While shopping for a car, I had an excellent experience. The sales peoples in DCH Academy Honda are very helpful and courteous.
I walked into the sales floor in the morning, took a test drive and made a deal with Ivon and Pete in less than a half hour. I had been to 10 different dealerships trying to get a good price on my trade-in; Ivon and Pete made it happen no fuss, no anger, no mess. They did what was needed to make me happy and keep me happy even a few days after the purchase. Terry could have been a little faster getting the finance paperwork ready, but even he was just as friendly and not pushy. Maybe I lucked out that day (cause I normally do not like going to car dealerships) but they made my latest dealership experience feel like a normal everyday transaction (e.g. grocery shopping) and I would definitely return to buy another car from them in the future.

Arrived 10 minutes early for my oil change, but left over 2.5 hours later because apparently appointments don't mean anything to DCH Honda.
Why bother scheduling a time in advance if you're just going to overbook and prioritize walk-ins?
At least Mr. Glorioso was kind enough to apologize for the wait. Doesn't change the fact I wasted a large portion of my day for an oil change!
Brought my Honda in after some weird sensor malfunctioning causing it to ring intermittently while operating. Sylwester, the service advisor, was warm, empathetic, and kept me updated throughout the process. After a few days, I picked the car up but the problem seemed to persist. Brought it back again and this time Sylwester was adamant in getting the problem resolved. He continued to keep me updated every step of the way - the problem hasn't occurred since. Thank you Sylwester for the great work and the even better customer care.
I recently purchased a new car from DCH Academy Honda, before making the purchase I had contacted many Honda dealers(5) for the quotes, most of them gave me a price which was way higher and even after negotiations they didn't give me a good price.
With DCH Academy Honda, the day before my purchase I contacted them for the first time over the phone and they emailed me the quote within the next 10min and to my pleasant surprise there quote was much lower than any price other dealers had given me(not even in writing).

I recently bought a certified 2012 Honda civic from the DCH academy honda located on the US 9, the sales representative Tony Lopez who attended me once i walked in was excellent. He was spot on with the options to my needs and he got me a very good deal on the table. He helped me to reach closer to my numbers as well.
Secondly the showroom operates very transparently, no hidden charges as how a lot of other dealerships do. They do not add any hidden component on to the bill once you arrive at your number.

I bought a new SUV from Ryan Hoey a week and a half ago. Even though we went over the car, I still had questions because I didn t know how to use everything and he still took the time to go over everything with me. Most salesman wouldn t do that but he did.
Bad experience with finance guy, tried to charge me 48 dollars to run my credit, never seen this, no deeler charges you to see your credit. seller is ok.
I am a repeat customer. I would refer friends as well as family here. I could not be more happy with the customer service I was given as well as they were more interested in what I was looking for or what would make me happy ...rather than just pushing sales.. May I just say if your looking for a car new or used and you should head out to DCH in Old Bridge and get the treatment you deserve and a car you will fall in with. I ended up selecting a Honda Accord and was almost ready to buy it. But then the inevitable happened. I forgot my license in the shop and I realized next day which was Sunday. They are closed on Sunday. So I dropped email left voice mail. I knew I won't get an answer before Monday but still I tried. meanwhile I changed all my travel plans because I had to fly on Monday so I had to change it to Tuesday which costed me more 200 bucks. I was still OK. Next morning I thought I will get a call but I ended up calling. I got to know that the sales person knew I left my license there and never bothered to let me know not had the courtesy to contact my by any means. I went there and collected my license and decided I am not going to buy the car from them. Since then I ignored all the calls. Later I found that the card details I gave them earlier they charged me for that. That was shocking. I contacted them through email to revert it but its more than a month now and they have not returned my money. I just disputed that transaction from my bank account and hope will get my money back. I went to this place only after I saw the rating but the whole things seems to different. I would not recommend any of my friend or family to ever go there.
My sales person was Ash - he was amazing. My dad has this saying, "those who give you the best service deserve my money." This was my first "big girl" purchase and I can honestly say I trust Ash to help me make the right decision and give me the right deal.
Where literally there all day, but we never felt rushed and never felt like he wanted to "pass" us on to someone else. Very informative and attentive to what I wanted in my car and made sure I got all of it within my price range.

