The rooms won't have heat in the summer month, so they tell me. What the @$*#%! We're in the Midwest! It's currently 47degrees outside in May. We just turned on the hair dryer to warm up. It's all good now.

Hello, I wanted to take a minute to write about the wonderful experience I had at the Hilton Doubletree in Downtown Omaha. When my coworker and I arrived, we were met by Michael at the front desk. He was immediately very friendly and gave us great advice for lunch. Shortly after, I realized I forgot my belt at home and badly needed one for a meeting the next day. After nearly an hour of frustration with the local bus system, I wasn t able to get to the store to buy a belt. I asked Michael if the shuttle would take us. He informed me that it was unfortunately outside the shuttle s range but asked what I needed. I told him that I was looking for a belt. Instead of making me find my way to the Walmart, he took his own belt and let me borrow it so I wouldn t have to stress about it anymore. This is the single greatest customer service interaction I have ever had. To add to it, on my last day my flight didn t leave until 5pm. He offered late check out so that I didn t have to find someone to be between check out and my flight. Michael is a credit to your organization. His friendly, can do, customer centric attitude is essential to developing repeat customers in an area that has many options to choose from. I am in Omaha in a fairly regular basis for business. I will forever be a customer of the Hilton Doubletree in Downtown. On top of this, the room was great and I have absolutely no complaints.

No control over heat or AC. In the winter the heat is always on and summer the AC. I like to sleep in cooler temps so for me it just wasn't pleasant. Other than that it's a double tree, which are nice hotels. It's near a walkable downtown area.

For the money charged for the room I would expect the room to be more up to date. The toilet holder was falling out of the wall, the knob on the shower was falling off just hanging on by the spring and the room. Smelled Ike old sock. I will not ever stay here again.

After staying 1 night here at the Omaha DoubleTree my family and I are not impressed. The hotel looks run down. Rust on the sides of the pool the pool ladders are broken and loose ,the wallpaper and carpet look worn. My personal complains are no hot tub, small pillows no fridge or microwave and for the price of a room no complimentary breakfast. Next time I'm in Omaha my family will be staying somewhere else. 2 positives is close to downtown and bathroom is updated.

The staff was very arrogant and cocky. My alarm clock did not work and when I call the front desk they said they were going to send someone up but that person never showed. The room was what you would expect from a Double Tree but the customer service was lacking.

It's a dump. Old, outdated, noisy rooms, bathtub doesn't drain properly, sink doesn't drain properly, A.C. isn't working correctly and TV remote didn't work. Had to wait over an hour for new remote. Unhelpful guest services. Also breakfast is no better than at a Hampton inn. Next time I'm staying at a different chain or the hilton garden inn down the street.

The hotel lobby was very nice. I liked the digital directory. We had a work party on the 19th floor and the elevator we got - the button wouldn't stay lit up, so we had to get off at the 18th floor and use another elevator. I also would have thought the party room we use would have looked nicer. Food was really good though.

Do not stay here. Our room was so hot we had to open a window and that didn't even help. We called the front desk and ask for a fan and they said they would put us on a waiting list.... that was two days ago. Call the front desk and ask how to turn the water on in the tub and the front desk lady said she didn't know because she'd never taken a shower here. Today, I asked the front desk lady why our room was so hot and she said that this building was on a two pipe system and that they don't turn on the air conditioning until April. This information would've been nice to know before we booked a room here. This place is a joke!!!

service was great. I had an issue with my room and they took care of it immediately. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit worn and could use updating though which is why i have it 4 stars instead of 5.

I will never visit this hotel again. My family and had to sit in the hallway of our room for 45 mintues because the door keys did not work. We had to go to the front desk 5 times to get a new key and each time the key did not work, mind you we were on the 12th floor, and we checked in at 1030pm, and I have a 5 year old who had grown very tired. Once in the room the tv remote did not work, the outlets did not work, the shower handle was broken, and you have to pay for parking in the hotels parking garage. We asked to be placed in a new room and was told they were booked. I will never stay at this hotel again nor recommend it.

