"Fork maintenance, .. no!"

That one reaches someone in the store directly by phone, that was once - too bad! Now there is now a kind of telephone assistant, the caller only wait forever and, if you're lucky, ... - Conclusion: I landed at one point at the main office and you could not help me directly - too bad! Fortunately, the service staff was so friendly and prompted a call back on fork maintenance. At the later time the phone rang and you could finally help me. I wanted to have my suspension fork serviced by Bike24 for minor maintenance (gasket and oil change). The employee asked me in detail all the important information about the fork and terminates 4Werktage later a deadline in the workshop Kesselsdorfer Str. I explicitly asked if the fork is sent in and what the maintenance would cost. The answer to that was, if I want to, the fork can be returned to the manufacturer, but then the maintenance takes a long time and would make no difference to the maintenance in the workshop. I thought for a moment and confirmed the maintenance by phone for the price quoted by Bike24 directly. The employee also says that the employees are trained in the workshop and I can pick up the fork already 2 days later. All in all, a very satisfying offer for service to date. What more do you want? 4Werktage later, however, I was informed by the mechanic of the workshop with astonished look that a maintenance so fast and especially up-to-date, due to the two-week residues, was not possible. Although the appointment for fork maintenance was placed in the system, at the same time the maintenance was justified as not feasible in time, especially since not even the spare parts were ordered in advance (although I have previously communicated all the important details about the fork by phone)
In addition, I was told that you usually wait for the fork after the main season - such. in the winter. But even here you send the fork rather to the manufacturer or third party (probably because of the time required).
Well - Unfortunately, I can only give 2 stars for this customer service. I justify it as follows: I feel very deceived as a longtime customer with this offer. My dissatisfaction is very great, because I am u.a. For this extra the bike had to be shut down and partly dismantled. If you had informed me at a later date telfonsich a cancellation, because it is currently not possible in time, then it would be good. But not like that!
