Our car buying experience was excellent from start to finish! Our salesman, Mike Stock, went above and beyond to find us the right vehicle at the right price. Really appreciate how hard the finance team worked to get our monthly payment within our budget. We loved the experience so much, we bought a second car here a month later, and we ll be coming back again when it s time for another new car.
This was the first time I was getting a car and I made the right decision to go to Honda/McDavid. Matt, the salesman assigned to us spent the entire day shows us cars, explaining the pros/cons and helped with pricing. Hafeez, the sales representative personally helped with financing coming up with affordable plans. They let me take the car for a test drive to see if it was comfortable with it on the road to make a well-informed decision. Once I signed up for the car, they took time to show me all features of the car and how to program each feature to my liking. I can honestly that it is a high likelihood that if/when I need to get another car, Honda/McDavid will be the place I go.
David Herrera did a fantastic job right from the moment i stepped into their office till we bought car. Very clear and transparent communication, hence helps clients build trust. This was a great experience!
I have been to numerous Honda dealerships and one thing I don't like are pushy people. I came to McDavid Honda of Frisco and was impressed with how friendly but NOT pushy they were. I am still not ready to purchase but will beginning of March and I will definitely go there without a shadow of a doubt. I was looking at the Honda CRV when a Female walked up to me and asked how I was doing and if I needed any help. I believe she is the Accessories manager. Her name is Tracy. Very nice and professional and answered a few questions than introduced me to a salesperson I believe his name was Angel. I will be back beginning of March. Thank you both! I also wanted to say the attire the salespeople have here is great. I went to another place and I could not believe how unprofessional they looked. I recommend!
I have been a customer with David McDavid ACURA for past 15 years, and decided to try the Honda dealership for proximity reasons. Car buying experience was fantastic but car service (A1) was pathetic. While all dealerships may carry out the technical services similarly, what sets apart one from another is the customer experience. The website was easy to book an appt. for 7:30 AM. Their breakfast corner was almost empty - two bananas and two oranges. At 9 AM it was only two oranges. (Acura dealership is always overflowing with many more options) I had requested that the mat in the trunk be hosed down and got a reply that "it won't have adequate time to dry." When I suggested that they hose it down at the beginning of the service so that it dries up in an hour .... brilliant idea! The external car wash was worse ever. There was a distinct layer of dust untouched. I had to take the car for additional wash right after servicing. It wasn't raining, yet the dirty paper-mat remnant was left behind in a messily fashion. Wasn't inviting me back to my driver's seat. I've never left the Acura (Plano) dealership feeling this disgusted. Didn't have time on a workday to resolve basic issues but as a customer experience I think I will stick to David McDavid Acura of Plano. I let go the free bluetooth speakers offer from Acura to tryout Honda service package; in hindsight not a good idea! I am hoping my A1 car service was not compromised. Will find out soon.

I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 1pm. When I arrived they told me the work would not be completed until 5pm. They told me there "is nothing wrong with making an appointment" they are just busy. They offered to shuttle me to the mall while I waited. I don't need to go to the mall on a Saturday for 4 hours. No thanks. I'll have to reschedule for a 3rd time.
I had the best experience at Honda in Frisco. Andy Looney was my salesmen and might I say I was blessed by his kindness. This was my first time buying a car and he explained the ins and outs of the vehicle for me. Everyone on this staff is nice and I even named my car Andy the accord after him . I purchased my certified pre-owned pilot in January and it has been a great experience! Buying the car was pressure-free - I test drove several vehicles, asked a million questions, and eventually settled into the car I wanted. I was prepared (and dreading) the negotiations to follow but it was surprisingly pleasant! I told Levani my bottom line and he made it happen with very little back and forth. The sales department took care of all my paperwork (including getting my new plates ordered) and the finance department got me out of there in no time. I love my new car and don't regret a single thing. I will definitely take it back to David McDavid for service and recommend to friends!
Ash was very responsive and attentive to our needs. He continued to check up with me and looked to ensure our needs were meet in the vehicle we wanted. It did take longer than I had anticipated, however was well worth it!

