I was staying in the area and the Eden Project was something that was on my bucket list and have just got round to doing it - yes it is expensive but the money needed for the upkeep must be astronomical and well worth the effort

There are two biomeds and a large grounds (which takes time in itself

Demonstrations go on and also there is the viewing platform in one of the biomeds (restricted to numbers and on time slots which I did not realise!!)

Good for local schools as an educational base and worth spending time there too

YHA accommodation is on site

A public bus runs near to the main entrance/ticket office

Everything is well signposted - things are being changed all the time and whilst I will not be back within the year I hope to be back in a few years to see how things have developed - the two domes are linked
