This place is weird in so many ways, good and bad. Nested on a relatively quite street in the end of dunds square and the beginning of the bush China town. Close to all hotels, attractions and bus terminal. Opening the door to this place is like opening the door to the past. Everything is old and shabby. Service is ok but God do they need to renovate.

The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was awesome with excellent service even though it was included. We tipped them well!

The only reason they lost a star was due to the lack of parking but to be honest, it is downtown Toronto, if I can I would give them 4.5!

2 horrible things happened . Very unhappy with the way they handle complaints and issues. They ruined my fiancee birthday . I have stayed here before without any issues. I paid extra money for a specific suite that I didn't get and let that go and then later on that might we got kicked out for "being loud" and it was only around 1230 on a Saturday night and all we were doing is talking and laughing . I'm sorry but didn't know that was a crime. I've stayed here before and usually recommend double tree hotels , but not anymore . Do not go to this hotel. Didn't give me the room I booked and then kick me out in the middle of the night, as of i have somewhere else to go. In all my years of staying in hotels (and I stay at hotels a few times a month), this was the first time this happened , we were not excessively loud nor rowdy nor had any music either, simply talking and laughing, maybe you need better thicker walls? Unbelievable.

Slow slow slow check in, mostly down to lack of preparation by guests not being prepared and asking numerous pointless questions. Front desk staff inconsistent some were friendly. Great location to take advantage of all that Toronto has to offer. Room on 24th floor quiet (most of the time we were in Toronto during the carnival) and very cool with individual temp control. Room clean and in-room artwork is of Toronto .

I had made reservation one month ago and had to cancel my trip to Toronto but they still took money on my visa even if I had call to cancel my reservation few days after.I call the Manager 3 time and left message twice on his voice mail and absolutely no response or call back. I am very disappoint about this because we been to this hotel before and everything was great.

The rooms are average. Needs to be updated in my opinion. Arrived today 12/9/2019. The worse view from my window that I've ever experienced. As a Hilton Honors member. I am highly disappointed. Also the hotel is cramped in the lobby. Not what I am use to. This is a business trip. I would have never picked this hotel. Oh and there's alot of construction in the area. See attached picture well that's the view from my room!! Will be closing my curtains.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. We got a room with a wonderful view, a bit small in size (long narrow corridor, big bed and little space inbetween, bathroom OK). For the price I'd have expected a bit more room for us.

An excellently located hotel to the downtown core of Toronto. Rooms are small on the smallish side. Great for single business travellers but not so much for a couple traveling long term. Didn't have room to comfortably open up our two medium sized luggage.

Bed is very comfortable and our corner unit gave is a great view.

The conference and front desk are very friendly and helpful. You also get an awesome cookie on check in.

Only thing I wasn't a fan of is the shower. The faucet were loose and you get blasted with cold water on your first attempt. Fixed shower head which seems standard in most Canadian hotels.

Overall a great experience and I will likely choose again when back in Toronto

Very dissapointed!!!!!! there was no mention of parking. Upon checkout they dinged me almost another $100. And I booked a room for 3 adults. I wouldnt call two double beds enough to accommodate 3 adults. I guess when they give you a parking pass for your dash it means nothing. Sad sad sad. Never stay here again..ever.

I don't think we'd stay there again. My husband and I were travelling with 2 teens and many rooms can easily accommodate that. Not so with this room with 2 double beds. It was so small we could hardly move. The bathroom was not very clean either so we chose not to shower there. The bed being comfortable was the only good thing about this hotel. The parking for which you pay for, which is normal, does not accommodate larger vehicles for which they should warn you about. The tunnel-like series of sharp turns to get down 5 levels to finally find a place to park, was treacherous to say the least. Not sure what you would do if you happen to meet up with a car coming in the opposite direction. Next time we take in a play at the Elgin Theatre, we will forgo the convenience of staying downtown to walk to the theatre for a better hotel. Hotel needs much upgrading.

This was my first time in Canada and came with a heavy snow storm. The moment I set foot in the hotel everything was perfect. I was never more cozy, warm and happy in my life.

I will say that the price can be a bit too much if you go like me, that leave really early in the morning and only returned to sleep. Believe me that you pay for an A+ service and facility but just take that into account. Me, personally, I don't like to do cheap traveling; I prefer to pay a great place like this and be sure that I'm going to be taken care of.

Clean and comfortable sleep. Stayed here after Jay game which was easily walkable. Room was a little tight, we reserved a king room and got a queen...hotel is little dated but at a discounted rate was good value.

Central. Easy access to subways and rail car. Also to the bus depots. Walking distance to Natham Phillips, Dundas Young and Eaton Center.

Tired hotel overall. Cleanliness level in suite was not up to mark and general upgrade to facility is urgently required. Hemisphere was great especially staff

Hilarious, their slogan is when you care it shows, well, they could not care less!! The telephone system is useless!!! There is no switchboard so it just rings endlessly. I have been waiting already for 14 minutes! FOURTEEN!!!
You dial the hotel number, it rings about 10 times then it tells you the menu again, you dial 0 again after each 10 rings about 6 times until you get to reservations and they tell you to go directly to the front desk!!!
If you are calling from abroad to reach your guest, you are wasting precious minutes for nothing! The hotel should have a switchboard operator who answers at the second or third ring maximum! UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I cancelled my reservation at this hotel, and they still haven t refunded my credit card after a week. I noticed this morning that they charged another $50 to my card today! Good luck trying to reach anyone who can help me-calling their front desk sends me straight to a call centre in god knows where, and whenever I ve reach the centre they say they can t even see the charges on their end. Now I have to open a dispute with MasterCard, because apparently refunding a customer is too difficult. And changing their card fraudulently a week later is the cherry on top! Amazing work guys, truly. Hope you re enjoying my $220.

Very nice, clean and fairly modern rooms with wonderful customer service.

The wellness centre and pool facilities are a bit basic

The TV are an annoyingly restricted so that you can connect anything via HDMI.

The baths are unusually low.

Very nice hotel in a really great location. They even serve warm cookies while you are waiting to check in. Super helpful friendly staff. We had an amazing view of the city from our hotel window too! The only thing was parking is $35 a night. We parked in Public parking across the street & street parking. It was WAY cheaper.

We are regular guests at the downtown Toronto Doubletree Hilton. The staff are terrific and the rooms are good. However, the construction activity in the parking garage has been totally mis-managed. Dirty and messy. Not up to Hilton standards.

If in Toronto this is the place to stay, located in heart of city walkable to food places, coffee, malls. Hospitality is 10/10, very nice and warm ambience. I visited in Covid times and quarantined myself for 14 days here and they did everything to keep you safe.

Will never recommend this hotel to anyone! They charge your credit card without your knowing and when they are questioned about those charges they have no explaination for them or even tell you they have no record of them on file! And to top it all off we were paying for parking with the ability of going in and out... so my husband and I took our vehicle out for dinner and when we returned there was no parking spaces available.. we were then told we could pay and park across the street at a public lot...
I was so angry at this point we checked out and went home early from our weekend away :(

If I could give them no stars I would have.. trust me.. don t let those warm chocolate chip cookies deceive you when you check in.. total scammers!

Standard doubletree hotel with cookies at check in. Unfortunately the WiFi was down for almost a day during my visit.
Breakfast is ok but nothing I d go there for. The rooms are comfy and are equipped with everything needed. Staff was always friendly and the location is Ok, not in the middle of everything but also not far out.
