On October 30th my new racing bike (Cannondale) in the store Kesselsdorfer Str, personally picked up, I was very well advised about the exact frame size including the individual setting. The workshop manager wrapped up my desired handlebar tape, and in the meantime my wife and I were even given coffee.
It is already my 3rd high quality bike that I personally bought and picked up in the Kesselsdorfer Str. My conclusion, a somewhat longer journey is worthwhile, because the personal advice on site is very good.

Incredible. High-quality wheelsets are thrown together in a card without sensible padding, so that the shipping dimensions of DHL are strictly adhered to and no higher shipping costs arise. No matter where I've ordered wheels in this world so far, they ALWAYS came in a reasonable wheel box. Standing side by side and separated from each other by cardboard. Is this an April Fool's joke, or is Bike24 serious?

Ordered on March 7th, not yet dispatched on March 13th. This is annoying if you only have time to repair at the weekend.

Unfortunately, I will not order here anymore. The bike for my daughter arrived very quickly, I noticed a scratch in the setup and wrote an email. That was Friday evening, on Saturdays I called and wanted to ask how the exchange can be done quickly. It was said that someone reported, Monday morning I called again, again it was said that someone reports and that it is only a children's bike that would indeed get enough scratch and if I would be a discount rich. Monday afternoon came the long-awaited mail that I can send the bike back and since I'm in a hurry (birthday of my daughter), it would be easiest to send it back and order a new one. That would be another 300 euros from my account would be gone. As a retourschein was in place and therefore a return number was available, I asked if you could not send the new bike already going on, because you can see from the retournummer, I already sent the scratched bike away. I just want to briefly describe my order process here. What each reader of this review then concludes is his personal matter. In any case, it has been done for me.
The process: Article selected and added to the shopping cart. Then went to the cash register. Registration process carried out here. After that purchase clicked on invoice. Receive a summary of the order and confirmation of my binding purchase. The next day I received an email saying that purchase on account is not possible for new customers and that I should pay by credit card, advance payment or PayPal. For me it is .....

I ordered for the first time at Bike24. Goods arrived very quickly and the price was the cheapest. I'll order here again next time.

From now on I prefer other "bike online shops" an item of my order was not available. When after two weeks (money was already debited from PayPal) I received absolutely no feedback, I asked the support. One of the articles is not available and at the earliest on December 31st of the year (noted that it can be delivered almost 7 months after the order date).
I have not received any information from Bike24. The money was debited.
I was not offered a partial delivery or a refund from Bike24.
I've never seen anything like it in the bike industry.
Next time I'll order somewhere else!

"Fork maintenance, .. no!"

That one reaches someone in the store directly by phone, that was once - too bad! Now there is now a kind of telephone assistant, the caller only wait forever and, if you're lucky, ... - Conclusion: I landed at one point at the main office and you could not help me directly - too bad! Fortunately, the service staff was so friendly and prompted a call back on fork maintenance. At the later time the phone rang and you could finally help me. I wanted to have my suspension fork serviced by Bike24 for minor maintenance (gasket and oil change). The employee asked me in detail all the important information about the fork and terminates 4Werktage later a deadline in the workshop Kesselsdorfer Str. I explicitly asked if the fork is sent in and what the maintenance would cost. The answer to that was, if I want to, the fork can be returned to the manufacturer, but then the maintenance takes a long time and would make no difference to the maintenance in the workshop. I thought for a moment and confirmed the maintenance by phone for the price quoted by Bike24 directly. The employee also says that the employees are trained in the workshop and I can pick up the fork already 2 days later. All in all, a very satisfying offer for service to date. What more do you want? 4Werktage later, however, I was informed by the mechanic of the workshop with astonished look that a maintenance so fast and especially up-to-date, due to the two-week residues, was not possible. Although the appointment for fork maintenance was placed in the system, at the same time the maintenance was justified as not feasible in time, especially since not even the spare parts were ordered in advance (although I have previously communicated all the important details about the fork by phone)
In addition, I was told that you usually wait for the fork after the main season - such. in the winter. But even here you send the fork rather to the manufacturer or third party (probably because of the time required).
Well - Unfortunately, I can only give 2 stars for this customer service. I justify it as follows: I feel very deceived as a longtime customer with this offer. My dissatisfaction is very great, because I am u.a. For this extra the bike had to be shut down and partly dismantled. If you had informed me at a later date telfonsich a cancellation, because it is currently not possible in time, then it would be good. But not like that!

Good experience so far but there is no possibility for personal interaction. Send me an automated email that it is not possible. I guess it's because of Corona... Hence 3 star. I look forward to give higher scores in the future.

I ordered a bike from Bike24 and received it after 10 days of delivery (indicated were 5-9 days). The bike was very well packaged, transport damage was virtually impossible, big praise for it! The bike also seemed to have been checked well before shipping, everything goes like clockwork. There is a star deduction for the telephone support that cannot be reached due to Corona. E-mails are also answered rather slowly by customer service.

