Good: we had good experiences with the staff. All very friendly and helpful. I'm breastfeeding and requested a refrigerator for our room, and they brought one right up (they are not in the standard rooms).

Bad: I've been wide awake since 4am because our room is a sauna. Although the thermostat says 60, it has to be 75 in here. As other guests have said, despite the thermostat, you have no control over the temperature. The hotel will bring a fan...but seriously? That isn't the issue. The staff simply said, "we operate on an old one pipe system." Very disappointed. I expect more from a Hilton property.

We stayed here for three days, and if we could have changed hotels we would have! The Hotel and rooms did not smell very good. There were not enough people working the front desk at check in and check out or to get the rooms cleaned in time for check in. We were part of a big group for a sporting event, and several rooms were not cleaned and ready until well after check in. It took multiple calls to get a fridge to the room for several in our group. Others got them right away. There was only one toilet paper roll in the room. The rooms only run ac in the summer and heat in the winter, our room was extremely warm, even with a fan and the small window open. The breakfast buffet is priced very high at almost $18.00 a person, however was not open in time for our group to use it except one day of the stay. Also they are renovating so it is pretty noisy during the day. If I were you I would save your money and not stay at this hotel until it is fully remodeled! One positive was they had a shuttle that took our group around to places, so that was nice!

Bathroom too small, Wi-Fi slow though acceptable. Fitness center could be expanded as tended to get crowded quickly. Great lobby, great restaurant, great elevators, awesome breakfast!

We were not able to stay or travel due to the flooding in our area. We called Doubletree, they told us we would not be charged. We were. I canceled through hotels as told, and they claimed we no showed and charged us.
Will never ever stay at a double tree again. We wanted nothing more than to take our trip. But when everything around us was closed due to flooding we had no choice. Sickening that you would do this to anyone.

After I have had a day to process our experience at your hotel. My rating for you is a 1. I am so sad that this was my first experience with your Hotel. After the botched reservations.Cancelling our rooms. The guests who were hung up on and spoken to very rudely about their reservations. Along with blood and makeup on our pillows. To being stuck in the parking garage for 25 minutes due to a broken exit lane making us very late for our hair and makeup appointments for my sons wedding. So maybe a 1 is a generous mark.

This hotel is disgusting. The carpets have stains. There were ants on the floor and walls. Hair in the bed. The sink was broke. No microwave or mini fridge. The glasses were used and not replaced. Had to pay for breakfast. May as well go the super 8 and save yourself some money.

The hotel is in a great location on the edge of downtown close to the stadium. It's pretty much a five to ten minutes walk from everything. The gym is also nice and the beds give me comfort. I like the place.

Staff is nice. Wake up call went off 20 mins early, and the shuttle service schedule needs twerking just a bit. Hotel is very close to airport but has only 2 shuttles per hour. Cookies were hot n fresh, makes life better.

Reserved a king size, got two queens. Called to find out if anything could be done and got a standardized answer...no resolution. Food was okay but pricey. Arrived late at night and all underground doors lock after a given time so you have to come thru main entrance. Check in had a couple hundred people for an event staying and when we arrived much later two people at the counter but could only help one person in one spot at a time (not everyone was in line, only 5). Servers are good and pleasant for meals. The rooms are clean, outlets in lamp bases are so worn out you can't use them. Heard a few say they're having issue with water leaks, ac doesn't work, TV doesn't function. If I had to use this hotel of my own free will and not because of the event I probably would try somewhere else nearby. Granted it's booked but we reserved a king and we aren't short people, if you don't get what's exactly reserved then why ask what you want on the website??

The staff members were all great. The rooms are dated and I found it interesting that the bathroom lacked towel hooks/rods. This makes reusing your towel a challenge which is particularly interesting since Double Tree is known for recycling and eco-friendliness. The executive conference center was quite nicely appointed and spacious.

Beware that the walls are super thin at this hotel and you can hear everything your neighbors are saying and vice verse. Not something to expect from a DoubleTree, maybe some sort of off brand hotel. As a business traveler I ll never book at this hotel again. Sad!

The hotel is older so it will not immediately appear fresh and new as some other places however don't let that deter you from staying. There is free wifi despite some of the other reviews as well as a decent lobby with above average amenities.

All in all not a bad place to stay, I would rate it in the average category compared to other doubletrees I have stayed in.

Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. There was a decent sized hdtv tv as well as decent furnishings.

Overall a good stay. The only complaint is that I found urine on the toilet seat during my first night from the previous guest. I guess the maid forgot to clean the bathroom after the previous guest. Told the front desk and they took care of it

The DoubleTree is one of the best hotels I've visited. The staff is kind and the rooms are really nice. They have a huge lobby with a restaurant, bar, pool and gym. It's located in downtown Omaha so everything is within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My son plays travel hockey so we've stayed in many, many hotels. The cheaper hotels had better amenities than this place! For what we paid a night you'd expect a refrigerator and a microwave in your room. The ice machine on our floor didn't work so we had to go to another level for ice. Not to mention that out of 18 floors like 3 pop machines work. The elevators are so s l o w that it was faster for us to use the stairs from the 11th floor to get to the lobby. The air conditioners must not be able to keep up because it was hot and humid in the lobby, meeting rooms and hallways. My room felt like it was damp during day from humidity but felt better at night. Probably because the sun was down and air conditioning didn't have to work as hard. It was not a very pleasant stay.<br/>However, the rooms were clean and the staff were accommodating and nice.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Rooms desperately need updating. Saw a roach on the wall in the bathroom. Thermostats are controlled by the hotel not in room by the guests. It was unbearably hot at night

Horrible wifi. I carry multiple devices. The wifi signal dropped several times in my iPads. It's known iPads don't have the best wifi reception but most of the time it's fine. Wifi decent in my laptop and Android devices. Older rooms that need updating. Nice staff.

