The bar staff was rude and had horrible customer service we waited 10 minutes just for the person to even look at us and say hi , We ordered one hamburger and frys and waited 45 minutes and the hamburger was raw when we got it . The room was really damp for some reason , and there is no continental breakfast . Probably wouldn't stay there again .

One of the worst experiences I have ever had staying at a hotel. It was nearly impossible to find the parking when we arrived with all the parking. My husband went in to ask since there was a line of roughly 10 cars all trying to figure out where to go with no staff anywhere in site. The person he spoke to was extremely rude and said THERE ARE SIGNS! Well, I called the front desk to ask where to go and they said, down the block and around the corner and there is a sign. When we finally found it, there was a really small sign that sign First National Bank Parking and even smaller letters, and Double Tree at the bottom. Then we finally get in to check in and they have my husband pay when he already prepaid for the room a month in advance. So now he has paid twice (which he forgot) and we have to call back to get refunded (not likely). Now that we have checked in, they hand us each a cookie (LITERALLY THE ONLY GOOD PART) and we head upstairs. We walk to our room and notice the sticker that shows the room has been cleaned has a broken seal. We enter anyway. One of the first things my husband does is check to make sure the adjoining room door is locked. It isn't. So he tried locking and it wouldn't. Great! So we call down and they said they would send someone up. We get ready to head to dinner, go to the restroom and notice what appears to be makeup all over the sink??? So not cleaned?! Who wants to deal with a dirty room and a maintenance guy coming to the room??? NO ONE! Never once did they just offer to switch us to another room. Only if he couldn't get the door to lock. At that moment, with us complaining of a dirty, uncleaned room and a door that wouldn't lock, they should have just switched us. For the most part, the staff was friendly, at least the staff when we checked in. But it went downhill fast from there. After getting back from being out, we ordered Uber Eats and I run down to grab it and the door doesn't open for me to go outside. Fire hazard?! There were 2 people waiting outside because this door was locked when it shouldn't have been. The maintenance tech was again called - different guy - and he has to get a ladder, open the ceiling tile and unlock it. This place literally seems to just be falling apart. I head back upstairs with the food in hand and get back to the hotel room to realize there are no water bottles or even just CUPS to drink water or drink from the coffee machine provided in the room. Once again call down and the front lady says, oh we don't bring water bottles up for ***** phone cuts out so I don't hear but it sounded like she said "NON MEMBERS." WELL MISS, TECHNICALLY I AM A MEMBER OF HILTON AND MARRIOTT. She said I could walk downstairs and she would open the guest store? Or whatever it was called. At this point, with all the experiences we had, I was done. No I'm not walking downstairs. You can walk up 2 bottles of waters for your paying guests when this should have just been added to our room BEFORE we arrived. Seriously ridiculous.
The sad part about this all, is that this place used to be a really nice hotel but fell short of even a mediocre experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. And NOW, we have to deal with being double charged because they didn't show we already paid. Even though my husband has the transaction and showed them the charge. They said they weren't familiar with the CCI charge. All my husband had to do was Google it and it shows that it is for the hotel. Go to the various other hotel options downtown and save your time and energy!

Stay was below average, especially for the price. 1. Pool was under construction 2. Shower tub would fill with 3-4 inches of water while showering 3. Entire hotel smelt terribly like sewage (not sure why?) 4. Staff was very annoyed when asking for a late checkout 5. Elevators were extremely slow. Often had to wait 5-10 minutes for an elevator. Overall, would not recommend this hotel.

This Doubletree is always great. Especially Stacy and Lindsay in the lounge. They always treat you like family, and do everything they can to exceed your expectations. I highly recommend this location !

Staff was very friendly at all hours of the day. Rooms were clean. The bed was super comfy and the only reason I did not give 5 stars was because to shut the door to the bathroom, I had to straddle the toilet. Even I'd i was just going to do my hair ir makeup. Bathroom was a bit tight.

