We LOVE The Eden Project. Have been visiting pretty regularly since it first opened and there is always something new to see or do. It's been wonderful to see it grow over the years.
Definitely a 'must see' experience!

Visited last weekend, absolutely great even though the weather outside was awful. Haven t visited for several years so was interested to see how the plants & trees have grown in both biomes. The new walkway in the Rainforest Biome is great and gives a good view over the canopy. The Mediterranean Biome has been improved since I visited previously and looks great, a really good range of interesting plants in there and arranged really well. Topped off with a really nice, hearty lunch in the cafe between the two biomes.

Excellent day out, even in the wet! Long queues for food but it moved quickly and was definitely worth it. Plenty to see and do. A word of advice: pre book your zip wire treat, booking on the day can leave you waiting hours!

A unique place to spread the concept of biodiversity and conservation. I do like the concept of its intent however not sure as to the amount of carbon footprint it used to create this amazing place and I appreciate sometimes you need to create to spread. I thought the cost per person was a bit on the high side but then again it does allow you more entries in a year. A wonderful day out with the family to just enjoy nature and learning a lot in return. oh did I forget, you could meet the local Gorilla named Gerald.

If you are just slightley disabled give it a miss . After a long walk downand you go inside you have a lot of walking up and down . Also I thought the tropical forest looked very amature . The only good thing is a train to take you back to the car park . Very over priced

Amazing place, really out of this world experience. Lovely weather, lovely ice cream and amazing staff. We spent most of the day walking through the different biomes. Lots of useful information and learning opportunities at Eden. You also get annual pass for the same price of your tickets. Only downside it's a 4 hour drive for us.

Great family day out. Been going for years, and have only just discovered how many amazing things that there are too see around the site without even going in the biomes. It's well worth exploring around!

It was last year, I visited this place while returning from Penzance. Its a man made marvel that was constructed almost out of nowhere. You can see two major greenhouses in bubble shapes- Mediterranean and Rain forest biome with rain forest treetop walk. The core, seed sculpture, outdoor garden, Baobab bar, zip wire, children nest climb, eve sculpture and giant bee are some of must see attractions. Remember, rain forest biome has artificial waterfall too which always moistens the air. The treetop walk is similar to that of Kew Gardens Treetop walk but it is inside the biome. The treetop walk is free to enter so you may have to be in queue and remember to be first in line otherwise towards day time, especially during summer, the temperature rises and nobody is allowed to walk on the walkway. If you miss it, its like you missed something after visiting this far!

Don't forget to taste Baobab drink, which sounds expensive but worth to try, at least once! There are three restaurants, as always and most of the places, they are expensive just like their tickets! whenever you visit such places, keep in mind you are going to contribute in one way or other :-)
They do have lots of exotic plants from around the world including banana, cashew and others which is real attraction.

If you are adventure sport lover- probably the longest in UK, zip flier is there. The core, seed sculpture are other must see places. Eve sculpture is another watchable place in Mediterranean biome which has lots of merry making sculptures. Outside is a giant bee which was different than the poster/broucher - it looked old and worn out! The wings had started falling out! They do have wide variety of Dahlia. Don't forget to take photographs.

A day is enough for this trip, if you are nature lover or just a common man looking something for change- it is best place to be with your children.

The jungle biome is pretty epic with it's pathway gradually taking you higher through the jungle up to the waterfall. The mediterranean is somewhat interesting and pleasant to look around. Beyond that though there isn't an awful lot to see or do here given the large entry price.

Botanical garden with environmental protection concept If you are not interested in plants, it is like watching a museum for people who are not interested in art. The place is not very big, but it is also good to go shopping for a day. Children will like it very much. They are all adults and children. Tickets are too expensive!

Absolutely disgusting the amount of people they let in makes it impossible to enjoy the domes it seems dangerous at times and the wait for food is a nightmare. For the price it s a complete rip off. Will not be coming back

I've been wanting to go to The Eden Project all my life. It is an amazing place, a feat of engineering and there are loads of little windy paths and planting schemes to discover.

