Incredibly long transport process. The competition is much better there. The deliverer was great and did not shy away from the way around the house to the safe storage location.
The parcel was not delivered to our home even though I was home all day!! The pick-up station was not far away but it was hard to reach by public transportation and I really had a bad day because of it. Totally disappointed. I will never use DPD again!
If I can prevent it, I won't have anything sent with DPD. Storage locations are mostly ignored. I have received a lot of orders lately. With the exception of 1x GLS, DPD was always the problem. They don't care if you complain.
At the moment, a chop saw that was on the doorstep is drying. It should actually be parked dry and not visible in the garage.
The problem is not one single deliverer either - I have "received" shipments in various places. Obviously there is an organizational problem.

My package was reportedly successfully delivered. I'm just wondering where? I have not received a package. After I called the hotline the nice lady told me on the phone: the driver will be informed and we will get feedback on where the package is. The driver has 48 hours to do this.

Parcels have been sent with DPD 3 times in the last 2 weeks. No one came twice even though I was at home and my parcels were brought directly to a pick-up shop, where I had to pick them up myself. Today my package was simply put in front of the front door. Again the parquet floor didn't ring. I was at home and found the package after the notification. Find this way impossible. If the package gets away like that, you are left with the costs.

The delivery time was accurate and within the estimated period of delivery time. It was delivered speedy, on Friday the order was just dispatched in the daytime, and it was already delivered at my home on the next day! I was very impressed for this time experience especially during the current difficult time! (But the distance is also relatively short: Nuremberg to Munich).

Frozen goods, advised for Saturday, delivered on Monday despite express delivery. Goods were thawed and unusable. Parcels have been standing around at over 30 C for the weekend, although labeled accordingly. Everything thawed and had to be disposed of. Great damage has been done. Service is different. DPD no longer reliable.
During the Corona crisis, it became blatantly obvious that DPD couriers scheme a delivery without even ringing the bell/ knocking the door. We have had numerous parcels and deliveries during the past 2 months that we had to manually recollect in shops around our house, some heavy and deliberatly ordered online as my wife is pregnant and cannot carry heavy stuff. Shame on their service and shame on them pushing their employees in rushing from door to door and, due to time squeeze, skipping deliveries!

I'm getting really pissed off, especially since we once had a pallet of moving boxes in the garden that didn't even belong to us! We weren't home. DPD therefore had permission to hand over the delivery to a neighbor. Instead, the parcels were simply placed in front of their own front door - without confirmation of receipt or the like, nor did the neighbors ring the bell. The packages were stacked in front of the front door in such a way that our children could not open the front door after school - because the packages are too heavy (16kg per package) to be moved by children.
That is really a cheek, an insolence. So mad at DPD ....

Important documents of the Bundesbank were supposedly delivered, although there was neither ringing nor any notification. The shipment tracking indicated that the delivery was made - in front of the front door - without a parking permit. However, the package wasn't there! Always the same problem with DPD: A notification is made about the imminent delivery. However, this does not mean delivery to the recipient's address, but delivery to the nearest DPD distribution station. When the package arrives there, it is reported that it has been "delivered".
