Leased a Chevy Cruze for 4 years and the headaches never stopped. In fact they got worse when I returned it. They seem to have no correspondence with GM Financial. Both sides accuse the other of not doing their jobs, meanwhile I m the one chasing both sides down so they can exchange the proper documentation. I reminded them that my lease was up and it wasn t my car anymore but that didn t seem to matter to them. I was hung up on by someone named Alison. It s the blind leading the blind there. When the questions or problems are simple, sure they can provide an answer with a confident smile. When it requires them to do anything more than the bare minimum, they become completely useless. I will never deal with the GM brand again. I will strongly encourage anyone me close to me to not do business with them. I strongly encourage you save yourself the headache and do the same.

I was referred by a friend recently to go to Dueck and I was very happy with my service. Right from the beginning, my customer service rep Coral was super friendly and made booking an appointment easy. She even pointed out that I had an open recall on my vehicle, which I was not aware of! At my appointment all the service advisors were very helpful and I will definitely be going back for regular maintenance. Thanks Dueck!

I had amazing experience buying a vehicle with Dueck Downtown, It only took two visits to finalize everything including car loan and other paperwork, being an immigrant I never thought car loan would be that easy for me but it was possible with excellent guidance from my rep. Mak Makalai and his team.
It was not all about sale like other typical car dealers, Mak gave me a genuine and honest advise like my elder bro would.

Great Service,my wife and I bought a used 2011 Cadillac CTS-4 from their showroom, very happy with our purchase. Mack was very helpful in showing the car to us, when we walked into the dealership he made us feel welcome, showed us the car took us for a test drive , told us about the history of the car, Mack was not that pushy type of a sales person we all try to avoid when in a dealership. I got a new truck from this place and a car a year after , sales services is excellent and the truck I bought is awesome no problems at all.
But after almost 2 years of bringing the truck for service , every time I m in Dueck downtown for service is a bad experience for me , service seems to be not as professional as it should be . I got a more than one bad experience to share

Most disgraceful dealer i have ever dealt with.. Ive been a long time customer of Dueck GM and I am confident to say that Dueck Marine & Dueck Richmond have been truly amazing..however the sales & service experience from this downtown location is shockingly unacceptable.

Bought a brand new 2015 fully loaded chevy impala 2ltz few months ago. Car was sitting in their showroom for a while and it had a broken door handle and some minor scratches when it was sold to me. It was fine since its Dueck (I used to deal with other two locations a lot and they were awesome), I didnt have second thought at all making a deal with them as they promised to have it fixed in a week since I was told that some parts need to be ordered.

I picked up the car and called back the service in a week later for status check and no one knows what is going on with my vehicle and I was told that there was no RO opened or parts order neither... which means no one looked at my car last time! Why did they lie about ordering parts then? When I came in to confront them the door handle got fixed right away.. As for the scratches..God.. It took them more than a month to have it done.. Hearing all kinds of excuses and having to deal with them back and forth even without a courtesy vehicle which they originally promised is the worst brand new car purchase experience ever..

Had a flat tire two months later. Thought it might be a good idea to give them a second chance since I bought the car there.. Guess what..Went to pick up my car after service and found my car with the rims all bent, sitting in the parking lot the trunk wide opened with all my personal belongings in there..Not to mentioned that I founded out the hub rings weren't installed properly when they put the rims back on afterwards( by driving on the highway and my car started to viberate all of sudden and i could barely stay in my own lane) I was very disappointed and asked to speak to the management..A service advisor and a shop foreman came out talking extremely rude and told me it was not easy to take the rim off and thats why its damaged... Wow...

I grew up on GM's vehicles and it means a lot more than just cars to me... I do understand they have a lot of clients to deal with after all however the way they treat their customers like that Its just not the Chevy I used to know anymore.. And Im sure that I ain't the only person who needs to speak up about this.

I have been hearing a lot of similar experiences from the people i know who used to deal with this particular location once in a while. I am just quite SURPRISED that no one has done anything about this location so far...

If you HAVE TO come to this location,ask for Ryan the sales manager. He is the only one that seems to be able to help you out with what you need. Otherwise, just drive a few miles down to Marine location in order to save you some time.. It isn't that far anyways. Trust me, ITS WORTH THE TRIP...