However, I've marked it only 3 stars because, for the entry price, I was disappointed with the upkeep. It was VERY weedy, I visited in September and a lot of stuff was going over but hadn't even been dead-headed. I'm all for gardening for wildlife BUT for the price I was expecting it to be immaculate. Also, whilst the biomes are amazing, its 2019 and you can also find some incredible tropical houses in various zoos and gardens across the country.

Due to my Husband s career in Horticulture we really enjoy visiting different gardens.
We really enjoyed our day, although think the price of tickets is a little too much. Great if you live close by as you can visit as many times as you want with your ticket for the year, but not so great when it s a 7 hour drive away. We booked our ticket s online (saving 10%) and arrived early to avoid any cues. We got straight in and began our day.
Deciding to do the Mediterranean and Rainforest Biomes before the crowds began was a great idea. As we were finishing in them many people were entering, getting very busy and loud.
We really enjoyed seeing Earth Story learning about climate change and biodiversity loss, but it was disappointing with the amount of children running around through the demonstrations making loads of noise. (Needed a staff member there to remind ignorant parents to get their children to behave)

I wish all old mines can be turned I to this kind of place. Its amazing that us humans have the ability to destroy but also create. Take the family there to treat all your senses. Some amazing displays of plants for all over the world. It's a great day out.

Visited on May bank holiday. There were lots of visitors but plenty of room. The atmosphere was fantastic and the entertainment provided by all the choirs was brilliant. Had a lovely lunch which was very tasty. The coffee was also very nice served by cheerful pleasant staff.

Absolutely amazing! The 2 biomes were extremely well done! The jungle biome had a viewing point that was really high up! The Mediterranean one was less filled but still amazing, we got the land train(tractor) from the ice rink to the visitor center,

This place is fantastic, a credit to the staff and people who run it. Both the main domes are great to tour (The large dome is a much longer tour than the smaller one). The food is fairly priced and all super healthy and tasted amazing. There was a space exploration event on while we went and the kids loved it (And so did we parents!). The lab building was great too and we spent quite a while in there too. Beautiful place. Make sure you're fit though, you'll certainly get your workout for the day if you view everything! It's not cheap but you can re-use your tickets throughout the year and there's plenty of deals out there for the attraction.

Extremely disappointing! If you enjoy walking around looking at plants I recommend it, however, nothing to interact with. The highlight of the day was the space event which was actually interesting

If you're planning to visit on a wet day: Don't. It's a miserable overcrowded experience. You won't be able to walk around the biomes just shuffle through with everyone else - rather like a London underground platform in rush-hour - unable to see any of the information boards. And definitely don't take your dog: Despite claims of dogs being welcome is most definitely not dog-friendly - a two page leaflet, issued on arrival, tells you what your canine friend cannot do!

Poor customer relations. I visited last year and saw something in the shop which I wanted to buy but couldn't fit it in the car. However, I was told by the shop staff to look on the website and if the product was not on there I could simply ring up and they would send it to me. Did that today and was told they couldn't help with no apology. Great shame.

Great place, easy to find, did not eat, as we had our bin and cheese, fry fish, from Good Friday We traveled from far, stayed over night at a wonderful hotel. Then comfortable the next morning drive, which was only a 10mins drive from the hotel we stayed at. We got the whole year paaa, which is great. We will be visiting again. Totally worth it, great energy and vibes inside.

I went with my Mrs. Neither of us are particularly interested in plants or conservation.

Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable/interesting time, we had a coffee / cake and went round all of the Biomes and we were in and out in just over 3 hours, I was reading many of the info-boards as well, so estimate that for the time you will take

The Mediterranean Biome was OK, the Tropical one was the best, but it was a lot more hot and humid - We went in early Feb and it was still 26 degrees - Apparently it can get to over 40 degrees in the summer so take water and sun cream if you go in the warmer months.

