My last 2 cars were bought from this dealer. I wouldn't say I had the smoothest experience both times, but it wasn't too bad either. This was my third time and I don't think I will ever be going back.
I got an Internet sales offer by email. I sent emails back and forth with Malory Vicks multiple times to make sure it was real before going in as I didn't want to waste my time on BS haggling. But when we (me and my family) went in, I was assigned a rookie sales guy who had no context of any of this nor the ability to understand an informed customer like me. In fact, he was telling me that the Internet deal was for a 2018 vehicle until I showed him the email on my phone showing it for the 2019 model. Then he was telling me that the offer was only on the Elite trim and not an EX-L which is what I was looking to buy. Come on! If you had a $7000 off deal on an Elite trim, you won't have any discounts on the Touring or lower trims??? in addition to all of this, I was offered $2000 below fair trade-in value for my car (that I had bought from them). Really??? I had also gotten a TrueCar offer through employee pricing from my employer which I showed him. But when they made the offer, it was way above any of these prices. So I told him the price I would buy it for. Of course the usual back and forth with "the manager" starts. He came back with an offer that was way over what I was asking, so I asked for my keys (he had keys to my trade-in car) to leave. The "manager" comes out this time with a bad attitude acting like he is doing me a favor saying he will agree to my price. I said I just want the keys as I was too upset to deal with this BS anymore. He was mad and just barked at the sales guy to give me the keys and I left.
Here is the funny thing. I drove over to AutoNation Honda in Lewisville, asked them for their Internet price which they readily did, and asked for a price that was lower than what I asked these guys for, and got exactly without any haggling or stupid back and forth with "the manager". They also gave me a fair trade-in price for my trade-in vehicle. Even the financing was so painless and I got a better APR than what these guys were offering. To be fair, Malory did call me after AutoNation and I had agreed to the price and after they had started the paperwork. Now she was offering me $1000 and then $2000 below what AutoNation offered me. Funny thing is, that still wouldn't have covered the disparity in the trade-in price :-). My recommendation - STAY AWAY from these guys, go to AutoNation Lewisville if you are buying a Honda because these guys don't really care about customers, even if they are repeat customers.
This is my 4th purchase/lease at Honda Frisco and we ve always had a pleasant experience. Knowledgeable and friendly sales people. The buying/leasing process is long, so plan to spend 3-4 hours here for the entire process. Not sure how this compares to other dealerships since I ve been using this dealership for so long. We also use the Service Department exclusively and have had good experiences. The wait can be long because they are so busy; take advantage of their shuttle or loaner service when possible. And, free popcorn!
Nate at McDavid Honda in Frisco did a great job helping my wife with her purchase. He let her take her time and helped with the process. It was one of the best car buying experiences we have had.
Since they first opened in Frisco the service has been consistently outstanding! I would know since I purchased or leased 8 different Hondas over the years from them. I consistently receive 5 star service at David McDavid Honda of Frisco. From the minute I drive up to drop off my car, to when I pay and retrieve my vehicle. All the service advisors are courteous and attentive but I have to say that Tim Tran is definitely my go to service advisor. He s professional and answers any questions I may have quickly & thoroughly. I m never disappointed with David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Thank you Tim for always making it a great experience!
The service advisor Tony was not able to solve rattling noise problem of my new Accord. Two times visits, zero results. Very frustrsted. His assistant and sales person addressed the problem though. Waste of time and money from this purchase.
Shaan was very helpful and was quick to answer any of my questions or go find out the answers to my questions. He made my first car buying experience very easy and helped me find the deal that I wanted. Jae was very thorough in explaining everything on the financial side of my car buying process and really helped me understand what I was getting into. I had a very good experience with both Honda Representatives.
It's totally a bad experience. I walked into the service center one day without an appointment and one of the staffs telling me it's like 118 cars, you will have to leave the car for the entire day and after our hesitation, he did mention get an appointment and it's 20 mins to get the software update. Yesterday I booked the first appointment for today.. when I came in at 7.30, I'm getting the same response, it's going to take the entire day. When I explained the situation to the member of staffs, he started responding rude stating we had holidays n we won't be able to get it done. It will take at least 4 hours. After all discussions he said 4 hours. First of all I don't understand when you have already lot of vehicles due for servicing, why do you have to open the appointment slots at 7.30, 8 etc... this shows how poor the management is. Secondly, they don't have a loaner's car and the reason I'm getting for that is, we just came from holidays and it's a holiday season. What does it mean? Then why do you even open in these days? So no loaner's car and I am going to wait till 11 from 7.30. How cool is that, sitting in their area n just sitting? He offered me a shuttle service to go home, then how would I come back to collect the car. Does he even talk sense? Thirdly, as part of customer service he didn't even bother to be polite and convince me for the things happening around... we have to learn from them on how bad and rude you can be to your customers. Totally my morning is ruined. Thanks for the great customer service!
Our advisor was Kristina and I appreciated the time she took to answer all my questions and her responsiveness when I checked on the status of my car repairs. Although this is an extremely busy dealership, they manage to keep everything flowing smoothly and have excellent shuttle service - if their standard minivan shuttle drivers aren t available, they ll send a Lyft driver on their account. Great service.
Sergio was great! He took the time and explained everything to me. I needed a loaner car and they were able to provide me with one. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! My car is driving so much better. I drove from Red Oak and It was worth the drive!