One of the worst dealship I have come across. Purchased 2014 honda accord back in July, Jesse was one of their sales rep that helped us to honest he was the only person that was the most helpful. However, buying a car was not an issue the issue that we came across was how much they charge for tags and registration and yet nothing is done on time. Let me tell you car was bought in July and yet j don't have my permanent tags and registration. Manager Petter one of the rudest individual I came across, doesn't even deserve to work anywhere based on the customer service skills and the way he deals with the situation. I have been calling for updated on the plate since the day my temporary plate expired and no one has answers to what's going on. However, yesterday petter had an urge to tell me that the problems are with your home state and the addresses don't match.
First of all the car shouildnt have been off the lot if you were missing addresses or signatures. And how are you going to tell me addresses you have on file don't match when I'm living at my place for over 9 years and therefore I sent them the picture of my I'D and the Documents I got from them and guess what the addresses where just fine. Then came the issue with power of attorney. They over nighted me something that they needed me to sign which, was done and over nighted. Well it was delivered on August 25th and again the manager petter had an urge to tell me they never got it when I have a proof of delivery and the person who accepted it.
I was only given updates when I called. Apparently according to them they run my bf and my phone and never got a hold of us. I have a proof of my call records that DCH never tried calling us to tell us about any updates.
So, DCH get you act together and get better employees tbat knos what they are doing. And lastly stop charging customers so much for tags and plates if you can't get them done on time.
Went to DCH Academy Honda after previously visiting Open Road in Edison. Enrique was the complete opposite of the experience I had at Open Road! He was funny, inviting, and just an all around pleasant person to deal with. I went in only trying to price around and determine if the offer I got at Open Road was a good one and walked out with my new CR-V EX and a great price! Him and Bryan were awesome and made the time it takes from start to finish so much more pleasant and were even able to get me a lower interest rate! Enrique called a week later to follow up about the car and see if I had any questions. Very nice experience and I'm so glad I went there! I couldn't be happier and I'll definitely go back for my next Honda.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service department. Be prepared to wait for hours or to leave car overnight.
I've been there several times for an ongoing electrical problem and have had tires checked and replaced. I had free Nitro tire service for a year and had tires serviced and replaced about 6 times. The last tire to be replaced with a new one was rear passenger.
I was at service in February for an ongoing electrical problem and tires were making strange noise. Electrical problem wasn't found, tires were supposedly fine but was told I needed new calipers and they had to bleed my brakes (I found out later wasn't necessary). I came out with a bill of $550 and my initial concern for my visit wasn't resolved.
In June the tire problem persisted and sounded worse. I tried to make appt 2 weekends in a row and was told they are extremely busy and backed up to the point where oil changes are taking 3 to 4 hours.
Fearing for my safety I went down the street to Mr Tire. Apparently all the tires were either defective or used! Less than a year later tires were cracking and passenger rear was rotted out and had a bubble! I saw with my own eyes the dangerous condition they were in. I had to purchase new tires so now I'm out another $700!
Went to service a few weeks ago with another electrical problem and again was told everything is fine. I have a feeling as soon as my 100k miles warranty expires they'll find the problem and I'll have to pay for it!
We were looking for a car for my 17yr old daughter which is so nerve racking but John Q made the entire experience so easy! He made sure she knew how everything worked and that her mirrors were just right before she drove away! Best salesman I ve ever dealt with by far!
I recently leased a 2018 Accord at DCH honda, sold to me by the incredible salesman Khalil. I can not express in words how happy I was with the service I received and how well my first vehicle purchase went. No pressure, purely on my own accord, pun intended. My niece bought a used car. Her first vehicle purchase she was so excited about. 2 weeks after purchase the transmission went out and she was stuck on rte1. When my sister went to the dealership they said it wasn't their problem. Once you drive off its yours. I think this is horrible customer service and I hope everyone will see this review and boycott this dealership. Taking money from a hard working college student whose already in dept from student loans. Is this America people?

