I purchased a car here in 2014. I was under the impression that my warranty would be void if I had service done anywhere else. My last oil change cost $170 and took 2.5 hours. They rotated the tires and replaced the filters which is why they had a high service charge. They didn't wash my car even though I had been told that came standard with bringing your car in for service. If you want a good deal on a Kia come here, but if you want quality service look elsewhere.
Mr. Solis and his team are excellent! They make you feel right at home.
I took my car in to get the steering fixed. Picked it up it was driving good everything seemed fine. Till the next day when I was leaving from work and my car would not start. So I decided to check my fuses to see if one was blown. When I touched the fuse box the car started right up. So I took it back up their to let them know what's going on. They said that it was taken of in the process and would look at it to see if it was anything they did. He said it was the fuse box but it was not anything they did and was not going to fix it! So now my car runs when it wants to.worse service ever.
Ongoing good relationship since the day our 5the wheel was bought. Always surprises me to be addressed by name before I even say hello.
Martin Carbajal was referred to me by a friend who also works there, Luis Robles. I could not be happier with my experience! The car I had was 13 years old and I finally decided to trade it in for a "newly" used car. I went there this past weekend with my heart set on a Kia Sorento but the one he had was not available so he showed me a Hyundai Veracruz. Liked it immediately!!! Same size as the Sorento, although it seems a bit bigger to me (yippee!), and slightly different body style. I am super happy with my purchase and I really appreciate Martin's assistance.
Oh, can't forget Diego in Finance. The paperwork is always the worst part but he made the entire experience very easy and entertaining!

If I could give zero stars I would. The service manager has consistently provided insufficient answers to questions and is not reasonable with specific requests. I purchased my car here in 2014 and have had 100% of maintenance done here (with MUCH HEADACHE) but I will not be returning after I drove there and was informed that all service was now appointment only. The irony is that I used to make appointments for all my service and they would never honor them leaving me to wait for HOURS. I will never spend a penny there again and I will be sharing this with everyone I know.
My experience here was awesome! I had my doubts just because Toyota, Hyundai, and even Honda turned me down because I as a 18 yr old college student didn't have credit! My last try was DeMontrond Volkswagen. My mom had recommended me to get my first car here Because when she had bought her 2008 Jetta here, it was really reliable and she had previously had a good experience with them! Going into college is the reason I really wanted a reliable car! Didn't want to spend A lot of money on a car! Anyways, I was really doubtful but I still went in & that's when i met Jasmine Johnson! She was really helpful & bubbly! She explained the lifetime warranty and an idea of my monthly payments. She showed me the variety of car selections they had, she was really awesome! It came down for me to choose between a white jetta sport and a gray Jetta sport...I got the Gray Volkswagen Jetta TSI! Best Buy I have ever made! I've had the car (Her name is Bailee) for 3 weeks now, and it's been such a great economical car! She has nice leather seats, a nice touch screen & nice rims ! Plus, They gave me the opportunity to do a smart buy which Is like a lease but then like financing. From my understanding... You have 4 yrs to pay a certain amount once you are close to the end of your contract, you're going to get a letter in the mail that asks if you're going to stay with the car or trade it in! If you decide to trade in, they pay off the last 6 months of your contract. If you decide to stay with the car they give you the chance to finance the vehicle for a year & pay it off with a smaller monthly payment. I really appreciate DeMontrond for giving me a chance to not only get my first car but to help me build credit! Jasmine Johnson explained everything to me and was great help! Also, franklyn adames was the best! He explained everything to me & was a great finance consultant! He knows what he's doing! Awesome employees! Also, the times I've gone to pick up paper work or have had question about my car & jasmine Isn't there, Andres Reyes has been there! He's helped me so much & he is a potential hard worker. I recommend these people here if you're ever looking to buy at this dealership! Great job managers, for hiring them! Can't wait for my second buy in 4 yrs!
Good service by our saleman Craig he went above and beyond getting us the monthly payments we wanted even know it was a hard one with our trade in, we more than happy with the car and the deal we got. Will definitely recommend this dealer and hope we can make another deal in the future.
Very poor Customer Service. The Service Department lies. The employees will eat and drink in your car and put no mats down. The get the leather seats dirty. Lie that they do body work and it is not performed. If you contact anybody in Accounting, they are rude, wont even respond to email or follow up.
DO NOT use Ignacio as a sales man. No knowledge of the vehicles and will lie about features. Will not set anything up correctly, causing several trips to the Dealership. Will not answer phone call or will ignore. Will blatantly say, "That's not my job, I don't know". Very poor sales person, if you want to call him that.

