I went to Honda looking for a good car to take home. I was just walking when I was approached by a salesman. His name was Carl. He was nice and a gentleman. He approached me with a lot of different options and very patient. He gave me a great deal on a 2018 Honda Civic. I would recommend anyone to go to him and buy a car
My salesman Jay Eiss made my car buying process so seamless! I'd been looking for a car for months and dealing with all kinds of salesman, but when dealing with Jay he really made me feel comfortable and not pressured at all. I recently had a great experience buying a car from David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Oftentimes, car dealers put pressure on you but I never felt that way with their crew. Chase was the salesman I dealt with for the most part and he did a great job explaining every questions I had. I would recommend this establishment if you are considering purchasing a car.
My service advisor, Eric Delgado, gave me a big help for repairing my car with his experience. After the inspection, there were so many things that needed to be fixed. Due to my financial issues, Eric gave me good advice for what kind of repair my car needed immediate. That trust is why I love David McDavid Honda Of Frisco dealership so much. They are great especially Matt Kiel. Matt got a promotion now its. Justin who gave me grest servive.I know that I can trust him he will only fix what is broken. Nordstrom class customer service. I used to drive to Rusty Wallace in Garland to get this kind of service now I can stay in my own back yard. They even took me to get my Hair and Nails done while I waited - Mercedes doesn't even do that. Matt will usually trouble shoot was is wrong with my car over the phone and then we decide if I need to come in. I have never seen service like this ever! I will always buy Honda's from David McDavid - Frisco.....Dylan is also very good..
I have purchased two used vehicles from David McDavid Honda of Frisco in the past couple of years. I have trusted them with the maintenance of my vehicles. They seem to be honest and efficient in their dealings with me. Also, the majority of the time, if I make an appointment, I can usually get a loaner car for the day. I recommend them.
The line - Nice and excruciating. Everyone was beyond pleasant, but it still ended up being a 5 hour marathon. All the usual gambits: Work everything not to let you leave the premises to shop around Repeatedly pitching cars beyond the parameters you clearly spelled out. Coming up with a viable candidate vehicle only at the moment its clear you are bailing. Trying to put your trade-in into the mix before you settle on a price. Try to get you to give them a monthly payment you'll settle for rather than straight price negotiation. Now in my 50s I've done this drill enough to ride it through, but it never gets old at getting really old. When it was done I had a nice car at a price I felt was not a rip-off, but there was no triumph in it because the same outcome could have happened in half the time if everyone stopped the gamesmanship. Did I say that everyone was really, really pleasant?
Best Honda service i have got in recent times. I used to go to Honda of Mckinney or Lute Riley Honda in Richardson before and just gave Frisco a try. They checked all the fluids and also indicated that there was a safety recall that was fixed quickly. Also i wanted a battery replaced but they checked and said it was just a loose contact and fixed old battery saving me money.
I had a great experience purchasing my new Honda CRV EX Hybrid with the David McDavid Honda Frisco. We had a lovely experience with our sales rep Allan, Hafeez and finance rep Brian. They all were extremely friendly and helpful from start to finish! They all took great care of us and never pressured us to make a decision. We went to several dealerships around town while shopping and the customer service at David McDavid Frisco was unmatched! I recommend Honda Mcdavid Frisco to everyone.
We had an outstanding experience at David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Our experience started with our fabulous sales person Serghei he was very knowledgeable as to all aspects for the 2019 Honda Civic Hatch. He was very patient and there was absolutely no high pressure sales tactics used. We then moved to the negotiation process which was not a process at all. We expressed what we were looking for in the way of price and within 5 minutes we had come to an agreement. We then moved on to the financing. Once again very efficient and streamlined process. We finally were handed the keys to my daughters new car. Serghei went one step further (understanding how important customer service is) and had a red bow put on the car for pictures. The next time I m in the market for a car I will definitely visit this dealership again.
I came in for an oil changed while I waited. The service was done on schedule as promised. I even had an issue with the tire pressure sensors that they reset for me. The associate that checked me out even took his time to show me how to reset in the future in case I had the problem again. I was very happy with their customer service
Made 3 trips for same problem with sliding door. The service manager refused to fix it because it did not happen while they tested it (my and my wife's word was not enough) car came out with the navigation not functioning. Finally they agreed to fix the door under warranty and only after my wife got stuck with a malfunctioning door at a water park and I need to make an additional trip to fix the navigation that was not fixed. New car with 6000 miles and i am wondering how much additional work/family time I need to lose over it. The young man at the service desk tried his best to help (thus 2 stars) but I guess he is not making the rules. If I had to describe it in one word, Shame!
Best customer service you can get ! I bought my first vehicle here and my sales person was Fahad Arif.He was awesome , the dude gave me the best customer service I have ever received!! He show me all the numbers right and was very knowledgeable on everything from the car features all the way to the financing. Very professional salesmen, and he always has a smile on his face. Honestly the best car dealership experience I've ever dealt with. Terrance was our guy and he is amazing. He goes above and beyond in customer service and satisfaction. He was very patient with our family. And he knows every detail of the vehicle you are interested in and explains every gadget, every button, every spec of the car in detail. I was truly blown away. We never felt pressured into buying a car. Such a great experience!
Worst new car sales experience. They dont care about repeat customers, dont even had the courtesy to look up, if you are not buying today, "GET OUT". Visited the other dealer at McKinney, and its like going into Mercedes dealer, no pressure and so friendly.
This is the first time we purchased a Honda and I couldn t have asked for a better experience. Bailey and Nichole are the absolute best. I bought a new 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid at David McDavid Frisco location. My assigned sales guy was Chase Tolleson. He is one of the best sales guy I have met. He helped me in the process from test drving of the vehicle till the closure of the deal. He is technically very qualified and he explained me in detail all the pros and cons of different cars. I had a very fantastic experience with him. I was never intimidated in the process as I had bitter experience with other dealer sales guys.
I strongly recommend people to ask for Chase Tolleson and make him as your sales guy. I will bet you you will never be disappointed.

