Acres of biodiversity and plant life. Has great places to eat. Be prepared to spend the day. My favorite dome was the rain forest but they were all great. Have to mention the quality of customer care and service all queries answered quickly. Special mention to the member of staff who drove my girlfriend to our car. Book on line and if you need an electric wheelchair you can book this then as well.

Beautiful place. Been a few times now over the years and would always go back, absolutely love it. The domes are incredible and eating in the Mediterranean dome is superb.
I would also recommend camping at the yha, it's on the Eden project site (5 minutes walk to the entrance) and although you have to pay eden project entry its worth it. Get back to nature it's wonderful

the indoor garden is great and you can learn about spices and variety of plants and great for bringing kids along but the space program was disappointment when I waited for 40 min for entry under hot sun and had high hope along with excitements and poor creative made me bored. No fun at all for adults and personally I don't recommend any one to wait for that show! The staff said the machine is getting over heating often but there is no such a thing when I entered! I guess maybe staff got over heated..hehe

This place has to be visited at very least once in everyones lifetime. We loved it, was blown away from start to finish. Was exhausted by its beauty and walking. Cannot say anything negative about it. A superb experience for everyone of any age

It's an incredibly well thought out place for the whole family. Completely wheelchair and dog friendly. Huge amounts of parking, great facilities and reasonably priced food.

The biomes were utterly spellbinding. We will be visiting again. I'm sure we still haven't seen everything that's on offer. It would take days!

So far not enough staff queues to pay not enough, the core closed. The disabled car park no sign of assistance or transport. Staff in link walking anout and leaving rubbish stacked up feet deep. Overpriced disappointment so far and it doesn't look to improve.

One of the most amazing educational projects I have ever been to. The domes are mahoosive with misting/fog machines for the benefit of the plants housed within.
Lots of sculpture inside of them and was interested to see the workings of how patchouli oil is made inside one of the domes.
This is a mahoosive complex so be prepared for lots of walking. Wheelchairs are available for those less able. Staff are friendly, approachable and informative.
The eateries are expensive but I think the majority of the foods are grown on site. If you don't want to splash out on food and drink take your own picnic.
Lots of parking is available.
Suitable for all ages.
Dogs on leads are welcome only in the outside areas. They are NOT allowed in the biodomes, eateries or shop!

Brilliant adventure to be had here keep an eye out for all the free!! events for children. Easy to get round for all abilities.
Food and drink prices on par with all other places I have been too and here they seem to not mind you bringing your own food.
We come at least two/three times a month and my 3 under 5s love it.

In the heart of Cornwall is The Eden Project, two biomes which contain plants from diverse environments. The project is a source of environmental education; it encourages visitors to learn about the importance of the plants that it showcases and how they are fundamental to modern society, as well as enjoying the atmosphere of a rainforest or Mediterranean climate in the UK. It s an interesting and unique day out for adults and children alike!

Had amazing time. We are regular visitors to Eden very easy to get around on mobility scooter. one visit my scooter broke down. The staff were extremely helpful making sure my son with autism finished what he wanted to do supervised by a member of staff then loaded my scooter into the back of a minibus and took us back to the car. Staff were so helpful can't thank them enough

This place is worth visiting you need good shoes as loads of walking.
Got land train down as it was raining today it runs every 15-20 minutes between visitor centre and stage area.
Rainforest is very hot and humid camera just steamed up for a while till clime o tissed.
Loads of plants flower and other stuff to look at some area very hot some are cool. They have a cool room if you feel to hot and there is water drinking taps all over the place. Only fault we walked all the way to go up stairs to viewing platform no where below did it say it was closed as to hot today.
There are plenty of seats to eat your lunch or purchase from them looks like plenty of choices.
Mediterranean biome this was hot not so humid as rainforest loads to view from plants cactuses to vegetables.
Stage area was closed
Arena area was closed
Long walk around outdoor gardens and long walk around spiral round the core area and the zigzag through time.
Had to rush around as just don't have time to do it all.

A wonderful day out! Great for all ages!
It was raining when I went but still enjoyable as there are inside areas. There are quite a lot of stairs to get down to the main area so be prepared to walk lots!
A fantastic variety of beautiful plants and amazing recycling facilities!

