I really enjoyed working with Richard, unfortunately he is no longer there. The service offered on my brakes, was not what I expected. I was offered to resurface the rotors and clean the pads. The rotors were heavily rusted and the pads were grooved. This repair would not have lasted very long and would have cost me $200.00. I had the items in question replaced elsewhere with gm parts for $ 336.00 . I also have a damaged wheel. I have insurance on the wheeels. I asked if it would be covered, I still have no response.
Very friendly and accommodating staff (particularly Maria DeSano), and a super expedient buying process. The experience was top notch all around, which I can't say for most dealerships.
Originally was with suburban Cadillac in Troy and was completely appalled by the lack of professionalism. They continuously did not treat me with enough respect due to being a younger Cadillac owner switched over and absolutely love love love this dealership. Donna and Richard a very attentive and always happy to help. The staff overall is very respectful and polite and treat everybody as a valued customer regardless of their age!!
John was super attentive and patient. I bought this for my wife as a surprise which added a few more hurdles. I drove 3 hours to pick this up, and they made the process easy in, easy out. Thanks John! Thanks Crestview Team!
I may have jumped the gun. The issue with the heated seats was not resolved as stated in the repair receipt. Now I am bringing my ATS back on Friday the 21st for the 3rd time for the same issue. I will say that the service department and Brad and Richard and the whole administrative staff are great and the loaner car program is awesome. But not too happy about the final outcome of my repairs. I'll reevaluate and re-rate after the next service.
I bought a used vehicle from Brandon Foreman at Crestview Cadillac. I love my new vehicle and Brandon was great to work with. Brandon went above and beyond normal procedure to ensure that I felt comfortable buying a used vehicle. 5/5 stars, I would definitely recommend!
Good selection of vehicles compared to other dealerships. Not the place to go for a deal. Was in the sales office twice. The salesperson knew my budget, knew the vehicle I wanted. Sales manager was arrogant and rude talking over me, tried every manor of cliche sales tactics (I m losing money on this, yada yada) before telling me he couldn t meet my budget by $1500. Can understand if my price can t be met, but complete waste of my time to drag me in there twice for a painful conversation. If the sticker price is fine for you, you ll probably have an okay experience here. But I definitely had a better experience at the Novi dealership, and Novi has many more certified vehicles built into their sticker price. Will not be recommending Crestview to any of my peers. Never expected such a rude experience at a Cadillac dealership.
I will be purchasing my next Cadillac from Crestview. The service team provides impeccable service. After the service manager changed my tire in my work parking lot, he was able to make special arrangements to get me a loaner when the other dealers had none available. The same day! They fixed my recall and warranty work quickly. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you Crestview service team for treating me like a highly valued customer.
I had mixed reviews after purchasing my car here however I brought my car here to the service department where I met trevor a detailed customer oriented service advisor who could see my need and then met my need. I highly recommend bringing your car her for service and meeting Trevor.
I have a cadillac on lease and they take great care of my car. Whenever my car needs servicing or some issue has come up, the team here has welcomed and helped us very nicely. I sometimes take my kids and they work it out well with schedule not to delay anything for me. Thank you
This is my favorite dealership in metro Detroit. Do not go anywhere else or you will not be as satisfied. Friendly, knowledgeable staff make the difference.
Work was done in time promised, car was clean and work described clearly on invoice. Waiting area is customer friendly with coffee and donuts, WiFi, and TV! Thanks for great service, even provided me with a coupon for an oil change.
To summarize my most recent trip to Crestview's service department in two words: horrific nightmare. They tried to outrageously over-charge me without properly diagnosing the problem, and retaliated after I refused the repair by leaving the vehicle in a mess on pick up.
I took my vehicle to Crestview for service on the OnStar hardware system after noticing the status indicator by the 3 buttons turned red. Prior to the trip to the dealer, I called the OnStar call center, which ran a remote diagnosis and identified the problem being in the OnStar system. A follow-up automated e-mail provided the error code B1447, which was related to the back-up battery for the module. Note that the call was placed through OnStar from within the vehicle, which meant the communication system worked except when the vehicle lost power in a serious crash, the main reason to have OnStar service in the first place.