Working with the team at Dueck Motors (Downtown) was a great experience. All of the team members, from sales to finance and parts, communicated clearly with each other. At no time did I ever feel pressured about the sale.

I recently began a search for a specific vehicle make, model and appearance, which I located online at Dueck GM Downtown. After 2 test-drives about 2 weeks apart, and trying other vehicles in the interim, I purchased the vehicle I had found at Dueck GM Downtown. My experience with the process from start to finish was excellent. My sales representative, Howard Zhang, was personable, patient and accommodating, answering my many questions and providing various information upon request.

During the purchase phase, Howard arranged the assessment of my trade-in vehicle and liaised with his sales manager seamlessly. The price and trade-in negotiations were concluded in no time at all, without pressure, and left me satisfied that I had received a deal that was more than fair. The Financial and Services Manager, Joe Nadon, was equally pleasant and efficient, completing the necessary paperwork quickly, and explaining purchase and other options clearly. When I advanced the vehicle delivery date by a day, Howard was able to arrange its detailing and other preparation at short notice. I was able to speak with 2 of the staff members responsible for the detailing - they took time to explain their process to me, which I appreciated.

It would be an understatement to say that I was very impressed with this dealership and its staff, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, new or used.

I've been coming to Dueck for years. I used to deal with either Jeff Or Danny and it was always great I recently came in and a new Advisor was there I think his name was Daniel. He told me he that if I wanted a good price on my bill that I had to bring him either a case of beer or wine and was extremely pushy i will never be back

My Sales Advisor, Zlatko, is exceptionally accountable, patient, honest and quick to respond to my inquires. I am happy with my decision and look forward to driving it.

Good experince. Great modern showroom and well stocked with new and prestine lightly used vehicles. The sales rep, Mak, was knowledgeable and we never felt any pressure for the sale. All the staff that worked for us were professional with a warm demeanour.

The service personnel attitude is horrible. Suggest go elsewhere for car service.

I just got back from Liberia, and it is about time I give credit and personally thank Dueck Downtown service department and Danny from service and the Mechanic who stayed late for me. I brought in an Ambulance which I intended to take overseas to provide medical relief, the 1st ever Ambulance in Liberia. The bus has been running fantastically and is remaining there. I am a volunteer fighter in Kamloops, we got the bus donated from Vancouver and it had a problem on the way home. Danny in the service department as well as the mechanic who worked on the ambulance for me and knew i was waiting to go back to Kamloops, both stayed quite awhile past their shifts to try and get it going for me, unfortunately they could not get it running properly after putting in the new part. they told me I could take it and try it and if it didn't clear itself once I hit highway speeds I would have to bring it back so they could continue the next day. I took it and it didn't clear so I bought it back. Danny was off work now and was just driving home from wherever he went after work, he seen me walking from Dueck and turned around and came back and asked if I needed a ride somewhere, then he drove me around downtown and helped me find a hotel for the night. I had to fly home in the morning, later that week when the bus was finished and ready to go, Danny offered to drive it to me in Kamloops on his day off and fly back. Absolutely amazing service I was blown away by you guys. Thank you again.

I have bought a few vehicles from Dueck Downtown. I keep going back to them because of the service I get from James Brennen and Ryan the sales manager. James was instrumental in acquiring a C7 ZR1 for me. With his efforts I was able to get a very hard to get car and build it to my specs ...... my dream car!! I can't thank him enough. Came in for a recall issue. They did other work and didn't tell me until after that I would have to pay. Electronics were shot when I picked it up. Totally unhelpful throughout the process. Awful communication. Wasted time and money.

They have been taking care of my pickup for 15 years, it has 190000 kms and runs like it's still new. The new service person Marco, is as honest as they come and will only fix what is needed.

I just purchased a 2017 Silverado from James Brennan. I was on a budget and had very specific requests when it came to options (model, trim, color, accessories, etc.). After striking out at another dealership, I decided to give Dueck Downtown a try and James was able to source me exactly the truck I was looking for within my budget. He even personally delivered it to me (I am 2hrs outside of the city) on a Friday evening of a long weekend so I didn't have to miss a shift at work! Totally unexpected, much appreciated. You need a new truck, talk to James he will hook you up.