From the presentation on the site and from the admission price, we expected an extraordinary botanical garden.
We were very disappointed. On the outside there are "ordinary" plants and for the most part they are either plants that do not bloom or plants with withered flowers. Biomes (beautiful as architecture) are poor in content. Overall it looks like an exhibition of plants (to show that the park has many varieties) but the presentation is not very accurate.
There are educational paths, but they are activities for small children, for older children they may already be too simple (eg the water cycle). Some activities were also broken.
In retrospect we would not have even gone for half price.

An interesting tourist attraction although quite a pricey destination if you're just looking to have a walk around.

For those who are more conversant with all things plant life and ecology, there will be plenty to keep you interested.

Absolutely love this place. It is a long drive from where we live but well worth it. Kids love exploring and you get to see and feel what the jungle really is without leaving the country :) Great place, lots of activities and DOG FRIENDLY! Good food as well - you get to try some local specialties.

Impressive conservatories, gardens and food halls.

We visited from London on the bank holiday and weren't disappointed.

The domes are massive and tease at what's inside, they're split between the Mediterranean and tropical.

The Med dome and a few other buildings are a mix of science museum and botanical gardens. Interesting but not awesome like the main dome - tropical.

The tropical dome is massive, it feels like a bit of South America's jungle has been swept up and replanted in Cornwall.

My favourite part was the viewing platform 100 ft high inside the tropical dome. The fact there is a viewing platform should give a clue to how huge it is!

Pleasantly surprised with food options ranging from a cool pizzeria in the Med dome to large food halls bursting with families. We ate a tasty salmon and veg salad followed by a fairly standard coffee.

Had a great few hours here (bit more than expected), it was one the highlights of our Cornwall/Devon trip.

Disappointing to say the least. Have seen better displays and information at THE NATIONAL BOTANIC GARDEN OF WALES which are superb!
The place will be a struggle for us older types as everything is up hill and down dale.
The Core is very morbid and a definite no-no for any woman who has suffered the scourge that is breast cancer. I mean, who wants to see a pretty picture of the inside of a breast riddled with cancer? get some sensitivity Eden!
The Biodomes were ok, but that's it, ok.
The nice booklet is vastly overpriced, the food an drink inside is again vastly overpriced.
We bought joint tickets for Eden and Heligan and to say that Heligan was better is an understatement.
Go to Heligan and give Eden a miss.

Been twice now, and will come back again this year. Well worth the ticket price.

Picnic tables dotted all over so I recommend bringing a pack lunch.

Free cloakroom by the biomes, which is a life saver as it's so hot in there, plus free water fountains inside biomes.

Really lovely and unique installations and it's easy to spend the whole day there!

Remember where you park!

Eden Cattle Market

Eden Cattle Market

Prebooked our tickets and got into the project quickly hoping this would reduce numbers and enable social distancing. A one way systems is in place, however, it was so busy that the initial walk to the bottom and through the biodomes felt like a cattle market. Felt pressured into moving forward being unable to stop to read signs, look at plants or take photos in case we inconvenienced other visitors or they just pushed past. Staff not really implementing the 2m distances apart from one on the rope bridge who wasn't wearing a mask and told us if we were able to maintain the 2m distance we wouldn't need to wear these silly masks
All in all it felt like a race around the entire project. Probably better to visit on a quieter day.

Well worth a day out, yes its not cheap, but i'd recommend using the appforcornwall app from the app store for 10% off entry prices, also if you gift aid you can return again for free for up to one year.

A great afternoon out, the Mediterranean biome is the clear winner in the "comfort stakes", but the whole setup is very impressive and very well managed, it's errr like Eden tbh. We got the yearly tickets and hope to return next year... Believe it or not hopefully on an overcast day!

I honestly was surprised at how much there was to do and learn while we visited. As a Cornwall resident I managed to secure a pass for us to use unlimited time throughout the year. I see this pass getting a lot of use. There is always something going on. Well worth a visit.

It's an interesting place, but off season the exterior attractions are bleak. The food and drink outlets are of average quality and over priced. We enjoyed the Rainforest biome, but the Mediterranean one wasn't very interesting due to it being winter. I can see why some people love the place, it's just not my cup of tea.

Wife and I visited in August this year. Great place, great and friendly staff who are helpful and knowledgeable. Not a rip off at all....the quality of the products and the prices are excellent. Will be going again...loved it.

Very interesting place to go to, some crazy facts, environment friendly. Good for kids, especially to educate them, regarding our own environment. The picture is actually taken inside the rain forest greenhouse, just to show you how different the place actually is.
Good place to spend a day without worries, do an incredible zip line through the entire park. Wheelchair access to all greenhouses also buses to take you inside and outside of the park.