I relayed all information above to Crestview online when making the service appointment and was assured that it would be passed along to the team.
On the day of service, Crestview called and said per their diagnosis, the entire OnStar unit needed to be replace or none of the OnStar functionality would work. Furthermore, the replacement part would cost over 700. I called their bluff by mentioning the prior diagnostic session with call-center as proof that the module itself worked. I even successfully requested the vehicle location through Cadillac / OnStar mobile app right after the phone call; this required connectivity to the vehicle. On top of that, the module does not cost 700 even if a unit replacement is needed. Disclosure: I am a former GM / OnStar employee and knows when it's over 8 times the actual cost.
After the back-and-forth, they came back with yet another overpriced quote to just replace the battery: over 500 dollars with 3 hours of labor. I declined the repair and waited to pick up the vehicle. When handed back to me, the rear seats were still torn down and a pick in the middle propping up the panel. Ironically, the OnStar unit is visible next to it on the right. Was it just my imagination or was it a pay back...to the customer that refused to be ripped off??
Before I left, they apologized and offered to discuss this issue some more the next day. Well, take a guess whether they called me or not...
I got into a car accident in December and had my car towed to them. Not only did it take more then 3 times to fully fix my car, they gouged out my center console...they wouldn't take responsibility for anything until I threaten to sue them and spoke with the general manager of the entire dealership. The entire experience was very disheartening and frustrating. The whole process took about 3 to 4 months. I had such terrible service my insurance company black listed them...
In response to the owner I don't have German made car. It's a Cadillac that's made right here in Michigan. As for the time frame it took...multiple trips and multiple phone calls from I and my insurance agent to get anything taken care. Oh and one specific phone call to the general manager of the dealership threating to sue you for damaging my car. Again I stand by what I said. WORST SERVICE EVER AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP. Owning up to your mistakes is the 1st step in better service and your response was all excuses no apologies for the level of frustration your dealerships negilance caused me.
My experience at Crestview is very different from the reviews I've read others leave. I had my vehicle in for a combination of warranty work, recalls, and routine maintenance - and was extremely dissatisfied with the experience. Although the work the technicians completed was as expected, the customer service experience did not meet the level that I would expect of a Cadillac dealership. I felt as though I was inconveniencing the dealership with my needs/requests, and was frustrated by the lack of communication I received on the status of my vehicle. Furthermore, I felt that they were "up-selling me" by recommending services that may not have been necessary at the time - but I agreed to having done (and paying for out of pocket) since they were recommended by the experts. Once my vehicle was returned to me (after 3 full days of service), 2 of the issues I had brought to their attention were not fully resolved. Finally, this was the third time I've had my vehicle in for service at Crestview (where I purchased my car initially 1.5 years ago) and they never seem to remember me or treat me as a loyal customer - even going as far as saying "nice to meet you" when dropping off my car even though I had met and emailed with this representative multiple times in the past. At this point, I will be taking my car - and my future business- to another dealership that can (at a minimum) remember who I am.
Just had my Ford Edge repaired in the body shop. Overall, it was a great experience. Bradly and Nick made the process easy. The car looks great and they delivered on every promise. I highly recommend them!
My purchase experience with Donna Walker was exceptional because I only came to inquire about pull ahead leases. She had all my concerns readily available, and to my surprise knew exactly what I wanted. I found my self going home in a newly leased vehicle. Which my wife really likes. Thank you Donna and Crestview Cadillac for the professional and personal experience. James S
Kevin was incredible. I had been to three other dealerships before him and worked with all kinds of sales people and was somewhat disheartened. When I met Kevin I felt like he had my best interest in mind. He was genuine and so pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy/lease.
We had a wonderful experience at Crestview Cadillac. Donna Walker worked with us to get us into the car we wanted, even when we had more than a year left on our current lease.
BUYER BEWARE! I am a business owner. My secondary household car is a 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV, with a certified warranty that is still valid until August of this year. I have owned/leased more than three dozen vehicles, most of which have been GM vehicles.
I take care of my vehicles with regularly scheduled maintenance. I do not have any children who beat the vehicles up. My vehicles are even washed more than once a week.
