I bought my first car form Don Valley North Toyota. I got a traded in 2004 Honda civic with just 152000 miles for under $2000. The sales rep Anand Vyas helped me a bunch with all the little administrative stuff. I felt that he really wanted me to get the best deal, I never felt like he was trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge or anything like that. He was also always available to answer any of my question. Great guy to buy a car from. He also has an Instagram account where you can find what he has available all the time @donvalleyanand.
I recently visited this place with my friend. We asked at the reception that we are looking to buy a Corolla and we walked in without an appointment. They asked us to wait 5-10 mins which we did. when no one approached for 10 minutes we asked the receptionist again and I was shocked at the response. She said " the salesperson who speaks your language is not available at the moment " I did not understand what she meant by that. We spoke in English all the time, do not know what is " our language" here. I would say that is a very disrespectful way of treating a customer unless they have specifically asked for it.
I have just come from Don Valley North Toyota and service was amazing-- had maintenance and brake service. They even gave us free windshield wiper refills front and back free and a free jug of windshield washer, now that's real service- highly recommend this dealer and thx to Rodrigo Bascur for all the great work and follow up and for getting me in and out so quickly - and most importantly did not recommend service or work I didn't need- great work!!! Having had my car brought to different dealerships such as Dixie Toyota, and Yorkdale Toyota. I wanted to see how Don Valley North Toyota compared and was left finding that these dealerships have such a high standard for customer service which made it very difficult to compare the three.
When I arrived I met with Mark Lopez who assisted me with my appointment. Mark was very professional, honest and courteous. He made sure I received only what was needed and made sure I understood my situation.
The mechanic I wish I remembered his name* did a remarkable job (No markings on the car and the interior was left as is).

1. A rip off experience, paid $140 for the maintenance, and still charging me $41.05 for the engine oil. 2. Appointment at 10:15 am, my car finally got maintenance after 3.5 hours, left at 3:10 pm. Nearly 5 hours only for simple maintenance. 3. At 10:20, right after I drop off my car and found a place to seat, a person from DV north toyota called me and said someone is interesting in my car. And this is very disrespectful for the MISUSE of customer's information.

Worst used car sales person(s) experience ever: Being on a tight schedule, I have decided to go to the biggest dealer in GTA. I assumed being big, means experienced sales people. Who knows that old cheap tricks of the last decades can not work any more. Boy I was wrong!. The sales person was rude, slow and actually criticizing that I have prepared a list with the cars I want to see. Apparently, seeing five cars at their place was being "unfocused".
Long story short, I asked about a car price and he said a number I found reasonable. Inspected it, took it for a test drive, made an offer few hundreds lower than the price he said. Before taking the offer to the manager, he wanted to take my credit card for no reason! and I refused. The manager, not only declined my offer, which is perfectly fine, but asked for 500 more than the original price! And the poorly mannered sales person I was dealing with kept saying he made a mistake and the car is actually 1000 dollars more. And I am not being reasonable and if the manager "knew" he made this "mistake" he can fire him. He called his manager on the phone to "convince" him. I was very upset by them employing this old cheap technique. When my anger was visible, he offered to return to the original price, he said 3 hours earlier. I told him even if they give me the car at my asking price I am not dealing with them. A complete waste of a whole Saturday while paying for a rental. Steer clear from this place... You have been warned.
Upon reading the feedback of mm14, I was a little disappointed and not sure if I would go to your service centre in the future.
He should really get a compensation on those days that he couldn't work because of the mistake and trouble the service centre had cost him.
It s so unfair and unjust when that manager( whoever that was) told him that they won t cover his days of not being able to go to work and it is his problem.
Initially, He came to your centre to have some service done and the car was within your area of responsibility. Secondly, it was your crew who by mistake or totally out of his mind, smashed his car.Finally, He trusted your services would help him work efficiently and safely. So, it s clearly not his problem that he couldn t make a living because of your mistakes, as he clearly stated that he uses the car fully for work.
I hope he gets the proper support that he need regarding this matter.

The lovely receptionist are always smiling I had a few visits to this location and the general feel and attitude of employees looked motivated and happy to help... We bought a 2020 Camry Se Upgrade Model. Our Sales Rep was Lu Tian. He was an amazing individual to work with. Not once during our visits did we ever feel a pressure to buy, and neither did his customer service level change during our multiple visits. We had gone to a few other dealerships and you could tell when a sales rep made a judgement that we were not going to buy that day and therefore their customer service also declined as the visit continued. Lu supported us to understand our needs and we were able to negotiate a great deal on our purchase !

Don Valley North was the 3rd Toyota Dealership that I had dealt with before purchasing a car with Vijay. The Covid precautions they performed put me very at ease despite the fact that they were definitely the busiest.
I worked with a Salesperson, Vijay, who was very willing to work with us and our budgets. He was very friendly and not pushy at all. We saw two Rav4s and were lucky to in a Demo in our price range and were given a great deal.

