They called me couple of times saying they will beat the competitor price by up to $500. But they were not able to come close to the price also. It's waste of time interacting with the internet sales team and directors etc., I won't recommend them for family and friends.

Car washes aren't acceptable
The time it takes is good but it seems like the blowers at the end don't work because they give you the car with lots of water. So when water dries it leaves spots on your car. And they don't wash the back of your car. I know the car washes are free when you buy a car there. But if they aren't going to provide an acceptable service perhaps they should throw something else when you buy a car.

For almost 20 years I've received outstanding service from my rep, Kelvin. He really listens to and fully addresses my concerns. He explains the diagnostic findings so I understand each recommended service item. When money is tight, Kelvin will prioritize the work. When I ask, "Can we do this later?", he has the knowledge (and patience) to share the pros and cons of addressing now, next month, next year, or not at all.

Thanks to Kelvin my 2000 Accord has never left me stranded. I recently asked him how much longer he thought my 2000 model would last. He looked a little surprised and said, "You can drive this car for the rest of your life if you want to!" And maybe I will, but only if I avoid using a loaner, which is offered occasionally. I do love my car but all the bells and whistles on the newer models are so impressive!

This is my 3rd Honda. I got my first in 1984. Impressed by my experience, my parents bought a Honda after a lifetime of driving Cadillacs.

Much of Honda's reputation for dependability can be attributed to their outstanding customer service provided by caring reps like Kelvin.

As I looked around the crazy busy service department yesterday I saw productive workers and contented customers. Sure, it was hectic, but it was not frantic. There were no frowns or scowls. In retrospect, I've never witnessed anger or frustration displayed here. I've seen plenty of concern but zero unpleasantness. These folks are hustling and working together to create the best outcome. Customers can see it and appreciate the effort. Hmm. Doing the right thing can make you successful. Pass it on!

Really happy with my experience here. I worked with Serghei Medushevski, who was incredibly straightforward and transparent about my different available options and what each would involve. I never felt like I was being "sold" a car -- more like having a conversation with an expert who wanted to find the best fit for my needs as much as I did. I have been having my 2004 Honda Pilot serviced here for the past 10 years 10 months. This time I brought it in for a normal Oil change and to also look into a very strange sound coming from my suspension system in the front drivers side. The mechanic Rip, was able to locate and pinpoint the issue.

I had other problems as well that he was able to discover along the way, including a previous repair from another repair facility that had stripped the bolts out of my rack. They spent a lot of extra time working on my vehicle to make my repairs right.

Matt Kail wanted to make sure my car was fixed correctly without making this be a repair after repair to fix the issue, because of all the issues they found that they originally thought was causing the problem, they took care of some of the cost.

Matt saved me a tremendous amount of money compared to what the repairs should have cost. I greatly appreciate the extra effort and awesome customer service that both Matt and Rip gave to me.

If you decide to check this dealership, ask for Zia Zaidi! he helped me with my first car and when it was time for a second car, I contacted him directly. He is knowledgeable, polite and will work with you to make sure you will get the car you want.

I had special circumstances with this purchase and everyone worked with me to make sure that the purchase works with my timeline.

Time Langston was my service adviser for my 2008 CRV. I went in for my annual inspection, and while I knew there'd be other issues with the car, which he investigated at my request, he did not push getting it all fixed. In fact, he listened the first time to when I said I want whatever needs to be done to pass inspection. After that, he made sure I was thoroughly informed of any other options with the other problems/issues. He is knowledgeable and kind, which in this world, is not always present or apparent. I worked with Gina Neely on buying a 2011 Odyssey. Got a very fair deal for a great van. Less than KBB. Gina was extremely helpful. I drove past two other Honda dealerships to look at this van and I m glad I did. When I got there it was waiting for me to test drive. I forgot to pick up the second key so they FedEx ed it to me next day. Everything has been minimal hassle. I hate shopping for cars, and this was probably the most pleasant experience I ve ever had. A+ customer service. I ll buy from them again.

There was a bit of confusion (from the service tech) with my quote and he not only made sure the confusion was cleared up, he made me feel comfortable that it was fair and accurate. As a woman, this can be a concern. I will definitely go back for future repairs. The work was done quickly and well. i am very pleased.

The service was fine and they finished on time. They did what was asked - an oil and filter change - for a good price. The only thing that frustrates me is that they suggested an additional $400 worth of services, indicating that they were Overdue and needed immediate attention. Which was not true according to the manufacturer - Honda. For example, they wanted to change the transmission fluid - indicating that it needs to be done at 30,000 miles...but according to the service guide published by Honda, it is 60,000 to 70,000 miles under normal use. In fact, when I checked the color of the fluid, it was not anywhere near over due . They recommended other services as well.