The breakfast was delicious with exceptional service. The hostess, Rainey (not sure if this is the correct spelling) was delightful and very personable! Character traits that are very appreciated by this customer. Thank you!

This reeks of a hotel well past it's prime that is cutting costs. Our room was dirty (small black specks on bedsheets had us worried about bedbugs but turned out to just be dirt), the main entrance was out of order our whole visit, and a leaking ceiling in main dining area pouring water into a trashcan. I would stay away from this place. Just to say something nice....it is in a good downtown location.

Went here for a mystery murder event in one of their conference rooms. We were able to park in their covered parking garage attached to the hotel. While there were few signs for our event, we were easily directed by the staff where we needed to go.

Its a nice enough place but definitely has its faults:: room number 1806 has scuff marks on wall by bed, a head board that clunked against the wall when I would move in bed, and also a toilet that couldn't make up its mind whether it should flush or not...

We had a full bag of dirty laundry in our room when we walked in but the hostess, Riuh, made it right by upgrading our room and making our stay so pleasant. Other than the construction work it was a great stay and the club sandwich at the bar was awesome!

Great service! Starbucks inside! Other snack options too. Other options you can pay with a credit card, not bills or coins as an only option. Front desk is helpful. Room service options are fantastic and well priced. The shampoo provided smells great! Verbane and Lavander. Views are good. I couldn't hear anyone though I was right in front of the elevators.

The main garage only has a 6ft 5inch clearance. However down the street the have one for oversized vehicles, just not that many spaces available for over 7 feet tall vehicles. Would be nice if parking was paid for or if they would cover the cost from the bill or something given the cost of the rooms.

The tissue box in the bathroom kind of looked like tissues maybe been used?!? Or maybe not replaced properly, crumpled up kind of weird.

Only other fault I can think of, the light attached to the table would flicker when pressure was applied to the table.

Key is proximity so with my hands being overly full I didn't have to juggle to get the door open.

Television was nice!!! Looked like a 47 or 50 inch LG HD TV. Nice to see quality in choices.

Bed was super comfortable, I woke up feeling amazing!

Great downtown location!!!

Company was inclusive with their staff which was cool to see.

I would absolutely recommend this place or stay here again.

Room itself was good. Hot water took awhile of running the water just to heat up. Whatever you do, DO NOT depend on the shuttle service! We used this twice! Once being dropped off and once coming back! The first time we told the front desk when we wanted to go somewhere and what time we wanted to be there. They said ok they would call 15 mins prior to them leaving! Well we walked down to the front desk only to find out they forgot to rely the message! The driver "Travis" was great and got us to where we need to be on time. However when it was time to be picked up... NOT SO MUCH! They told us 30 over the phone which turned into 1 hr and 10 mins and a phone to ask about it! Did i mention the location was only an hour away?? When we were trying to leave there was a group of kiddos playing on the elevator. They managed to push every button to every floor. Runnning in and out of the elevators tying them up. They also had all the elevator floors soaking wet because they were in the pool! Left puddles everywhere! Hopefully no one ended up falling! Also broke kiddos hearts when we checked out they didnt do the cookies!

The location is great for exploring The Old market. The prices are fair for the area, and the rooms are neat, clean and comfortable. Would have rated five stars but the desk clerk was rude. I asked if any rooms were available and without looking he flat out said no. I walked away from the counter and booked a room online. I proceeded to the counter and asked to check in with reservation #xxxxx and was given a room without issue. I spoke with Guest Services Manager Paul H. who quickly made the issue right by professionally handling the denial of service. I greatly appreciate the way in which Paul handled the matter and will definitely return to this hotel when in Omaha and strongly recommend this hotel to any wishing to stay in The old Market district

When I first committed to have my wedding at the DoubleTree I was a little nervous how it was going to go because of the wedding coordinator I was working with. Well she is no longer there and here came Ron. He had sooo many good creative ideas and was so easy to work with. I had a bigger than normal bridal party and he was great and very patient. He helped relieve my stress even on the day of the wedding when I was having a meltdown. He was the best I could ask for. Thank you Ron for everything you did for me and my wedding. You are an amazing person and any bride is lucky to be able to work with you. The food was great and all my guest told me how much fun they had. The ballroom is ideal for a reception. The presidential suite there was pretty nice too! Thanks Ron and DoubleTree!!!

