Visited for the first time in several years. A good few hours worth of interest, though you would hope that considering the very high entrance fees. Went on a couple of the talks which were interesting. The variety of plants is exceptional.

Wow! What a beautiful place. It has beat my expectations completely. They have so many variety of plants, flowers. The food was expensive, but it was really well made. It's for the whole family. Along with the variety of trees, plants. They have various cool exhibits.

Disappointed with the size of biomes which look giant on the pictures, after arriving they are hiding on the slopes of an old quarry. With kids we have walked around them in less than 1,5 hours. Most of the plants were out of bloom in late August so not too exciting. Nice, but slightly too over-advertised and overpriced.

Nice place with lots to look at, the only thing that ruined it for me was the long wait to get in as they ask you a million and one questions for marketing when all I was interested in was paying and getting in.

Fourth visit to the Eden project, the last being five years ago. Sadly, disappointed it felt tired and so many brambles growing. A lot of the original artwork needs some vital tlc. Shame as I have always had amazing visits and was looking forward to going round again. This was my husband's first visit and he too was disappointed
Utter disappointment.
Utter disappointment.
As a summary it's NOT a day out for the kids. It's a climate change publicity stunt and will cost you much more than you pay for your ticket. The majority is more like a museum and art gallery. If you want a good day out there is so so much to do in Cornwall that Eden is not worth the trip.

Visited here post lock down easing. The staff and organisation are doing an exceptional job at making sure everyone stays safe and follows social distancing measures.
Parts of Eden Project are still not open so check the website so you're not disappointed. I feel that the entry price could have been reduced a bit to reflect this but you do get a year's entry with the ticket so you could argue that you are free to come again when it opens up more.
There is a one way system through most of the Eden Project which can feel a bit restricting on the day however it has been put in place for a good reason so I won't mark them down for that.
It can get very hot in the biomes even more so now you have to wear a face covering so make sure you've got plenty of water to keep cool and hydrated.
I am still amazed everytime I visit here of the sheer scale of the project and how beautiful all the different plant species are. I learn something new everytime. For example, I never knew that pineapples grew so close to the ground!

A good experience, and a great wet-weather activity. A little on the expensive side, but there was a good amount of information available as well. Well worth a visit, if it's within budget.

I really wanted our family to have the kind of experience that so many have said they had in these reviews. Unfortunately there were so so so so many people in the Project that it was no where near possible to get close to things, to stop and look, to even get a space at any of the cafes. We gave up and left at the point we joined the back of the queue just to get into the biodomes which was so long it meant all hope deserted us (this is after having queued half an hour to park, almost that to get our pre-booked passes -people who didn't prebook had an even longer wait, queued and given up for lunch; no seating) and literally jostled our way round the park to get to the biomes. We are going to come back and try again and I hope it will be a different experience.

Amazing place to go! Perfect with families, couples and on your own. Very informative, creative and peaceful enviroment, friendly and helpful staff. Biomes are amazing and I honestly wanted to stay in rainforest! Once we got hungry we had a variety to choose from with vegan options of locally produced food. Best thing is that we can come back for free whenever we want this year!!!

Sigh. The aims of this place are very admirable indeed but it can't take away from the fact that this is an expensive day out with less reward than expected. I've wanted to come here years and have to say I was under-whelmed. There's next to no interpretation for young children except for buying a children's guide on top of the already expensive entrance fee. And for adults it's not that accessible either. If it's on your bucket list, cross it off and don't go. It's a tick box destination that can handle big crowds.

I have been here several times and never had such a bad meal. The new layout and self service restaurant is badly organised. Eating in the domes would have been much nicer had I known.

Not as good as expected. Yes there is a good amount of different plants and interesting ecosystems created, but I was disappointed because a lot of areas seemed to have been neglected and in need of improvement; poor cleanliness of WC, food in the downstairs cafe dry and pale (no taste), expensive souvenirs. Don't think I will be returning.

Fantastic domes and garden but let down badly by the lack of customer service and disappointing food. The service we recieved whilst purchasing food was dreadful then the food was barely warm and very small portions for the price. Not a very magical experience during the Christmas holidays. The whole place seemed to be manned by students without
guidance or a clue.

This. This is unreal. For the experience alone it's worth the trip while in Cornwall or like me... the day trip from London! Epic gardens and forests. The biomes are great, friendly helpful staff, lots to see, huge selection of food, fantastic winter show and light display was incredible! Perfect trip basically!

The photos of the project area do not do it justice, as you walk down towards the Domes, you realise how impressive the place is. Everywhere you go, there's information from the the early extinction periods to present day, been there 3 times now and always see something new.

We have visited this attraction 3 times now and i have to say i was really dissapointed. Its too expensive for whats on offer. The two main domes are pretty good but the third dome is just a waste of space with a giant machine blowing bubbles the main centrepiece
The food on offer was appaling, tasteless boring and cold by the time you got it. The outside displays are looking tatty and nothing has changed. It looks like a giant garden centre with nothing to sell.
Come on management team you can do a lot better with this attraction

Place is packed with visitors even on a weekday. The rainforest dome seems to be more popular with visitors than the Mediterranean dome.
Plenty of activities for kids. Shops offering many interesting stuff that is not available elsewhere.
Buy an annual pass for the price of a single entry and you can use it throughout the year... getting it online a day before your visit and save 10pc.