Recently I went to David McDavid Honda Dealership in Frisco and bought a new Honda Fit. My sales person was Jesse Garrett. My experience there was wonderful compared to the dealership in McKinney. Jesse was very courteous and polite and very professional. He got me the best deal for my budget and I was really happy about that. I had already changed from having my old Honda serviced at McDavid because they took very good care of me. Now because of Jesse's honest salesmanship and also Matthew 's being very kind to help me my financing needs, I will now come back to David McDavid Honda for my next new car. I would highly recommend them.
Absolutely the most amazing staff, customer service, and experience I've ever had. My sister's husband and I went in December 2011, and both walked out with a vehicle. My sister went back in 2012 to the same sales representative, and bough a vehicle. Our mother was so pleased with the CRVs that we both had, that she bought one as well. Now it is 2013, and time for me to trade in my lease! So I went back last night, worked with the same sales staff, and walked out in a few hours with a new vehicle. As a client looking at lower model vehicles, and with out wads of money in my pocket, and knowing nothing about cars, I was treated with respect, courtesy, and efficiency. And the best part?? They found my missing wedding ring that had been trapped in my floorboard for weeks. They called the next day, said the service team had found it, and I could come pick it up at any time. I suggest EVERYONE wanting to buy or lease a car in ALL of DFW, go to McDavid Honda of Frisco FIRST. Ask for JP or Christ or Randy.

