The old man who works at travel goods section was very kind.
thanks for a lot.
When I visit Sydney once again, definitely I will be shopping at this store.
The dior sales in david jones love to put on face, luxury goods still have this kind of service attitude, the real market should not
Probably closest you'll get to a 1St world store in the colonies
Don't try the cafe in the lower ground level.
almost nothing is fresh make, even soft-boil eggs are pre-made.
We just ordered toast with jam and a mushroom bruschetta with soft-boil egg.
They managed to forgot the egg.
The worst part is the food still takes almost 20 minutes to arrive.
Such an elegant store. The staff were extremely kind, helpful and generous. Especially the guy at the Kiehls counter. Sorry I don't get your name. We went for the flowers which were wonderful. Putting it on the calendar for next year.
I wish I could give negative star, salesman told me that they give extra discount to AU citizens and permanent residents. F U David Jones. If you are foreigners don't go there. you are not welcomed and the price is overpriced.
Best place in Sydney to shop for your highly loved and pricey, luxury brands.
Flagship store, huge clothing range and super helpful staff
Wonderful high end department store such fantastic men s clothes, just about any style you like
So many beautiful ladies dresses, skirts, gowns and ensembles friendly helpful staff always ready to help and go that extra step to find you what you re looking for. Highly recommend
A shambles. I feel sorry for the staff. No_ one knows where the nearest exit is. If there was an emergency, there would be utter chaos.
Used to pride itself as the most beautiful department store in the world. Don't know if that predicate still valid or not but it sure is amongst the best.
As someone who has come here since a child, captivated by the christmas beauty, I was disappointed with everything christmas this year. My son was heart broken at the lack of moving windows and elf puppets. Advertising can be all year round, why can't christmas still be special?
Beautifully laid out with the refurb. Lift indicators are difficult to see where they have reached your floor.
Great customers services, Uplifting and Well Space planning Retail interiors, Cheerful and elegance ambience, beautiful piano music played by your dedicated amazing team of Pianists, good stores location, Very good selection of retailers and products, Good bakery.
My No. 1 Store at all times, I purchased almost everything from DJ.
Good prices, most big named brands and great food worth the price.
I've loved the brands being introduced into store the last few years. After seeing the new Lv7 i'm so excited for the rest of the renovations to be unveiled!!
It's about time an Aussie dpt store actually spent some money on a new fit out & extra staff (across a few stores). I'm so sick of local retailers whinging about their sales but not spending any money on their stores.
I bought Dyson V11 from david jones online, in april 2020 and it stopped working within 3 months of time, i called David jones to provide replacement or exchange and the staff was so rude he said its dyson so we have nothing to do with it and said its my fault that i bought it online so no sales person was able to tell me that if any issues david jones will do nothing in case of dyson products....I called dyson and they said that i should contact david jones for refund as i didnt buy from them, I cannot believe thats the level of service from such big brands its been 2 months me calling these both places with still no vaccum
Toilets were apparently groovy but the rest was confusing and poor service where the shoes live
Great new store with more new levels coming every month
Not actually worth any stars. I was served at the Estee Lauder counter today by a person named Katie who was without a doubt the most rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of being served by.
Difficult to navigate, staff are not not willing to assist you with queries on products or where to find them.
The best of David Jones chain stores. Luxury at its best. Definitely worth the visit.
I've been a long time loyal customer, misleading free promotions, and won't let me use my loyalty points to pay for goods. Unacceptable going back to Myer
David Jones has an amazing / Beautiful Shoe Dept . It was also nice to walk into the main floor and hear the piano being played for the holidays . The windows were a disappointment Again. . dirty , sloppy , old glue residual from old advertising still left on the windows . Not cleaned properly . Ornaments seem dusty .the floors were also dirty. Staples everywhere ,bad paint job . Just lacking in details . Room for improvement.
Good shop, offers plenty of things to rate adults but in children the choice and rather minimal
Their staff give you their undivided attention, the best customer service I have experienced.
The place itself is high end, even the stores and the products, but it's over priced.
Luxury department store. Coincidentally, I was a little surprised that there was a clerk who could speak Japanese at the entrance of the store! As I expected... Food was sold in the basement of the Men's Building, and it seemed as delicious as "Meijiya in Kyobashi?" There are paid wine tastings and a small meal counter...