Wide range of items to choose from. Very fair pricing. My frameset and accessories were shipped out just 1 day after purchase. Too bad, due to silly distributors' rights and agreements, Singaporeans can't buy your bikes, Shimano stuffs and some other brands. Local bike shops in Singapore are so bad and prices are bad. As such, i am happy to pay for shipping charges because I still save a lot money. Highly recommended, Keep it up, and till the next batch(wife's bike project).

Reliable online shop with a huge assortment, good prices and outstanding service.

In recent years, I have really ordered a lot from Bike24 and was always enthusiastic about the great service, both in returns and in complaints.

Here are just three examples:

Schwalbe tires had an imbalance. Problem reported by phone. Made a video of the egg tire and sent it to Bike24 by mail. New tire was sent immediately without cost. Defective tire did not have to be returned.

Shopping completed and realized that I had forgotten a chain. Chain ordered separately and requested via the contact function, if the chain of the first order can be enclosed. Since the first order was already in the goods issue, this was not possible. Protocost for the chain were refunded anyway!

GPS device complained of a defect. Defective could not be repaired by Bike24 after 15 working days and the device was sent to the manufacturer. After another 15 days no feedback from the manufacturer. I then called a week before my bike holiday at Bike24 and made the urgency clear, because I did not want to navigate on vacation with map. Two days later, a brand new GPS device was in the mailbox.

These three examples alone have shown me that Bike24 seriously values customer satisfaction. I am definitely.

Personally, I can not recommend Bike24. I'll never buy anything there again.

A new MTB was bought there, delivered with defects and since 19/10/2019 is the rear wheel of my MTB there, because of a defect. Today we have the 18.11.2019 and the rear wheel is still not finished. To take so long for a rear wheel is an absolute NoGo. If that takes even longer, a lawyer will be turned on.

My acquaintance was also warned about Bike24. I have not experienced such a lousy service for a long time. Keep it up.

We bought Kettler Traveler Comfort Pro eBikes.
Unfortunately, Fahrrad XXL gave us completely wrong advice here and touted the 8-speed derailleur as absolutely sufficient for our very hilly region. After a lot of trouble and many trips that I couldn't drive because the gear ratio (11-32) was simply not sufficient, I installed at least an 8-speed cassette with 11-34. That went a little better but was still far from ideal.
After frustration over many ways that I just couldn't get up, considering selling the bike (which would have been an insane loss), I ended up with a very amateurish YouTube video that shows the conversion of an eBike from 9 to 11 gears on an eBike. After some research, I found out that my Hyperglide freewheel with the 8-speed cassette can hold up to 11-speed cassettes. For 12 gears you need another freewheel ("micro-spline freewheel" which costs at least 50-60 as a single part).
That's why I shot myself into an 11-speed conversion.
I wrote to various bike shops. Many did not respond at all to my special and complex request. Some have said that the 8-speed freewheel is not compatible with an 11-speed cassette and that the entire wheel or at least the freewheel has to be laboriously converted - which has now turned out to be not true!
Benjamin from Bike24 gave me great advice on this, confirmed my assumption that it should fit and made me a fair price for a complete conversion kit. Here I also got the option of carefully checking whether the cassette fits on the freewheel - to return it if it doesn't fit. With this option I had no concerns and I ordered the complete conversion set once:
1x Shimano Deore SL-M5100 Rapidfire Plus shift lever - 11-speed - right (SHI472065)
1x Shimano Deore RD-M5100-SGS Shadow RD + rear derailleur - long - 1x11-speed (SHI472051)
1x Shimano Deore CS-M5100 cassette 11-speed (SHI472187)
1x Shimano CN-HG601 chain 11-speed - with Quick Link - 126 links (SHI406628)

You also need a chain whip and a sprocket puller for Shimano HG as well as a rivet tool (Bike24 Cyclus Tools chain tool HG (CYC115824)) to change the cassette. A torque wrench is also useful.

The YouTube video was unfortunately too chaotic, so I looked at Shimano's homepage and found various instructions via "M5100". One of them (DM-MARD001-03) was very detailed with individual steps including pictures, explanations and all necessary torques.
This made the conversion work perfectly.

The new 11-51 cassette is just awesome. The new components shift significantly better and the translation in combination with the Bosch CX and a 20 tooth chainring at the front is just terrific.
The only drawback, the old chain guard at the front over the Bosch chainring no longer fits, as the chain arrives with a significantly more sharp sprocket due to the 51 tooth sprocket and would grind. For this there is also a solution from FSA called W1126 or the Miranda chain guard for Bosch drives. So everything is feasible and ingenious / clean solution.

I will now convert the 2nd eBike and then have it checked by my also super nice bike dealer.
Side note: I found a super reliable and fair free bicycle dealer through Google who serviced all Bosch bicycles and who also encouraged me to try the conversion myself for cost reasons. But he likes to take a final look at things with me, because I am technically fit but also more of a layman when it comes to bicycles.

Based on my previous experience, I can only recommend the shop. Compared to other providers, the range is diverse and the prices are usually lower. Service is good and delivery was fairly quick. I ordered a new bike there last year, which I had previously seen cheaper from another provider. After communicating this to bike24, I got the bike for the same lower price.