First oil change after I bought my vehicle took 5 hours while I sat at the dealership. The second took 3 hours. We were called after 1hr 45min to pick up my truck, then waited for another hour and 15 mins. When we looked at the truck after it dried the paint job was completely scratched and swirled.
The service is bad, the quality is bad and the price is way way to much for such poor execution.

Walked around the whole place and around the middle sales area. I work ft in construction for over a year now and my bills are fairly cheep. Wanting to look at a Chevy Spark and get some monthly pricing. Not one person said hi, how may I help you? Instead they were too busy on their phones or social gathering. Oh well maybe the place on Marine drive will say hi.

Just want to give a shout out to the sales person Zlatko. We showed up 1/2 hour before they closed and had this poor guy show us 6 different cars, having him run back and forth grabbing keys.

He never made us feel rushed, had the right answers to all our questions and made some excellent comments and recommendations.

It was like having an experienced friend along to help us look at cars.

The dealership it's self was great: clean, close, and had all the types of cars we were interested in one place.

Hakim had been awesome looking after the warranty work on all the vehicles i bought from Dueck while he was at marine.The new vehicles i bought were 1996 z24,1999 camaro convertible .2000 mustang convertible 2002 transam with t roof and 2008 escalade.Hakim had been very helpful and even today i send my friends to dueck in downtown . cheers

Save yourself the trip and go to a different dealer if you re looking for parts!

I came in with the intention to buy a case of MTF Synchromesh, but left without it.

When I arrived there was no one up front, but I could visually see someone stocking parts and doing inventory. It took roughly 5 minutes for me to get his attention. Afterwards I gave him the part number and he struggled to find the item. At this point I found a different part number online, but before I could even give him a different part number he hastily took an incoming call and brushed me off. I continued to wait for several minutes, but he did not acknowledge or seem to be in any hurry to help me out.

Something that should ve been a quick in/out under a few minutes turned into a 20 minute affair with no results.

This is not the dealer for you if you re looking for a competent parts department!

I purchased a preowned chevy cruze for my wife from kimberly at dueck downtown. I have been looking for a new car for 2 months untill i ran into kimberly. And then i purshased my new car in a half a day. Working with kimberly was the easiest person i have ever worked for. There should be more kimberlys out there! happy customer

This is where I take my car first service. Honest and reliable.

Ryan the sales manager is dishonest. He blew a lot of smoke up my ass but never followed up. The service manager told me " it was none of my business" when I met him and I asked him where he was from, he apologized right after but it was hella odd. I would not return, I would not buy.

Additionally everyone is a salesmen there, they get 25% commission and zero wage so when you walk in all they see is a money bag.

My experience? Awful. Slow service, did not return my calls, and expensive. The only saving grace is that they're polite, but that doens't get your car fixed.

Staff was very friendly. I was helped by Darren when looking at a Camaro and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Not sure if I will get the Camaro, but only because of the limited practicality of a muscle car.

I wanted to extend a sincere thank you to Enzo G in sales and Sabrina D in Service. My wife and I recently bought a 2018 Trax from Dueck Downtown and had to share my experience. I wanted to extend a thank you to Enzo who made our car buying experience a fantastic one. Enzo was courteous, patient, Knowledgeable and overall fantastic from start to finish. During the delivery process he explained all features and made sure the car was to perfection before i drove away. Shortly after delivery we had an issue with one of the door locks not working and had to bring it in for service. We were directed to Sabrina D in the service department. She was knowledgeable, courteous and quick to deliver the car back to us so we can get back to enjoying our 2018 trax. They even washed the car for us which was fantastic and even got out some sticky residue that was on the inside of the car. The service from the sales process to the service department was phenomenal and i would highly recommend Dueck to anyone.This was a 5 star experience and again thank you to Enzo and Sabrina and team Dueck downtown for the great service. We will be back.

Ms. Kimberley Kim was courteous and knowledgeable about the products of the dealership. I was shopping for a electric model i.e. Volt. Ms. Kim was able to walk through each and every benefits and functions of the car. I found the experience at Dueck Downtown an excellent!

