Package was not delivered even though someone was at home. Now I can investigate where it was handed in. Great service :(

I will never issue a parking permit again! I was at home at the time of the alleged delivery, but the package was definitely not put down. Reaching someone on the hotline is almost impossible and cumbersome.

I never received my package even though I put all the instructions needed.

When I see a delivery person (which happens very rarely), they are usually friendly. However, what is to be criticized very strongly is the delivery staff speak and understand poor German, do not ring the bell and apparently cannot read properly, since packages are very rarely in the desired storage location. Usually difficult things are put directly in front of the door, so that you can neither get in nor out (front door opens outwards). Parcels are currently being deposited in the neighborhood and the delivery notice states that the parcel is at the agreed location ...

In 82110 only very few drivers are able to use the correct storage location a shame and very sad that the other parcel services * cough DHL cough * make it ...

4 tires ordered. 3 delivered. Fahre did not want to comment on it. 2 days later the 4th tire was on the doorstep, without notice. DPD, nightmares become reality.

Creepy, I had to put up with verbal abuse in some foreign language because I couldn't get to the front door - the situation with two small children didn't allow this, but the driver didn't want to understand it. 2nd floor with elevator should be possible ...

I was pleased to see a few days ago that my DPD package had arrived and had been given to the neighbor. It only took a little research before I found out that this is a Deutsche Post branch. Strangely, nobody accepted it and the package disappeared without a trace. But no problem, 57 cents per minute from the German landline promise great support from the DPD hotline. In fact, I am told here directly that the telephone support of the German Post will help me here. The 15 minutes on hold and the repetition of the problem 5 times during the conversation really paid off. But with the competition from Deutsche Post, nobody is really helpful here. An impudence. The conclusion: Unfortunately I did not get the DPD package this time. But with a value of 150 you can just look away. And maybe they'll just be more careful next time at the Deutsche Post branch

We would like to give minus stars for such bad service! Driver stands at the mailbox and does not ring the bell, just writes down names! On request, he denied a delivery for us and shortly afterwards we find a notification for self-collection in the parcel shop. The parcel deliverer too heavy for the driver ?! Impossible

This is the friendliest driver they have. He is nice and funny too, really great. The others from GLS and UPS can cut off a thick slice of.

The same every time, the DPD deliverer does not deliver to the apartment door. It simply left the package in the hallway on the ground floor. With me there is a container in front of the apartment door for the safe storage of packages. DHL uses it, UPS uses it, even the deliverer from Amazon only the DPD deliverer doesn't come to the door. And that was the second delivery. The first time he tried, he just threw a pick-up slip into the mailbox, even though I was there and opened the door for him. He just didn't get to the 3rd floor despite the elevator.

Basically, the doorbell does not ring.
Parcels are simply deposited in front of the front door (directly on the street).
The mail says: parked at the neighbour's doorstep.
Or simply brought to the pick-up station without ringing the bell.
This is absolutely the worst parcel service.

I opened the door for the deliverer immediately after ringing the doorbell. He just threw my package in the corner. It could have been put on the stairs.

Two stars because the tracking of the parcel has always gone well with me and you don't have to wait at home all day like with other companies.
But the friendliness of the drivers (although I can only talk about the drivers who deliver here) leaves a lot to be desired in my eyes. I can understand that you may be under stress or something similar. but I think you can still say "hello" or "good afternoon".

Package does not come, was supposedly delivered to a strange non-existent address (AO KAHL, whatever that means). With the hotline you can only reach a computer that only understands 0 and has no data on 0. Extremely bad bad service. In the future only with other parcel services.

For the 4th time in a row. Didn't ring the doorbell although at home, the parcel is either placed in the courtyard in mine or by the neighbors in the stairwell and then the tracking says that it was personally delivered ... etc. Had to search the whole street until DPD found out that they do not know where the package is because the deliverer could not write down a name ...

Our service has improved in the past few months. The last two programs arrived on time with live tracking.

The deliverer did everything correctly and well; moreover very friendly.

DPD is the last parcel service. You simply put a bicycle rack for the trailer coupling that costs several hundred euros in front of the front door. Delivery was announced for Friday and not for Saturday.

Despite that I was at home ... my shipment was simply placed in the hallway "behind the flower box" !!!

My delivery was dropped to the main entrance of the building which is multiple family building. I was not notified that my package is delivered. When I saw the app stautus of the delivery I checked my mailbox and I found the both packages. This was an expensive car rims dropped outside literally at the parking. Very unprofessional!

I am pregnant and have ordered a stroller home. The driver came and, even though I was at home and waiting on the first floor, just put the package in front of the door below and then quickly drove away. Not possible, that's not a service!

The drivers from DPD are impossible, simply leave any parcel lying on the stairwell without asking and clarifying whether the customer is able to carry the parcel up, maybe it is an old person and cannot walk properly or climb stairs or even that sometimes carry heavy package. I think it's rude from the drivers.

They were not informed about delivery, they try to deliver the package to neighbors(nearly 100 apartments in my apartment) and nobody knows each other and I am new to the apartment. Neighbor refused to accept the package so they sent the package immediately to sender without informing. DPD is not customer friendly. This is worst service I faced with DPD and I never recommend.

Package was in great condition. Arrived on time and the live tracking function of the DPD app was very accurate. In fact, the many negative reviews worried me a lot, but in retrospect these were completely unfounded. The supplier was also very friendly. Gladly again!

My 30 kilo package was not delivered to the desired delivery location. The doorbell did not ring. It wasn't even in the doorway, but on the doorstep, where anyone could take it. Desired storage location not adhered to. No notification in the mailbox or online where the package is now. Delivered to the storage location according to tracking. Unfortunately is nothing. Outrageous.