We were on our holidays in Newquay and the weather wasn't very clear. We decided to visit this place as our 10yo was showing the interest. He was very pleased with the visit. It's something I would say is worth seeing but not necessary come back as it's a bit expensive. We all enjoyed the stay.

Way to expansive for what you get. The gardens aren t that elaborate or impressive and you almost trip over all the shops and stalls which make it seem like one big cash cow. They say the project has an educational purpose however we found the information and explanations in the gardens very limited.
This is more an amusement park for the masses than a botanical garden worth your time and money.

We bought local passes - if you live in Cornwall or Devon postal areas the discounted price is only 10 pounds, but you need to take proof of address. Otherwise more than 50 pounds for two tickets would have seemed very steep and would have put us off going. The biomes were excellent places, the rainforest one more so. Can imagine that in school holiday season it may get really busy. Right now (early June) seemed to be a good time, plenty of things growing in the external flower beds.

It's like a theme park for plants on a large scale. Well organized and full of interesting plants and sculptures to look at. The biomes seem to have descended from the future and they are a highlight all by themselves. I've never been anywhere quite like it. Well done people for having the imagination to create such a place.

Unique and wonderful place to visit for anyone interested in ecology and our environment. The story time show was fantastically entertaining and educational for kids and adults alike (July 2019)!

Had a lovely day out. The children love it here. We booked skating and had lovely time the guy driving the tractor and serving at the counter could not have been more helpful. Two of the ice stewards were lovely, 1 was horrendous. I have never met such a nasty, spiteful and horrible lady. Lorraine or something like that. I tried to catch her name as I was appalled by her customer service and manner. I wanted to report her there and then. Awful woman. Spoilt the day for my wife and I. The kids were none the wiser. It was a little sparse on the display and attraction stakes elsewhere.

Visually stunning and very educational. Especially enjoyed the viewing platform overlooking the rainforest. View was spectacular. Although we went here in the school summer holidays and we expected it to be busy, it never felt that we were crowded whilst we were walking around the Biomes. The restaurants were understandibly busy, but I wouldn't say we were standing in queues for too long. The walk from the car park to the Biomes was pleasant although there is a shuttle service if needed. Enjoyed every minute of our visit and will definetly be back.

Incredible.

Incredible.

It IS expensive. But worth saving for a one of a kind experience like this. Also happy to contribute to a place that's doing great academic work too.

The entry fee is very expensive but worth it to know that you are helping to fund worth while environmental research. I've been twice now but there's always something new to see. The cafes are great and you can easily spend a whole day out here.

Took our children here years ago. Went back with the grandchildren. Was disappointed when we went to have our lunch. Grandchildren choose fishcakes which sounded great only to be told by the server that there would be a 15 minute wait for the next ones to be ready. Not the experience we wanted with two grandchildren under 8.

Well worth a visit if you're in this part of the world. Parking is fairly easy and then there's a bus to take you into the main park.

Lots of places to explore: both inside and out. Outside has lots of exhibits to keep you interested and it's worth a walk around the higher parts of the park, to see the views and get away from the crowds (not that it's too busy).

Inside, there are the biomes, a number of cafes and rest areas. The tropical biome is excellent and slightly sci-fi because of the archtecture.

The food is very good and it's much more than burger & chips.

Worth the long trip to Cornwall on it's own... Hope this is the future for all mankind and not just the last remaining elitists after we killed off most of the planet in our drive for wealth.

I love this place! I've been here several times and I could never get bored. The amount of fauna on display here in the Eden project is outstanding! Try the Baobab drink at the end of the tropical Biome!

If you are not really into plants this is just kind of something for you. You still got these adventure attractions for people who like to have more action then walking 3+ hours through different parts of the world. When you first enter the park the first thing u see are these huge, yeah the kind of look like balls. One thing you may remember: You can easily spend a hole day in the parc and it won't get boring.

One of the centre-pieces of the Eden Project is the world's largest indoor rainforest - depending on how excited you are about this is a good indicator of if this attraction is for you.

There is a really incredibly display of flora from all over the world, and as the paths playfully wind around it really makes the Eden Project feel much bigger than it is. Most of all, the biomes are really impressive and a real all-weather attraction.

If botanical gardens are not your thing and you are going as a large family, you are likely to consider it over-priced. But since the Eden Project is actually a charity, all the funding goes back into running and developing the site and I personally think it's a fantastic place.

If my review and photos were helpful for you, please give me a thumbs up Thanks!
