Used car department struggles - I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere. Multiple sales agents contact you with a simple inquiry, they don't communicate with each other. They seem friendly but their car pricing is not competitive. Their website lists the KBB values yet they insist that their prices are market value despite the fact that they are typically priced over the KBB estimates. Rosario seems friendly but didn't give me impression he was interested in making a deal for fair market value on a car. Again, you might have a good experience here but if your experience is like mine, save your money and go somewhere else.
This was the greatest car buying experience. My salesman, Carl Scott, spent hours with me on a Saturday trying to help me find the perfect car for me. The first one I picked out was a little out of my price range but I was going to go ahead and buy it. During the credit application process I started getting sick to my stomach because I knew deep down that this was a bad idea. Not only was Carl concerned about me getting sick, he flat out told me that if this didn't feel right, don't purchase it. WOW, a salesman who told me to NOT purchase the car if it didn't feel right. Now that's top notch service. So we went back out to the lot and I ended up finding a car in my price range that I really liked. And I ended up purchasing that car. Carl was amazing throughout the whole process. Not once was he ever pushy. We looked at and test drove a few different cars over the course of almost 6 hours. He took the time to find out exactly what I needed and could afford, and then we made it happen. I can't recommend Carl enough for his professionalism and lack of pushiness. He made me feel comfortable the entire time I was there. Spending large amounts of money is hard for me and it always makes me nauseous. Carl was super understanding and took the time to meet my needs. This turned out to be a great car buying experience and I would highly recommend Carl and David McDavid Honda of Frisco if you are in the market. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Great experience all the way around.

worst dealership I have ever had to deal with. Lazy and doesn't wanna do anything. Will have to get my third set of temp tags because they can't seem to get their act together and get my license plates for me I purchased my car with cash and still haven't gotten my title either which is odd the vehicle is still in the dealerships name and it has been 3 months.... so no tag and no title... I bought my last vehicle from craigslist and it was a better experience than this dealership has been.

Though I am satisfied with the service but not happy with the process of taking appointment. Even after fixing appointment I had waited for almost 2.5 hours . Appointment fixing could be taken care more efficiently to avoid long waiting period.

From buying the car in the first place, all the way down to the most minor part replacement, it just feels like they completely have your back. I wouldn't be surprised if I find myself making Thanksgiving dinner this year and turn around to see Eric from the service department chopping vegetables for me.
I had worked for a day and a half on a used car purchase over the phone and via text with a sales representative. We had been working on an agreement and even had paperwork started. There was a difference of $249.00 that was being discussed and I was told to wait a few minutes that turned into an hour and then a couple of hours to get manager approval. During that time, they decided to sell the car out from under me during our negotiations. I had taken off work for the day to drive the 10 hour round trip from my home, thoroughly cleaned my trade in, collected the necessary cash, and sent my dog to a boarder on the apparently incorrect assumption that they were a reputable dealer that would not start a deal, while holding out to see if they could make a few more dollars on the sale. The sales representative told me we had lost out because they were very busy and he was working on his day off. Then the sales manager called and said they were very busy and had to take care of walk-in customers that morning instead of taking care of my business that had been initiated the day before. I was told that they had to do what was best for the business. I understand that this review will in no way affect a huge dealership like this, but in some small way I hope it helps anyone that expects anything other than the stereotypical ''used car salesman' experience. You will most likely just be another number. Shame on me I guess for hoping for better.