I had chosen a storage location for my shipment (mattress), unfortunately the driver did not stick to it. The package was simply dropped in front of the front door instead of as agreed in the hallway. The packaging was damaged. If it had been raining, the mattress would have gotten wet.

DPD either does not find the address or does not deliver it even though someone is at home. The message is illegible and packet tracking is not working. By far the worst delivery service in Germany!

Please wait until the recipient is at the door next time
and don't just ring the bell and put the package down!

Always an absolutely punctual delivery. The time frame is very precise
adhered to, you can rely on it. This is not the case with everyone.
We always try to handle all shipments via DPD, the delivery service is simply great.

Mostly ok, but too often: stayed at home, waited. No ringing, no note. Online then: Package has been delivered. Simply thrown in front of the front door of the neighboring house, clearly visible to everyone. NO OK to park.

The driver forgot to deliver my parcel yesterday, was in the neighborhood and then just drove away. Then later in the tracking the message that I was not there. But I was, there wasn't a note in the mailbox either. For today, extra desired neighbors are specified and storage on site is explicitly not allowed. Now the neighbor reports that the package is with us in front of the door. "Delivered" appears in the tracking. It is an expensive gadget that has been lying around in front of our door for hours. Overall service under all cannon.

Very disappointed. I only found my package after two days. Although it said "living plants". It was simply parked in front of the wrong door where there is not even an up-to-date doorbell sign and you can clearly see that nobody lives in this apartment. It is not successfully delivered for me. I won't order it that fast anymore .....

I am not at all satisfied. I was informed of the time of delivery. When it rang I pressed the door opener. Since I can't fly yet, it took about 40 - 50 seconds. I heard noise on the ground floor and then nothing. I took the elevator down and found my package there. There was no trace of the deliverer. So I had to get the heavy package into my apartment myself. That's what I call service to the customer !!!!

The driver said he couldn't find the address. He crossed our street very quickly, he did not look for the house number, I followed him quickly, he explained that he did not know the area, i.e. the street on which he was located! My contact phone number is on the package. He didn't call to ask how or where to find me. Drivers get an allowance on the phone in case they need to contact the recipient. Drivers from other companies never have a problem getting here!

According to the email, the shipment had to arrive between 08:47 and 09:47. It was only delivered at 11:05. The delivery time was not met, so 1 star deduction. Otherwise everything was fine, thanks for the delivery!

Employee was nice, but the package was totally torn to pieces

The package to be delivered outside without any problems was once upon a time. The package allegedly deposited according to the mail cannot be found on the whole property. A neighbor who was also waiting would be told that no one would be found.
The only one on Anliegerstr. is not the delivery man.

The package was supposedly deposited at the mailbox which is about 400 meters from our house. The mailbox is on a main street, our gate was open and someone was waiting at home. Unfortunately when we were at the mailbox there was no package. It was a trailer hitch for cars that was put in the mailbox, hahaha.
The driver didn't feel like driving 300 meters further onto the property.
That's why we never give DPD a parking permit.
Because the packages never arrive.

Package was simply parked in the hallway. No communication with the driver possible. No service like before.

Usual problem with this deliverer .. suddenly a mail arrives, successfully delivered .. WHERE? I have a window directly to the house entrance, no one has delivered a package here. Juice shop.

Dreadful! My package is gone and it is considered delivered. Now I'm sitting on the expense and have no goods. I don't hate to have it delivered through Dpd! By far the worst service

For the 2 time the package was delivered somewhere and I have no address, just a name that nobody here knows! Expensive spare parts for my car gone! Notification and damages follow! Never again DPD

The same thing almost every week. I have been receiving HelloFresh parcels for several weeks and have issued a parking permit via HelloFresh. So far so good. BUT the parking permit was intended for the front door and not for the front door - I could choose exactly that. After the parcel full of groceries is always put outside the front door, I even tried to use DPD shipment tracking to specify the parking permit, but with a clear reference to the upper floor, the parcels are still clearly visible for all people passing by. I find it simply outrageous, especially since it is clear that it is a grocery delivery and I had to remove ants from the package!
Even apart from these deliveries, information from DPD deliveries often does not match the actual delivery status.

I am at home waiting for my package the whole day and still I receive a notification DPD tried to deliver my package unsuccessfully. The door bell works fine, you just need to press it. I called the customer service to complain, they told me the package will be delivered the next day. Of course the next day nothing happens and I have to go pick it up from a parcel shop.
Once they left my package at a hair salon near by, and left a note with the name of the owner of the hair salon, which obviously I could never find. I went to all my neighbours and two other buildings to find this person. Finally, after two days the customer service was able to track the driver who told them where he left the package.

Edit: during the consultation with the customer support (very friendly support employee!) My neighbor contacted me with my package in his hands, the deliverer simply did not notice that he had delivered my shipment elsewhere! I am happy to have an honest neighbor who was so kind to accept the package for me. Still annoying.

Experience is a big minus when it comes to heavy (20-25kg) packages. 4 times what was ordered, 4 times by DPD shipping and 4 times arrived damaged.

The package was delivered quickly and properly. The deliverer was very friendly. I only have to criticize the tracking. I was then informed that my package had been delivered 6 months in advance.

dpd doesn't understand that my parcels should NOT be sent to a parcel shop, they keep doing it. I have not commissioned this service on a permanent basis. when does that go into your brain? are there only stupid people left?

Deep bad service. The package was ticked off as delivered, but was left unasked elsewhere, where there was neither a collection point nor a storage location that I specified. I had to take care of getting my lost package.

Parcel carriers are unfriendly and disrespectful. At lunchtime when toddlers are sleeping, the doorbell rings completely over the top and inappropriately long.