Quite deceiving and disrespectful to customer's time and efforts. After communicating the numbers specifically, was told we are in 'range' and if I could come in, the deal could happen. Drove 30 miles and the guy who I spoke with (William Stalik) notifies he won't be there to assist but other guy (Sam Saidian) will assist. New guy had no idea about what has been discussed and came across quite arrogant ! To top it all their best price was higher than MSRP and apparently their range is 12K higher than customer'' numbers ! Absolute waste of a time
EDIT/UPDATE - Left a VM to Adam Rutledge, he gave me a call to discuss what happened. He listened and acknowledged that it was a communication break down on their side. Adam discussed the offer and said if still in market, we would make it up given a chance. Wish I had worked with him from the start but maybe next time. Bumping up couple of stars !

Sales people are nice enough. It s when you hit financing is when it changes. They will not honor what the sales manager says, and they will make you buy FI products to get you a good rate, when you really don t have to. Otherwise they will offer you the highest rate possible with markup. Slimy snakes.
They were very pleasant when I bought a car from them two years ago. But recently I went back due to an issue and the representative, Mike Myers was very rude and unhelpful.
The Service Team here is out for a Buck. Their main goal is to take advantage of female customers that do not have advanced mechanical Knowledge. The staff is under trained by communicating things are covered under warranty you will not have to pay: just come on in and schedule an appointment. Once my fiancee arrives at the dealership they then tell her that none of this is under warranty and she is there with a dead battery. (No Place to Go) Oh by the way this Honda Dealership (David McDavid) replaced the battery 2 years ago (approximately 20K miles) because the battery died. To pile on to the issues, Jimmy her Service Manager told her that car needed a lot of items to be worked on since they were in such poor condition. (Over a $1,000 of service items that needed to be addressed). Note this Honda vehicle has been serviced by David McDavid for 3 years meaning all Oil Service and check ups. Now since warranty expires all of these items are in POOR condition she needed to get these fixed right away. To cap this miserable experience off, my fiancee was not even notified of the completion of service. She had to call the dealership to get an update and the receptionist said, Oh it is done a ready to go. Disappointing that Customer Service/Satisfaction was not evident in this experience.
Excellent service! They honor coupons/discounts from other Honda dealers. They usually can match pricing for service from other reputable places (or close to it).