The salesman tried to force us into a vehicle we couldn't afford, then financing kept sweating us for hours. Then we finally told them to forget it and we walked out. However, in what appears to be retaliation, we have suffered an unusually high number of credit requests for almost a week after we left the dealership (which was also the ONLY dealership to run our credit). Very unhappy. Reporting to BBB, Chamber of Commerce, etc. Will never return.
Where do I start? I was first baited to the dealership based of their "internet prices", which they do not disclose until you are sitting down going over the numbers. The vehicles I was interested in had every possible incentive added (Which I did not qualify for; i.e first responder, etc) Second, do not go here if you are looking for a "fair trade". What I was quoted for my trade was insulting! Several thousand under KBB, Blackbook, and other dealerships. I took my business elsewhere, and not only received what I was looking for on trade, but a great price on the SAME vehicle! Be aware that the "advertised price" is NOT what they honor, however, a way to get someone into the door.
The sales personnel were very friendly. The discussion about the auto price went well. Sales manager helped close the deal, easy to work with. Finance assistance went well and drove the car home.
Lets face it, no one likes dealing with pushy car salesmen but at DeMontrond we didnt get that. My wife and I have bought both of our cars from this dealership and are happy. The most recent visit was to get a car for my wife. We worked with Craig, who was very patient with us and not pushy at all. It took a few trips over there to find the right car at the price we felt was fair but we got the deal done and we are happy with the purchase. I have to file the complaint that an amount of coins left in my car was stolen, that my personal cards and stuffs were taken out the hidden case of the car, scattering at the Passenger Seat and that the trunk container for BACKUP Tire was opened when I picked up the car at your office.

Clint Grazier is works on the service side there at Houston Kia demontrond and he is very helpful. Our car is in the shop and thank God it is under warranty still. The power train warranty is legit. Our car started to over heat and low and behold one of the head gaskets cracked due to over heating! However Kia is fixing it and Clint gave us a really nice rental car until ours is finished. He is kind and cordial. Thanks Clint and Kia Demoontrond of Houston.
Nice dealership to buy from no one else would come close to their price if you know how to negotiate as for service had a few hiccups but they took care of everything to their word and my problem is fixed
Bought a vw golf from them a few years ago. They had good deals but are a little skeazy so watch out. For example, they said had done all the maintenance on the car and could attest it was well maintained, so I asked to see the records. At first they said yes, but then they kept delaying and trying to push me through the process. Finally I demanded and I saw the records and saw that the car had been in a minor fender bender.
I used this information to negotiate a better deal, but I was disappointed they weren't forthcoming about this information.
The other negative was warranty forever. This is a straight up scam. They require oil changes every 3000 miles (even though VW specifies 10K miles) -if you hit 3001 miles this warranty is invalid. Also you will be hounded by extended warranty telephone calls for years if you sign up for it.
One of the finest dealers I've ever dealt with. High recommend buying from our having service done.

I didn't think it was too much to ask for emailed out the door pricing. Once I finally got the pricing, the vehicle stock number internet window sticker MSRP didn't match the emailed quote MSRP. When I asked for the window sticker to compare, this is the response I got from Stan.
"Thanks for the email. Until we get a agreement on the vehicle I don t have a window sticker to send you. I will have to secure vehicle one we have a agreement. The vehicle would be the same vehicle as you saw here only with the cocoa dune seating.

I changed the battery on my Bertle and the radio needed a code. I called VW in the Woodlands and was told it will cost $180 and I needed to bring the car in for a few hours. This sounded like a rip off since it was cheaper to install an aftermarket MP 3 player.
Anyway, I decided to try DeMontrond VW and spoke to Dwayne, who was extremely helpful and after providing him with their vehicle details, he provided me with the code, with no charge.

I just purchased a 2018 Atlas, I was very happy with my experience. Adam was a great sales representative. My wife and I were able to take as much time as we needed to look over the vehicle without feeling like we had a shadow. The only negative was the length of time the finance process took although it was after 6 PM on a Saturday when we started that process. Overall great experience.

I see these negative reviews and quite frankly am surprised. I purchased a 2014 VW Golf, and my sales experience was absolutely wonderful. The finance department was not pushy or forward, I was in and out. I have had all of the service done at the dealership and it has been wonderful. I drive from Beaumont and they always accommodate me, fit me in where necessary and do whatever they can to make it easy on me. I will be many more cars from them and the only reason I would go anywhere else is for another make and model.

I was disappointed with today s service. My KIA Forte needed a few things: first, oil change and filter, after a 2-hr wait that was the only thing they did well, together with checking other inspection points (I hope they did as they said); second, a tire losing air, they said that the mechanic checked the tire, and it was not losing pressure, I assured it lost 7 psi, slowly but surely, so I requested to remove the tire and inspect again, and after another 30-45 min finally they agreed that it was a previous patch they did a few months back and repaired it (I hope); third, I asked to review a (subtle) rattling noise on the back, and they said they didn t have the time; fourth, a small windshield crack couldn t be repaired until Tuesday because the service is not offered everyday, so I ll have to waste my time again some other day. In summary, the overall experience was far away from excellent. I sincerely expect that they don t have interest to follow up on this review, son I don t have to waste any more time with them. All I want is a positive experience next time; for good or bad I got the windshield guarantee I have no option but to go back.
A few weeks after the incident above described, I went again last week to repair the same tire; apparently, it was a different nail, but yes this time they did their job very well, no delays, tire was balanced, didn t have to return. Good job this time! Congratulations!