Sales Rep, Veronica Galluccio, provided an excellent experience. She was professional, courtesous and also very accomodating. She came in on her day of when needed and replied to emails outside of her business hours. Her manager was also very good and willing to work with you. Upon getting my car serviced, I was approached by Bryan in the showroom. I took this opportunity to speak to him about the Civic Type-R (which has not yet beed released) and continued onto explain that i had no intention of purchasing a vehicle at this time. This is where Bryan separated himself from any other car dealer or dealership that i have ever dealt with - we spent well over a half hour talking about the car and my potential options moving forward (specifically regarding terminating my lease). Bryan is a true gentleman, who is patient, knowledgeable, informed, and understands that not every car buyer is as knowledgeable about the car as a dealer would be, so he makes the language easy to follow to ensure there is no confusion of any kind which I specifically appreciated. All-in-all I would recommend Bryan to any person buying a car because I am positive that with Mr. Gamble's assistance the car buying experience will be a pleasant, reassuring, and enjoyable one
From the second that I got there I was told to wait and other people who had arrived later than me or being attended to. Came in for service at 2:30 was my scheduled time didn't leave till 5 o'clock. I had to constantly look for updates and every time I came looking for an update I was told everything is working out great just taking a little bit longer. Finally I couldn't wait any longer and when I went back miraculously my car was ready and the guy said oh yeah I was going to get you. I felt like I was forgot about and a simple oil change turned into a four-hour ordeal

DCH Acedemy Honda is definitely the place to go for a new car. We have purchased 3 cars from here, and the service has always been great. This time around we were helped by Enrique Castaneta and he is by far the best sales consultant. He is very knowledgeable and patient when it comes to answering questions about the cars and pays close attention to your wants and best interest. He is definitely the person to see if your buying or leasing a Honda.

They sold me a new Honda and I went for service and they didn t put the oil plug back 100%. The car leaked oil all over my pavers, I talked three different service managers and run around after 1 year. Now it lawyers and courts coming. I was very nice to start but they screwed me over and over very bad decision, Run from this service department.
Recently I traded in my old honda accord and leased CRV from DCH, first we made a mistake and leased a honda civic; but when I got home, felt this car is too small and doesn't fit in my needs, so I called DCH/Chris(manager) a day after weekends, and he asked me come to DCH and stating will try to resolve issue for me, and we went to DCH in the night around 7:00pm, and John/manager helped us on finding an alternative, we ended up with leasing a CRV which fits in our needs. Otis Vidale walked us through entire process again in great patience, and he also helped us to unload stuff from Civic to CRV, I really appreciate for his great service !

Over the last few months of this summer my 2018 Honda Civic has had AC issues. Every few weeks I had to take it back. Car is only 2 years old and Sylvester has helped me every time to make sure the repairs were covered by Honda corporation. I m so grateful because the car is only 2 years old and should be free of problems. Sylvester is nice and courteous and gets the job done!
I went to buy a CRV and was dealing with Andre but he was not professional nor was he willing to explain things or show the car. On top of everything when I asked if the price was negotiable he said "these are my top sellers. I am not negotiating anything so you can try some other place if you want". I am not going back there nor would I recommend anyone to deal with Andre Yulfo. He was on his cell phone calling and texting people and was inattentive when I tried to learn about their finance options. This is not the right way to treat an individual who is coming to you to learn something and is going to pay thousands of dollars for a car at your dealership.
My son was interested in stock #H192365TA that he saw on the website and visited for a test drive. The vehicle had multiple warning lights on the dash (tps, etc.) During the test drive the hood latch malfunctioned. This vehicle was not ready to be test driven let alone sold. Very disappointed in DCH.