Staff was friendly. That was nice. Otherwise the furnishings were outdated, the door latch lousy, AC noisy, shared door thin enough to hear neighbors complete conversations clearly, and absolutely the worst chicken caesar salad I ve had (and I ve had many of them).

We went for a wedding, service was nice until it took almost an extra hour to get our food. By the time we got out food, all of the tables around us had already eaten and had their plates taken away. We had to ask the wait staff 3-4 times about when we'd be served our food before they finally came around with it, which was mainly cold.

Worst hotel I ve ever stayed at. The room was not clean. Refrigerator and microwave were sitting on the floor. Window seal was falling apart and had cob webs in the part that had fallen down. Bathroom toilet had not been cleaned from previous guest. All surfaces were dusty. Access to parking garage attached to hotel was not open when I arrived. Hotel staff told me to park in century parking lot close by which was dark and vacant. You access the hotel through an underground tunnel which is not safe when you are alone. When normal parking garage is up you have to get ticket validated by front desk every time you want to leave. I would not recommend this hotel to someone especially a woman staying by themselves. I checked out after one night. I might have just hit a bad time but definitely look into recent reviews before you stay here. I hope they get better.

Anyone traveling to the Omaha area, I recommend NEVER staying at the Double Tree in downtown Omaha! We stayed at this same hotel for last year and it was so great, clearly there has been a change in management or staff or something.

The entire staff needs a serious lesson on hospitality and customer service. The daytime front desk staff is incapable of being polite, smile or acting like they care when guests ask for help or complain about a problem. Room keys wouldn t work, we had members of our group get randomly checked out throughout the week and couldn t access their rooms. On the flip side, the evening front desk staff was amazing! Always greeted guests as we came through the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also amazing and were great about giving rides to local restaurants/shops. The bartender was great, best service ever. The server was horrible, can t handle managing more than 2 tables at a time (even came back a 2nd time to give her another chance and it was worse). Food orders incorrect, over & undercooked food. Just gross!

Housekeeping is disgusting!!! We stayed for 6 nights, my bed was made once. And honestly I could care less if it s made but it s the expectation of the service that should be provided. The trash was emptied 2 of the 6 days and had trash in it everyday. Furniture was not dusted/wiped down (you could make drawings in the dust).

The upkeep of the hotel and maintenance is seriously lacking. Three days there was no hot water in the shower/sink...because cold showers is exactly what you need when traveling, right?! The thermostats do not work so the AC blows at full blast in arctic cold temperatures no matter what the setting. We would have to turn off the unit completely to warm up the room.

Never again will we stay there

I checked into my first room and the front desk agent was very nice and friendly, I have nothing but great things to say about him however, when I got to my room, there was blood and bodily fluids in the toilet, trash and pill wrappers all over the floor. When I told front desk this, they upgraded me, which was nice but this room as well has hair all over the bathroom floor and tub, a stain on the sheets and pillow cover that don t even smell clean. It makes me very concerned that the cleaning staff did not replace the sheets, rather they just made the bed. I don t feel comfortable staying in this hotel, the rooms are incredibly dirty. Horrible job on housekeeping.

Only one little thing to pay attention to, when coming off Dodge, you, essentially, turn right @ the red light into the hotel--very reasonable parking rates, FYI. Everything seems quite decent. I used the stairwells for some exercise, very clean, fully painted. Kind of reinforces my belief in their attention to detail here.

I enjoyed my stay. Great friendly staff here. Room was comfortable except for the A/C fan. I had to turn the A/C off, it was super loud. The fan speed wouldn t go to low. Other than that the stay was fine.