Inside they do events in a separate tent, over winter they have Ice Skating which is nice. Some outdoor areas and other bits to see.

I'm glad that I went but not that I had to pay to get in :-)

I love the Eden project and it is enjoyed every time. It does cost a lot to visit especially if we only visit once in the year, but I think the cost is worth it especially if it is a first visit.

Disappointing: far too many people, endless queues, expensive, over-branded. Felt like a shopping mall. The beauty and stillness of the place when I first visited many years ago, has been sacrificed imo

The Eden project is a must visit destination, as this place is truly unique. We had a really good look around and has a nice drink in the gin bar however we spent about 1:30 hours there which does not seem a lot of time when we paid 50 pounds for two tickets.

The Eden Project is a gorgeous day out if you can get a beautiful sunny day. I would advise against it if not however you will still arguably enjoy it depending on how weather affects you personally. The gardens here are gorgeous, you can see where they make their crafts here which is also a nice touch. The Domes are an experience, personally I find the rainforest dome the only one that is actually an attraction as the Mediterranean dome has become a restaurant, albeit a good one.
Sadly there are also many negatives, the place is expensive and many locations inside are also designed purely to strip you of your cash. Tourist trap at its best. Thankfully these are all optional and avoidable to many degrees.
Despite that large personal negative, my 5 star rating is based on the many sunny visits I've had where it's been a truly magical experience.

Really good experience, staff were moderately friendly but don't seem like they would go above and beyond, they're just there to get paid. The Mediterranean exhibit doesn't seem to have a lot going on but the rest of the experience was great, reasonable enough priced

Family day out and worth every penny,
Wonderful weather (sarcasm) but indoors it was brilliant to see the place for the 1st time.
Decided to wait until now since being built to see all shrubs, trees and plants in thier midterm growth and very pleased I did.
Welcoming staff and helpful when asked upon for help.
Great reading about different locations and understanding about different sources of habitat.
I'd recommend coming here not only to experience the outstanding garden but also the wonderful food within the many different restaurant's.
Thanks team, looking forward to returning.

Really good day out - weather helped but the different experiences made it worth every penny (which can be classed as a gift aid payment too). Number of additional [paid for] activities too such as a zip line over the top of the bio-domes add to the flavour.

Expensive, but the effort they have put in in this "garden" is amazing! You can learn a lot and be surprised in many ways. Beautifull place to discover nature from around the world.

It is sad to give the Eden Project 1 star as they do have some fantastic exhibits. ....However (and it is a big HOWEVER), for a facility that describes itself as educational and is well aware that animal agriculture is directly responsible for a large proportion of global warming, global starvation, rainforest destruction and the extinction of species, I find it incredible that they push dairy ice cream and all animal products in the outlets and restaurants with very limited plant options......Double standards Eden Project....

At least for visitors from Germany not worth a visit. There are cheaper (no family ticket, 50% off voucher books are behind the entrance = Touritsenabzocke) and better "botanical gardens". In the area it is often very crowded, because it is just in England such a special place that many visitors come. Long queuing at the viewing platform is inevitable. The dome itself is the highest, but does not justify entry (70 pounds 2 adults 2 teenagers). The plant is much too small compared to the gardens of Trautmannsdorf near Merano or the big botanical gardens in Berlin, Munich and so on.

Very disappointing that a place that puts climate and sustainability as its goal - serves meat and dairy and other animal products at its restaurant and cafes!!

The animal industry destroys the world. Their goal (Eden Project) should be to end the injustice that is caused to animals worldwide and to stop the contamination of our environment. The Aninal Industry is also the number one health hazard in humans causing cancer, heart disease, diabetes and autoimmune diseases.

That's a from me, but all in all beautiful place, well done and funded. Definitely worth visiting as they have a lot of positive projects, but as for now not delivering!

Not that great if you are looking for nice looking green spaces with inspiring plants to spend time in, even before you consider the over-inflated price.

I spent 1 hour and managed to see all of it, though i was told could easily spend a whole day there...

