Always a good stay here. Only had a leaky bathroom sink and made the floor wet, but no biggy.
Always a good stay here. Only had a leaky bathroom sink and made the floor wet, but no biggy.
Hotel was fine. Nice even, but not exceptional considering the price.
Best experience at a hotel in a very long time. Room was clean, staff were very friendly and it was exactly how it was described online when I booked.
Rooms were clean and well decorated. The view was great.
Great location in the middle of Downtown Toronto - right behind City Hall. It is easy to get to all attractions from here - either by walking or catching the 1 Train from St Patrick Station. My room - 1725 - was a corner with great views of the local area and a distant view of the CN Tower and lakefront district. The room was very clean and serviced well each day. Bathroom was maybe one of the best I have had staying at a mid-range hotel. Bed and bedding were average and could have been better. I would typically expect a free breakfast at this sort of hotel standard too - it was not included. Overall, it was a good place to stay.
Very nice clean room. Free wifi!!! Staff was courteous and friendly. Underground parking $30 per day. Didn't make use of the pool or the weight room but next time I will for sure. Also did not eat at their restaurants so no comment there! We were given warm cookies upon check-in though! Will definitely be returning to this hotel for my next visit.
I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel. From in-house reservation personnel to front desk staff their customer service is horrible.. The hassle we went through to book up until our stay was very frustrating. Note to upper management please ensure all staff undergo proper customer service training!!
Friendly staff. Clean room. Close to places I needed to get to.
perfect location, perfect bar n excellent service. rooms are just as shown in pictures. will visit again.
A great hotel located near the downtown and hospital s. Always a good experience.
Nice rooms, clean and spacious, great gym and pool and pretty easy WiFi!
Good clean room, and super close to Eaton center. 24/7 gym but it's tiny with limited workout options. Front desk was very helpful. Room was suppose to come with a robe but didn't. Room service breakfast was terrible.
I go here for Lunch and the menu has changed in the last year. Along with comfort food like Fish & Chips and Burgers, it has a whole range of Salads. But I'm talkin' olives, fried capers, feta, sweet onions, tomatoes and lemon olive oil dressing; quinoa, tortilla chips, black beans, avocado, queso fresco, roasted corn... and that's just 2 of the offerings! There are 5 flavourful, filling, never get bored salads. And the servers Vina, Rafie and Rasi are as attentive and unobtrusive as needed. They can really read a table's mood. Enjoy!
Lab Wah Heen is located on the second floor of the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel. Serves delicious Chinese food and is best known for their dim sum. Good food. Excellent service. Very welcoming atmosphere for young parents looking for a place to take young kids. Must visit if you are visiting T.O.
For a business stay, go elsewhere. This is a very busy tourist hotel and as such the qualities that make a hotel great for business are lacking, ie loud, over crowded elevators, over priced restaurant, lengthy check-in and check-out.
The location is in downtown Toronto. It was very convenient walks to public transportation. The service was great and the people are very hospitable and very helpful
Responsive staff, clean rooms, and free WiFi. Everything I need for a quick 2 day business trip.
Staff was friendly, rooms were nice but small. Bathroom tub was squishy and odd but other than that, good.
Lai Wah Heen was wonderful, delicious dim sum, great service
The hotel is nice enough, our stay there was uneventfull untill the chek out when they tried to charge us for an extra parking night, not big deal if wasn't for the rude tone of the host who told us we needed to pay because we didn't notify the hotel that we didn't use the parking again...
Went there to have breakfast with coworkers. Nothing fancy, the staff are nice. A decent place for quick morning meeting over the breakfast.
The room and hotel are very nice but wish that you could connect a device for streaming.
Room very small. Air conditioning from the volume like a rocket launch.
Nice staff, good breakfast.
The service at front desk was a ring and very pleasant. The housekeeping staff are top notch. Very clean rooms and 24 hour assistance without hassle.
A beautiful hotel in a quiet corner of downtown Toronto with great, comfortable and quiet rooms and reasonably priced. Incredibly helpful staff!
Clean and comfortable for the price. Great location. One thing is that the room always felt too hot or too cold.
This modern, clean hotel in the city center is conveniently located.
Great friendly staff. The lobby is quite nice as well - the location is great and would definitely revisit.
A mid-range hotel, well located, no big fault, but no extra either. A big least: the lifts are extremely poorly programmed. There are 3 or 4 lifts, but we always have the impression that only one or two are in operation, and we wait for long minutes at rush hours to access a cabin that is not full.
I am an Uber cyclist and I was just dropping off in order I had a question and the staff help me out fully!
I used it on a business trip. Room, restaurant, service, 4 star standard.
Great service. Parking is complicated and rooms are very small but great place overall
The location is convenient steps from downtown Toronto, rooms are clean staff is friendly. The underground parking lot is very tight be careful around the bends, if another car is coming up while you are going down, one of you may have to back up and make room, you may have to go all the way down to P5 just to find a spot.
If you come from AMEX to visit ... then it is the best where you can stay
The location is very cool, the center, everything is nearby, the view from the window of the 24th floor is just a bomb.
Not very clean, there was dust on the table and in the bathroom around the sink
Disturbing.