I know that the dealership needs to make money, but this practice is somewhat deceptive and is ultimately wasteful. I really wish they would be more straightforward with the recommendations and not assume everyone drives their vehicle in extreme conditions.

Purchased a vehicle last year, was forced into purchasing the extended warranty with it even tho I did not want to. I was actually very adamant about not purchasing it. Was told I could either pay 18% interest without a warranty or 11% with a warranty. Was told warranty would cover anything on the list that needed to be replaced and if the warranty company wouldnt do it then it would be taken care of by him personally. Meaning he would have it handled and taken care of through the dealership. Of course the first thing we try and make a claim with the "platinum car care coverage" it was denied and they dont cover that kind of repair. The Gentlemen I am speaking of was of Asian decent and worked the finance department on the used Honda side. Very misleading and untrustworthy. Wanted to do everything he could to get me to sign on the "waste of money warranty". Just wanted others to know how he works and how he will push you into something you dont want.

All I can say is WOW. I was in a bad situation from having my recent only vehicle totaled. Insurance did not cover all owed, so I was in a hole there. I explained my problem to Gina and she went right to work trying to put me into a favorable deal right away. Where others may lie to you, she was honest, sincere, and downright empathetic and while I was ready to settle for high Apr. and a pre-owned vehicle, she said NO WAY, let's put you in a Brand New vehicle, with full warranties for peace of mind. With the minimal down payment and average credit she had me finalizing paperwork and stepping into my new CR-V in a matter of hours. No way I thought that would flow so smoothly but she made it happen. Thanks Gina , and kudos to Moe who was my alternate contact. They really do care and aren't just in it for the money, but for YOU. Repeat customer all the way. Thanks guys.

We did some used car shopping here and had a good experience, even though we didn t buy from this dealership. Later on we had problems with a tire pressure sensor installed by a tire shop. This dealership said a minimum of $140 to diagnose the problem and 2-4 hours. We took it back to Discount Tire and they fixed it in 10 minutes, free.

When booking appointments online, the checkbox for requesting a call back, and the input for comments are ignored. There is no human reviewing the web input for booking appointments. I needed a special part to replace the tension rod in my trunk, I input a request to check inventory and call me back. That did not occur. A a result I had to make 2 trips on 2 seperate weekends to make the repair.

On the positive side, they did a good job with the repair once we got past the communication issues.

He mentioned that he has come to get keys and they have no clue who s responsible for that job even. He kept running here and there for 40 minutes and finally got to know that the lady who called us has left for the day. With nothing much to do, we walked out after an hour. While we are driving back to home we got a call from that lady asking when will we be coming there to collect the keys. So much of time wasted

My experience with the Frisco Honda service center was EXCELLENT before I even arrived. I leased my Honda from this dealership in 2017. Last Wednesday, my car needed to be jumped twice earlier in the day and when I reached out to my local Honda dealership (in Denton, TX) and explained that as a single parent with only one car I really needed to have the issue addressed quickly, they told me they were too busy to even check my battery and that the next time they could check it for me would be two days later. I called the McDavid Honda dealership in Frisco and told them about my concerns, and they told me to come over right then and they would take it from there. It was 4:30pm and they made time for me before they closed. I drove straight over, they changed out my battery that was under warranty, and even let me get my oil changed while I was there without hesitation. The service team at this dealership is OUTSTANDING and they definitely lived up to their claims of being #1 in Texas. You guys ROCK!

I came in for a state inspection which should have taken a little over an hour. Upon inspection, they found a few things that needed immediate attention, and I agreed to having them done. However, my advisor, who was aware I had chosen to wait rather than go home, didn t tell me these would take much longer. About 2.5 hours in, I asked how much longer and was told not too long. Well, another 1.5 hours later and still nothing. I checked again and was told it would be another 30 minutes. I m not sure why I was told it won t be much longer the first time then, or more importantly why not when I accepted the additional items? I completely wasted my day. After all that, when the car was finally ready, I got a text saying so. But nothing about where the advisor was ( to checkout). So I just wander around trying to find him? (I texted too but got no response). This place is super busy, but this wasn t such a busy day given covid. But they always almost manage to waste my time and frustrate me.