I am extremely disappointed with my last interaction with your service staff and the way he handled my invoice. There was no transparency and when I called back to understand the amounts changed he was rude and refused to listen. I will never use your dealership again. I expect transparence in what you charge but in this case amount was charged without checking first with me. Totally unprofessional
I've have been bringing my Honda cars to McDavid Honda for 5 years. I've had mostly good experiences, but there have been two guys in particular that always seemed to be interested in making sure I had the best price for my service. It's not that I've ever had bad service there, but sometimes I've gotten service agents that just shuffled me through and seemed annoyed that I would ask when I could expect my car to be ready. CJ Bartle seems to enjoy going out of his to make sure I know what's going on with my car, that I'm getting discounts from the dealership, and that my price quotes are in line with what other service places are charging. He sends me PDF files via email instead of expecting me to stuff all the service paperwork in my glove compartment. The other guy I've had a good experience with is Tad. Another service agent had given me a quote on an alternator that seemed too high, so I looked around at other places, then called McDavid again and ended up speaking with Tad. He quoted me the lower price I was expecting and when I told him I had previously been quoted a higher price, he actually investigated how that was possible and explained the difference between the two different alternators that could be used in the same vehicle. anyway, ask for one of those two guys for your next service and they won't let you down.
McDavid Honda in Frisco best place to get a new or used car. Customer service is great was greeted right when I walked in. I've bought 2 cars from this dealership. Samuel Anthony Salas is always great highly recommend him. He makes sure your happy even after you buy your vehicle. 10 stars!! Marty Taylor approves!
I had a car towed there after a car wreck. My insurance wanted it moved to a different body shop to get worked on. When I called to get it all setup they told me they didn t have my car. When I called later they said the person I was working with didn t work there. It took a whole day to get my car removed. I would never use this place again. Very incompetent.
Update 1/15/18: They are today claiming they don t have my car after spending somewhere around two hours on the phone with them on Friday trying to find it. They had verified they had it Friday once they finally sent someone out to the lot to look. I spent another hour on the phone doing the same thing. I had it verified by the wrecker it was dropped off and I was there! I don t know how they could have ever claimed they didn t have it after giving me a card with a number to call to get updates.
Update 1/16/18: The tow company my insurance uses tried to pick up my car again and McDavid told them again that they didn t have my car. The tow truck operator finally went and found the car in the lot. Then I had to call in and tell McDavid to take the keys out to him.
Basically don t bring your car here unless you have a lot of time and patience, AND you don t need your car for a few days.
I was able get an appointment to meet my schedule. I was unable to get a loan car that I had hoped for since I knew the repairs were going to take a couple of days. My service writer let me know the suggested repairs which I agreed to. After that he kept me informed about the progress and it was ready when he said it would be. We are very pleased with the results as the car is much quieter than it has been in a long time.
My dad bought me a used FORD FOCUS 2014 in July 2020 from Honda of Frisco. $8800.00 65k miles. The car passed their inspection and they put it on their lot for sale as is . I had it literally 28 days before the transmission slipped and it wouldn t shift into gear. I had the car in their shop twice and they finally told me I would have to take it to a Ford dealership for any further issues. They passed the buck onto someone else to fix a car that THEY SOLD on their lot. Took it to Ford Dealership Greenville. Very nice and CARING dealership. They updated my software, that didn t work. They replaced my Transmission Module under Ford extended warranty. That didn t work. This car is currently sitting at the Ford Dealership and costing another $2541.74 to remove transaxle to gain access to replace slave cyl assembly and both shift forks and both fork actuator assemblies. Won't go in reverse. Removed actuator found shift fork very worn. None of which are covered under warranty. SHAME ON YOU HONDA OF FRISCO. My Dad test drove this car and nothing seemed wrong. We trusted you to sell an $8800 car that would at least run a couple years. If I could give negative 15 stars for dishonesty, shadiness, and complete lack of moral character, I would.
I have bought my certified used car from this location. I have waiting for the second car key for my car for almost three weeks now. Sales people don t even respond to your emails after they sell you a car. Awful experience. By the way I am still waiting for their email response or call while I am writing this. Please stay away. You can buy certified cars for same price everywhere so I would suggest not to waste your time.
I was at the service center today, first of all who ever is the big boss here please teach your team to wish people. I never seen a single person wishing customers. There must be at least 10 people pass me not even a single one said did you been helped. I am working as a retail manager and I know this is a serious things. So please on the morning meeting please if a supervisor can advice this it will be great.