A very nice place to visit, a wonderful selection of plants and their dream of education ( mixed in with a wonderful art collection) is fantastic. My favourite piece is definitely "seed", which has a spectacular sensory feel to it, engaging the viewers sight, hearing, and spacial awareness. The collection of plants and associated information plaks are astounding and engaging and I will definitely take the time to visit here again.

A fantastic place! A Photographers must! We loved every biome and region, especially the rainforest biome! The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is the cost of food. As you'd expect with this type of attraction, the price of food and drink is astronomical!

The Eden Project is one of these sites that you have to visit. A wonderful achievement in the world of both engineering and botanical conservation. It brings the kids out in adults and brings the kids closer to nature they might have never seen before. Containing a large amount of plants and different ecosystems it's quite interesting to pass from one to the other. Either at winter or during summer the project is always open
(do be careful as in winter the outside doesn't look as nice as in the blossom of spring) never less the inside always remains the same.
Recommended as one of those key visits to complete if you are within 2 hours of it as it will take your breath away.
Highly recommended for all groups.

A fantastic place. A wonderful experience. Lots to see and do. Events held. Beautiful site with stunning surroundings. The rainforest biodome was the highlight for me. Friendly and helpful staff. Can get a season pass for the price of a single entry ticket! Definitely have to experience it at least once.
Need a full day to get the best out of it.

Why is parking free? I thought they wanted to minimise the amount of carbon emitted from the site, but the place is surrounded by giant car parks! The cost of parking is included in the ticket price, so someone who walks is still charged for car parking, and someone who comes on the bus is charged twice for their transport!
I thought the project itself was really good and I agree completely with the environmental message they give, that we need to reduce our carbon footprint, otherwise we're all in trouble. But the hypocrisy in encouraging people to drive to the site was hard to ignore. They should charge for parking and reduce ticket prices by the cost of the car park charge. They also need to put in a decent bus, walking and cycle link to the site. As of September 2020 there was no bus and to walk or cycle you're on a rocky or muddy path, or going down narrow national speed limit roads.

I arrived at 11am and it was already busy however, the queue moved quickly. It is a great place to visit. There is plenty to see and do for both adults and children. There were plenty of staff around if you needed anything. I would recommend that you wear a good pair of shoes as there is a lot of walking to be done.

Looks very special. The outside garden is beautiful, the "greenhouses" very nice and special to see when you walk by. The rainforest is beautiful just like the Mediterranean part, but the expectation is more than what is offered. A nice but expensive "attraction" where you expect more than that. Expansion with climbing paradise is under construction.

An amazing place full of plants. The bioms are fascinating because of their unique architecture. The rainforest biom is pretty cool because you see many plants you haven't seen before like s starfruit tree or a cashews. The outdoor area is very nice, too. The beds are beautiful.

Incredible feat of engineering and botany to create this place, and it has grown and become more mature since our last visit 15 years ago. The rainforest biome is incredible, the Mediterranean biome so-so. The "Core" has an incredible sculpture which emits smoke vortices which the children loved, and at the time of our visit housed a spectacular exhibition of solar system photos taken by space probes. Food was good but expensive, and the wait was over 15 minutes. It was raining as we ate, and there was a shortage of cover in street food area. Space exhibition was fun - one child loved the "Trip to Mars" whilst another was bored. You can't please them all! One disappointing point of logistics given the environmental credentials of the place is that there are only two electric charging points amongst the many hundreds of spaces - a poor show and meant we drove home on fossil fuels. Overall a good day out - queues not as bad as described in other reviews.

A great place to visit in Cornwall. The biodomes are fascinating and there are lots of interesting plants around. There are also lots of plaques and models / structures that tell interesting stories around the different plants and the people who cultivate and use them. The grounds are well laid out and take you around a one way system. It's easy to spend 3-4 hours here, closer to 4 if you stop off for lunch.

Very disappointing. Expensive, disorganised and overly busy, even in a non school holiday mid week visit. Structurally and ecologically impressive, but the visitor interface is poor and cattle market elk, bus em in bus em out. Will not be recommending Eden to people and will actually discourage others.

Just wow! Absolutely stunning scenery in the domes and you can climb up a staircase into the roof area, although this is closed when it s particularly hot. The rain-forest is breath-taking. Make sure you re there well before closing time, as they stop allowing people into the car park a while before.

I have been to the Eden project a few times over a decade and love that it keeps changing. We did the Easter hunt and it was all very thought out the staff were all lovely and chilled even though there were so many children! We ate in the restaurant in the dome and the food was of a high standard. We went on a very wet drizzly day but still enjoyed it as a lot of the time we were indoors. It didn't feel busy even though the cars on the car park showed it was! The only thing I would improve are the signposting for the bus service.

the experience generally was amazing, the fact that you got to ride a bus from the car park and they are car parks are named after fruits is cool, and inside was really interesting and fun. however the food was overpriced and not amazing quality and the other part of the project was a bit boring. the gift shops sold good products but were a little overpriced.