Have used the service department twice with a new car we bought from them. First time I was 2nd in line when they opened and just was doing and oil change. 4 hours later my car was completed. Today my wife took it in with an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Over 2 and a 1/2 hours later the car was completed. Both of these jobs I do on my Ford Excursion at home without any lifts or special equipment and I am done in 30 minutes. Stay far far away from this place. When you ask for an update the service guys will just tell you that it is almost done even if it is not even started or has hours to be completed. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!
I drove 100 miles to get to the Dealership. They close at 9.00 pm and we got there at 7.45 pm and we were out before 10.00 pm. From Manager to Sales person to the Finance it was very very easy to Deal. No pressure from anyone. I will certainly go back to them and I will also recommend my Friends and Family Member's.

had a very bad experience with justin brown from the parts department. he wouldnt take a return on an unopened unused part. i guess he can do it because the tiny print on the reciept says only 10 days for returns. but the right thing to do would be to refund my money. unfortunately justin did not, so i am writing this review so no one else gets taken by these unethical cheats.
The RV is perhaps the most backward large industry in the US. The products are are typically sold on appeal not function and the industry execs know that style sells substance is secondary to the bottom line. With this in mind Demontrond does a decent job on the sales side. I believe they try to be honest. (3 stars)
The bright spot however is Rhea (five stars) in the service department. She truly is THE reason we continue to bring our unit in for service. If Demontrond were to let her go we would go too, we can't say enough good things about this hard working lady. As for the Techs George does outstanding work and is the most knowledgeable RV tech we have dealt with.
I was so stressed over my car being totaled and Jeff McNatt at DeMontrond made the entire process easy and stress free. He helped me get back into a new EOS, get the payments where I needed them to be, and even helped with turning in my rental so I didn't have to worry about that. I can't thank him (and Jimmy in Finance) enough. Great dealership, great people!
I bought a 2015 Kia Optima SXL right before New Year's Eve 2014. I researched the cars and they were my first visit, got treated with courtesy and respect but price was higher than I wanted. I shopped other Kia dealers on the Northwest side. After being tricked, lied to at Joe Myers I came back to Demontrond and spoke to Diego the sales manager and asked him to match a deal I fought my way into at JM. He topped it and Kia's financing team was also the best in customer service. They are truly worth your time.
Friendly guest service gave us alot of time and explanation of all the funtions wonderful
UPDATE June 26, 2017: The service manager, Ray Boudreaux, did eventually return my call. Phone communication has not changed, however, Emmanuel seems to communicate better by email. We've had our trailer in for other warranty items since. Same process.
My friends listened to me and purchased a 2018 Flagstaff V-Lite (same as our Windjammer) from Ron Hoover RV in Katy. I went for the walk-through with them this past Saturday. I learned at least three new things about our trailer during that walk-through and now realize how poor ours was with Demontrond. The sales/service/make-ready staff were all very professional and friendly. My friends were also satisfied with the process. I wish we had gone there instead of Demontrond.
By the way, we still tell EVERYONE about our experience. Even had a conversation with a couple at Mattress Firm Sunday.
ORIGINAL POST: We purchased our 2017 Rockwood Windjammer after the RV Show in Houston. David Torkelson was our salesperson. He was great. Even gave us his cell number and always answered when I texted. The purchase process was easy.
The delivery and everything since then was where things have gone wrong. We were told by David that the make-ready team were miracle workers and they would take care of the cleanup of the rig and some other minor issues that we found on our pre-purchase walk-through. We arrived on the delivery day and had to wait almost an hour (double-booked?). Walk-through took place. We pointed out all of the issues that still had not been addressed. We had to thoroughly clean the rig when we got it home because there had been zero miracle-working that day.
We found a damaged propane compartment door and received a "We owe" slip. So we brought the trailer into service (Emmanuel). When I can get Emmanuel on the phone, he's professional. The problem is, he doesn't return my calls. The service manager, Ray Boudreaux, has not returned my two calls. After leaving a message for Emmanuel at lunchtime yesterday asking for an update on the status of the warranty and "we owe" issues, he called back at 6:20 pm and simply left a message that he was returning my call and would be there for another 10 - 12 minutes....no updates.
Based on some of these reviews, I'm wondering what kind of condition our trailer will be in when we get it back. I gave 2 stars because of David Torkelson. I have already shared my experience with others and I believe I have succeeded in talking friends of ours who are currently looking at new trailers not to buy a Demontrond RV. We'll continue to share our experience at any opportunity.
I'll try to update this when/if there is ever a resolution.
Never for Service! There are so many more options out there that are much more efficient, faster, better and cheaper. Don't waste your time and money here.

