This deliverer is a disaster. Mal does not come at all. falsifies the parcel tracking documents, sometimes the consignment is given to some neighbor, but we don't know who ... And there is never a notification slip in the mailbox. Have already complained to DPD. Any consequences for the messenger? No.
After big initial problems with the delivery of larger parcels, things got really good in the meantime. For a few weeks now it has always been the same driver who brings the parcels. He is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Today he even carried 2 large parcels into the basement for me, which he shouldn't actually have. But then I also showed my appreciation. This is a parcel driver as you would imagine. Just great.
Well, what can you say about DPD ... unreliable, lazy, lying? I can think of a lot but unfortunately nothing good, a few years ago I often ordered things for which DPD was the deliverer, 2 parcels never arrived and 1 was 2 weeks late. About 6 parcels were simply put in front of the door, which is directly on the street, without ringing the bell, knocking or other delivery attempts and parking permits. 3 times it was stated that the recipient (I) was not found, although I was standing at the garage and cleaned or serviced my car, but no delivery person in sight. I took the consequence that I immediately cancel all parcels for which DPD is the deliverer or not order at all if I see it beforehand.
A good year later today I thought something has changed and I ordered an article that should be delivered 3 days ago. Thanks to live tracking, it is quite easy to see where the van is. On the first day it was claimed that the delivery address was not found, just like on the second day and attempted delivery. During the live mtracking, it was clear to see that the deliverer had not even tried to find the house, which is the first house on the only street far and wide. Which makes it clear that the deliverer did not even try to find it because at one point he was still 1km away in the next village and supposedly 5 deliveries away and suddenly claims the delivery address could not be found. After several phone calls complaints, the 3 delivery attempt was made and the package was delivered, but unfortunately it was just a few doors down in front of an abandoned house, again without a parking permit and allegedly handed over to an Olga. Mind you, nobody lives in the house anymore and is free to demolish. It was lying there openly on a house with no name on the bell or mailbox.
I order a lot from everywhere and nobody, regardless of whether Hermes, DHL or various sub-companies have problems delivering or giving correct information.
In summary: unreliable, mendacious and at a loss for excuses.
I had to stop the driver on the street, he would have passed without realizing that he had a package for me. No ID was required from me either. Anyone could have accepted the package. The driver hardly spoke German, so communication was very difficult. And that for almost 8 euros for an insured parcel in which there was no small value!

The DPD driver left the parcel on a neighbour's property today and simply drove away, and he also entered an invented name (AOSCHMIDT) as the recipient. The property owner saw this and was on his way out, but the driver was faster and just drove away.

I had ordered a 25 kg sack of fertilizer and the driver carried it to my front door. I found a nice service, especially since I'm not the youngest at almost 40 ... beide So both thumbs up!

Waited for an important package so I was home all day! At some point I received an email that the package would have already been delivered, storage location IN FRONT OF THE DOOR! In an apartment building with open access to the main street ... You can imagine the package was gone ... Lied about 2 ! failed delivery attempts and too lazy to deliver, dumped on local DPD shop for recipient to scrounge for package. Never tried, NO notes or CARDS from delivery attempt. Again, blatant LIE ! Worst package delivery (dis-)service ever. Only by sheer luck I got notification 'package delivered ' with no truck anywhere near. Hustled to pick up a mile away without car and 10 minutes before that place closed.

Ideally not a star at all, my father had ordered a rice cooker from Reishunger. According to the DPD it was delivered, in reality nothing was delivered. So far I have only had good experiences with DPD. Definitely got 15 packages in the last 4 weeks. Again, the driver brought the parcels to the second floor (without an elevator!) Without asking. DPD again and again. A little tip, if everything is ok, you should give a tip. This will definitely help with the next delivery. :)

Despite announcement of delivery on the previous day (delivery time changed 3x), delivered on the following day. Apparently nobody was at home. The delivery vehicle was on a neighboring street for over 1.5 hours without stopping at our place. The driver probably didn't feel like it anymore.

DPD is the last shop. I have now written 5 complaints to info@dpd.de and have written kilometers by mail with the sub-sub company stade-logistics.de. It is not able to send this company a package as paid and described in the terms and conditions.

Parcel is delivered to the neighbor without a slip, and when tracking the shipment, only your own name is under the recipient. Have fun ringing through to find the package. Hotline costs at least 20 cents per call. The package number must be given on the hotline. This entry does not go with the number keys, but has to be pronounced, which also does not work. I will actively avoid DPD in the future and will not order anything from a mail order company if the goods are sent via DPD.

Would love to give zero stars. I chose a delivery location that is not immediately visible to anyone and is protected from the rain. I come home, the package was on the stairs in the rain (electronic device) everyone could have taken it. Now the second time that a package was left with me by DPD.
A previous package was NOT placed in the SAFE place described, but in the entrance. THIS packet was then no longer to be found. Why is a location queried if the message only reads the parking permit? The next DPD delivery goes back.

Out of 10 deliveries, 1 arrived as it should. Cardboard box with potted plants delivered 4 days later than announced and then simply thrown into the hallway (at least that's how the cardboard box looked), mattress delivery simply parked at the front door (although delivery was agreed to the apartment door), rang and then quickly moved away, etc. In the future I will no longer order in a shop with DPD delivery.

I happened to see the DPD courier arriving at the window. He got out of the car and headed for the house entrance.