Terrible used car service. Used car sales man told me lots of service such as inside cleaning, touching up at scratched exteror and fueling service. However when I buy the car, they did not keep the word. It was just lie to sell the car.
This was a great experience, especially for a first time car-payer like myself. This was my first experience at a real dealership and I loved how professional all the service, managers and sales representatives were, especially Tracey Conyers. She came outside with my uncle and I, was extremely polite, and was very understanding of my needs, especially as a first-time customer and car- payer. She showed us a good selection of cars within our price range and preference, and eventually recommended a car which fit our needs. Her manager was very polite as well, and really helped us make a decision that day of 3/1/2018. My experience with service department has been bad multiple times. Gave them second chances because of location but oil changes have taken two hours with appointments and was sold a detailing service that increased $24 from quote after service was performed and job was not done well. Not trustworthy. Will make the trip to Lewisville where I bought the car for service from now on.

I had a really positive experience at Honda in Frisco! They were eager to help and explain everything throughly. Everyone I met was really nice from the managers, the financial guy, and the salesmen!! They took time to show me each feature of my car, the care and maintenance, and services they offer at their shop. They even gave me a tour for when I come back. Worst preowned management ever, I bought 2 cars previously from David Mcdavid Honda in Irving and currently financing one through BMW of Arlington the finance manager here didn't even give me a chance to run the numbers by me and also wants to make me redo the credit application because he is to lazy to verify it with me (very bad Customer service) and in the end wants to tell me I have to pick something he wants me to choose from not what I want which is a first but anyways even though me nd my dad have spent over $50,0000 with David Mcdavid on a 2008 honda accord bought brand new and 2014 honda accord sport bought preowned last year don't expect me to be coming back here anytime soon, I rather go back to BMW where they have better cars and way better Customer service than this location.
Nabeel and camden made it really quick and easy buying experience. Camden took the time to explains all the features the vehicle had. Waited for us when he was supposed to be off hours earlier. Just to make sure my parents know what feature the car came with.
I would and have recommended David McDavid Honda of Frisco to many. We have bought many cars from them and have been very satisfied with our experiences. This particular experience was even better than usual. For several reasons, I wanted and needed to trade out of the current vehicle and Adam and Rusty went above and beyond to make that happen. I am very excited about my new monthly payment, which was a primary focus, as well as the new 2016 Accord. I will return to them on the next vehicle, without fail.
What's the point of scheduling appointments online ahead of time if you're just going put us in queue with people who don't have appointments? An hour and a half and counting for a simple oil change. No updates... Nothing.
This place is like a cattle call. Probably be worth it to drive to a farther dealership, whatever time I spend driving I'll save on sitting around waiting.
It was easy to set up an appointment online. When I came in they were ready to do what I needed. It was easy to set up a loaner car when the wait was looking longer than expected.
As I was planning to purchase a used car, I visited this place. I was disappointed by the representative's behavior. For an extent his inquiries were acceptable however when he started to wheedle us in making a purchase right away I felt offended. Next moment he left us to attend other customer because we were not affirmative to make a purchase as he desired.
Top notch work by Mohammed Massud and your finance guy Youness is hilarious. Fairly straightforward transparency of the purchasing process and minimal pressure to buy.
They always do a great job every time I visit and give me a coupon if one is available and I didn t know about it. Truly strong and great customer service.
It was a great experience. Had no problems with placing an appointment. After getting the car to the dealership, our service manager made sure there was nothing other scheduled that needed to be completed. The inspection, oil change tire rotation, and alignment was completed within 2 hours. Once we picked up the car, the service manager gave us a detailed list of what to expect on our next service. Overall the service provided was excellent, and I will be returning.
I've ordered parts a couple of times. They have them the next day and they actually call you and let you know they are in. Quick to get in and out too. You can actually pay the parts guy instead of having to go to the cashier.

