The stores and food hall always have such beautiful and elegant displays and merchandising! The customer service was so great when I had a gift wrapped, the lovely lady who served me gave it to me free of charge. Great range of food in the food hall. I recommend the pasta - best beef ravioli!

The new store looks spectacular. Fantastic range of products. Service remains hit and miss.

Whilst there is extensive building work happening it is shut away and I didn't notice it

The young man who works for Dyson during the week, was most helpful when I was choosing a vacuum. I bought a V11 outsize and I Can't fault my purchase. I have never had any experience with Dyson before and I was very happy to be served by him, he knew he was talking about and was very friendly towards my husband and I. I would recommend going to talk to him.

Few yrs ago an Asian lady staff (& maybe got another staff w her to intimidate me - a gentle CHILD) continuously & obnoxiously knocked/shoo'd me out of a DISABLED unisex toilet near womens on the level where they sell older lady's clothes. There r seats only in that area - clearly id have to stand waiting for my mum. & how did they know I wasn't a woman? There were some weird ppl & interactions in mens toilet too.

A large traditional department store with a wide selection of exclusive items.

New look store is great, very clean, staff and customers did the social distancing was happy to see that, hand sanitising everywhere plus staff helped me to find product I was after,

A nice place to go shopping for clothes. Prices are moderate given competition with Myers next door. This is definitely an amazing place if you want to buy some quality items of clothing. There a large selection of clothing for both men and women including branded goods. There is also a good court downstairs if you're ever feeling peckish

They have huge range of products. However, the place is quite packed and poor services. I actually didn't enjoy shopping here so only came here once or twice a year.

Very poor experience. Very unprofessional sales. The product packaging did not write instructions for use. Staff does not explain to customers! Finally, I bought the wrong one and didn't change it! In turn, educate the guests, saying that the guests themselves did not do enough research. They really should have closed down! 2019, still don't know what service is?

I usually love shopping at David Jones but after a very horrible experience with one staff member today I have to rate this place a 1. While waiting for a lift I found the button was not lighting up to show a lift was on its way, because of this I pressed it a few times in the hopes it would light up. From around the corner a woman yelled at me to stop pressing the button and before I could explain the reason she SCOFFED in my face and trotted away. This is a disgusting way to treat customers and I was appalled at her rudeness. To yell at me in front of other customers was embarrassing enough but to be scoffed at was beyond acceptable. I work in customer service and I would not dare treat a customer as she did. Ladies if you are on level 4 watch out for the 6 foot, short haired woman because she is not someone you want to come across.

I bought a watch and the lady who was supposed to serve us left the counter withoutout saying anything when it was our turn to pay.That is rude and very poor customer service.The young man who was there did try to help us but he seems inexperience and couldnt serve us at the counter.Had to find an available customer service person after a while.Dissapointing.

This shop has always been my go to for clothing and it never disappoints. Many good name brands at decent prices including sales that seems to go all year round. Very fancy food area which is expensive but tasty all the same.

A weekend getaway in sydney city was made that much better byt he exceptional customer service we received whilst shopping for clothing for my wife.

The place is being refurbished so there are a few floors closed. Looking good what they have done. Be good when it is finished just a work in progress at the moment.

I was told about better quality of service in this salon but I haven't noticed it. First of all it was very painful they way she removed my cuticle, than I can't say it was done properly as the areas I usually have dry skin. When they did my French and in very specific with its shape. I have mentioned few times what I would prefer and still at the end I wasn't happy with its shape. She didn't even bother asking me if I like it. And she saw that I was looking at them at different angles feeling ashes to say that it's not what I wanted. But she made me feel bad for commenting to much

David Jones in the city has a huge range of beautiful products from all the big named brands. The food hall is packed with lots of grocery options as well as cakes, pastries, seafood and sushi. You can also buy fresh flowers, fruit and vegetables and fresh bread. Sale time is great especially at the end of the financial year in June. You can grab some great bargains.

Nice shopping complex with aplenty designer stores to browse and choose from.

This is my second favourite Shopping Mall after Macy's New York. you should visit if you coming to Sydney for Shopping

I love the food hall the deserts are amazing, the main store opposite St James is having a face lift at the moment one it's done I'll pop in and have a quick look round tell u all about it then. In the mean time the bubble effect was the reflection on the window from the business opposite kind of like the effect it gave the photo

Ashley from Waterford was the most perfect human. We couldn't find anyone on the floor of David Jones but she asked if we needed any help and ended up with the most wonderful engagement present. She even helped us with choosing the wrapping and the ribbon to match! Thank you Ashley!!

I went to david jones in the city and was looking for a luggage. No one was there to assist us and literally, you would have to look for a person if you have questions about a product. Even when we were opening it, nobody even approached us.

Appauling staff do not know anything about custoner service or their systems

The worst online service ever, shipment arrives 10 days later, customer service replies to emails very late and they cannot even fulfil your order. Ordered an item VIA click and collect, went all the way into store to collect with them telling me the order could not be fulfilled. Why advertise stock you don't even have? Never again will i order from their online store, this has happened way too many times.

Stand didnt come with item and i was advised of this-- I was also offered 2 year warranty. Was given a worst case scenario date to have stand delivered as time was issue as moving interstate 1 week later and several call with Guarantee stand would be tomorrow tomorrow, i asked for confirmation of conditions of sale from team member - was sent a cut and paste statement from consumer website and LG customer service saying to contact them if i had any issue... Was time for Refund at this point.. Enter Chris Sales manager for Electronics - after telling him my issue he was not interested in any thing i had to say and told me i had to pay 200 to have a refund to pay for the return of the TV ive never been able to use. Very deceptive sales staff the unfriendliest sales manager ive met or spoken not a luxury store at all - happy to take your money on purchase .. forget any help even at the basic consumer rights level. I spoke with customer service Antennela who has advised would organise a return and confirm via email... Day 2 no email... Please think twice before purchasing from this store they will gladly take your money but have no interest in you when there is an issue. Will see what happens by deadline tomorrow before having to take further action

It's ok as far as stores go. Has some high street brands to designer brands. It's fairly large and split on multiple levels but accessible via a lift or escalators. The men clothing section is rather small but the ladies (located in a separate building adjoined to the main building via a bridge) is pretty big. It's a little chaotic, i don't find it a pleasure to walk around but at least they have the brand's you want.