First time user of pickup and delivery of my car for service and vehicle inspection. I had an appointment of 8:30 and was told that there was a 3 hour window of when they could pick up the car. They were off by an hour but they did pick it up, performed the services and sent me an email and a text to pay as well as a pdf of the services performed. They disinfected inside and washed the outside as well. I was pleased with the service. Due to Covid-19 this is a welcome and safe way to get needed service done with minimal contact.
Our 2016 Honda CRV -AWD Touring car was brought in for its first service and full detail option on November 9, 2016. My online appointment information was ready to go with CJ (advisor). CJ was awesome throughout and handled my questions with detailed answers. When CJ was not around, other advisors were quick to ask if I needed help. McDavid Honda of Frisco asked if I needed a ride home as well. When I picked the car up, it was ready to go. The work was done on time and the car looked great after having a Full Detail done. I bought Honda Accord like 3 months ago from this dealership. In the beginning I trusted their claim but in reality I was ended up paying $1000 extra what my friend paid for the same car in fort worth right before a week. The financial manager lured me to buy their honda care for another $22 extra every month for telling bumper to bumper coverage. So my total extra pay was about 10% from this dealership. Last month, they charged me 180 telling me I have to change tyre at 1200 miles after I bought car. And, my friend has 30,000 guarantee for my tyre without any extra plans. Now, I am regretting for believing this wolve's words. I am writing with woes in my heart and wished I never had been to this dealership.
After 5 years servicing my vehicle with them. Bought 2 cars from them. This place modified to be a state of the art car dealership with very very poor customer service and reps hungry to make commission of you in this tough times. Extremely disappointed with the way they treated me the last two times. I will never give my business to them or will ever reccomend them. No consideration for repeat customer with a track history of servicing the vehicle with only them. Plus flat out denying of a previous quote by another rep. They do not deserve a single star. You get better customer service at a kwik kar. Take your service some where else and do not believe anything they quote you. Extremely disappointed.

David McDavid honda sold me a "certified" used car and provided a carfax report which had no accidents reported. A later carfax report reported frame damage. They sold the car before the accident was reported to carfax. The dealership refuses to respond to my requests to rectify their illegal actions so now I am stuck with a car that other dealerships will not accept as a trade in.
I had a flat tire and needed a new tire. Tony got me in the next day and set me up with new tires for my car. Fast, easy and always affordable. Thanks Tony.

I recently had my car serviced at David McDavid of Friso. I arrived at 7:30 for my 7:45 appointment I was greeted promptly as I arrived. Chris my service advisor gave me a time he expected to be finished at 8:50. I had the oil changed, transmission serviced and tires rotated. Had a discount on the transmission service. At 8:30 Chris completed the work and gave me a 10% discount over what I expected. Three months earlier Chris gave me a great price on a set of Mitchlin tires. I couldn't beat it else where. Chris and team are number one.
They are best tricking people. Please be careful at the finance department and read every word million times.

I have now leased 4 cars from David McDavid. The first two times I went to multiple dealerships to shop the best offer but ended up coming back to David McDavid. These past two times I have gotten to work with Victor and he truly goes the extra distance to make sure you get in the car you want for as best price as possible. It is nice to work with a sales person who you feel like is on your team when you are buying a car. He is the reason I will drive past four Honda dealerships on my way to David McDavid to buy a car.
TLDR: ask for Victor when buying a new car and it will be a positive experience

I recently took my honda to this place to get the a/c serviced. Flushed and refilled with new r-134 . They called me back a few hours later with a list of things wrong with my car. Claimed they did a complete diagnostic on my a/c and that my compressor was out and needed a new one to the tune of $1200.00.
And recommended another $1300.00 of other repairs. I quickly refused, and returned to pick up my car.
When I arrived, I was hit with $125.00 for this so-called complete diagnostic Since I wasnt going to get my car back without paying it, I paid the guy, and drove away. I took it to another guy the next day, who quickly assessed it was only a $15.00 switch, replaced the refrigerant, and now my a/c is blowing ice cubes. Complete diagnostic my foot! The new place charged me $125.00 for the actual service. Later that night I got an email from carfax stating new service had been done, including the fake diagnostic from David McDavid Frisco, so I looked at my previous service report detail from Carfax on my car that shows all service ever performed on that car. I looked back to last year when David McDavid of Frisco charged me $1000.00 dollars to replace both front drive shaft axles. The report showed that they had only replaced the right side but charged me for both. In fact they told me that both sides were leaking, boots were torn, and both needed to be replaced immediately! Yet they only replaced the right one. Pattern do start to form. Bottom line, this place lies in order to get your money. Liars and thieves have no place in my world, turns out, some people are a little of both. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I bought 2017 RAV4 Hybrid. Sales person Ahmed was good and helpful however Finance people were as worst. I had to wait more than 3hrs just to get any financial person attend me. Ali Raja has very rude & in-professional behavior. He ran my credit hard inquiry without my permission and never response to my e-mails. Finally got right finance person David who helped me to done all paper work but I can't recommend this dealership to any friends or family.
I wish they were more open with their communication. Miscommunication within the sales team.