Our second visit (after 13 years) was again very impressive. Anyone who is interested in gardens and also wants to learn something about ecological and cultural backgrounds is in good hands here. You should bring a lot of time, because there is so much to see! Unbelievable, what emerged from a biologically as good as dead industrial fallow. Highly recommended!

After queuing for over an hour we was told on arriving at the entrance that the car parks was full and there was no further admittance even though the traffic from the other direction was still allowed in.... Poor management.

A Environment Education project which is a must go for children... The plants here are labelled with their medicinal uses. The rainforest dome was fascinating and make sure to leave your jackets outside it's too warm inside ... loved the concept of Eden Bronze Leaves(can b personalized) a perfect way to honour a milestone or remember someone special.

Second time visiting the Eden Project and enjoyed it once again. It's matured alot since we first visited in 2007, which made it quite a different experience, which was nice.

The stars of the show are undoubtedly the biomes, particuarly the Rainforest one with it's raised walkway and free roaming birds.

The grounds away from the biomes are also looking fabulous, with some really impressive planting and features.

The only downside is that a lot of the interative, hands-on elements are currently closed due to the Covid restrictions, but this is totally understandable, hence why it has not affected my rating. At the end of the day, that's a good reason to come back again in the future!

I last went to Eden Project a year after it opened, so it was good to go back after all this time. The place has changed alot since, for the better. The grounds are amazing. The flowers out superb. The domes were excellent. Only down sides very slow where you have to pay + getting food at outside pasty stall - only 1 person serving it took alomost 30mins to get served.

Was really looking forward to a visit .Then I got there . Vastly overcrowded to the extent you had to fight your way in and then had no time to actually look at anything having to spend most of the time looking where you put your feet for fear off stepping on small children .It is not a place for toddlers and pushchairs . Did not help having kids entertainers shouting into microphones . In short it may be a great place if a quiet day but vert disappointed .Had booked in advance and had to que for ten minutes for entrance there was no mention that part of it was closed and no price reduction either , Wont go again and feel it was waste of time and money

Wow lovely garden's. And an insite to the conservation need in the world.

I received a letter with a halve hearted apology and a offer of a cheque as a refund and although people my think I'm being petty, but I live 6 miles from my.bank, and to be honest why should be out of pocket on parking to take a cheque in.
And for such a big company, who can take payment by card whilst your there but they CANNOT do a refund over the phone. Funny that because everywhere I've worked or even had a refund you can do it on any PDQ machine.

It's definitely a quirky interesting place in parts and very educational for kids, and you have to admire the immense time, love and effort that has gone into it. Though like most major tourist attractions, it is also very over-priced but somewhere you feel you need to visit when you go to Cornwall. It's worth a visit, but I also feel it's an overhyped place.

Absolutely stunning collection of plants and architecture. As a visitor with limited mobility I was happy to find the disabled parking only 90m away and free use of the wheelchairs that were waiting by the dozen in the car park.
As it is an old quarry, some of the paths are a bit steep, so the person pushing you will need strong calves. There are mobility scooters, I believe, if you call in advance.
A couple of the surfaces may cause issues if you have chronic pain, but for the most part, through the biomes and gardens they're a smooth ride.
The gardens and biomes are fantastic. As you'd expect.

Other things to note from a wheelchair perspective: A couple of the displays about the manufacture of something are above waist height.
The cloud bridge is amazing but it is a complete blindspot, someone won't be happy when they walk into the chair.
The door from the plant shop into the gift shop is a large heavy door that will need extra assistance.
Quiet a lot in the shop is above waist height too, I ended up using my walking stick around it as it was becoming a stressful situation in the wheelchair.

The accessible toilets also have an audio description of the layout. First time I'd seen that feature.

Great day out, make sure you are into walking. There are some things shut out of the summer season, but still worth a visit, just worth knowing that you might not get to see it all. The rainforest biodome is amazing!!! Especially the waterfall and cloud bridge.