We wanted to share with you the positive experience that we had with one of your sales consultants, Mr. Kapil Sachdeva, who helped us find a new Toyota vehicle.
Approximately wo weeks ago, we happened to be driving on Steeles Avenue East and we saw a huge and majestic Toyota dealership building. The building design immediately caught our attention. We decided to go inside as we were considering a new vehicle.
The showroom was quite busy and despite that, we decided to go inside to have a look as we were in the market for a new vehicle. A female person (unfortunately don't have her name) immediately greeted us and made us feel welcomed. She also said, that if we needed any help, to please let her know.
Shortly thereafter, after looking at some of the vehicles, we realized that we needed additional technical information. We approached and explained to that same person our request. In this circumstance, she informed me that she would contact a colleague, that is a sales consultant to help us out. She arranged for us to speak with Mr. Kapil Dachdeva and moments later, she introduced us to Kapil.
Kapil showed us a number of different vehicles and in doing so, Kapil took the time to explain the differences (not available in other vehicles but) found in the Toyota vehicles. In particular, Kapil emphasized the technological advances in particular, the safety features inherent in the Toyota vehicles.
At all times, he was very professional, friendly and very knowledgeable while at the same time, making us feel so comfortable with his explanations in a manner that was easy to follow.
Ultimately, with Kapil's expert advice and explanations, we decided on the Toyota Corolla and we consider ourselves lucky to have the vehicle that we wanted all along. We were very fortunate to have Kapil as our consultant as he helped us choose an excellent vehicle. Many thanks, Kapil.

Most specially I would like to give praise to my salesman, Jeffrey Pingol. Not only he was extremely genuine and awesome but also very professional and accommodating. I went in expecting to trade my car in a used vehicle. I didn't even want to consider a new vehicle thinking it was out of my price range. Jeffrey Pingol took the time to give me all of my options and was never pushy. I ended up getting a brand new car that I LOVE and can afford. At times, it seemed like Googer was negotiating the best price for a 2012 Venza that we were interested in with his management on our behalf. He delivered the car on the day of the sale in excellent condition and took it upon himself to ensure that financing and registration were also taken care of. As we needed the car for a trip, he even agreed to take care of a few minor paint issues after we had returned from the trip. Sales, not service related review. Went in to check out a demo vehicle and the sales staff seemed very pushy and not negotiable. Told the sales man that i did not want to pay basically full price for there demo vehicle, but instead just kept pushing financing and leasing. Realizing this was going no where, and decided to call quits and lost interest. But then the sales man asked me to stay, got the manager, and once again pushed the same things i already heard about. Will not be going back for any of my Toyota dealership related business.
Lu Tian was very helpful and patient and I appreciate all his help. He provided me with a lot of information and was available via phone and email at all times to answer all my questions.
I would absolutely recommend working with him to anyone who is interested in Toyota cars!

My purchase of a new 2018 car at DVN Toyota did not go well so my suggestion is that if car price is important, stay from this dealership and avoid the rude, dishonest, inattentive, pushy sales people. From my discussion with the car sales GM, the car dealership has a lot higher operating expenses, and as such, will need to rely on selling cars in higher quantities or ripping off a few customers through unethical means such as dishonesty, and unsavy car sales tactic. The dealership is very big and looks nice, but with the retail location, large staff, comes a lot of overhead and operating costs, meaning they won't have the ability to offer customers a good price if that's important to them.
As for my own car purchase, between the trade-in and new-car sales price, I estimated i pay at least $1500 more than I should had for a entry-level compact car. In the future, I suggest people use unhaggle or look for other dealerships who have the ability to offer customers a better deal.
UPDATE: Brittany, Sorry I've already reached out to your product advisor, new cars sales manager, and general sales manager. To put it politely, DVN toyota charges a lot more for the same product compared to other dealerships , along with an incredible amount of pushiness for upselling other products. People are better off staying away from your dealership.
Also your people is pushing their customers to shill for their dealership. It's kinda ridiculous telling me to just put all 10s in the customer survey....serious.
I was looking for a fuel-efficient vehicle due to the ridiculous high gas prices. I had found an online post for used 2004 Toyota Prius. Our sales person Usman Sultoni was polite and patient with us. He took us on a test drive with the car. Showed us all the features that came with it, and in addition showed us how fuel efficient the vehicle was with the on screen real time fuel MFD Consumption / Energy Monitor. And when it came to negotiating price he understood our needs and met them. I was totally satisfied with our purchase. Usman Sultoni wasn t there to pressure us and get a sale done. He actually listened and wanted to make sure we walked out of the dealership totally happy. He even had the car up and ready to go within a single business day. I have bought cars in multiple dealerships, but Don Valley North Toyota has been the safest and secure buy I have felt so far.