The audacity displayed the past 2 weeks by Charlie the District Manager at Crestview Cadillac has left me in total dismay and shock at the level of customer service provided by Cadillac (specifically, Crestview Cadillac located at 555 S. Rochester Rd., Rochester, MI 48307; Repair #008 from 2/19/2018/ thru 3/8/2018).
My rear defroster wire has now been fixed 5 times by this dealership. I am told it is a GM engineering flaw on this vehicle, which I agree is likely true. Today, the most recent visit, I was informed that Charlie the District Manager advised if the rear defroster wire falls apart again (which it probably will), to go to another dealership, because they do not wish to honor the warranty or repair this wire again.
This is a total breach of the representation made with regard to the certified warranty provided by Cadillac. I switched to Crestview Cadillac because Cadillac of Novi always took two weeks to get an appointment for service. I even brought my Jeep to Crestview Cadillac for paid car washing/detailing because they did a good job in the past, and I wanted to give them all my business.
This dealership group also owns a few Mercedes dealerships. I recently referred my friend to Mercedes Novi (same ownership) for an E350, and planned to buy my G550 from there. Not anymore. This dealer group has lost my business due to the poor customer service skills of Charlie the District Manager, who does not honor GM certified warranties.
To add insult to injury, the part was on back order for two weeks. The loaner vehicle they issued had Courtesy Vehicle written all over it an advertisement that basically screams, Yes, my Cadillac is back in the shop yet again. The best solution they suggested on my 4th visit for repair was to try not to use the rear hatch too often, especially in the cold, so the wire doesn t keep falling off. I hardly even open the rear hatch! It s a Cadillac! Disgraceful.
I guess I can only hope this defroster wire has been fixed properly to avoid a 6th repair at yet another dealership. Cadillac, what the heck is wrong with your customer service? -Omar George
To the Crestview organization, this note is to let you know what an outstanding job Paul Kuenzel is doing. Paul Kuenzel responded my/our to our Roadside Assistance call for a flat tire. Service Reference Number 75291376. First a little background; Onstar send me a text message to my office and then my wife called me to inform me that the right rear tire was going flat as she was driving home. Having driven Cadillacs for a while and being lucky to not need the service before, my wife and I were both apprehensive as what to expect. I was at work and she was in the vehicle, however she wanted me to call roadside assistance, which of course I did. The roadside assistance process is simple. While I am sorry I don t remember the name of the lady that help us, she was quick, professional, and very helpful as well. She informed us that Crestview responded to our request for roadside assistance and the person s name was Paul Kuenzel. Within a few minutes Paul called me to let me know that he was on his way, including his approximate arrival time. Also per my request Paul contact my wife with his name and when he was scheduled to arrive. Upon arrival he introduced himself and was very courteous. He explained what he was going to do to fix the flat and ensure the tire would be safe for the life of the tire. He ended up plugging the tire and checked and other 3 tires for correct pressure. He also let us know if for some odd reason the repaired tire leaked then he would have to put a patch on the inside. This type of discussion, along with his knowledge, professionalism, while understanding her concern for safety along with taking the time to answer her questions made my wife comfortable. In this day and age of the me first or only about me attitudes and work ethics it is easy to expect complacency. Paul Kuenzel showed us that professionalism is not a thing of the past and it is possible to expect and receive outstanding service with a fantastic attitude and work ethic. Paul even followed up this morning, to make sure everything was still okay. WOW! Thank you Paul! The plug worked, please continue to supply the great service! Sincerely Michael and Theresa K.
My experience with Crestview Cadillac was OUTSTANDING! John Dew was my salesperson and he was able to get me exactly what I wanted for my new Cadillac! I would definitely refer this dealership and recommend salesman John Dew to all my friends/family! I LOVE my new Caddy! Thank you Crestview Cadillac!!!!A+++
My experience of purchasing a pre-owned vehicle with Matthew Kent was absolutely perfect. I ve been searching for the perfect vehicle- in budget, FWD/AWD, SUV- and after a few months, Matthew and I found the perfect vehicle! The process was so easy and I absolutely love my new (to me) 16 Equinox. Thank you so much Matthew for all your continued help!
The salesman Brandon was extremely courteous and was clear to understand the new features that this Cadillac comes with, I could not have been more pleased.
