Laaaaved this place!!! So glad we got to go during a pandemic though. We thought it was busy yesterday and that was operating at a lower capacity for the whole covid stufff.... so i hate to think what a 'normal' day would look like.
Other than that, cannot fault.

Whilst I've always wanted to go the Eden Project, I was very much dissapointed. The biodomes were great but I was shocked at how small the whole project was. Staff were friendly but make sure you bring a packed lunch, the choice of food wasn't great and fairly overpriced. The Lost Gardens of Heligan was a lot nicer and you get more for your money.

The visit pleased us, but the price is really too expensive! Converted 31.50 for plants, everyone must decide for themselves whether it is worth it. The tropical house is very spectacular even small ratites we have seen there. The Mediterane Cathedral is not quite as big and spectacular. Looking back we could have gone to a zoo, there are also some with tropical houses and animals we would have seen.

We're where told it was amazing, and it was. There is not much to say, if you want to see the praise, read the over 100 other positive reviews.

I want, however, to stress how uncrowded it was. It was by no means empty, but the amount of people was very comfortable, and we experienced no queues, unlike some guide book would lead you to believe.

We had been here before just after they had built it. Disappointing to see that you are not treated as anything special by being a member of the Eden Project and you still need to stand in the queue to get in. Best to see just one area that you are interested in as you would be there for a long time to get to see all of the projects that are available. Much more needed for people who have difficulty in walking and you have to walk around a lot should be able to hire scooters or something like that to help you get around because you can not always bring your own with you especially if you live a long way away.

Excellent place to visit, I particularly enjoyed the rainforest biome, although it was very humid you had fresh water taps along the paths. In hindsight I should have taken a bag/backpack with me with drinks in there.

Better memories of Kew gardens for some reason. The biomes are visually impressive from the outside and the high walk in the tropical one is worthwhile if the queue isn't too long. Remember that kids probably are more into animals than plants and there are no animals here.

Absolutely love the eden project! The biodomes are great, educational and full of interesting and beautiful things, the food is excellent and all the purely educational/research type areas extremely interesting as well.

We were here on August 18th, 2018 ... We bought a combination ticket and can therefore visit the Lost Gardens of Haligan ... so the somewhat high price is justified ... it was very crowded ... too many People ... that's why one point is deducted and because the gastronomy is very uncoordinated.

It is better not to visit here during the school holidays. It's too full! A visit within the week is recommended.

But it is definitely worth visiting this place !!! A must for every plant lover!

Positive:
- combi - ticket with The Lost Gardens of Haligan, so the high price is ok
- many interesting plants

Negative:
- to many people there in school holidays
- staff is uncoordinated

The Eden project turned out to be a great day for the whole family. Plenty to see and explore. The rainforrest biome is fantastic. I was i little let down with the med biome... Plenty of choice for food at prices you have come to expect now a days.

Good family day out, a little on the expensive side in my opinion and some experiences you have to pay additional fees for on site... Loads to do and see and keep the kids interested. Cafes and restaurants and gift shop onsite.

A very fascinating and beautiful place. The Eden Project houses many wonders of nature within its colossal greenhouses. The site is very interesting and there is plenty here to keep you occupied. There is also activities such as the Zip Wire, which gives you an aerial view of the site (I didn't try this but it looked like fun). There is also live music entertainment at Eden Sessions which is a great area with a huge stage and a large area for the audience.

There is no doubt about it, this place is expensive to take a family to....but if you are interested in ecosystems, plants, nature, the environment etc it's well worth it. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to make the most of it. We loved it.

Over priced Over crowded and over rated !!! . I m sure for out of season educational trips it s fine but as a family day out It was appalling queuing for well over an hour to do any activity and then charged again on top of admission price . We had a meal in the med terrace was told it was a half hour wait after ordering still sat there an hour and a quarter later . The Eden Project was always somewhere I wanted to visit but the whole family were extremely disappointed!

