I am over it with David McDavid of Frisco! I purchased a car from them 12/31/2019! Understanding it is a 2012 Chevy Cruze yet came with an amazing warranty. The problem is I am utilizing the warranty way more than I am comfortable with. The car has been in the shop almost as much as it has been parked in my driveway! From transmission issues to more transmission issues to motor problems with the window...you name it! I just got the car back a couple of weeks ago and the oil light comes on. Ok! I understand they car may need oil but if I was told the the fluids in the car were checked and they were fine..how did that light come on so quickly. I bring it back to David McDavid Honda I am met with Dylan in the service department who obviously woke up on the wrong side of the bed. When inquiring as to why would the oil light be coming on when I just picked my car up from you a couple of weeks ago and you said the fluids were checked! His response was we checked the fluids but maybe the oil wasn t included.
I asked...Is oil a fluid? He looks confused! I thought so! My next question was as a customer am I supposed to ask what fluids were checked specifically or when you say fluids, I am to assume all fluids. His response..it includes all fluids but maybe not the oil. Wow! He then says..if you don t like the car, that s not our problem. ..sir I kind of think it is your problem since you sold me the car. He then dismisses me with..so do you want the oil changed or not? Which warranted this long yelp review. I then had to pay $74.74 for an oil change at Valvoline because my oil was at 4% when checked. Also, many of the so called fluids they checked were low. There are way too many reputable dealerships to do business with instead of putting up with this craziness...I just hope and pray I can find one!
