Strategic location to know the city of Toronto, near the Eaton Center, subway and City Hall. The hotel is somewhat old but meets the standards of the chain. The beds are a bit high.

Good location. Walking distance to eateries, shops, CN tower and Aquarium. Clean rooms, good breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, french toast, pastries, fruit.
Very friendly staff, highly recommended. Close to queen street, Nathan Phillips square, very easy to get around.
Attended an industry event. The meeting room was good, professional service. The breakfast and lunch was also good. Overall experience was very pleasant.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff are wonderful, and the service is top notch. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Loved the cookies!
Service is good and the rooms are clean. Good soaps and shampoos, but not much bathroom space. Better to call and get a pre-paid rate because the booking rate is too high for what you get. Location is amazing. Not 5 stars because no breakfast and no gym.
Let me preface this by saying the staff were excellent. 5 stars for them.
The room, however, was thoroughly subpar. My biggest issue- it wasn't clean.
The door has some kind of white substance on it, I don't want to speculate what it was.
The shower had black mould in it. Shower rod was crooked and the curtain was crudely cut to fit on it.
Had to body check the bathroom door to close it. Someone mangled hanging the door. Crooked. The vanity sticks out into the door opening so I smashed my hip on it.
The toilet was loose and on a crazy angle.
I'm a contractor and I do high end renovations, and the fit and finish of this room was so subpar, a basic apprentice could do a better job. Just atrocious workmanship.
The WORST part was the a/c unit, around 1 am it started banging like a dump truck driving by, so no one slept. Annnnd it had loose wires hanging out, huge safety hazard.
So disappointed with this place.
Rooms are small but clean. The elevators are slow and need maintenance (started opening on every floor, etc). Location was great
Good location, helpful staff, good services and rooms
Well located and easy access to subway and underground city
Staff service was excellent! Accommodations were great as well.
They have a nice Chinese restaurant there, round the corner on street a lot of restaurant s provide choices
Professional friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Check in and check out were both easy and fast. Front desk was very helpful and housekeeping was courteous.
The customer service deserves much more praise. I was greeted promply and after a polite explaining that my entry was lost in the system they not only apologized but upgraded me as well. The room was spotless and very well kept. I had fun with the French guests who like to make remarks on my attire to respond in French as well. Pool could be a little warmer but I was picky. Overall, recommend for downtown.
Great place centrally located in downtown Toronto near bus station and many restraunts. Close walk to Nathan Phillips square. The parking garage is really tight. If you need to cancel Hilton has 48 hour cancellation policy, otherwise you may be charge for the full room just FYI. Rooms are nice I found the pillows very flat. Would stay again.
Ive stayed at the hotel a few times and honestly if you can find another hotel I suggest doing so. I never really had a good experience overall while staying here. The rooms are smaller than usual hotel rooms.
The last time I stayed it was for a work Christmas party. We did it at the hotel and I stayed the night. I left my Suit Jacket on the seat of the chair and forgot to take it with me. The next morning I went down to see if someone left it at the lost and found. Security went down to look for it and said he could not find it. I had asked if I could take a look as well and I was refused. I was told to call back on Monday because sometimes it takes a few days for it to come up. Anyways Monday at work I asked a few people if they took it and nobody did. So I called the hotel back and they said it was not there. I asked if I could come back to the hotel and look and once again I was refused. I know it is at the hotel but I guess they wanted to keep my jacket. Anyways, I would suggest any other hotel but this one. Not worth the money unless you find a room under $100.
I went to a business event here. It wasn't bad. There were no napkins on the table although food like Pizza and chicken wings were served.
Free WiFi, great staff. Close to Chinatown , ethnic food and the Eaton's Centre Dundas square. Pool abd gym very lacking.
Doubletree has amazing cookies and it is situated right in the heart of Toronto city. It s an amazing hotel and I would definitely give it 6-star ratings any day.
This hotel has a great staff and is close to public transportation and many attractions in Toronto. It's aso close to the Eaton centre.
This is always a great stay. Hotel is clean, staff are helpful, rooms are comfortable, location is central.
