After shopping for a Honda Civic from a few dealers I decided to sign my lease with DCH Academy Honda. They beat all of my other lease quotes by leaps and bounds! Their team is very knowledgeable and proved a personalized approach and do not try to beat you up to make a deal. I will definitely be recommending this dealership in the future.

DCH Acadamy Honda is not your typical dealership. I ve been buying cars from this dealership for over 20 years.

Last month I purchased a 2018 Accord EX/L leftover from them. They were incredibly helpful, and bent over backwards to get me great numbers on my trade, incredibly aggressive and competitive numbers for the price of the car, and a great finance rate. Numbers were lower on the price then all the numbers I saw from the research I did online. Trade in was also higher then I was seeing on values, and I got a great APR.

This past week my wife decided to trade in her Toyota Venza and enjoyed the same experience when purchasing her 2019 Passport.

I always shop against other dealerships, and 100% of the time they have taken care of me on trade in, car price, and finance rate. I ve been coming here for years, and will always recommend them.

On my day off from work, I stopped by this dealership on the off-chance I could get find a particular vehicle and a better deal than the one offered from a good friend that worked at another Honda dealership. I was immediately met by salesman Jason Sepulveda who showed me the Pilot I wanted for my wife. He clearly understood my particular needs and wants in a vehicle and a price, and was very patient, professional, and thankfully very straightforward. I was definitely in no rush or given any pressure at all to buy a vehicle. I brought my wife back later that same day, for her obvious approval, and she wholesomely agreed that I stumbled into the right place with the right people.

Sales manager John Nguyen and business manager Paul Marques finished out our buying process with great care and attention, even when we asked what seemed like a million questions.

In my opinion, nothing feels better than knowing you're valued because you're respected, not respected because you're valued. These guys I met for the very first time gave me the respect and attention that everyone deserves. More importantly, I didn't just want to buy a vehicle at a price I wanted - I wanted to find a place that I know I can come to, for sales and service, where we're genuinely welcomed, helped, and appreciated. I'm sure we've found our place right here at DCH Academy Honda.

UPDATE: My 5-star review is justified. Came in for my first few services on my new car, and - just like the sales floor - their service floor was just as stellar, from the staff to the service.

Bought a vehicle at the dealership.

Bought a vehicle at the dealership.
From beginning to end it took over 5 hours to complete. During signing for the loan and purchase of this vehicle, the loan manager starts going over a bunch of additional items and charges that are identified as being added because DCH Honda states they need to be on the vehicle whether you want them or not, and since they have already been installed they cannot do anything about it. This is a total scam.
Over 2K in additions is a little ridiculous and not once was this disclosed during the negotiation process for the sale of this vehicle. Once all the financial paperwork is finished, the vehicle is turned over with an IOU, but the dealership never follows up on this IOU for the engine not operating properly.
On my way home the air bag light illuminates in the car and does not go off, now reviewing the so called extended warranty that supposedly covers the entire vehicle according to the loan manager, this is also not covered under the extended warranty. The transmission shifts hard from gear to gear when in drive to its final overdrive gear.
Last but not least, I have the vehicle registered and plated by this dealership, and they never call me to advise me that my plates and registration have come in, I end up driving the car on an expired temp tags, so I can get my plates for my car.
I finally acquire my plates, and the car does not have a front plate holder on it. Who sells a car in a state that requires a plate in the front and the rear of the vehicle and does not have a plate bracket on the front of the vehicle to hold the front plate on. I would never buy a vehicle from this dealership again, and also would not recommend them to anyone else.

We recently traded in our vehicle and purchased a 2011 Honda CRV. Gerry was great during the whole process and tour trade in and purchase was quick and painless. This is our second time visiting this dealership and purchasing a vehicle and we will definitely be doing business with them in the future!

I had an excellent experience working with DCH Academy Honda. I worked with GM Joe Scardigno in advance to review my options for purchasing or leasing a car for my mother, who had been used to driving a Lexus. We came to the showroom on black Friday to close the deal. Even though it was very busy, Joe made plenty of time for us. He also paired us with one of his sales consultants, Joe Guzzo, to work through the details and paperwork for leasing an Accord LX. All members of the sales and finance team were pleasant, patient and polite. Both Joe Scardigno and Joe Guzzo made everything seem easy and low-stress. And, my mother loves the car! I would highly recommend DCH Academy Honda.