Worst service department ever. Made an appointment for Saturday morning at 8am. When I arrived I told them that I had an appointment and the service guy said look at all the cars around you I'm not sure how long it will take to get to your car. Isnt that what an appointment is for ? A time that you are going to look at my vehicle. Your a number here not a person with a name. I'll never come back here. I live in Prosper and I'll drive past your dealership and go all the way down to John Eagle Honda where their customer service is outstanding !!!!

Bought a car here a couple years back and the great service continues. My service Advisor is Timmy. He always takes good care of me. I like that I don't have to feel pressured when I come for an oil change and then they find something else that is needed. Timmy keeps me informed, lets me know what is needed and tells me to give him a call when I am ready. Which is why I pass up 2 other Honda dealerships to keep gong back to this one because of the great customer service. Thanks!

People are rude here! I purchased my car here and of course they are super nice when you are purchasing. I called today to schedule a service for my car and for them to check if it will be covered under warranty and they transferred me four times. The third person had no idea why I was transferred to him and asked AGAIN what I needed after I already told 3 people my car and my name and pulled up my information. Then the last person just got frustrated and completely hung up on me.im never taking my business over there and I recommend you to stay away from this dealership.

Worst service experience, I had in Honda dealership. This service center is complete rip off and dont care about customers and even not ready to agree their own inspection report.
Last month, I did my Odyssey service in this service shop and as per inspection report by battery was shown as green which means excellant health.
Within 1 hour after picking vehicle, battery was completely dead and when I asked about it, they said they did nothing and it can go any time. As per they it may die any time, if that was the case how inspection report was showing green just when I picked up vehicle. Also supervisor manager was it may go down on very cold day, but temperatures on ser ice day was in 70s.
One top that I have agreed to replace battery and wheel alignment with them, thinking it might have happened something..I went to shop after taking appointment for alignment and battery replacement. Service manager tried to explain saying that all his workers are busy they need another hour to do alignment and started asking why dont you change battery. I agreed for that and asked for estimation for battery replacement. Service manager came up with estimate of $95 for interstate battery( which $85 in Costco), which I asked is it final estimate including labor, he assured it is best estimate as he applied some coupon, which God only knows.
After service manager' assurance, I have agreed for battery replacement , they told me to wait for 20 min and also told he is checking alignment in - parallel.
After 20 min, service manager called me and told he replaced battery and gave me final invoice for $140. I was just shocked after seeing battery replacement charge suddenly increasing to $140 from $95. I asked him why it is so high and he told it includes labor and discount. I started asking what happened to earlier showed and assured estimate of $95, which he started shaking and saying did he told the same. I told yes, you shown final estimate before taking approval for battery replacement in front of me and my friend.
He started saying he can not obey that price and also not even ready apologize for his msistake, instead started saying he will remove battery if we dont like. It is just like waiting almost 1 hour in this whole process and now they want to remove new battery as he is not ready for committing earlier promissed estimate of $95.
I finally asked them to remove battery and left showroom by jumpstarting vehicle. It is not about money of $30-40 extra, it is about obeying process and promised estimate and also should be ready to.mistake.
I suggest dont ever go this service center.
Finally I ended up replacing battery from costco which costs me $104 including installation.
I came in for boday repair on 06/18/17. I spoke with Albert and he promised a quote in 1.5 hr. After keep me waited for almost 2 hrs, he said I am off for the day i cant help you and my Advisor "Sam" will help.
I got the repair done on 06/22/17 for front bumper and other protection. With in 48 hrs all the parts are loose and i can clearing feel and the moving parts from bottom of the front bumper.
Crapy work done with taking full charge. I have called in again on 06/24 Saturday and they do work on Saturdays and did not get call back yet