I'm typically not one to write a review but our Sales Consultant - Brad Dechent did an absolute awesome job! We had previously leased a Honda Pilot w/David McDavid and our lease was coming due in ~10 months. Brad had contacted my wife and I about the possibility of trading in early and leasing the new upgraded Honda Pilot Touring model. Not only were we able to get the upgraded Touring model at the same payment we were currently at...it was the easiest, no hassle, seamless car transaction we have ever gone through...To top it off, Brad worked with me on surprising my wife with the Remote Start accessory...Brad went completely out of his way to make us extremely happy...thanks Brad!
I highly recommend David McDavid Honda to buy or service your car. I always service my Honda there, and they keep impressing me every time I go. They are very professional, they provide a perfect customer service in addition to being very nice and gentle. When I call, They pick up within few moments and they can set an appointment the same day. Once I called and it was very critical, they were able to set an appointment the next hour, gosh that was convenient and impressive. The staff are knowledgeable and they provide you with all the information you need. They have a very nice waiting area where you can enjoy coffee and water as a courtesy and you would never feel the time as they provide a home like environment. Keep the good work.
I bought my third vehicle from David McDavid yesterday. I live in Dallas much closer to another Honda dealership, but I would not have gone anywhere but David McDavid after the first experience I had there. When you go to David McDavid, you'll understand why they are rated the best dealership in the country. Yesterday, Davood was so awesome...no pressure whatsoever, and I got a great deal with the current incentives they have. There was also no pressure from the finance person to purchase any of the extra stuff when you go in the sign the gazillion forms. She actually threw in something for free that I was declining. The accessories person was great as well. She gave me a great deal on the two accessories I wanted.
I purchased a 2014 Pilot EXL. The sales team along with the finance team were very informative and willing to place me in the vehicle that I truly showed interest in. At other dealerships I experienced a desire to accommodate me with something less than I wanted due to the budget I set, but not at McDavid! I experienced an issue with the vehicle I purchased and the service team was just as helpful and accommodating as the sales team. My over all experience was great!

I just recently bought a used Honda FIT from your facilities. I am not a big supporter of buying from a dealership Most of my experiences were not great. My husband and I only intended originally to just look at it but when we got there and met David Yi and drove the car, we were hooked. Everything was great. The experience of being there, our sales person, David, was great and how we were treated was fantastic. Our car is perfect. Everything we were looking for. Plus, the finance lady that helped us, Li Shao, was exceedingly patient and incredibly helpful. Thank you for making it painless for us. Everything was perfect.
Tyler was great, called us in a timely manner and sent us details about all of the work we had to do on our car. He worked through the details and pricing, and helped us figure out a way to make the fixes that needed fixing. Great experience with him! However, the place is a disaster. It was so hard to find where the service entrance was with all the construction, and it was so crowded it took 8 or so minutes for anyone to even notice me. It was overwhelming and overcrowded.
Sidney is absolutely amazing! I was looking for a vehicle and had one day to get it. I was in touch with three different dealerships and Sidney was the only person who did not hound me the day I had to get a vehicle or the days leading up to it. Something told me to go see her before I went to the dealership where I knew for a fact I was going to get a vehicle and I am so glad it did. Although we only spoke briefly a few time, somehow Sidney picked the perfect car for me and had it waiting. It's like she knew me. She had the color perfect, down to the flakes in the paint! It's like she has known me forever! Never once in my life did I think I would own a Honda, not just a Honda but a sedan...I'm more of a Chevy SUV kind of girl, but I can honestly say that I am now a PROUD owner of a brand new Honda Insight. I do not think this purchase would have ever happened without Sidney and her friendly, attentive but not overwhelming personality and customer service. I thank you for everything!!
I had a great car experience form start to finish. This is the first time I purchased a car at this location. Salesman Shoaib, and finance person Jaye Kim were wonderful. Shoaib helped me program all my favorite radio stations and made sure I understood how to operate AirPlay. I never felt pressured and once I made up my mind everything went so smoothly. I highly recommend David McDavid Frisco!
McDavid is very convenient to my home in Frisco. Had a very good buying experience last year. I used the service dept for an oil change in June and was happily supprised at how quickly I was in and out.
I almost bought a car from here . At the financing, they offered the usual. When I refused to get any extra warranty or gap insurance the guy started to get disappointed to the point that he said "I know it's a Honda it's suppose to not have a problem, but tell that to those 70 thousand customers a year that come here to have their car fix". To those people in management in David McDavid Honda, you guys need to check on your people, because to me the way he sounded, he did not believe in you guys cars to last very long on the road. Also, that guy in your finance dept. is so arrogant! You know who u are. I will never recommend this place to anybody.
I arrived a few minutes early, but I was taken care of right away. Berkley Tyler was my Service Advisor and she could not have been nicer. She got all the info she needed from me and off I went to the waiting area. Made myself comfortable, started reading my book and before I knew it my Honda was ready to go. thank you Berkley

Good service, knowledgeable staff, don't try to up sell or distract you with non relevant options. They had various options, even went out of the way to get me the color I wanted with the interior option. This is my second lease with them. Will be continuing to work with them in future.