This is the third new car we have bought at DCH Academy Honda in Old Bridge, and our experiences have been positive each time. This time we knew what car we wanted, and had already been to another dealer closer to home. When we visited the first dealer, we were first told that we would prefer a different car, and then that it would be impossible to get the car we wanted with a manual transmission - or in a color that we liked. We were so frustrated that we were prepared to look at Toyotas and Subarus and give up on a Honda entirely. However, fortunately, we decided to make a phone call to DCH Academy Honda first. Mark Kamatoy provided helpful and very specific information about availability and pricing over the phone, assured us that he would help us get the car we wanted, and arranged a time for us to visit and test drive. Mark introduced us to Joe Koedros, who took us out to drive what would become our new car the next day. Like Mark, Joe was informative and helpful. He also proved to be friendly and interesting to talk to while we waited for some of our paperwork to be completed. Everyone we dealt with was warmly professional. Even though it was busy in the showroom both evenings, we were not rushed. We particularly appreciated that there were no negotiation games and there was no pressure to purchase options or packages that we didn't want. So, with no arguments or apparent difficulties, Mark and Joe sold us the car we wanted, with the transmission we wanted, in a color we liked, and at a price that was lower than the theoretical price we were quoted by another dealer for a car that wouldn't even have been exactly what we wanted.

We have been shopping around for a Honda Accord EXL with Navi,with a specific color in our mind. We arrived at DCH, Oldbridge to enquire about the pricing and check if the model exists. We have not made any earlier reservations and are hoping that we would be able to talk with a sales representative who can understand our requirements.

Fortunately we were able to meet, Paul P. Aweeky. He is a man of words. If you are a willing buyer he works with you to make the deal happen. We are very impressed. He just took the numbers we had from our home work and tried to match as much as possible with all options we requested.

Overall, we are very satisfied/happy and recommend DCH Oldbridge and Paul as one of the best representatives.

I do not typically write reviews, but my experience with Tyler at Dch academy Honda was so incredible that I had to share for other future buyers. I walked into this dealership expecting the usual stingy and condescending stigma, but this entire place proved me very wrong. I did not feel pressured or cornered in any way and the entire deal went tremendously well. The entire staff was very friendly and inviting and I could immediately tell the salesman I worked with, Tyler, was very sophisticated and knowledgable. I will definitely be recommending him to everyone I know!

I went in with a pre qualified offer the sales guy was super cool and laid back not too pushy. My credit isn t great but I got a pre qualification from a bank. I went in test drove the car basically fell in love with it. Sat down gave them the paper work of my pre qualification. When they ran the numbers to the bank they came back and said the bank wants more money down and also the payment will be higher then what I was prequalified for, they also states that the dealer fee is $100 more then it said on the ore qualification. Also stated that the sale price in the internet wasn t the financed process so the car cost a different price There also was a 2,000 charge that the bank requires for a 2 year 24,000 miles warranty on engine and transmission . Now the next day I called the bank and told them the situation they stated that my pre qualification is still valid and that I would get approved in the terms the bank told me. Now I ask about the 2,000 dollars extra fee that the dealer was charging the bank state that in my loan application there s no need for that extra warranty fee and didn t know why the bank is charging that fee. I just called to try to speak with someone in financed and no one picked up and went to voicemail. I m dissatisfied with what happen and not being able to closed the deal.

This dealer exceeded expectations. It feels too good to be true. This is the first time I don't feel like someone in a dealer just wants my money. Every single person I encountered was courteous, professional, dedicated and had a good sense of humor. Luis Fernandez did all he could and more to accomodate me, my significant other and our budget. He will make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. The most sympathetic person I have dealt with while buying/leasing a vehicle. Whenever I need another vehicle I will definitely come back to Luis without a single doubt. (Someone give this gentleman a raise!)

Paul Marques assisted with the financial part of the deal and he could not be any more straightforward, he did not make me feel stressed at all, had a good time during the process.

I did a lot of pre-work via email with LISA of DCH so when I hit the showroom, DCH honored the price without trying to sneak other items into the deal. I was prepared to pay cash but took the super low rate financing offered. I knew exactly precisely what I wanted before I even hit the dealership, so for me Johnny was the right salesperson. Tody 3/24/15 I was held hostage at DCH Academy Honda by an untrained salesperson who could not get his act together. I ended up spending 6 hours at the dealarship with 2 breaks as I had to flee to preserve my sanity. The salesperson was poorly trained and had no clue how to move the sale along. John Nguyen, the Slaes manager did not move things along but valently tried to give advice to the sales consultant. I should have just left and given up. Now will they hold me hostage again when I go to pick up my license plates. I have never in 53 years of buying cars had such a misrable experiene. When the car was finally delivered a simple thing of having the correct time on the clock was done. I would not recommend DCH Academy Honda to any body !

We had a very traumatic experience with another Honda dealership last year and were hesitant to try again. So we drove more than 50 miles just to go to DCH Academy Honda to see what the dealership is all about.

