So yes, Radda may not be THE most charming village in Chianti but there is the most famous grocery store and enoteca in the region. In terms of groceries, between the tastiest Tuscan products and those that all Italian uses in their cuisine, you will be spoiled for choice. What about cold meats and cheeses .. !!! You just have to go to the enoteca to choose, helped by the nice Porciatti family, your wines and oils of very high quality ... And then of course, you settle in and you can only succumb to this cuisine which seems so simple and yet is elaborated with a lot of subtlety ... For me it is one of the key addresses of the region, a unique cocktail that only Italy can offer you: products of exceptional quality, wines very well selected and outstanding cuisine in the enoteca just to side of the shop (The tripe to the Fiorentina with fiaggioli are to fall !!!) Ask Riccardo to advise you for the wines ... a big assured moment and some treasures to fill your car.

The variety of pecorino cheese and the flavours of each were amazing! They went well with the handmade flat breads! A great picnic! I will be looking for pecorino at home and hoping it tastes a little bit like the real Italian pecorino. Great memories.

I'm from Canada, to Montreal to be precise. I have never tasted a delicious pesto in my entire life! Their burrata, pecorino was delicious and their truffle ... OMG! I was visiting Tuscany and by chance I walked into this nice shop, glad I did! A must when traveling to Tuscany, a visit to Radda in Chianti is worth it. Thanks :)

Neat and clean shop equipped with everything that can be used for a lunch out of town. Both local and non-local products (including cured meats such as mortadella). What we got was good but not great. Average prices. Service in hand!