We decided to stay here when our neighbors were having a loud party, it was certainly quieter than being in our home. Overall the room was nice, tall ceilings, ample space, fairly clean However, the king-size bed was awfully firm and had dips from previous stays. The pillows were deceptively puffy, flat by the morning. The coffee maker was dusty and we only got one paper cup. There's a button on the phone for the bar but when you press it a person at the front desk tells you have to come down to get your beverages. The person on the phone also failed to tell us that a bar was closed, which was rather annoying. The toilet paper holder fell clean off the wall in the bathroom. 3/5 overall for the stay.

Omaha has really nice people! Hotel and room was beautiful. No hot water in the shower, slow drain, and no heat. Most likely because of the census being high. Thanks food.... At the conference was not good! I am a Chef and I was looking to be kinder. The servers were great! The chicken was ALWAYS way overcooked. So tough you couldn't cut it. White sauce with red peppers was almost sweet and almost cold. Second time chicken was served it was warmer but still dry and tough good veggies, though. Ran out of dinner rolls that were very good Restaurant breakfast was great! Front desk staff were very accommodating, especially with the water and heat issues. Best chunk chocolate chip cookies ever!

Love the hotel. Centrally located in downtown Omaha. The staff are amazing there. I love the rooms! The beds are especially comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. I also like the restaurant downstairs because they have a varied menu and it's relatively affordable. Finally the inside pool on one of the upper floors is really nice for a relaxing swim after a long day of work. I highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure.

I'll be honest. This was not a great visit. Im a Hilton Honors member and really want to see Hilton properties regain the service and guest experience that the name used to carry. I booked through the app and chose the Hinors member discount rate. Then, not having been to this hotel previously I searched online for directions. Online the location listed their best available rate $10 less than my Honors Discount?
I get checked in after parking in the garage (another $10 for overnight), and go straight to my room. All the room doors have had something removed from them so there were obvious damage marks needing sanded and stained.

In the room I realized I'm in an adjoining room. Of course there are people next door and they were noisy with maybe 4 people in the room partying. I needed to get sleep because I was on town for work.

The room was clean. The courtesy mini fridge was just sitting on the carpet. Random.

I woke up just after 6am and the neighbors had a visitor knocking. Then there was a cussing match. I showered and left.

Some of this is not directly the brand fault, but I contacted the hotel through the app expressing my immediate concerns shortly after I got into the room. No reply. No resolution.

I also bong to Wyndham Rewards and will say I almost always have a better visit in their hotels. I thought I was "stepping it up" with Hilton, but maybe Wyndham just has a better appreciation of the guest experience.
Hope my review helps.

Spent our wedding anniversary there after dinner at the Omaha Press Club. We had shuttle take us to old market. I thought the room and as nice and beds were comfortable. It was quiet and didn't here any activity in hall.

I have stayed here several times over the past 5 years and find this to be a very nice hotel. The staff is always excellent, the rooms are clean, comfortable and overall the hotel is well maintained. I use the fitness room every time I have stayed here and it is always in excellent condition and very clean.

The rooms in this hotel are constantly humid and there is little to no air conditioning in the hallways or the elevators. If it is hot, you will be very uncomfortable. Also, you have to park in a parking garage next to the hotel which they charge you 10 dollars a night to stay in. During our stay, it was full most of the time so we had to park in a different parking garage far from the hotel. Also, we stayed when a pagent was going on and it was absolutely nuts everywhere. It was impossible to get up and down the elevators without at least a 10 minuite wait. The only bright spot was the roomservice which was not bad. Other than that our stay was pretty miserable throughout.

The hotel is within walking distance to an abundance of restaurants and bars. It seemed to be a fairly safe neighborhood. The rooms were well kept and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel seemed nice. Did not stay over night. Grand ballroom and event space well kept. Front entrance limited to revolving door only. Watched a guest struggle to get his luggage cart out, while my we waited in the cold to enter.

Would give the place a 4.5 if this was an option. The wait to get checked in was long with only one individual checking. Riah finally came out to assist and did a great job. He provided numerous options for dinner and offered the shuttle if we weren't interested in walking. Riah quickly resolved an issue with our Hilton Honors account and was friendly throughout the process. He also provided a coupon to use for a free appetizer for dinner. After a quick check out the following morning we realized we left an item in the room. Tried calling the hotel and after three minutes of automation voices I finally connected with a real person who out me on hold for 12 minutes while she looked into it. Call ended up dumping into someone's voicemail. Called later and talked to Dave in housekeeping who said they would have our item at the front desk when we returned in a few hours. That wasn't the case so waited for 10 minutes while they tracked down the item. The place itself was clean, had a great atmosphere and a fantastic pool area, walking distance to a a number of restaurants, and seemed to genuinely care about their guests. Would definitely recommend!

The access from a major street is easy to navigate. Parking was very close and validation available in the hotel. The desk clerks are knowledgeable and friendly... They actually looked at us instead of the computer screen.

Amenities are plentiful. We stayed in the honors room. It was clean, roomy and ventilated.

The price is reasonable for a upscale hotel. If you need a place to stay and want a little bit of luxury, this is your best bet.

The pub and restaurant were open until after midnight. Starbucks was a treat!!

Clean