I put a bad review last time because of the bad customer service but this time was much better. They came to picked up my car at work because I couldn t go out from work and when the finished the car service they brought the car back to me at no cost that s what I call a unique customer service keep it up I will bring all my cars here. We bought an Odyssey from Anas last Saturday for our growing family. Buying a car with a 10-month old on your lap is no small challenge. The dealings with salesman Eddie Hawk were 5-star, he was a great guy to work with. The post sale dealings with the finance organization were 1-star. I tried 8 times to get a response to a critical money question and got no response. Finally I started calling the head man in finance. These interactions were so messed up I rated the overall experience 2 stars. My advice, if you buy from McDavid go with cash and be done with them.
Never will go there again. They don't know how business works, with their inexperienced sales agents. Don't waste your time in that dealer ship... since David McDavid is not the owner anymore everything has changed the bad way.
I made the appointment online for an oil change at 0730 this morning. I got all checked in and Taylor, my service writer escorted me to the all new customer waiting area. What an area they have created! I did miss the big aquarium. Anyway Taylor had told me that It would take a while to get the oil changed and the multipoint inspection. I settled in and set out to reply to a bunch of emails. It seemed like I had just started when Taylor texted me saying that if I'd make my way to checkout the Pilot would be there. I had set myself up for about half of the morning to wait for the service. Come to find out, I was there for a little over an hour. Taylor provided me with the explanation of the inspection and I was then on the way home.
The team at David McDavid Honda in Frisco made our car buying experience worthwhile and pleasant! I asked Mike Myers (in the Service department) for a recommendation as to whom I should talk to in the Sales department. He highly recommended Mike Baker who took us through the car we wanted step-by-step. He introduced us to James Brown, who assisted us in financing. By the time we got done with James, Mike already had our 2003 Accord (that we traded in) right by our new 2020 Accord so we could move our stuff. He had earlier asked for my preferred settings (he already had that done) and walked me through some of the vital features I'll be using often--specifically CarPlay. Man, that was fun!
When we bought our 2003 Accord (at another dealership 17 years ago) we remembered that it was not a pleasant experience. But the team at David McDavid Honda of Frisco took great care of us! All three of these gentlemen (Mike Myers, Mike Baker, and James Brown) deserve "10's." We couldn't be more pleased with our experience and our purchase.
I am so disappointed to their customer service center representative. I just called them to ask about airbag recalled issue, i know I m not a English native speaker but I think I expressed clearly. The lady talked with me is soooo impatient with me. Once I didn t get her words, I can hear she sigh and speak more quickly. I told her I feel disappointed because I feel she is so impatient to customer. She refused to admit. I told her I don t wanna schedule with your center and thank you. She said ok and hang up the phone. If this is the way they treated their customer who is not English native speaking. Ok. I don t recommend anyone who is not native speaking to have service here.

I had to get my airbags changed in my Honda Fit and chose David McDavid up at 121 and North Dallas Tollway in Frisco. Victor Segura was my service rep and he led me through the whole process explaining all the details clearly and connected me to Enterprise to get my rental car at no charge to me while I waited for the parts to come in. All went smoothly and Victor was friendly, professional and available for any questions through it all. Once my parts were in, my car was rapidly serviced and I was so happy with how it all went I chose to have additional work done on my car too. All in all it was an excellent experience and great service. Thank you Victor, will be bringing my car back when it needs work.

The service was quick and they were honest. Originally they thought air filters needed to be replaced but they realized it wasn t necessary so they didn t.

About 2 years ago, I purchased a new Accord from David McDavid and was pleased with their sales team. Around a week ago, my wife and I did some internet shopping because she was looking to trade our Odyssey in for a newer model. McDavid had the best deal we could find so I requested more information on a particular model. Immediately, I was contacted by the online sales manager, James Brown, who told me to expect a call from Michael Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy reached out immediately and set up an appointment for that weekend (we live about 3 hours away). On the day of the appointment, Mr. Kennedy contacted me again to make sure we were still on for the appointment and also confirmed the vehicle we were interested in. When we arrived for our appointment, Mr. Kennedy greeted us promptly, offered us something to drink, and then took us outside to see the van. He had already gotten the van ready for us so we did not have to wait, and he was so thorough that he even brought exactly the same van as we looked at online. While we were looking at the the Odyssey, Mr. Kennedy arranged for our current Odyssey to be taken for appraisal. In the mean time, Mr. Kennedy showed us the features of the 2019 Odyssey EX-L, and there was not a question we asked that he did not know the answer to. He was clearly knowledgeable on this vehicle! We went back inside to discuss financing, and we got precisely what we asked for within about 10 minutes. There was no back-and-forth or time wasting. Soon thereafter, we went back to finalize the financing with John Pomroy who was professional, courteous, and friendly. The financing process, thankfully, did not involve a 3-foot contract and a dot matrix printer. The process was all automated and the paperwork was far less than previous car-buying experiences. Incredibly, we drove away in our new Odyssey after only about 90 minutes after we d walked in the door. I highly recommend David McDavid if you re in the market for a new car. 10/10 would do again!