They have great customer service and all staff is super friendly and nice. It s a drive from my house but I still choose to go their just because they are exceptional. However, my car still have the same problem I have taken my car for the same problem twice now and no resolution for my problem.
Just moved from Missiouri to Michigan so had to find a new dealership. Had a great sales rep named Kara who was both professional and honest. Being in sales myself I appreciated her candor and she did a great job answering all questions. Will definitely be a return customer at Crestview Cadillac an would recommend Kara to anyone.
I had an excellent experience thanks to Matthew Kent. Super knowledgeable about my vehicle and guided me through the Service Department process that I use on a regular basis. I will be referring my friends and family for sure!
Bought a CTS from Kevin Huff who was tremendous. He was very knowledgeable and efficient and made my wife and I feel very important. Mike in financing was also great and handled all the paper work quickly. Was so impressed I took my son in to see Kevin and Mike and he bought a CTS as well.
Poor service. I was promised things would be prepared for my appointment - they were not. They just want to get you in the door. Wasted an hour. Phone jockeys on the phone, not actual sales people
Worked with Brandon Foreman to purchase a vehicle. He was very responsive to all my questions, up front, honest, and always willing to go the extra mile. Definitely stop in to see Brandon if you're in the market for a vehicle!
Terrible experience since day 1. Complained about a noise during test drive, was assured the problem was fixed. Came back to pay for the vehicle and got down the road to hear the same noise. I immediately called back in and complained again. Only to be told the rims are bent and not under warranty. Only problem is rims were bent before I bought the truck.
We will never step a foot at this dealership! Very rude and sarcastic employees! Came here on an appointment for oil change and I did Not know I had a coupon and it had expired, I tried explaining, but of course they were being sarcastic like I was stupid. Well you lost a good customer and a few friends due to your manners.
Kevin Lewis was absolutely wonderful. He was extremely nice and helpful and went out of his way to help me and made sure I was satisfied before I left. Thanks a bunch.
This review is about their body shop/car service- I try my best to never write bad reviews but Crestview Cadillac service is the worse I have ever experienced. My car has been in the body shop since January 23rd, 2019. I waited 3 weeks to check on my car. After finally getting ahold of someone they said they would have it done by the end of February. It's now March 7th and I just found out that not only did the body shop manger Tony quit but they haven't even started on my car. They never once called me to keep me up to date and they still haven't took responsibility for giving me misinformation. I have already reached my max number of days for my insurance to cover any rental car and my insurance already paid them for all the parts and diagnostic work and I can no longer transfer my car somewhere else so now I'm stuck waiting for them to start something that was supposed to be finished long time ago. Biggest mistake dealing with them! All they said was they would call me back when they get more information. Makes no sense. Very unprofessional.
3-7-19 6:30pm - Craig Hubble the GM of Crestview Cadillac just called me to apologize and was very thruthful and sincere in speaking with me. Said he will do his best to work everything out. I appreciate the phone call and trust he will do his best to resolve the issues.
-4-15-19 - Craig Hubble the GM, did a great job with communication and honesty. He told me the exact problems and was straight forward with telling me how he would deal with everything. Wish more people in business and customer relations were like him. He made my experience completely different and was able to gain my trust back with Crestview and their body shop department. As long as Craig Hubble is there, I will always go back to them. Thanks again for everything! Car was fixed perfectly and looked amazing.
I bought a Cadillac here back in June So I have only brought my car here for service. Every time I have been here every single one of my questions and issues have been sorted out. I have brought my car here for various services atleast 10 times and every time I leave blown away with satisfaction. Usually dealers are quite difficult to deal with and only look out for themselves. Not Crestview. They tend to every single guest to the best of their abilities and I will continue to come here for years to come. Ask for Brad in service he is GREAT!!!
Sent an email to a used car sales person about a car in inventory. Sent a follow-up email and phone call. No one called or emailed me back but now I get junk email from the dealership. Terrific!