As far as the customer service and experience is concerned it was 5 stars for my first 3 leases. Paul Rittberg had always helped us in the past, called us on our birthdays, I don't mind paying a fair price or even a little more when I'm getting treated with respect. I don't like the hassle. I know I am likely paying more, but I also don't want to feel like the salesmen are doing touchdown celebrations the minute I drive out of the lot. We leased 3 Honda Odysseys and with each lease the price kept going up. After we got the 3rd lease Honda 3 weeks later we got a flyer in the mail with a great deal for the Van we just leased for a heck of a lot more. It left a bitter taste in my mouth. So The fourth time around I came in with a similar flyer that was sent to my house with a nice Honda Promotion. My wife and I have excellent credit, so that wasn't an issue. This time around we ended up meeting with another sales person. He said technology is getting better so the price is going to be a little more this lease. I said "what about this deal you sent me in the mail" . He then got his manager who came over and said those deals are without this and that it's never that price. Go figure. He then said "What can we do to get you out the door today with this car" after I already said I wasn't quite ready yet. I guess Honda isn't in the business of rewarding their loyal customers. I was being treated like this was my first lease. Needless to say, after 3 consecutive leases we moved on and tried out a Town and Country. At that dealership we are paying less per month for a top model than we were for a bare bones Honda Odyssey. I felt like I was getting a nice deal, the salesman was honest and helpful. And at the end of the day, when I left the lot, the salesman was still sitting in his seat sipping his coffee.
I came in from Brooklyn to buy my car here. I emailed a few times and decided to try DCH after having some bad experiences with my local dealership. Meaghan was my sales associate and I couldn t be happier. She was patient and not pushy. Answered all my questions and seemed to really care about making me happy, not just getting a commission. I am happy I made the trip out.
I came into the dealership right before close not even expecting to get any help. The moment I walked in Bart introduced himself immediately and showed me to his desk. Long story short, he did everything he could to get me in the car I wanted even though it was past closing. Him and the finance manager were nice people to work with.

This place sucks. They reel you in with affordable prices but then try to put you into more expensive cars. Salespeople appear to be idiots, yelling in front of customers and giving the impression of being high. Not worth going there.
Unorganized mess. Two times I went to this place and the car wasn't there. First time they had no idea where it was, the second time I was told by phone it was there and then it turns out it was sold. Dont go to this place e unless someone physically checks for the car.
I just replaced crankshaft seal for my Honda CR-V. I am Honda guy, this is the best dealer Honda I ever done .all the service from beginning through cashier so professional, good management.
Got odyssey Van 2018 with good price. But only to find out that detailing means soaked up floor mats and trunk area. took some days to get rid of fog being created by wet carpets.
1st snow and got my trunk soaked again. Called them to register and get service appointment. Cannot attend the appointment being lazy.
Got weather mats for all rows and only found more water on weekend while cleaning the trunk that its too soaked to be normal. Called them and got an appointment only to find out a parking lot bump in rear bumper will be blamed for cause of nonalignment of trunk door with latch. (Which open and closes normally and never had a wind noise).
Had to negotiate the loaner. In spite the first appointment included the loaner.
A flat tire was not patched and new was offered instead.
Driver door does not closes completely till a bit slammed.
3 Issues were reported and 2 were reported non -issues.
PS.Coffee machine dispense hot black water ONLY ALWAYS. been there thrice and was disappointed.
John Mitchell was quick and efficient and made me feel like I was in good hands. I had certain conditions with my lease and John did his best to meet them all. Very happy with my decision to return to DCH Honda. My overall experience has been outstanding with all the employees at this dealership.
My service advisor George is very nice, polite, likeable, patient, tolerant, dependable, and I am comfortable interacting with George every time I take my mother's Honda Fit to DCH Honda for servicing and routine checks. I admire George's professional traits and that he has repeatedly demonstrated professional readiness and that he creates a suitable customer-friendly environment for this repeat-customer. Ryan is the person to see at Academy Honda. He gave me a good deal. I could not say no. He treated me with respect too. The other dealers do not respect you. Not Ryan. He did a good job.