This review is for my last experience at this dealership. It was HORRIBLE. It took them 4, yes FOUR hours to change my oil. I wasted HALF of my day waiting for the oil change. It was free, but now that my free service coupons are up I won't be returning. Also, when you "check in" you have to fill out paper work and put down your phone number. I put down my phone number only because if there is something wrong with my car or they do not see me sitting in the waiting area I want them to be able to call me to get a hold of me. HOWEVER, they apparently use your phone number to also call you and throw sales pitches at you. "I have a great deal for you on your 2011 Accord" Really???? The only "GREAT DEAL" you can give me is to a) pay off my car for me b) stop calling and leave me alone. A great deal would to no longer have car payments. Sure I'd love a new car (who wouldn't?) but mine is almost paid off... and I can't wait to be done making car payments.

My experience with Keith Burr changed my opinion of care salesman. He wasn t overly aggressive and looking to put me in any car but was concerned with finding me a vehicle that fit my everyday needs. We are yet to purchase for financial reasons but when it s time Keith will be our guy
I took my vehicle in for a B134 maintenance. Victor called and explained which repairs were necessary and which repairs are maintenance related. My vehicle was ready before I expected and was washed and ready to go!

I was in a very weird situation and needed to get out of my 5-month old brand new truck and was looking at a 2017 Pilot AWD Elite. Spoke initially to Johnny Funes, one of the Managers, dealt with him for about 5 weeks till I got my truck back from the shop so I could trade it in. He was very patient and professional, I was able to go in yesterday and complete my trade, I would specifically like to thank Carl my sales person, he was very knowledgeable, when he broke down the all of the features of my new car I walked away thinking this guy could probably take this car apart and put it back together, actually thinking about recruiting him away. I would also like to thank Josh, my finance guy, he was able to get me to number that even my credit union declined, which with whom I had financed 3 previous vehicles. My only hiccup was going to be the interest rate and Josh and team got me where I needed to be. I would also like to thank the Parts Manager, unfortunately I forgot her name, but she was awesome in getting me the details on the things I specifically had in my wishlist.
End of day, I know everyone has an opinion that when your the biggest and baddest you get nowhere with a company, with David McDavid Honda Frisco that is not the case, they were able to do more and had more leverage than other dealers (I have proof, was dealing with 2 other Honda dealerships), they were able to go above and beyond.
I feel like I have made personal and professional connections, I will only recommend this dealership, and Johnny, Carl, and Josh are a team that definitely can get you where you want to be and what you want.
Recently bought a civic here because they were the closest place with the color and trim I wanted. My salesperson was very nice and tried to be helpful but the finance experience was horrible. They tried to throw a service contract in there that I didn't want or need and when I declined the finance manager left, brought back someone else who didn't even introduce himself who then proceeded to try to pressure me into purchasing the service contract. When I decline him he told me they weren't going to change my payments and basically said they'd add the contract price back into the vehicle price because I was refusing the service contract. That is BEYOND shady and fraudulent. When I still refused he snatched the papers off the desk and stormed out of the office without saying anything else and sent the previous finance manager back in. My payments did get lowered but I was so anxious and shocked at that point I really didn't even get to look over the numbers again.
2nd issue is this forced upgrade they have on all the vehicles, this includes the package with floor mats, trunk liner and some other stuff, window tint, pin stripes and something else I'm forgetting. The pin stripes that I was charged $299 for and told were already on the car....do not exist. I've seen another Honda with the aforementioned pin stripes and my car does not have them. I expected a better experience from a dealership like this, not some shady used car lot experience.