I stay in hotels rather often on business... perhaps 4-5 nights per month and although I rarely run into an issue I can't think of a time when the hotel didn't make it right. (however I can't remember a time because I simply don't complain... until now) Two concerns. First the room was mediocre at best as far as presentation however the linen was dirty... the bed spread was dirty... and the bathroom linen just was gross. Not impressed. But the icing on the cake was when I had an issue with the parking and I was charge when I should be the hotel refuse to reimburse me. I asked "so how do you make it right? Because obviously this isn't right." The assistant manager response was that he could do nothing because parking was under a different revenue stream. ??? WTH? Different revenue stream? He said "Yes however because I was a Hilton Awards member he could offer me some points." I replied no thank you and left. I was obviously dealing with a company that only cares about the revenue. The hotel is dirty and unethical. There are many other hotels in the area... do what's right.
This is a lovely hotel. I attended a professional conference the recently, and the venue was great. The food was fantastic, the venue was clean and well organized, and they offered free wifi. The parking spaces in the garage are tight and a little bit difficult to maneuver, but overall it was a good experience.
Good location and a very striking entrance and nothing more. Very limited, rooms are very small and everything is paid separately.
Nice room, pleasant service and comfortable bed, but terrible wifi
In the heart of downtown, nothing really wrong with this place except cost, but the service was excellent. Rooms were quiet, service was great, I booked a tour for the CN Tower at the desk and the staff gave me great walking directions. It was just a little pricey.
Very clean and modern. Great service. Great location
Room tiny , smelled . Front desk person named princess was rude and condescending . A ton of better options for nice places to stay here .
Close to a lot of places in downtown. Rooms and amenities are nice.
I was using a power chair and the room was less than acceptable
Nice place in a very convenient area, with Eaton center which the very big shopping mall and movie theater around. Right at corner has a sushi shop which is just right for tourist as if they want some Japanese food. Another side is Raman and some Chinese cuisine.
The room itself is nice and clean, the food they provide is over the average, the front desk is kind and friendly.
Guests and store the luggage at the front desk which is very convenient for people who don't want to carry the luggage around.
Recommend !!
The rooms were just as the photos show, if not better. They staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was the best as it was walking distance to a lot of places, especially restaurants. Would stay again.
Rooms are quite nice and comfortable. Was there for meetings and surprised how few/far I had to go for bathrooms from the meeting rooms and lounge .
Small but decent room, great location, friendly staff but slow check-in. Will return.
3 stays, 3 different levels of service. Inconsistent service ranging from good to barely provided.
Fire alarm went off at 4 Am with full hotel evacuation, for a false alarm. Walked down 10 flights of stairs, to walk outside and stand for an hour , fire department gets here and it s a false alarm. eventually sent back up 10 flights of stairs with no explanation as to what happened. No hotel employee in sight. Did I mention they have pictures of a hot tub they DONT have. Avoid like the plague, there s a ton of nice hotels in Toronto, especially with a better view. Overpriced, underwhelmed.
Loved the view. Great customer service. They also gave us freshly bakrd cookies when we arrived.
A much more improved look over many hotels I've had experience at.
The hotel was centrally located and had clean rooms.
Good location, very nice (but a bit small) rooms, very nice staff.
centrally located. very accommodating staff. while not the largest, rooms new and efficient.
Hotel is in a great location. Bedding is amazing and the cookies were so delicious upon check in. Highly recommended
Worst stay I've EVER had at a hotel. Management was a JOKE! Extremely rude front desk staff and the room was right in front of the ice machine and all the elevators for the floor. So the whole night all I heard was people screaming and the extremely loud ice machine. When I brought it to the attention of the staff upon check out the female at the front desk refused to "make it better" as their policy states I'll never waste my time with double tree ever again. I could/should have stayed at a hotel 5 minutes away for $25-$35 more and gotten that first class "customer service" everyone expects and deserves trusting an establishment especially when you rest your head there. I'm very disappointed in the whole ordeal , nothing was done to even try to rectify the issue so I'd just advise against staying here.
Expensive for the level of service offered. It's located in a very good position and the staff is very kind. Rooms and cleaning do not meet a 4 stars hotel.
Very nice hotel. Is the place you want to come again.
We have loved our stay (esp the housekeeping staff and location) BUT THEY ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR for the unforeseeable future AND THEY DON'T STOP WORKING EVEN AS I TYPE THIS AT 11PM. And were woken this morning as well. This is not the fault of the hotel (hence my rating) but I wanted others to know.
Service was great friendly staff cookies were delicious
Very friendly and helpful stuff, great food and conference service.
Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and in convenient location.
Great hotel for the following reasons: comfort, cleanliness, welcoming staff, and central location. The rooms are nicely appointed and the location is so incredibly convenient to amenities, shopping, and restaurants. My only complaint is the hotel parking which is narrow and difficult to navigate in a medium sized sedan...so much so that I always back into a parking spot.
Very comfortable room with an excellent breakfast. The parking structure is a little tight, but it's attached to the hotel which is nice. Within walking distance of all the major spots in Toronto, which is great for tourist life. Would definitely stay again.
Seemed nice. I was here because I meant to go to a different building but staff were kind.
Everything was good location and service. right near younge and Dundas square.
Excellent hotel, very good customer service, nice lobby and well designed rooms. Was throughly impressed with their commitment to COVID-19 prevention. Bed was very nice, good attention to detail and excellent affordability.
Wonderful staff, very comfortable meeting rooms, catered lunch was good, very nice room; small but well appointed. My old negative would be the underground parking, my car bottomed out every level on the way out.
Tucked away downtown this hotel is affordable with decent rooms.the staff was professional and service adequate.I would stay here again
My favorite affordable hotel in Toronto. The breakfast and the dim sum are amazing!
New fixtures. Comfortable space. Good view of the CN tower.