This has to be the worst in customer service I have ever experienced. Called several times to get a service person to only get voice mails leaving messages with no response. Pay for a FULL SERVICE inspection only to be stranded 2 weeks later .. Several calls made again with no reply. . Car under warranty but I'm paying for forever warranty crap.

I cannot recommend this dealership. My wife and I purchased a certified 2014 Tahoe from salesman Thom Robinson in September 2015. While we were buying the vehicle, Thom said he had contacted the prior owner and said he would get us the spare key that they still had. Turns out he couldn't get the spare key and we were told too bad that is how buying a used car works. He did, however, offer to charge us to have a new set made. Way to change your tone and insult your customer after the sale! I have tried to contact management but they have not answered or returned my calls.
In addition, although we have had no issues with the vehicle itself, service after the sale has been extremely poor. No follow-up phone call or any of the typical acts of customer service that we have become accustomed to after our prior vehicle purchases at other dealerships.
With all of the dealerships in the Houston area, skip this one and find one with a little more integrity that will make you feel good about your purchase.

After working a deal from DeMontrond Volkswagen and receiving a price on a new 2017 VW GTI SE that was approved by the sales manager I drove 45 minutes to purchase my new car.
After arriving the price on the car was now much higher than they quoted me in my txt messages as was the amount they offered for my trade in.
With a difference of about 4-5K in the total deal I had to drive back home 45 minutes without a new car.
A real shame that they would not stand behind their written offer.
Contacted DeMontrod KIA and told them what type of car I wanted and for what payment, and they gave me a choice of vehicles at the terms I wanted. With the "Summer on KIA" 0% financing and 3 months no payments and they pay the first 2 payments, it was a great deal. My sales guy Mike OMealey was great and made everything easy.

The entire VW scandal regarding the NOx sensor was a complete disaster for us. Our Passat TDI was hell on wheels and left us in a heap of stress. This dealerships service department did nothing but lie to us for over a month. Daniel the manager gave us the run around for God knows how long about what is the real issue with our car and we went without the car about 2 months. The truth here is the NOx sensors was being used as a defeat device to cover up the bad emission the car gave off. There was never a real fix for the car. We just kept being told the only fix is a software update which continues to hide the problem. Little did they tell us this update just hides the nitrogen oxide levels the car gives off meaning the problem was never fixed but the computer tells you it's ok. VW is a joke and this dealer lied to us when we went to have the car bought back. They told us we would get 7800 dollars back total and we ended up only getting 3500. We would have never agreed to that. April the lady who helped us finish the buy back told us to our face we would get back that much and we were given the run around for weeks. VW has created a new breed of crooks and liars in the auto industry it's sad because I loved VW cars I've driven them for over 10 years faithfully. I will never buy one again.

Got in, got out. Family own two other KIA so it wasn't our first time at the Rodeo. Was a bit disappointed that they didn't wash the car before giving it to me. And now dealing with some financial issues so hopefully they will resolve it soon.

On 5/30/16 I spoke to Melvin in sales. My wife and I test drove a 2016 Passat loved it. We worked out a deal then spoke with Amy in finance. We signed paperwork and then on our way. Don't trust these people! I went to this Demontrond on 45 North Feb. 14 of this year and told the manager working that I was a single mom with limited $ but had a little over 3k to spend- cash for a car and was looking for something safe and that would last at least a year. He told me Larry would help me and he did. I bought a 97 Ford Taurus with just 111,000 miles, which I thought was a great deal. I asked Larry if he felt the car would last for at least a year without needing any major repairs, he said with confidence it would and should last 2 years really with regular maintence.
Well- Larry is a liar. It has been just barely over 4 months since I bought the car and I keep having slow leaks in the two front tires, every time I turn right there's this loud clicking sound- which has now turned into a squeal from hell and sounds like the tires or bolts are about to pop right off and the brake warning light is on as well.
I called Larry tonight and he told me I could bring it in and they'd look at it- but would have to charge me for looking at it and finding out what is wrong since they did not offer a warranty- one I was under the impression I wouldn't need since Larry said everything would be fine for a year- as I took the car for a test drive- knowing I have an infant and a toddler. I will go in there tomorrow and speak with the manager and maybe will write a better review if he can manage to take care of this issue.
Either way- be warned.. if you're like me- a single mom of 2 young kids that can't afford much but wants a SAFE car to drive your family around in.. I wouldn't come here- obviously their sales people don't care too much for the well-being of women and children- or babies smh.. Shame on Larry!.