Thanks to Crestview Cadillac, my days of car-dealership dread are over! I came to them in a pinch, with less than a day to return a leased Mercedes and find a new car. I wanted an ATS coupe with a distinct trim level, but didn't want to break the bank. My sales consultant Donna Walker along with General Manager Craig Muran, New Car Sales Manager Steve Hunsinger, Finance Manager Chris Herrera and the ENTIRE team bent over backwards to work within my budget and timeline. Best of all, I didn't have to deal with any of the B.S. and games I'd dealt with at other dealerships. Every question and concern I had was promptly addressed. It was the Cadillac of service befitting of a Cadillac dealership professional, competent, courteous and honest. The whole experience was phenomenal. Go see the "Cadillac Whisperers" at Crestview. You won't regret it! - Liz Newman
I highly recommend Donna Walker at Crestview Cadillac in Rochester to give the savvy shopper the best deal out there. Donna made our buying experience smooth, quick and satisfying. She knows how to work the numbers to get her customers the best deal. We'll definitely give Donna our business in the future!
I have had great experiences with Crestview. From Craig Hubble to Looay Jamoua on the new car purchase expeience side to their service department it has been nothing short of a 5 star experience. I am a happy XT6 owner and my wife is a happy XT5 owner.
I wouldn't recommend this dealership. Starting from sales to service they fail to deliver the quality or efficiency one would expect from a Cadillac dealer in an upscale city. Speaking to others that have Used the dealership, they agree.
I probably should wait until after the law suit is settled, but if I can keep one person from entering Crestview, let alone buying a new car there, the risk will be worth it.
I leased a new Cadillac here predicated on the condition that they would pay off the remaining payments on my previous GM lease vehicle. Shook hands on the terms. When the time came to sign the contract though, there was no reference to the payoff. My wife and I were told that the payoff would be handled in a separate transaction. Made sense, so we signed the lease contract.
When it came time to pick up the new car and return the previous lease, there was no mention of the payoff, but we assumed there was another transaction pending. It never came and the next I heard about the payoff was a call from GM financial stating that the lien was never paid off and that the payments were past due. My next call was to my salesman John Dew who claimed the contract (which we signed under false pretenses) did not reflect the payoff terms and therefor the dealership had no intention of paying the remaining/outstanding balance. I left messages with Crestview management, but my calls were never returned. So I paid the balance myself and proceeded to sue the dealership seeking restitution.
Expect a slimy, car dealer response to this review about how my version of the story is misguided, so it will be up to you to decide who s version is right. But, keep in mind this is a car dealership.
As mentioned earlier, the suit is still pending, but I consider it worth the risk of jeopardizing the outcome in an effort to prevent anyone/everyone with a shred of dignity and an expectation of being treated respectfully (as you should when shopping for the best GM has to offer) from entering this business. They are a stain on the otherwise beautiful city of Rochester.
I normally would never leave a negative review. However this time I m fed up!! I wish that I could leave them 0 stars! Where do I start, I ve been going here for years I ve purchased several different vehicles and when it comes time too service or any kind of repair I get treated as if I m an infant child, I drive a 2020 platinum Escalade!! Wake up and reimburse me for my tires!!
Crestview is a great dealership. They make you feel like you are a valued customer. The car buying experience was pleasant and easy. Buy your Cadillac here.
Louay my sales rep was great and fast! Had my first experience with the service side as I got an oil change and had them look at a few things for me. Trevor was awesome and thorough. They are always respectful and quick. Provided me a loaner vehicle as they were working on my car. Clean and always sent me texts keeping me updated on eta of my vehicle
My experience and purchase with Crestview Cadillac was exceptional; from the friendliness of the staff answering the phone, to the personal attention and excellent customer service that I received from my sales rep John. I never once felt pressured by John or anyone else in order to make a sale and there wasn't one thing that I was dissatisfied during the entire purchasing process. Everyone that I encountered, including my dealings and service with the manager Rob, financing rep Tom, and even Paul in Parts, my purchasing experience was nothing but exceptional and truly a 5 star experience.
The service rep scheduled me in on an emergency and I arrived within the hour. They quoted about 2 hours and finished before that. the shuttle driver took me to a coffee shop downtown where I had a peaceful wait. I felt like I was a queen!