Picked up a new Chevy Spark for a great price. The salesman Barry was very knowledgeable about the cars and was happy to let us take a test drive. Walked away with a great car and exceptional service from everyone.

Went with my mother to help her look at 2019 Malibu. The salesman Mak was incredibly helpful. We had looked at several other Malibu s at other places, but Dueck was the most helpful and best priced.

Any concerns we had about the car after it was purchased was followed up and corrected right away with out any problems.

Overall it was a very positive experience and would not hesitate to use Mak again and purchase another vehicle from Dueck

We recently purchased a used vehicle from Dueck Downtown. As we do not live in the Vancouver area we basically had to do all communications by text prior to coming over for a test drive. Although nervous at first we were not disappointed in the least with the service we received from Zlatko and Alborz, the 2 very helpful sales reps that looked after us. Due to their excellent help we are now proud owners of a 'new to us' vehicle. Highly recommend!

Took my car in about a week ago for routine maintenance. I used to deal with Chandrika for a long time but was very disappointed when I was told that she doesn't work there anymore. The person I dealt with was not only rude but tried to sell me on services I didn't need. Whenever I dealt with Chandrika she was honest and not pushy at all. I guess Dueck has lost a customer . I will not be back after going to Dueck for years

The staff and management at Dueck was very professional with the buying and selling of my vehicles, Kimberly the sales person was very good on her follow up and explaining all the features of the new truck. Its nice to do business with very professional car dealerships....love the truck.

My wife and I picked up a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Dueck Downtown. We found the staff to be very helpful, organized and professional.

I don't normally write reviews, but I do take the time to read what others write. I am influenced by others experience with a business and its staff. If someone takes the time to write about a business, I think it is important to read. I went to Dueck Downtown on Terminal in Vancouver. I was feeling skeptical of dealing with a car dealership. I was immediately surprised by the friendliness of the staff. There were no pressured sales pitches. I received sound information about the car I was interested in. I was happy that they were able to create a flexible payment plan that worked for my current budget.

I would highly recommend anyone to Dueck Downtown especially my experience with Jennet and Darren. She answered my text message in a timely manner and invited me to come to the dealership. He was friendly and informative about the product; I did not feel pressure into buying a vehicle. I am now driving my new car, and it s everything I hoped to get plus more. I will return to Dueck in the future; I feel it s a car dealership I can trust.

My car blew a rad hose on Saturday June 3 at 9am as I pulled into the dealership. I park the car in front of service department. Went in hopefully to get it in but not expecting it. They looked at it Saturday and said the part was discontinued as Pontiac is no more. They found an aftermarket hose on Monday but wouldn't be in for 7-10 days no problem as I understand parts are hard to find for my Pontiac G8GT. Fast forward to Tuesday June 13 9 am I receive a call telling me my parts are in and when do I want to bring my car in?!?!?! I said "right now as my car has been sitting in front of your service door all week"!!! She says "Ok well we can get it in tomorrow at 9 does that work"?!?!? "Oh and you have a flat tire." I told you that I had a slow leak and asked if you could fix it a week ago!!! You would think when my parts came in that they would get it in as soon as possible. The only call I should have received was you telling me my car is done and to come pick it up!! NOT PLEASED WITH THIS SERVICE.

Had an absolutely miserable experience here. I waited almost four full hours and never had any indication it would take anywhere near that long, and then they charged me $130 more than I had been led to believe I would be charged. Stay away from this place; I didn't even get a carwash!

Sales guy didn't really know anything about trucks and he ignored questions from my wife. What century are we in?

I took my Buick here religiously for 3 years. My reward for this loyalty was an attempt by the service department to cheat me into spending over 2000$ on replacing the A/C. I was shocked and disappointed. The Dueck service department gave me a written report telling me there was 0 psi in the the A/C system. I took the car to a local garage where we found out that there was 175 psi and all that was needed was a 200$ system recharge. I will never go to Dueck again.

I have had nothing but excellent service from this dealership. I don't know a lot about cars, this dealership makes me feel comfortable and safe. I would recommend this to any of my friends.