We had a great morning with Brenda Reyes, she patiently worked with us until we had a deal that met our needs. We had been here previously and she had given us a very thorough overview of all the features on the Honda HR-V so we made sure to ask for her upon our return. Ask for her.
Relatively quick and easy. Will, our sales guy, was great. Did have some issues in financing that took a while to resolve surrounding the price and financing options. He tried to have us sign for the car at a higher price than what we had agreed on due to a miscommunication. But it was eventually resolved and we are very happy with the car.
My vehicle was recalled and David McDavid Honda of Frisco took care of it! Very friendly staff and they got it done pretty quickly considering the amount of vehicles they had that day. Very pleased, thanks!

I am over it with David McDavid of Frisco! I purchased a car from them 12/31/2019! Understanding it is a 2012 Chevy Cruze yet came with an amazing warranty. The problem is I am utilizing the warranty way more than I am comfortable with. The car has been in the shop almost as much as it has been parked in my driveway! From transmission issues to more transmission issues to motor problems with the window...you name it! I just got the car back a couple of weeks ago and the oil light comes on. Ok! I understand they car may need oil but if I was told the the fluids in the car were checked and they were fine..how did that light come on so quickly. I bring it back to David McDavid Honda I am met with Dylan in the service department who obviously woke up on the wrong side of the bed. When inquiring as to why would the oil light be coming on when I just picked my car up from you a couple of weeks ago and you said the fluids were checked! His response was we checked the fluids but maybe the oil wasn t included. I asked...Is oil a fluid? He looks confused! I thought so! My next question was as a customer am I supposed to ask what fluids were checked specifically or when you say fluids, I am to assume all fluids. His response..it includes all fluids but maybe not the oil. Wow! He then says..if you don t like the car, that s not our problem. ..sir I kind of think it is your problem since you sold me the car. He then dismisses me with..so do you want the oil changed or not? Which warranted this long yelp review. I then had to pay $74.74 for an oil change at Valvoline because my oil was at 4% when checked. Also, many of the so called fluids they checked were low. There are way too many reputable dealerships to do business with instead of putting up with this craziness...I just hope and pray I can find one!
I think it is fair to say McDavid Honda of Frisco is all right. They do not need business and behave in that manner. I have been to this dealer twice in 10 days, but I was not fully satisfied with them... Therefore, I decided to take my business somewhere else.

My experience at Honda McDavid in Frisco was fantastic! They were able to work out a great deal for me with a 2019 Insight! On top of that Mike filled up my car for free when I came back the following week to check up. He checked out to see how everything was and how my new car was treating me!