I like the service, but the price is always high. There have been several times in which the service guys try to up-sell services that would not fix the problems I had.
My wife and I just purchased an Odyssey from David McDavid and had a pleasant experience doing so. The sales staff were friendly and didn't pressure us at all. We worked directly with Shoaib Gauba and were pleased with his service. He stayed well past closing time as we wrapped up the paperwork. Shoaib went out of his way to make sure our van got a proper cleaning and that we got a price we were comfortable with.
The lease on my vehicle from McDavid Honda was about to expire and because of that, there are many options on what you can do at the end of the lease. But before going to the dealership, I had made up my mind to simply buy the car outright. Omar Alvarez was my sales agent. When I told him of my decision, there was no sales pressure to change my mind nor was I bombarded with further add-on's that are possible when purchasing a vehicle. Additionally, they MATCHED a pretty aggressive interest rate I had from my credit union. And they even washed the car for me! Job well done, team. I appreciate the straight-forward approach and superb customer focus.
My paint has peeled and flaked off but no service adviser ever said their was a recall on my car. I bought the car there, yet neither Honda nor this dealer let me know. Now it's expired so I have to live with an ugly car all because no one bothered to call me. No more Honda's for our family.
The process was simple. I dropped my car off, explained the situation and Mike Rowe took care of the problem. He even called and informed how much the service would cost. I am also happy how he didnt push any other service on me like most car places do. His customer service was amazing. I really felt like I was talking to a friend versus an employee.
I've purchased two vehicles from David McDavid of Frisco. I will continue to do business with them based on the great service I receive. I recently visited the location to have my Honda Accord coupe serviced on. Made an appointment easily online earlier that morning and got my car in the shop by that afternoon. Tim Langston was my service advisor, I can tell he was having a rough day. Working in a hot garage with no A/C is not fun at all. I commend, and salute anyone who has to work outside during the summer time in Texas. Tim did advise that they were busy that day about a 2 HR wait which is normal with a big dealership I work really close so I didn't mind dropping it off and coming back later. Fast forward later in the day I called Tim back to get a status of the car since of course it's my only means of transportation. Tim advised I had one more car ahead of me and that he would have tech inspect the vehicle, and he advised he would call me back on the resolution. He reached back out to me within the hour to explain my car couldn't be looked at. Which of course bummed me and out and pissed me off. But I wasn't upset with Tim. But at the fact that I made an appointment online and my car still wasn't able to be looked at. Tim also explained that he would give me a loaner but they are all out of loaners that day. (My lucky day) lol needless to say I was not happy that I would have to drive the same car I brought there earlier today, and risk driving it back home under the same damage. When I picked up my car Tim did apologize for the severe inconvienance and invited me back tomorrow, since he had placed his name on the loaner car list. Due to the recalls of Hondas air bag system the dealership would run out of all their loaners till the next morning.
I told Tim that I wasn't happy, and that I would just have to go along and bite the bullet. I decided to call back after I left BC it just left a bad taste in my mouth. When I called back I was able to get in touch with Buddy Mays a service manager. I explained the entire ordeal to Mr. Mays and he was understood me completely. He even invited to skip me ahead in line to get a loaner the same day. I was already half way home so I decided I would meet with him in the morning. Mr. Guy knew my worries when I advised I was hesitant to drive my car back home and back to the dealership the next morning. He even went out of his way to advise the had a guy with a tow service that could pick me up so I could obtain a loaner that evening. Fast forward I came back the next day got my car taken care of and received a loaner car first thing that morning and I didn't have to pay a DIME plus the issue was still under dealership warranty ! Noticed I had a nail in my tire and patched it for free.

Listen to the customer hear them out, put yourself in their shoes, and you handle business. I'm a customer support specialist lead for a Energy Company so this is like an everyday thing. So I knew if I had the opportunity to boast, and brag on the service I would be more than happy to take time out of my day to write a great review.