There was an option for breakfast to be delivered to your room. You were to hang the slip on your door before 1am. We hung it on our door hours before. We waited the next morning and nobody came. I called the front desk to ask and the worker was very rude. She told me there's nothing she can do about it. I asked what the point of hanging it up was if we weren't going to get breakfast(that we had to pay to be delivered). She said once again, there's nothing she can do about it and she will just transfer me to housekeeping. She never apologized. Never offered a way to make it right.
Housekeeping apologized and offered ways to make it right. They said they did not have our order. By that time it was getting later in the morning and we were already ready to leave.
I explained it was for my birthday and we had just wanted to enjoy breakfast in the room.
Would have been nice if the front desk worker wasn't so arrogant and rude.

We stayed for a wedding. The hotel was fine, clean rooms, nice restaurant, friendly staff. The parking garage was a problem. They give you a paper to scan to get in and out of the garage, specifically telling you to keep it flat. We kept ours very flat, but it still did not work. If you are in a hurry to get in and out of the garage, you are out of luck.

My wife and I stayed in the Presidential Suite and it was great! Service awesome, plenty of towels, great room service and customer service. Keep up the good work we will definitely book again! Thanks for a wonder stay.

The hotel was very nice. The food was very well prepared. They were good at working around food allergies at banquets and still the food tasted very good. The service personnel were very nice and accommodating. All elevators worked which was great when in a group of about 200 people. Parking was not free but the garage was easily available and close to the front door. The garage was open air yet clean and well lit. Air port shuttles ran very 30 minutes and the driver was very helpful. Looking forward to staying there again.

Worst Hotel in Omaha. No Heat in room. Couldn't use pool because- no heat in there either. No mention of that on website. Day staff were unfriendly and I will never stay again. paid 140.00 - for a hotel with no heat and no pool!!!! and no apology from Justin- the day manager! Worst Service ever!

Customer service is above & beyond expectations! However we weren t able to get any sleep at all. Doors slammed all night, music blasted from underneath us from nightfall all the way til we checked out at about 9:45a; we couldn t believe no one handled the situation. Some type of food had been splattered on the bedroom door, which makes me believe that attention to detail isn t as sharp as it should be & that s very very important to me when you have different people in & out everyday. Someone had a party & left tape all over the walls that hadn t been peeled off. I honestly just felt like my money was wasted, I love Hilton brands & I only book stays with Hilton properties but this stay just wasn t so promising this time around. I would definitely give Doubletree a second chance to make it right, I am just so disappointed that I had a poor experience in such a beautiful presidential suite. Tried getting away for the weekend to relax & sadly could not even enjoy it like I wanted to... Love their parking garage though, so fast & convenient. Again their staff is amazing, they are the reason why I would give a second chance because I know they care. Sometimes it s just the housekeepers that doesn t unfortunately.

Restaurant and bar was closed prior to midnight on a Saturday night. Front desk staff at night slow and only had one person. Room was clean but the whole hotel either heat or AC ridiculous. Starbucks in lobby doesn't take Starbucks cards or give points.

The hotel is fine. Nothing extraordinary. Weird system of controlled heating and air conditioning though. They set it at one temperature for the entire hotel, and all you can do is control the fan speed with the thermostat. They have portable heaters and air conditioners you can request to have brought to your room. Strange.

Hotel is in a nice location, close to the downtown restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and modern. Staff is very friendly and helpful with all requests, except for a room change request due to noise (no rooms left). They also have free bikes they loan out. There were only a few things I'd change and that's to offer complimentary coffee in the lobby and link the parking to a room key. Because parking isn't on a room key, you could end up paying way more than the maximum daily with often in/outs.

The bathroom fixtures need to be renovated. The air would not come on during the night, if we set the thermostat to 63 it raised the temperature from 70 to 75. Room was okay, easy to get to the hotel and from the parking garage. Starbucks is very convenient.
