as it's so impressive. Our toddler enjoyed watching all the little birds running around as well as the bouncy bridges nearer the top. Unfortunately as it was a warm day it was too hot for the viewing platform right at the top to be open so we had to miss out on that.

We were fortunate that the Titan Arum or corpse flower was in bloom whilst we were there - this is a 2m high flower that only blooms one day a year and I'd always wanted to see one. They had 3 out with one of the botanists on hand to talk about it and show some videos of it and this was the last one to bloom of the year.

Great place to visit. Very interesting plants and knowledgable staff. Park and ride system in place so remember where you have parked. Cafes are on the expensive side for what you get - although it tasted ok. Definitely go if you are in the area.

Visiting the Eden Project has been on my bucket list for years, and delighted we managed to go in the first week of opening in Covid-19 times. Thankyou Eden Project for the NHS worker complimentary pass too, which our friend was very grateful for. Loved the biomes, the different walks and gardens - the whole experience was fantastic, despite certain things being closed due to current circumstances.

Management of the restaurant area given Covid-19 left a little to be desired. The staff were probably quite worried coming back from furlough to manage the area, and we felt that there were some measures that needed to be taken - generally the whole area needed a deep clean (tables, bins, corners, doors, floors) and generally more staff to manage people, manage queues, and clean tables when people were vacating.

The Eden Project was amazing. I have uploaded some great photos of it below. There is a rainforest biome and a Mediterranean biome which consist of different places around the world. For example, in the rainforest biome, there is an area which is like West Africa, another is Malaysia and there is also an area to represent some islands (there is a 4th one but I can't remember right now). In my opinion the Rainforest biome is much more impressive, but the Mediterranean biome has much more flowers which are all extraordinary and beautiful. Dogs cannot go into the biome domes but can go everywhere else. At the moment you must wear a mask in all buildings including the domes. I highly recommend for anyone to come here as it is really cool and an amazing experience. Hope this review helps :)

It was an amazing experience going into the hot weather but with a breeze in the Rainforest biome and the Mediterranean biome is my favorite because it has a calm atmosphere and lovely art and flowers and I'm not a great lover of flowers but THE EDEN PROJECT IS THE BEST PLACE IVE BEEN TO IN CORNWALL APART FROM A BEACH !

Beautiful place to visit, suitable for all weathers. Lots to do and a trail for the kids this summer based on space exploration. The only downside is that it is so popular, the queues for everything are large. If you are able to get a ticket that lets you in repeatedly over several days I would recommend this as there is a lot to take in. It's an educational charity so there's lots to learn as well. Getting up close with so many interesting plants was possibly more fun than I thought too!

Really great place to vist at any time of the year, we go as often as possible to see the different flowers and vegetables growing. Many special events throughout the year make for a varied programme.
Free parking with shuttle bus, makes life a lot easier as some car parks are a long walk from the entrance. Tractor rides also available from the Domes as it is a long walk back up. Very good day out.

Very overpriced for the winter months except for the rainforest biodome! everything else very poor! prices should be lowered for time of year a,ll small cafe areas closed invisible world areas not working

The biomes are great to see from the outside more than the inside. Very crowded and expensive to get in. Also for some reason there are huge food courts in every single establishment within the grounds, full of very overpriced food after having paid so much for entry. The Mediterranean Biome in particular was basically just a huge canteen in a Biome sphere with a few plants around it, with any atmosphere ruined by the smell of generic greasy food. The best part of the place was the Rainforest Biome, but it still wasn't anything special inside. Also you can bring dogs, but don't if you actually want to go anywhere mildly interesting as they can only go on the main path between attractions.

On arrival in the morning we were filtered up through the car parks to Plum 3.
On walking down we saw the closer car parks had numerous empty spaces in all of them. People parkong had left gaps as people were getting out of their cars after parking and no one filled the numerous gaps after!
Then we passed the Electric vehicle recharge spaces - empty- and we could have used them but weren't allowed to get to them!!!
At the entrance, toilets already in poor condition and most had no accessible toilet paper - all in the holders but couldn't get the paper out.
Queued 25 minutes to pay to get in.
Each transaction took forever due to all the questions the cashier has to ask about membership /gift aid/supply your email and 50% of the tills were closed.
Walked round the exhibits. Used the toilets at The Core- no toilet paper again. Told a member of staff who was totally disinterested.
Stopped for lunch at the outdoor burger 'restaurant'.
LONG queue and after 15 mins queuing we were told they'd run out of burgers....... Tried the Mexican, they'd also got a reduced menu.
Used the cafe attached to the shop at the main entrance.
Ordered an americano, an elderflower presse and a chocolate brownie.
Painfully slow service. The staff all seem new/unsure. Prices are high.
The Rainforest exhibit was good but otherwise it was a VERY medocre experience and one I shan't repeat.
Visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan the next day - half the price and totally fabulous- go there instead!

The Eden Project does not disappoint with its amazing environment featuring the epic and varied climates of the Biomes each housing vast and epic species of flowers, plants and trees. In spite of this though, it s a one off visit as once you ve seen it you ve seen it all for the majority (of course excluding any avid horticulturists!) . It s beauty does not disappoint.

Fascinating site stunning must be seen.

Top tip: go for the canopy walk first thing in the morning as the queue gets rather large towards the middle of the day.

Nice place, but way too crowded. We've looked around in 2 hours, if you don't want to eat here, I can't imagine spending more than a couple hours here. Way too pricey entrance tickets for what it is. It's a big restaurant surrounded by nice plants.
