Have been going to the New You since 1976 when a boyfriend recommended it. He's gone! I'm there. Wonderful service, always up to date--just had a curly perm that I loooooove!

I have been a client of Kris for many years and have enjoyed great service including haircuts, coloring and styling. I am very impressed with the modifications made in the salon during the current pandemic. As a dentist, I feel qualified to state that the staff at the New You are doing everything that they can to insure that the customers are safe.

New You Salon is FANTASTIC, best service ever. Megan Spicer is AMAZINGLY talented.

I had to find a new salon and new stylist after mine left for Florida and I'm so happy I found Kate at New You! She is a great stylist who really takes the time to listen to clients, take great notes and provide a great hair cut and color.

Finding a good hair artist takes a LOT of trust, because it really does make or break how you feel about your self. Which is why I am so incredibly happy I found Kate/Katie at this wonderful salon. She has great intuition from years of experience and she is not afraid to be honest. She has helped me take on some really unique and fun ideas when it comes to my hair, but also classy and elegant. And she always approaches the technique in a way that is healthy for your hair. I come to her with it all, from a cut and color, to my wedding day (my hair and makeup along with all my bridesmaids and mother). I have never felt more beautiful than when she is done with me! The rest of the staff there are always so funny and nice too. It's a wonderful atmosphere.

I had an amazing experience with Kathy. Firstly I loved that they are open on Sundays which works best for my busy schedule. She then gave a great color and knew exactly the color I meant when all I said was warmer than natural color. Finally she went above a normal stylist when she noticed I have a dry scalp, she gave me a nearly full bottle of specialty shampoo for free to see if it helps. This was definitely the most thorough salon visit I've ever had and you can clearly tell all the employees have a true passion for their craft.

Katie did an absolutely amazing job with my 4 year old's hair! She had her full attention the entire time and let her make all the decisions. It really made my daughter feel like a big girl! Great job and we'll be back for sure!

I wish I had known about Mia and the New You Salon sooner!!! I am absolutely in love with my new look. It s been a struggle trying to figure out how to work with my hair once it grew back after chemo. Mia did an amazing job with my color!! I look and feel like a completely different person. She took the time to show me what I need to do to style my hair and gave different ideas on what would work well with
me. Words can t express how happy I feel today. It s a drive from Belleville, but I will definitely be back!

Best place I EVER! Honestly. Most women have been to at least 5 or more salons LOOKING FOR A PLACE THAT THEY WILL LOVE. This is my place! I have had my hair cut, coloured, styled etc. You definately need to come in and see for yourself.

First and last time customer! Came here because they were open on a Sunday and I was in a rush to get my hair done. A simple cut and balayage. One of the co-owners did it, and although the cut did turn out well, the highlights that were put in are choppy, with horizontal lines left throughout my hair and not balayage as asked/shown. She did not blow out my hair when I verbally requested near the end of the appointment because I was out of time (even though there were no appointments waiting, I believe they were getting close to closing after 1pm on a Sunday, although their hours listed open until 4p) and I had not noted such when the online appointment was made. I felt extremely rushed by the end of it, and although I understand that I did not include a blowout in my appointment request because I was unaware it was required, I was unpleasantly surprised that one of the co-owners would not take the extra half hour to do a blow out on a first time customer, who as a result will not be returning. Not even an offer to spin around and see the back of my hair. I ll be returning to my usual stylist at the end of this month to have her fix the choppiness that was left from this appointment. I m an extremely reasonable and sweet person, but I was truly put off when I considered the appointment as a whole.

Bright side, I felt safe in terms of Covid precautions and the prices were very reasonable.

It was a late new year Eve about 2:30 pm I walked in I didn t have a appointment I thought for sure I will not be able to get my hair done but I was lucky enough to get Arta the super hair stylist to do an amazing hair style she was funny and professional she new her job very well. Mia Kelly is wonderful. I have been looking for a new stylist for years and it's terrifying, but Mia actually listens and asks clarifying questions about the look you are going for. Then she has the skill to tailor the style to your hair type.

Katie is so sweet and she never argues about what you want. She doesn't over book so she is never rushed. Plus all the yummy snack lol. I really like that she does just as well with my daughter's and can even do my sons.

I am a former hairdresser so I am super picky about who does my hair, I was desperate for hilights so I started googling salons open on Sunday s and came across this salon. The receptionist was accommodating and kind fit me in with Arta and she was amaazzzinnngg. Love the haircut, hilights, and the blow dry!! Made my 6 week follow up with her. So glad I found an amazing stylist.

This is interesting in a lot of ways I have to say I'm 73 years old and I think I got the best haircut of my life at your place Friday a couple weeks ago it was Chris that did it and she spoke about balance because she would switch the scissors from hand in and she just kept cutting and cutting and cutting and I was shocked how short it was but I haven't stopped getting compliments a couple weeks since it was cut and I expect I'll get more my name is Marty Cruger and I live in Colonial Hills Bloomfield Hills