Though the beds were smaller in size, they were absolutely the most comfortable beds we slept on. The parking is tight and expensive, but worth it as driving in Toronto is unnecessary. As for the staff, they were extremely welcoming and helpful with questions from where to eat, to exchange rates for money. Would definitely stay here again!
Great location (next to the Mall and Subway) among other things. Clean rooms and very friendly staff. A+++ glad we stayed here!
Comfortable room, good location, good breakfast buffet. One word of caution: If you plan to park in the hotel garage, do not bring a large vehicle. Tight turns, not much manuvering room and small spaces. We watched an F150 bash its rear into a corner because of it.
Oh my! This hotel was a evidently rated as a 1 star experience when it definitely was anything but! Staff was great, they got my laundry done and on time for me, rooms clean and all amenities in place. Close walking distance to shopping and if you remember the TV show King of Kensington, you could walk to the filming neighborhood with ease.
My apologies for the 1 star review I never write a review or give a review without writing something. I honestly do not know how that could of happened... maybe when I was switching phones? Regardless, this is not a 1 star by any means and I cannot apologize enough for not catching this earlier.
It was ok. Made that they wouldn't refund me my money if I cancelled. Not even a partial refund
Beautiful room at a great price. The breakfast buffet is amazing!
Stay was as expected. No major issues, service was good.
The hotel looks great inside, customer service is excellent. I Would come back.
Stayed here on a personal weekend away and found the stay very enjoyable. Service and Rooms were fantastic and will certainly stay here again for either business or pleasure.
Small but nice room. Nice service. The underground parking lot was extremely tight and difficult.
Great hotel with ideal location for getting to all the hotspots in Toronto.
Great Chinese restaurant. Highly recommend the Peking duck.
Quiet, clean, checking in a bit slow. Value OK. Extended checkout offered was 30 minutes, not much of an extension but managed to get an hour.
Was there to visit a friend, the lobby is nice and cozy, rooms are comfy
The stay was okay. The location is great, 10 minute walk to the Eaton centre and the pool they have there is nice. Unfortunately though the paid parking is ridiculous. You re already paying $150-$200 a night and on top of that you have to pay $35 for parking. The parking lot is also super tiny and lots of sharp turns, I m surprised more people haven t got into accidents there
Location was good. Room was very quiet, and the curtains really blacked out the world. Bed was comfortable. Hotel in general felt a bit cramped. Room was small halls were narrow, bathroom and hallway ceilings were very low (I'm 6'3"), parkingwas extremely tight in the underground structure. Parking was also very expensive. 35 dollars really seems like price gauging to me, but it may be a Toronto thing.... Hotel also felt a bit outdated. Exterior structure aside, furniture has signs of being worn, bathroom was updated, as was the art, but it felt like a minimal investment kind of update. View was not spectacular from the 16th floor (east facing), but I believe it was probably the first floor with a view aside from the windows of the apartment building across the street. Overall, I would not be mad if I stayed here again, but I would be more interested in finding somewhere else that I liked better.
Everything was great, the service was nice, the workers were nice, food was delicious. Overall, great hotel
Rooms kind of small. Ice machine broke on our floor all week.
Great location and friendly staff.
Breakfast way overprced.
Great location. lots of good food places in walking distance. So close to City Hall and Nathan Phillips square
There's a business center where you can get printouts for free. Help desk staff is very cooperative
Friendly staff and access to rooms is easy and unobstrusive.
Double tree was great. We had a small but nice room. We were tourists and the service was great for helping us determine what to see. The restaurant had great food but was a little overpriced. The location is amazing. It is right downtown.
Nice rooms at good rates. Very friendly staff. Great location. Recommended. Would stay here again.
Good value, parking included, just 7 minutes in car or 20 minutes walking distance to main attractions (CN Tower, Aquarium).
Very nice hotel. Convenient location for my work in Toronto this trip. Very happy with this hotel.
My stay at the Hilton hotel was very pleasant. The place was really well kept and everything looked very modern. The location of the hotel was in a very convenient location allowing me to visit many places.