I took my son who is in a wheelchair and my friend who is an elderly lady who can't walk for very long or very far. We were able to borrow a wheelchair for my friend, free of charge, and the access around the project was excellent. My son found it very easy to get around the biomes. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable without being patronizing, the 'train' staff were excellent when getting the two wheelchairs on board and they listened to my son when he told them he would prefer to transfer out. Most people don't listen to him. The restaurant staff were extremely helpful, collecting food and drinks for me so that I wasn't struggling with trays and wheelchairs. Disabled facilities were adequate although one was out of order when we visited. The Biomes were absolutely amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there. I came away with an armful of plants bought from the nurseries there and I found them to be reasonably priced and the plants are in excellent condition. I would happily recommend Eden to anyone who has a love of plants and conservation. Very educational. My only criticism would be that the car park we were sent to was quite a distance away and was a very steep push back on our return to the car.

The Eden project was built when I was younger and have always wanted to go there. I finally got the chance and loved every minute of it. I attended with my Wife and Daughter, it was great to see how excited my kids got at learning about nature in a very tactile and fun way.
We arrived in the car park and found a shuttle bus that ran to the main entrance. From here you walk down to pay for entry. I find the price of entry a little steep but when you consider that you are in there all day the price does not seem too bad and defiantly with it. Due to mobility issues I was worried I would not last the day walking around the grounds which I did not want to happen. Thankfully they have mobility scooters you can use for free (I made a donation to the charity that provides them, which you can do there and then).

I loved every minute of being in such a unique place that brought most of the world to you, without having to sit in a plane for five or six hours at a time! We need more places like this, where people - young and old - can see new things and experience new climates.

The view and centre: fantastic. The food? Over prices, sub par and unnecessarily fussy.
Edit: I have increased to 3 star for the supervisors customer service, the lady who I spoke to was professional, helpful and explained that there were other food areas serving more standard food (which was not pointed out at the start when I asked if we were able to get plainer food)
I would go back again on the strength of that customer service alone. Though I might pack my own lunch!

I loved The Eden Project. So much to see and do. The Biomes were beautifully laid out, as were the outside exhibits. I will definitely go back for a second visit. Might try the zip wire next time too.

Overpriced glorified garden centre focussed on food and shops. Not educational at all and could be fully viewed at an average pace in two hours. Also, note that vouchers in lots of local tourist publications are NOT accepted here, so a pricey day out for a family of fout. One of the biospheres was disappointing as it was like going for a walk whilst on holiday in the Meditteranean. No wonder your ticket gives free access to go back within a year, as once you've been there is no point returning.

Amazing if you like flowers and plants, inside the domes it is very hot though! To explore everything there is alot of walking involved, also there is a massive zipwire that goes out over the whole place! The tractor ride is fun as well!

An essential visit when you are in the area. The domes are impressive and there is a lot to see for those interested in the biome engineering and horticulture. Value of the tickets are lost for passing tourists that will only get one use and if the event spaces are empty it can also feel like you are missing out so ensure that there are extras worth seeing when planning a visit.

It is hard not to feel exited when reading the other reviews, but this place didn't live up to my expectations. There are two domes in which they label everything either rain forest or Mediterranean. The gardens outside are really not that pretty, with common trees.

Architectural/structural/engineering masterpiece, ...

Architectural/structural/engineering masterpiece, by Nicholas Grimshaw. One of the finest piece of geodesic structures, combined with state-of-the-art hexagonal polyethylene cushions roofing solution! It has two main domes, the bigger one housing a fine example of a rainforest (felt so contemplated and homesick, I'm from Brazil) and the other a Mediterranean ecosystem. It settles itself at an old quarry/mining (?), showing abundance of colors and green life on a former brownish, greyish area. The entrance building is a wooden, rammed earth arcade (if I recall it right, been there for some time now...), with a golden view of the complex in its entirety. The restaurant in between the domes offers a very comfortable ambiance, all surrounded by lights, colours and wood. And the Fibonacci's sunflower building (the roof structure is designed based on Fibonacci's spiral) is another structure so well thought that makes it good to look at! The sculptures by the garden are amazing and the variety of ambiances as well!
Also, very nice ice cream shop!

A two-part experience.
The Jungle Biodome is very successful. You should plan at least 30 minutes for the viewing platform, but it's worth it.
The Mediterranean Biodome is nice, but can't get to the jungle.
We didn't find the rest so exciting.
We were bothered by the long lines at the food expenses. Maybe you should bring a picnic with you.