After all, it's a luxury store.
David Lawrence sales person was extremely helpful but the ladies store is a nightmsre long wait for change rooms. Not ideal shopping .
It was horrible on all levels. However, Halina from level 9 did an amazing job today. She was efficient and had numerous outfits for me to choose from. Whatever she had put through was beautiful. Her wrapping was also gorgeous (she also added a sneaky Minnie Mouse sticker on it which was adorable)! Would 100% keep going to her. A big thank you to Halina for the amazing customer service and making my day today. Keep up the good work.
A range of quality products - perhaps not particularly cheap, yet still moderate. I usually go here for the quality, however my last visit was to purchase dress studs for my shirt - not readily available elsewhere, even at gentlemen's outfitters.
Lifts are so slow and when you call up to have an item held, no one can find it easily. Not to mention it's busy all the time
come and visit whilst they are still open for business
Dileepa at the Hugo Boss concession store has tremendous service & took care of me. Thanks greatly!
Paul at the Emporio Armani concession offers the highest level of service consistently, is passionate & enthusiastic & an absolute pleasure to speak to. Please see these gentleman for any of your needs. Thanks!
Poor service, quick fobed off to other counters. Too busy and untidy. To walk through. Lost its old world charm. Disappointed as it was always a pleasure to visit in earlier years.
My favorite store, you can find everything there, and the best quality
Everything i needed and good quality, i like the shoe area.
Beautiful old building, feels more like an experience rather than a money-hungry department store.
I had good experience, got good offer & good service
I don't find this store particularly inviting. Last time I visited there was a DJ blasting painfully loud music through the womenswear section.
Keystone store with everything that you often can't get at smaller DJ's.
No staff to help customer! Every time we must stay for long to be served!!
DJs used to feel luxurious and a tiny bit posh. Now you wouldn't want to rest in the unhygienic 'restrooms' and there are dustbunnies in the fitting rooms. Understaffing?
Currently under construction at one of the busiest times of year :S lifts are all full and all the products have been moved to the top floors.
Always love David Jones City. Service was very slack but still enjoyed my morning
The staff on the women departments are ao rude. On my first visit during the renovation was horrible. There is no staff to assist me. There is no greetings or smile on the register. Same thing happened to me today. The only time the staff actually spoken is to remind my partner that the fitting room is for women only even though he is just standing infront of the fitting room area. On my second fitting (same day), I could not get the curtain fully closed and the staff remind me of the store closing time looking at the small space on the curtain. When I was shocked she said The store is closing in 5 minutes. Sorry if I scared you. It s okay, it s only me. Thats why we make it women only . Regardless of the gender, I wouldn t want any stranger sees me inside the fitting room. The management should really pay attention to the people they are hiring.
In the middle of renovations. Ridiculous how far the detours were to get to certain departments. More staff in corridors as well.
Still doing renovations to most of the floors, but level 7 and above are lovely
Went shopping for a decanter to use with whiskey (Mostly for display purposes) late on a Sunday. Staff were helpful (See Georgia in homewares with the short hair and specs) although one lady could hardly speak a word of English (I'm baffled when this occurs). Store always well presented and easy to navigate. DJs had a much larger range of decanters (For both wine and whiskey) than Myer, and more proactive staff. Keep up the good work!
Worst shopping experience ever!!!! Very rude and disrespectful staffs.
Under renovations so quite nice and better than before
The staffs from kids department are so unfriendly and make really difficult to to do exchange for item.
The new Disney store is cool. It's not downtown Disney but still a nice way to get the Disney feeling in Sydney
I love the food court. Do yourself a favour and get a pork roll from the rotisserie with crackle and apple sauce
A bit hard to find things and staff are too busy to help
Love this department store. Has everything. Comprehensive ladies designer shoes on level 5. The Elizabeth street david jones takes the crown in my humble opinion.
It was different, I'll definitely come back for a simple manicure~ cause it's $20 and they did a really good job shaping and cleaning however it's a bit overpriced $60 for a gel mani lucky I'm staff but still overpriced, and also added I saw many staff turning away customers and it's really weird to me that there is three staff members but only one can paint nails?
Wide range of clothes to choose from and friendly staff.