Nice place to stay

Nice place to stay
Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Complimentary breakfast was good. Could hear my neighbors in room next door but it was not too intrusive. Nice location, close to shopping. Would stay again next time in Phoenix area.

Really bad experience. The rooms were so hot and humid that the carpets were damp. Staff seemed unconcerned and unapologetic. While waiting for a friend to arrive, we attempted to watch Tv, which wouldn't work. It took over an hour for anyone to come fix it. When I talked to the front desk about it, they said they forgot to call the service request in. Housekeeping knocked on our door first thing in the morning, hoping we had checked out & woke everyone up. We attempted to go downstairs for breakfast. It took us 45 mins to get an elevator. Breakfast was $17.50 a plate which seemed overpriced. We attempted to go back upstairs and it took another 45 minutes to get an elevator. Out of the 5 elevators, only one was working. There were crowds of people trying to catch the elevator. We finally got back upstairs to pack & leave. It took us another 40 minutes to get an elevator. It stopped at every floor and people kept piling on even when people said it was full. Guests were getting angry and fed up. It took about 20 minutes to ride the elevator crushed against a wall, to get to the lobby. Once checking out, there were extra charges on my visa. Including parking, which I didn't need. Also there were "gift shop" charges to my room which I did not authorize or charge myself. It was frustrating & staff seemed unconcerned. Stay somewhere else if you want to relax & not spend half your day waiting for an elevator.

It's clearly an older hotel, but the original was well built. Our room faced the freeway, but we barely heard any traffic noise.

Some things definitely showed age. For example, our toilet would be quiet then suddenly run then be quiet then run. We ended up turning it off at night and back on in the morning.

Lovely warm cookies on arrival and every evening (if you ask). We had a great supper at the Signatures bar downstairs. Highly recommend the mac and cheese! The breakfast buffet seemed overpriced though.

Free shuttle to thre airport and to the Old Market with restaurants, bars, and shopping.

An older property frequented by flight crews overnighting from Eppley field. Lively lounge most nights. Some intricacies with the climate control: you only have control of how hard your fan blows, you cannot just set a comfortable temperature as the heat operates exclusively in the winter months. Same deal with the AC in the summer.

Still, a decent place to stay.

Nice place, downtown area. Booked a "larger than normal" room and than was asked at check in if I wanted a "normal" room. Told them for same price I wanted "larger" but room was barely even normal. Think they over sold "larger" and gave us "normal". Beds are nice.

They were very kind when answering all my questions. I love the texting method they utilize so you do not have to call or go down to the front desk. In addition, they did not hesitate to provide us with a fridge and microwave in our room as it did not come with those items. The view is great from the 14th floor and I can't get enough of those warm cookies!

Extremely hot! They seemed unprepared for the large event we were a part of. Restaurant was suppose to be open until a certain time but would close early, turning people away an hour prior to close. They were also claiming long waits for food to discourage people from sitting when they actually were open. Food was good, but service was poor. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Average, pet-friendly, over-priced.

Average, pet-friendly, over-priced.

It s priced as a typical luxury downtown hotel, but hallways and rooms look like an average scuffed up motel 6. The hotel itself was scattered with numerous renovation-in-progress signs. I do understand that updates take time, but the price should reflect the current state of the building. If you are looking to splurge on a hotel for a night, wait until renovations are done for this one.

Nice hotel. I didn't find the staff very nice or helpful. I was greeted fairly poorly and the staff member visibly doubted who I said I was. I also requested a wake up call for the next day later in the evening and did not receive it.

Nice hotel for the family or the solo visitor to Omaha. Has a shuttle service to the airport, restaurant and bar for a late night dinner if needed. Conveniently located in downtown Omaha near a lot of financial buildings and about 5 blocks from the historic old town market area. Nice fitness room with modern equipment and also has a market store to purchase quick grab and go food if needed.