Waited over 2 hours for an oil change & tire rotation, and I had an appointment. The service rep (Sergio?) had nothing to offer but excuses. The oil change was free bc of my certified pre-owned purchase. They didn t even put a reminder sticker for when the next oil change is due. Worst service ever.
Megan was attentive to my concerns and addressed each one, checking with the service area when needed. She was promt in notifying me and responding to texts. She truly listened.
Dylan was a fantastic advisor!!!! I had a tire go flat the day before I had a 13 hour drive for thanksgiving holiday. I only found out 10 minutes before closing and Dylan agreed to stay open and change my tire even after closing to make sure my family was safe on the road!!! Great service!!!!!
My service appointment experience this past weekend was not good. After the service when I am driving my car back found that check engine light is on. When I took my car back, my service advisor found that some cables are not connected under the hood. He showed it to service manager and provided a credit of $50, that's nice of him. I hope McDavid put in additional checks to double check the Service work these mistakes can turn out to be dangerous to customers.
Knowledgeable, professional service staff - service always completed correctly the first time, and always on time or ahead of scheduled completion. This is our fourth Honda purchased new from McDavid, and we have always serviced these cars here - More than satisfied customer since 2008 :)
1.5-2 hours for a simple oil change with an appointment is a bit ridiculous....Don t buy the maintenance package when purchasing a vehicle. It s not worth your time unfortunately.

I moved to Plano from Fort Worth last year and started doing my oil changes at this location and what a huge difference in customer service.. I was shuttled over to Stonebriar while I waited and I tell you I actually don't mind going to get my oil change anymore.. Thank you for the excellent customer service..
I just purchased my C63 AMG from these guys yesterday and can't speak highly enough about how fantastic Victor Berry was to deal with. If you're looking for a car in the area that McDavid Honda has, call and ask to speak with Victor Berry - you won't be sorry.
First off, I live over 3 hours away so I can't just hop in the car and show up to browse the lot. When I saw they had the vehicle I wanted with the options I wanted to sent them an email one evening. The response time was very fast and instead of trying to *sell* me the car, Victor asked what I was looking for and how he could help. I explained my distance from them and he offered to text me pics of any part of the vehicle I wanted to see, which I had him do. He's knowledgeable and exceptionally pleasant to deal with. He's also very timely with his replied, even staying in touch (and more) on his day off (see below).
Victor brought the car into the service department (on his day off!) and put it on a lift to examine an area of the vehicle that had received minor damage at some point (as noted on CarFax). He was able to verify there was no structural damage by examining the original fasteners that are put in place and marked by the assembler at the time of manufacture. I could do this myself, of course, but it would mean 6+ hours round trip and a lot of time/energy wasted if I found something I didn't like. Victor saved me a great deal of trouble.
I've got my own financing so I had them send the info to my bank, drove there to see the car for myself (and test drive, of course) and then completed the sale in less than an hour. Victor made sure the car was spotlessly detailed while we buttoned up the last bits of paperwork and had it fueled up and ready to for me.
Victor went FAR above and beyond anything I've ever experienced from anyone at a car dealership before.
Was able to make an appointment online very easily. Not much wait once I arrived. The tire with a leak was replaced and I was called and quoted the price. The service Dept stays open late so I could get there after work.
Once I arrived, the price increased 50%.
This dealership prorates the replacement tire cost based on tread left on the tire. However, they charge sales tax on the total price and don t prorate the tax. Replacement tire cost me ~$40 but had ~$25 in sales tax.
The bad math is one thing. I think they should tell me what the total cost is via phone when I ask.
service was spectacular & Gabriel was diligent & timely with updates! the master mechanic was beyond talented & thorough. my hondacare is close to expiring & i was so grateful that they took the time to ensure any covered repairs were identified & addressed. great job to everybody on my Pilot-team!
I was really happy with our visit to this place. I took my daughter to check out some cars. She spoke with Gina who was very helpful. We have not decided on which car to get yet but we probably will end up buying a car from the Honda dealer.
We popped in to look at the 2016 Pilots. Levani, Mosaab & John Brown were excellent. I had researched the Pilot for a while and I'm now the proud owner of a 2016 Pilot. I got a great deal!