I mentioned that I will be leaving my car and asked if someone can drop me home as I stay couple of miles away. They said that we will be able to drop you. Surprise..... when I actually left my car with them on the day of service, I was told that the shuttle service does not start until 10.00. Did they expect me to wait for 3 hours for a ride? I saw an Ad on Acura MDX under the used car section and decided to have a test drive. After the test drive I made a mistake of giving my visitor card. I believe they thought I was a well to do person and I will pay what ever price they have quoted for the used car. I called the next day and told them that I will put an offer. The moment the sales guy heard that he was disgruntled even before I had an opportunity to put my offer. He was like, This car is on sale. What do you mean putting an offer blah blah blah. When I put forth my offer after listening to his nonsense, He was agitated. Their sales guy does not even have the decency to politely refuse. Instead he says that he is not in the business of selling cars at a loss. Well even I am not in the business of paying sticker price for a car. Perhaps that's how they treat a used car buyer.

This has been absolutely the best dealer experience we have had in all the years, because of Mr. Erich Tam's professionalism, patience, and customer-first mindset. We wanted a trade-in, and Mr. Tam said that our old car would be an acceptable make and model. After we signed all the paperwork and were getting the old car ready for trade-in, we got a phone call from the company that our car turned out to be unacceptable. We got very upset and had to rush to stop paying off the old car, and stop the order of accessories for the new car, etc. Mr. Tam remained very calm and effective the whole time, trying his best to help us cancel the deal, and even got the cancellation fee waived. We know that he's gotten some hard time from the management, yet he has been pleasant and professional during the whole process and had not one word of complaint against anyone. We were extremely satisfied and grateful! We will definitely use Mr. Tam's service again in the future and make the highest recommendation about him to anyone who desires to be treated with respect, efficiency and professionalism!

I first contacted the dealership by requesting a quote for a 2013 pilot via their website. Upon entering the dealership they honored that quote and didnt try to switch it up for something more expensive or say that vehical is no longer available, as some dealers do. Joseph Guzzo, listened to what I was looking for and mentioned different options for my purchase. When I declined, he didnt try pushing them on me. When I returned with my wife to finalize the purchase he spoke to us BOTH and not just me. He worked with me on my trade and worked the numbers to my satisfaction. Actually paying less now than I was on my trade in of the lower model pilot. The vehical was preped on time as promised and in surperb condition. When leaving the Mgr came out to check if every thing went smoothly and thanked me for my purchase.

So one day I was just browsing online a little while later I got a phone call from Megan at your dealership she was great to work with i felt confident in the fact that she was actually there to help me find my car at my budget and not play games with me just to inflate her commision!!! I visited DCH Academy Honda on Friday, 18th July, 2014 after reading good reviews about them and got an internet price offer from one of the internet sales person Jennifer Calderon for 2014 Honda CRV AWD EXL. My experience with her over the phone was really good thus I decided to visit the dealer.

I mainly dealt with sales person Michael Roberts, who was good in pricing negotiation and overall experience was good with him till we reach to the point where he suppose to let me know financing interest rate. And actual problems starts there and thus this rating.

Having mentioned during negotiation of my T1 credit rating, I asked for 1.9 rate of interest for 60 months which Academy Honda promised they will try. Post my credit check I fall in T1 credit rating category though Michael or Academy's finance team unable to commit anything on that day. Asked me to put USD 500 as refundable deposit and said they will come back to me on Saturday about financing approval and rate of interest which they never did. On Monday. 21st July, 2014 I received a call from Michael Roberts saying my auto load has been approved and I can visit the dealer and take the vehicle. When I asked what's the rate of interest he starts giving me excuses like he is not aware and finance manager is not in till 6:00 pm so I cannot tell you unless you come down to the dealership. When I refused and insisted I got another call from one of Finance Director, she was not worth of talking at all. Have CRV recall. The 1st time I called, I was told that they would notify me when the parts come in, no offer of a rental car. The second time I called and pressed the issue, I was told Academy uses Enterprise Car Rentals. They offered me a Ford Focus to rent until my part comes in. DCH is hitting the bottom of the Customer service ratings. Maybe they need to spend another million for another JDPower rating. My son in law purchased his CRV at OPEN ROAD and they accommodated him with a 2016 NEW ACCORD until his recall is fixed - no questions asked. Are you kidding me, a FORD FOCUS. After my recall is fixed, it'll be time to buy another CRV. This time from BARRY at OPEN ROAD. Sounds good PG.......

They are not really willing to work with you on negotiating and they charge you a mandatory nitrogen tire fill of $200.

If you need a new part after you but your used car, make sure you stay on top of it. They may not order it until you call to follow up. Service dept was awesome and speedy when I took my car in for part replacement.

I would have given 4 stars except I just looked at my credit and it dropped 80 points because I now have 7 additional hard inquiries after getting a loan. I've worked hard to keep top notch credit and buying here really messed it up. Make sure you finance elsewhere! So much for delivering customer happiness. They have failed on that count.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WHEN PURCHASING A CAR. THEY DO NOT HOLD UP THEIR END OF THE DEAL AND DO NOT CARE IF THEY PUT UNSAFE CARS ON THE ROAD. THERE ARE SO MANY DEALERS OUT THERE....FIND ONE THAT IS HONEST AND DOES NOT SCREW CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!