Nice hotel, very accessible to the public transportation, good restaurants (where the locals go), walking distance to Eaton Centre (mall), and Toronto sign.
Nice hotel. For some reason the staff kept coming into our meeting room that was empty and had no food service happening. Otherwise, tremendous.
The location is right beside Nathan Philips square, Eaton Centre and close to the financial and entertainment districts. The rooms are modern and spacious.
The shower was clogged and after 2 requests for the issue to be resolved by engineering it was never fixed. Further the tub was not cleaned properly following the clogging leaving scum on the bottom. Not a very nice hotel. Would not recommend.
Great stay! Rooms were clean and looked beautiful. Everything in the hotel looked impressive and up to date. Beds were comfy
Just ate at the Lai Wah Heen restaurant - great service but vegetarian food was a little limited and not as tasty as the non -veg - the non-veg options were enjoyed by those who ate it.
Poorly kept rooms. Mold in bathroom, curtain falling out of ceiling. Terrible smell in the lobby throughout our stay.
What a great hotel and excellent location. Princess at check in was fantastic and so was everyone else I met on my stay. Very clean cozy room. Cant wait for my next stay here!
The room is a little bit small, but it is very clean and safe. The most wonderful thing is the location! You can get any kind of food in this area.
Location was great, it's right by the Eaton center with many restaurants near by. The rooms were quite small, I stayed in a Roman with two queens. There wasn't much space to put luggage but, it was fine, the beds were confortable. I loved that we could get cookies if we just asked the staff, that was nice of them.
I have to put one star because it makes me. The staff were rude, the manager was worse. I asked for an early book in they said yes and when I got their I didn't get my room till 2 hours after regular check in time. Parking is way over priced and for what you get in a room, that's over priced too. I had lipstick on my sheets and they didnt come change it for a few hours. I do NOT recommend this place. It's in a sketchy neighborhood too
The check in process was off. I kept getting emails that my stay was a day earlier than what it was, reservation was correct. Staff is friendly and hotel is squeaky clean. Only downside I can see is that they didn't forward about the car parking fee which is $35/night for those needing to know.
Room was nice, though parking was really expensive.
Nice and comfortable accommodations that is close to many attractions
Well located hotel, within walking distance of several restaurants, attractions, etc. Room on the other hand a bit old, worn furniture, dirty sofa, should have some renovations.
Perfect location to explore the city. We parked our car and didn't touch it for the whole weekend. Everything was walkable!
Great location, clean and modern rooms, and the cookie on check-in is delicious!
Everyone was pleasant and very welcoming. We had a slight issue but it was taken care of immediately. Thank you everyone.
Good business travel hotel, no frills, well situated
I was at the bar with some friends. The hotel is very clean and looks really nice.
The venue is beautiful, the facilities are immaculate, the food is outstanding. Service was stellar.
Nice stay as always, little tricky to get the room to my desired temperature at first.
Great location in downtown, lots of places within walking distance.
Bed wasn't as comfortable as I was hoping.. but the room and hotel was very nice. Great service, very friendly and the complimentary cookies upon check-in is a nice touch!
Absolutely excellent place to stay. Had to stay here for 2 nights for my daughters surgery, front desk staff was amazing totally! Matt took excellent care of us and the room was spectacularly clean will recomend anytime.
Quaint hotel in a great location! Close to Dundas st, Nathan Philliips Square and more. It's reasonably priced for downtown Toronto and hotel offers some good amenities. Breakfast is ok and their in room dining is what made me downgrade one star. They can definitely improve their breakfast spread for a downtown Toronto hotel and price they charge $20+. Additionally, I ordered room service only to have a conversation on the phone with the staff member about how my food will actually be boxed and bagged because they cannot deliver normal room service. It was just a bit weird and would've been nice if I didn't have to eat out of a box. They could improve that service as well as their phone answering as it took me multiple calls to get through to concierge/front desk. Otherwise, clean and comfortable rooms.
The staff is so nice and helpful. The food is great along with the waiter who served us. And the surprise cookie was delicious.