We own three Hondas ('12 Odyssey, '14 Civic, '18 Hybrid Accord). Scheduled an appointment for an express oil change on the Odyssey last week on 12/21. Waited 90 minutes to get my vehicle--90 minutes! Never again. My local Kwik Kar gets our business from now on. I will say, however, my service advisor was easy to work with and very apologetic, but 90 minutes is ridiculous, especially with an express appointment.

As a second time Civic buyer from David Mcdavid Honda of Frisco, I wanted to share my purchasing experience with anyone who might be interested. I visited the dealership in early 2013 knowing exactly which vehicle I wanted as far as model, year and style, which doesn t always work well with some Dealer Reps. However, I was fortunate enough to initially hook up with Sam Sokhan Sanj, a young, innovative and savvy new car dealer with David McDavid. What I was interested in was the newly re-designed 2013 Honda Civic. I told Sam what I wanted, how much I was willing to pay, and the things I did, and DIDN T want in the way of post manufacture add-ons. I wasn t exactly in the market to purchase immediately, but I did want to inspect and test drive the new 2013 Civic for myself. Sam quickly had me on the road, showing and explaining to me everything that was new or changed about the 2013 models. Over the next several weeks, Sam patiently waited for me to be ready to purchase, calling to check in with me several times. Sam was never pushy. He intently listened to everything I told him, and filed it away for future reference. He was always extremely friendly, positive, and helpful with the numerous questions I bombarded him with. Ultimately, I bought the Civic I wanted from Sam. He had one ready for me when I arrived. He haggled with his managers until they gave me the price I had originally quoted to Sam. He even got me some add-on options thrown in for free. Sam arranged to personally give me a ride so I could get my original vehicle home, since I now owned two Civics. Sam got me a discount through the parts department for additional accessories that I wanted. Sam helped me resolve technical issues with the USB audio system, that several other professionals couldn t figure out. I have never had a performance problem with any of the David McDavid staff from any department. They all seem to have an attitude and desire to please their customers. I bought a Honda because of their reputation of excellence, affordability and dependability. However, I bought from David McDavid Honda of Frisco because of Sam s rare ability to first actively listen to me, and then deliver exactly what I wanted. Their popcorn isn t half bad either, but that didn t really influence my purchase any.

I've come to this location multiple times the past two years and have never been disappointed. When I arrive, they pull up my information and review the services due for my visit. I know how much I will be paying for my services in advance, unless they detect additional service requirements. When that happens, they walk up to you and discuss the recommendations. If you're not in the facility, they will send you a text with a link that describes the additional services required. They have a very clean waiting area with plenty of space to sit 6ft apart. The service advisors are extremely polite and patiently answer every question you might have. Overall, I highly recommend this place! Thanks for your great service!

I ve been to their service twice and both times the wait time was ridiculous. On the second time I had an appointment scheduled and still waited for too long. The most disappointing experience was not just the wait time but their outrageous prices after having the brakes and inspection done. I asked for my car back instead and they made it even harder when they wrote on the inspection form that my car was undriveable. My car is in great condition and had no check engine light on either beforehand. I left and took my car to brakes plus and was told it only needed to bleed brakes and cost me a small token. I will stop coming here going forward. Shuttle service had to be the only good thing for me there since driver was pleasant to talk to.

I had a wonderful experience with David McDavid when I bought my Accord Sport. I tried to purchase a car at another dealership and left there feeling disappointed. They were trying to pressure me into purchasing a car with a high payment each month so I looked into leasing a vehicle at another location. They promised me that I was going to get the car that I fell in love with but I left there feeling heartbroken. Oddly enough the leasing company told me about David McDavid in Frisco. I live in the Red Oak area so travelling to Frisco was quite a distance for me. My salesman John Hicks helped me out A LOT trying to reassure me that they would be able to help me. I will admit that I did give him a hard time because I was told previously by the dealership and the leasing company that I would be able to buy a car and I left empty handed. When he offered to let me test drive the car I refused to do it because I did not want to get my hopes up and leave empty handed again. I also want to thank the finance manager KJ because he made my experience a GREAT one. He listened to both me and my aunt concerns and he didn t pressure me into purchasing a car with a HIGH car note payment. I looked at 3 cars and chose the Honda Accord Sport (he predicted that I would choose this car even though I denied it lol). I love my new car but my only regret is that I didn t go to David McDavid in Frisco FIRST. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my family and friends. I had a great experience here. The Service Manager (Buddy Mays) is fantastic. He was able to break down for me what exactly I needed replaced at my most recent visit and what could wait, and why.