I recently had to bring my car in for some maintenance work of which everyone knows can be costly. My service consultant Armando was excellent, VERY knowledgeable, professional and went out of his was to accommodate me. He did his best to help with the cost, took the time when my car was done to bring me out to my car, show me all of the changes they had made and explained how they would affect things like my fuel mileage. If you are worried about your vehicle and do not have an extensive knowledge about cars I would highly recommend seeing Armando.

Kimberly s soft (at times humorous) approach put us at ease navigating the used car market. She was aware of our budget and helped us stick to it. I recently bought my first brand new car at this dealership. Al, the salesman was great and was able to get me exactly what I wanted. My life has changed since I bought this car and it is wonderful to know that I have a reliable and cute little vehicle that looks good and can do the job. I highly recommend these people. 1- I was new in canada and I purchased a car from this branch my car was lease and they pushed me in application to purchase 3 year extra warranty they told it is rule for lease car . After couple months I understand they can t push me for that and I asked the manager why did you push me for that and he told no we didn t and it optional !!!!

2-In first car service for oil change I left my stuff inside car and they took my Sun Glass I couldn t get back from them.

3-In second car service I just left one necklace which I hang from my back mirror they took that too .

NOW IT IS YOUR CHOICE !!!

to bad to rate. I have bought a lot of cars, but never have I been treated so badly before buying one.. I live out of town so I was doing it on line. I started on Feb.2 have spoken to salesman on phone & email. sent pictures, sent vin #. talked more on phone. always says will get back to me next day.always 5 to 7 days later. this time it 10 days & counting. have asked for G.M. no response. it is now March 5. is this what is called customer service.

My family and I recently purchased a new GMC Canyon from Dueck Downtown in Vancouver. The experience was pleasant and relaxed from beginning to end.

Our sales rep Mak, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He introduced us to Ryan, who also had good advice. Together they helped to complete the whole purchase process.

I highly recommend these guys, they ve got this whole no pressure vibe going on.

I don't usually take my vehicle anywhere but Mr. Lube but I was very impressed with the level of customer service I received from Coral F when booking my appointment, she didn't hesitate to answer any of my questions and she managed to fit me in that day. She even gave me a follow up call to make sure everything went smoothly.

I been shopping for 2 months for a pre owned car and finally purchased a 2014 Chevy cruise. If only I could of meet Kimberly 2 months ago that would of saved me a lot of time in shopping. I'm so happy with my new purchase for my small growing family. Kimberly got me into a new pre owned whitin 24 hrs she went above and beyond. When I got the car home i noticed a few dents under the door that you can barely notice so i called her and explained to her that these should be fixed. After we talked she talked to her manager whitin 10 minutes I got a phone call back saying she will personally bring me a rental and get these dents fixed. Kimberly says she only sells perfect cars for the people. Not only I want to thank Kimberly i want to thank everyone at dueck. And I just move in Vancouver, BC from California, Ca. I haven't get any credit now, but Mak was totally helped me to get my favorite car, he texts me and guide me how to prepare paper work. I take my work truck in for service here, oil changes ect. I have never had issues booking an appointment. They offer shuttle service, and have always had my truck back to me same day.

Extremely unprofessional service department. Was told on the phone that my car can be serviced in less than one hour! Waited 3.5 hours there and they were not done yet! Drove off with an unserviced car!! Just getting the car back took more than 20 minutes! Avoid at all costs!

For the next day, When I came back in she was busy so I was checked in by Danny, I was floored by the level of service I received, he kept me informed every step of the way and he even called dueck on his day off to check on my vehicle and then called me from home on his day off to give me an update. Dueck will have my service and word of mouth recommendations from here on in.

I traded in my 2013 GMC Seirra for a 2015 Camaro into this dealership just a few days ago. I have to say that from start to finish I received 5 star service. From the salesmen Mac and Keven to the manager and finance guy named Joe. I have dealt with many other dealerships in the past and none compare to this one. The process was quick, fair, and most importantly NON-STRESSFUL.
I would and will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy vehicle.

Came by after a long day of work to check things out and thats when I met Darren. He was awesome. No pressure, really helpful and just a good guy overall. He made the whole experience actually enjoyable. I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle (didn't end up needing one in the end) but I couldn't recommend Darren enough after that experience.
