After being informed about the availability of the MB C450 sedan , I made a 92 mile trip to the dealership, test-drove the vehicle and proceeded to complete a credit application. I noticed that the sales person did not return and I inquired at the sales desk as to the reason for the delay. The alleged Sales manager said someone had come in a earlier to purchase the vehicle. Naturally, I was upset that I had been to the dealership twice without the car I wanted and that MY credit was "pulled". They kept me waiting with no update and later proceed to tell me ... " Sorry the car was sold to someone who came at 4pm". He asks me to look at another car.

The fact that driversselect cannot manage their inventory is one issue, but having a Sales Manager who cannot understand the ramifications of the customer's unpleasant experience is another. I was very disappointed by the dismissive and very unemphatic attitude by one of the Sales Team Leader.

I should have read the 1-Star reviews before coming to this dealership. It appears someone responds to the 1 star Reviews. I now understand why people use the " used car salesman" metaphor.

I will likely go to a Mercedes Benz dealership after this experience, the car may be more expensive but I can be assured of a certain level of professionalism and customer experience.