I took my vehicle in for a simple oil change. I was greeted by CJ, who was very pleasant and professional. He told me my service would take about 45 minutes for which I was grateful after spending 5 hours recently waiting at another local dealership having an oil change performed on our other vehicle. Upon my inspection, a few minor issues came up on the car which CJ advised me of early . I got the few minor addictional issues handled on my vehicle and got out timely. CJ kept me informed through the process, was polite, professional, courteous, and I was not taken advantage of or pressured into service not needed on the vehicle. During my wait for the repairs, I witnessed how well he treated other customers, one who was very clingy, not to be disrespectful to her, but he treated her professionally and respectfully. I also witnessed another service advisor help with a very elderly man. I am in the business of customer service and rarely see what I teach my employees, we'll, during this visit I amazed. The dealership is great, the service was fantastic and reliable. I will be taking all of my vehicles back to David McDavid in Frisco and I will definitely refer business to them.
This was my second service appt with David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Kelvin is one of the best service advisers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He goes above and beyond to make sure the customer has a great experience. Thank you for having team members like Kelvin and thank you to the service repair techs (we dont' get to meet), but they do a great job in taking care of my car and several other family members!
The shifter release button on my 2017 Honda CR-V broke. The David McDavid Frisco service department replaced it under warranty very quickly -- I was in and out in 20 minutes. Service was very efficient and friendly.
Great customer service, I was able to pick up the car same day. Service Advisor and Shuttle driver were so polite. Waiting room is also clean. Very impressed and satisfied.
I appreciated the help from Honda on trying to work with me to get out of my vehicle into a new one. Although we weren t able to come to a deal I commend them on the professionalism and customer service throughout the process. I own three Hondas, and all of them are serviced at McDavid Frisco. The service is great, prices are fair and I have never had to wait a long time to get my vehicles in. It's a very busy service department, but still manages to provide great customer care. I appreciate the free shuttle service and the online scheduling. Recommended!
We started our New Car hunt with great enthusiasm. But as we shopped from dealer to dealer we got the real taste of it which was bitter !!! It came to a point that i even dropped the idea to buying a new car.
Then i went to David McDavid Frisco. And i felt the difference in how they deal with people right away. Everyone was very courteous and understanding.
We agreed mutually and i had my car in 2 days after my first visit. I am planning to my another car and i know where to go. Since then i even recommend David McDavid to all my frez too.
First-rate experience and service from A.J. Rodrigues on 2004 Honda Accord and from shuttle driver Scott to my home in Plano about 6 miles from dealership. We were kept informed of special service needed on our car, which has more than 100,000 miles on odometer. We could not have been more satisfied with the personal treatment from Mr. Rodrigues and the repairs that we feel will keep us safe on the road. it was a great experience with David Mcdavid. the customer rep who supported us was great in everything. I wish the manager gave David Mcdavid customer appreciation day 1000$ credit but she won't honour it.
It was fine, friendly but incredibly slow. I just wanted a quick finance deal, two days and 4 hours of waiting for paperwork is a lot longer than just going it on the internet.
As a first time used-car buyer i had horrible experience with mcdavid frisco. i am very disappointed with finance manager who processed my sale. during our discussion i have clearly said NO to GAP-Insurance. but he included in the sale without my knowledge . We never discussed anything about Resist-ALL package but he added it without my knowledge. i have no clue what this stands for. he asked me to sign many documents saying they are for loan process . he didn't explain me what each document stands for. on the day of sale he didn't reveal me the final number . i was told that EMI would be x amount for 60 months term but in actual its was for 72 months. he deliberately made sure that i am not aware of the complete sale details. when i came home and after three weeks i shocked to see actual sales details from honda finance. i personally went to the store and gave request to cancel gap insurance and resist all package on November but he didn't cancel them . Every time when i call he says the same same thing, "your request is put it will be done in 6 week". i was really frustrated with their response. but someone accepted request around march then they cancelled my gap insurance . but still "resist all" component is not reverted from my account. because of all these issues i was not able to refinance even though i got better interest rate from other banks. so i am ended up paying extra money for service the which didn't request and higher interest rate.
---------------------------------------------------- update 11/10/2020 : I never got a call from the dealer . i tried to reach ali benli several times on the number commented below but he is always unavailable.
Please do not spray water on the car and leave it to air dry when I picked it up after service it was filled with water spots all over I had to get it washed..and please make sure the staff covers the floor mats so no debris is left in your car.
Your staff is friendly and the service was done very quickly. Please make a note of things I feel need improvement I guess u don't have those drive thru car where it washes and dries the car maybe u will consider it with your renovations your dealer ship is very busy but that's a good thing for you all.
Excellent valet program that come to your place, my work place in this case, and return a few hours after the service completed. Both driver and repair mgr are courteous.
Didn't buy anything here but ran out of gas on my motorcycle on a busy Saturday. Chad from sales took time to walk me to service and get a gallon of gas for me. I offered to pay but he said, just come see us if you need a car or service. Great customer service and I wasn't even a customer. Thanks!