The walk around the project and the domes is really amazing and gives you a sense of the climates that actually happen in the specific domes. The Rainforest dome has an amazing birds eye view area at the top. It gets very warm but it is something that is worth doing. The rest of the site has alot of factual information about the site and their goal. One of the buildings is an interactive exhibit and helps explain how much things affect nature. There is also a selection of amazing activities to take part in on site such as a a zip wire and high ropes course. An added bonus is the Cafe has amazing food and drinks.

We had a great day here. If you need help with access you don t need to have a blue badge to access one of the closer car parks. Just ask the guides and they will direct you. There are slopes and a few steps but the gradients are fairly easy for most people to walk along. You can also use the lift via the Core to access the visitor centre on the way out. The rainforest dome was lovely and a great place to walk around. The rope walkway in the canopy is nice and its very cool if you get to the waterfall. Equally the top of the dome platform is a great view over the dome. Lots of steps but well worth it.

Amazing, outstanding. Go!

The domes are the best part, but there are plenty of other great things to see. The outdoor gardens were interesting in the winter, they must be great in the spring/summer.

The biospheres weren't as warm as I expected (January.) It was cool enough to need a jacket even in the rainforest.

A lot has changed since we last visited when Eden first opened (17 years ago) still an enjoyable day out. Caters well for disabled (although the carer needs plenty of stamina to push up and down in the biomes)

Over priced and boring.

Over priced and boring.

Ticket system is so annoying I felt like leaving before I had even gone in and I wish I had, a ton of questions for no reason.
Not many plants I expected more, lots of staff walking round not doing much.
Myself and partner both agreed that walking round a garden centre would have been a better and cheaper use of our time.
Only thing I enjoyed was the three tiny birds and a penny press in the gift shop.
Id rather have gone to gift shop got my penny press and left and spent the day at the beach.
Avoid unless you want to fall to sleep.

Great project, well worth seeing and well organized. Of course it is well visited, especially and especially by families with children. But that's also the purpose of the project ... it's about sustainability. The entrance fee is not cheap, but it is also busy the whole day.

The mediterranean wasn't so special to my opinion, since you would see similar things in Spain or Italy, the tropical biome was nice to see, but feels fake. The food in there is nice but quite overpriced

Fantastic place to visit, so interesting and plenty to see and little play areas dotted around. Land train (tractor train) always a hit with young ones. Arrived when they had space theme, excellent fun for little ones. I understand they change the themes. Restaurant had delicious food, Mediterranean restaurant was best. Spent lots of time there, bit dear but value for money if can do multiple trips as ticket is effectively an annual pass at the moment

Great car parking we went with my 86 year old father. No disability badge but we were allowed to park in the disabled area. We borrowed a wheelchair, he part pushed it around and part sat so we managed well. Probably would have been a challenge to push him all of the way around. We really enjoyed the rain forest biome everything else was just ok. Tesco club card vouchers made it a good day! Food was reasonably priced and tasty.

Well worth the visit. I loved the outdoor gardens and the Rainforest Biome. Plenty of ideas for me to take home. And I was very impressed by the knowledge and helpfulness of the garden staff.

Went in the off season. No flower beds planted. No park and ride due to low visitor numbers. Very large site. Not sure it needs an ice rink. Bio Domes intresting. Too much signage. Food and drink prices high. Too many food outlets. Would not go again. I was looking for an organic experience. Too commercial.

Any time we are in the Devon area, we try to hit the Eden Project for the day. My husband and I love it there! Last time we came, we had the great luck of seeing not one but two rare plants that had bloomed, one of which only blooms once in a humans lifetime.

I remember delivering to this when it was a working pit a few years ago, however its brilliant to see what they have done to it. I have been back a couple of times and the transformation is stunning and well worth a visit if your in the area, I would thoroughly recommend it.

Plenty to see and do at the Eden Project. In fact there's probably too much to do, we certainly couldn't fit it in without collapsing from exhaustion.

Really interesting experience and an impressive work of construction and dedication.

Take food and drink with you though as the stuff sold on site is an utter rip off.