Brought my vehicle in to have them check on the heating modules for my steering wheel and front seats. After, they "completed" the work and replace the modules come to see my car is damaged on the B pillar and the steering. To top it off the car is dirty and the 2 of 3 heating modules still don't work. They order parts to fix the damages. During all of this I called asking for updates/leaving voicemails for call backs and no one calls me back. After a long month of not having my car I finally receive a call saying my car is fixed. I get in my vehicle and all 3 heating modules work...finally. Come to find out while I'm driving they didn't re allign my steering wheel. The manager then replies back saying mentioning the loaner they gave me during this time. haha Of course I am going to receive a loaner for an issue your dealership caused and when the vehicle is still under warranty.
This is our 3rd Escalade (and fourth Cadillac) and honestly, I should have learned my lesson by now. All 3 have had nothing but problems with the automatic running boards not going up and all 3 had had corrosion on the rims and trim.
We have 55,960 miles on our current Cadillac ext and replaced all 4 tires at 41,000 miles. All the wheels are and all chrome trim on the car has corrosion. Crestview refused to do anything about it even though we have the extended 100k warranty along with an additional wheel and tire protection warranty. Crestview has said that it is cosmetic and refused to cover it. The rims have all leaked and have had to be fixed multiple times. I would think that corrosion would be covered under one of the two warranties we have but Crestview said no, Serra says differently
We bought this Escalade from Crestview because they were close to our home. We stopped using them because we had our car in for service and an oil change and they gave it back saying that everything was good and that they looked the car over and it needed nothing. Two days later the brakes started squealing. We took it back and they said they needed to be replaced. This was only a days after they said it was fine and that nothing was needed based on their multi-point inspection (I have the paperwork showing that it was checked).
We started going the Serra due to the complete lack of confidence in Crestview s ability to service our car properly. If they tell us that everything passed their inspection but yet missed that the brakes needed to be done, how could we trust them to do anything?
A couple weeks ago we had a slow leak in our tire and needed to go on vacation and had no time to deal with the dealers so we took it to the local tire place to have them look at it. They said it was corrosion and we paid to have that cleaned up. Par for the course with these wheels.
Friday December 13th, we took the Escalade to Serra to get the oil changed and to have the running boards worked on for probably the 8th time. We let them know about having to take the tire to be fixed from a slow leak and that another tire is now saying it has a slow leak. We leave a message Monday afternoon and do not get a call back. We call again Tuesday and leave a message. Tuesday after 4pm we finally get a text stating that they can fix the rim but it will cost us and that it is not under warranty.
I am beyond frustrated that a car that costs that much money can not get its tires to hold air. I call the dealer and talk to the service person and voice my frustration. I though that Serra sold us the tires but he has no record, we must have bought them at Crestview. I tell him that we have had nothing but problems with the rims and he tells me that if we would have gone to him that he could have had them all replaced under warranty but that since we are over 50,000 miles, he can t do anything now. So, was he right and Crestview should have replaced them and the trim or was he wrong and throwing them under the buss? Either way infuriates me!
The service person also tells me that since we did not buy the tires from Serra that he has to clean the rims and charge for that and that we need to have them all rebalanced since they were all out of balance (really, after only 8 months). He also blamed Crestview for not cleaning them when the new tires were installed. I am not sure if they did or not or was it just that they corroded again. My guess is that they are corroded again since we have had this same slow leak problem on multiple tires at least a dozen times now. If it is corrosion, it should be warranty work and not billable.
I leave this up to Cadillac / GM to figure out how I tell this story. Ideally, I can say how it was frustrating but they stood behind their products and resolved our repeated problems fully. Or I can point at the $95+ Cadillac with the running board that does not go up with the corroded wheels and tell how the dealers are either negligent or play the blame game, and recommend that no one should buy a Cadillac!
Great job Donna Walker Thank you ! You made the purchase of my new 2016 Cadillac a breeze really enjoyed working with you. You guys are the best. Keep up the good work. Thanks Shirley
Lou the assistant sales manager lied to a customer regarding a cars value in order to sell another car. Shame on them for spreading such inaccurate information.
Made appointment for oil change tire rotation. Went in was meet by good morning Mr. Manzo. I was there 45 min and my XT5 was ready. In and out 45min outstanding. Brad was terrific.
